He also maintains the young restaurant worker "sought out a friend for the specific purpose of introducing him" to Spacey.

In court yesterday, (Spacey also was caught speeding before appearing) the motion claims the teen "welcomed drinks" from the famous actor and allowed him to; "put his arm around around him near the piano while they did sing-a-longs and even left the bar to smoke."

It's alleged that the young man gave his phone number to Spacey, which the motion states suggested "mutual and consensual flirting".

Spacey doesn't actually deny groping the teen, but it does state that the teenager "did not object to the alleged touching, he did not ask Spacey to stop and he did not remove himself from the situation".

The young woman who was in contact with the accuser was never told about the alleged assault, it is purported.

A number of accusations have emerged about the veteran movie star, such as Anthony Rapp's explosive claims;

A spokeman lawyer said: "The commonwealth is requesting that Mr Spacey be ordered to stay away and no contact with the named victim and his family."

Judge Thomas Barrett said; "Certainly the court will impose those conditions."

The 59-year-old actor was seen arriving at court surrounded by paparazzi, less than a five-minute walk from the place where the alleged assault took place; Club Car lounge.

Spacey was silent on the claim and refused to comment as he left the courtroom and headed to his car. The next hearing date is March 4, but the actor is not obliged to attend.

Actress Margot Robbie is set to earn HUGE praise for her role in Mary, Queen of Scots, and now the Australian is set to star in a totally different movie.

She's officially signed on to produce and star in a live-action BARBIE movie, E! News reported today.

The 28-year-old actress released a statement expressing her delight at playing the role of Barbie;

Deciding what to do on Valentine's Day can be a major chore, especially for single ladies out there.

It can be a frustrating time of forging through millions of Facebook events, restaurant promotions specifically for two and condescending Whatsapp messages of pity from friends in relationships.

Why not break a world record while trying to find love? Something for the CV as well as a future cuddle buddy would be IDEAL, and the event raises money for two great causes as well.

Valentines Day Love GIF

An official Guinness World Record attempt will take place at the Custom House Quarter on Valentines Day 2019, and it looks absolutely unreal.

If you're single and ready to mingle, or just want to go along for the laugh (or have a competitive streak that can only be tamed by breaking records…) make sure to head to the CHQ speed dating event.

They need more than 655 attendees to beat the current record, and one of them can be you.

Maybe you're looking for a future life partner to walk down the aisle towards (seriously) or perhaps you're just bored this Valentine's Day like millions of us, round up your single friends and join the queue for a night to remember.

Tickets are €15 per person and include a drink on arrival (very much needed), snacks and entertainment on the night. If you show your ticket to EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum within three months following the event, you get two-for-one entry. Second date alert?

Take home some hilarious stories, not to be told at family events, and maybe even some romance? Who knows what lies in store.

All proceeds from your tickets will be going to Movember Ireland and Breast Cancer Awareness too, so you'll feel extra wholesome after finding a match made in…well, not heaven but close enough.

Get your tickets on Eventbrite, and based on your answers when registering you will be split into categories based on orientation and age (over 18s lads) to match you with your perfect date.As perfect as basic algorithms can manage at least.

Dates per person last three minutes each, so you'll get the sparks of love or just a few snippets of nice conversation/small talk, either way it's a win-win.

Matching will be done on a little app, where you can keep track of everyone you meet throughout the night. Think socially acceptable cyber snooping, like Tinder with a tracker.

valentines day cupid GIF

A link will be sent out to the app via email in January, and your profile can be created before the event.

The app basically acts as your wingwoman on the night; when you meet someone you can scan their QR codes and swipe right or left after the date based on if you're into them or would rather hide in a bin than ever see them once more.

If you both swipe right, you'll receive each other's contact details, and then LOVE WILL BLOSSOM. Hopefully. If you remember your phone charger.

The R&B and soul singer was one of few celebrities to appear in the Surviving R Kelly documentary, with stars such as Jay Z, Mary J Blige and Lady Gaga declining to appear.

While John Legend was applauded for speaking out against notorious sex predator Kelly in the Lifetime docu-series, which recounts the multiple abuse claims the musician has faced over the last three decades.

While appearing in the documentary was of monumental importance, Legend has now landed himself in hot water.

Fans were surprised to see a resurfaced photo of the 40-year-old and his wife happily posing for a photo with Harvey at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016, only a few months before the #MeToo movement took off.

The infamous 66-year-old movie mogul at the heart of the #MeToo movement is currently awaiting trial in New York on a number of related sexual assault and rape charges.

The All Of Me singer was forced to defend himself, writing a response to his Twitter followers;

"I took a photo with and worked with Harvey on several occasions before his abuse was known to me and the rest of the world."

"Since his being exposed, his company and career have rightfully been destroyed and he's been indicted. Sounds like something that should happen to R. Kelly."

 He continued in a follow-up tweet, saying "If y'all wanna cape for R and discount all these women's stories, just say it. Don't bring up some old pics of me and somebody else."

That being said, allegedly Harvey Weinstein's abuse was widely known throughout the entire entertainment industry for decades, so we find it difficult to believe that he had no clue what the movie producer was capable of.

What's your stance, do you think the image is important, or should the focus be on listening to the voices of R Kelly's victims and speaking out against enablers?

A 2010 clip of Gordon Ramsay and Sofia Vergara on the Jay Leno show has gone viral this week, purely because of how damn UNCOMFORTABLE it makes everyone feel.

Twitter users were quick to brand the infamous TV chef's behaviour as beyond inappropriate, especially in the #MeToo era where women are taking a stand against treatment such as this.

The interview shows Ramsay, then 52, appearing alongside the Colombian actress in an interview, where he clearly makes her feel incredibly objectified and upset with his sexist remarks and groping.

His comments during the clip aimed at the actress have not been received well, at one stage Vergara is talking to Leno and remarks; “I never scream like that in real life.”

She was presumably referring to the renowned shouts of her Modern Family character, but Ramsay is quick to respond with;“Only in the bedroom.”

Let's remember, this is part of Vergara's JOB. In an employment environment, he repeatedly interrupts her and makes her feel sexualised when she is trying to do her actual job.

He even moves chairs to essentially sit on Vergara without her permission, and he touches her upper thigh and tries to smack her. She tells him; "No, no. No touching!"

She begins speaking in Spanish at the audience, telling them "This man doesn't respect me." Understandably, she is uncomfortable and angry, and Leno did absolutely nothing to intervene.

He asks the actress and model; “Have you had a whole wedge in your mouth at any one time?” She cannot even reply as she is too stunned.

"Sofia Vergara didn’t deserve to be treated like this," one Twitter user wrote, retweeting the footage. "This is very very uncomfortable." Of course, people are MAD as hell, deservedly so.

sofia vergara babes GIF by MACHETE KILLS

Jay Leno is equally chauvinistic, asking her how much WEIGHT she gained while away on a trip, which she refuses to answer.

She is sexualised throughout the entire interview, while at work essentially, and is subjected to sexist and racist harassment.

Gordon Ramsay even tells her to change her son Manolo's name,to which she replies stone-faced "Can I what?"

The whole thing is a damn joke. Gordon, you're cancelled. Jay Leno, you're cancelled. Everyone go and smash the patriarchy and lift up Sofia.

It's not uncommon to hear people who show their ‘imperfect’ bodies called brave.

It’s great when people share posts and photos about loving their body. It’s great that they may inspire others to grasp and understand body positivity and it certainly shows some diversity to what we typically see on Instagram and magazine covers. But we shouldn’t call women ‘brave’ for simply having a certain type of body.

Too often, women who show off their bodies that match society's idea of conventional beauty are called ‘gorgeous’ while women put their supposedly ‘flawed’ bodies on display are commended for their bravery.

As if revealing your stretch marks, cellulite or tummy roles in public makes you a superhero.

Having suffered from eczema since a young age, I was always conscious of my skin. I struggled to find a magic potion that would soothe my rough, red and patchy textured skin.

Often, the only solution to stopping the itch was steroid cream. Years of slathering the creams on the backs of my knees had resulted in stretch marks developing in those areas.

For me, it was a small price to pay for the relief of constant discomfort. They are now a vital piece of what makes me, me, and more often than not, I forget they're even there.

However, on one sunny day last summer, I decided to wear a short summer dress -tight and restrictive clothing aggravates my eczema, not that it matters what I was wearing- when a friend pointed out my marks and commended me for showing them off.

‘Fair play to you for not covering them up,’ she said. ‘I'd never be as brave as you are,’ she added. I was lost for words. Why would I consider hiding them? Or am I supposed to take that as a compliment?

I don’t blame her for thinking it. I blame society.

A post shared by Chrissy Ball (@fitfarmmom) on

The reason people see this as bravery is because we perceive showing flaws, be it fat, a scar, whatever, as having some potential for social failure.

While fat and stretch marks are completely normal for women, it's something we don't always see shown off, particularly on social media.

We as a society have developed this notion that there's one certain way to look and that you have to look a certain way to be deemed ‘beautiful’.

Therefore, we think other bodies that don’t fit into that narrow perceived image of beauty are ‘imperfect.’ This has made showing off bodies not perceived as normal as some radical act, when it's actually just natural and we’re just human.

A post shared by Emma E. (@emmaersang) on

You don’t tell a catwalk model that they’re ‘so brave’ for displaying their bodies on runways and for photo shoots. And besides, comments like these are rather insulting to the women who are really displaying bravery in life.

There are people who are firefighters, risking their lives every day, there are people fighting cancer, fighting for rights for minority groups despite risking their own lives by doing so – they are acts of bravery.

Posting a photo without makeup on or a picture in a bikini isn’t. If the only positive feedback a woman receives from posting an untouched photo of her body is that it somehow represents ‘bravery’, it only makes it that bit more difficult for every person, be it, man or woman, to see the real beauty in any body type.

If we can’t change this then society will not stop perceiving the exposure of ‘imperfect’ bodies as an act of courage.

There is no reason loving our bodies exactly as they are should be seen as brave or radical. It should be the norm.

A RuPaul's Drag Race contestant has claimed that she was BANNED from donning a dress which resembled a giant sanitary pad on the hit diva show.

Drag queen Manila Luzon is currently competing on the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, which is synonymous with breaking glass ceilings and overcoming certain stereotypes.

In the latest episode of the show, which aired last Fridaym Luzon and the cast served some killer lewks and the drag artist herself wore a Chanel-inspired gown for the 'Curves and Swerves' challenge.

Controversy arose when Manila went public with Ru's decision to ban her original menstruation-inspired dress, saying it was in "bad taste", despite previous looks on the show being far more controversial.

Manila took to her Instagram to post an image of the dress, captioning the image;

"Ru said my ORIGINAL Curves & Swerves Runway look was in “bad taste” and production told me to wear my back up. I was really looking forward to wearing this gown that I think celebrates a perfectly normal human experience!"

"Many of my fans are young women who may feel pressured by society to be embarrassed by periods. It’s empowering to teach young women about their bodies, encourage them to celebrate them AND to question people who tell them not to!" she added. LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK.

A post shared by Manila Luzon (@manilaluzon) on

"My goal with this look was to normalise menstruation by looking great even if I was on my period!" she continued.

The look was curated by designer Dallas Coulter, and consisted of a sanitary pad corset and fake blood alongside a glamorous red skirt.

"Instead, I decided to wear the beautiful quilted dress you saw in the episode because it is not my show, it’s Ru’s. But because of Ru, I have my very own platform to speak for myself and show you all my interpretation!!

Fans of the show were NOT happy, to say the least.

Another Twitter user wrote; “Period drama! As an endometriosis sufferer thank you for trying to normalise periods."

Manila's post has caused major criticism of Ru Paul's methods, following public outcry last year when Ru expressed his disapproval of transitioning queens taking part in Drag Race.

He was accused of transphobia after saying actively transitioning women probably couldn't participate in the famous show;

RuPaul said, “Probably not. You can identify as a woman and say you're transitioning, but it changes once you start changing your body.”

“It takes on a different thing; it changes the whole concept of what we're doing,” the 57-year-old LGBTQ idol said, later apologising for his comments.

Neither Ru nor the production team have responded to the period dress debacle.
