Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is known for having a wicked sense of humour, but now he's saying that the younger generation need to adapt to his style.

The 46-year-old former wrestler, told the Daily Star that he's all for supporting free choice and expression, but the youth are basically finding reasons to be offended nowadays.

Bear with us, polarising comments incoming;

"I don’t have to agree with what somebody thinks, who they vote for, what they voted for, what they think, but I will back their right to say or believe it. That’s democracy."

“So many good people fought for freedom and equality – but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended," he added.

The interview recalls recent instances of 'PC culture' such as calls for the gingerbread man to be gender neutral, Baby It's Cold Outside getting banned and for the expletive f*ggot to be removed from Fairytale of New York.

Needless to say, a lot of people predictably were offended at his remarks, which tar a whole generation with the same brush.

The American actor, who is starring in the upcoming Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (HOW many of these movies need to be made, like please end them) added that the world has "progressed over the last 30 or 40 years."

He then did a turnaround by saying; "but, “generation snowflake or whatever you want to call them are actually putting us backwards.” Ouch.

*Tries desperately not to be offended and fails.*

Anyone who has seen the wholesome content that is To All The Boys I've Loved Before are 110% aware of how ADORABLE Noah Centineo and Lana Condor are.

It's not a question, it's fact. We all DEVOURED the cuteness between Lara Jean and the iconic God of 'Whoa, whoa, whoa' himself; Peter Kavinsky.

Noah Centineo has since gone on to land roles in the Charlie's Angels reboot, and also is filling the part of 'internet boyfriend' beautifully, if we do say so ourselves.

noah centineo peter kavinsky GIF

With such a great relationship between the two actors, we HAD to wonder, will they ever date in real life?

Lana Condor has only gone and BROKEN our hearts by claiming that the duo have a pact never to date.

WHAT. THIS ISN'T OKAY.

When the pair first met, the chemistry was so apparent that this rule wasn't so black-and-white back then.

Condor stopped by The Tonight Show last night and told Jimmy Fallon that she definitely "felt something" the first time she and Noah hung out. Obviously, have you seen the man's face?

"We had just got back from a hot yoga class, and we went to his apartment and we ordered pizza — it was right before we shot the movie, and we were just getting to know each other," the actress explained. "And I felt something." GET IT, GURL.

lana condor peter kavinsky GIF

Unfortunately, Lana Condor had to shut the whole thing down for "professional" reasons. BOO.

"We kind of did what we did in To All The Boys, the movie," she laughed, squashing all of our hopes and dreams.

"We made a contract and set boundaries. I'm so happy that we did that, because the movie turned out great, and now we're doing a sequel."

Good Lord, this woman has got seriously levels of restraint.

Lana also has a STUH-NING boyfriend, so we're guessing that put a spanner in the Kavinsky-works too.

Watch the interview below, and try not to cry over their lack of IRL love. We couldn't help ourselves.

Unlike today's teens, who look like they have just stepped down from the Inglot MUA's chair, we are from the era of foundation covered lips and self applied French manicures.

Perhaps it's down to the mass of YouTube tutorials and Instagram inspiration that wasn't available to us back in the day, but today's teens fail to fall into the (foundation coated) makeup traps we did in secondary school.

Here are a few of the top nostalgic makeup techniques we used back in the day:

1. Foundation lips

Foundation coated lips were the basis of an excellent makeup look in secondary school.

While voluptuous, lined and highlighted lips may be all the rage now, when we were 15, the look du jour was to pretend you didn't have any lips at all.

A post shared by Kirsty Downie (@kirstydownie) on

2. Foundation types

If it wasn't Dream Matte Mousse or pan stick, we didn't want it.

There was something about the mousses' air whipped formula that we found perfect for school, and the shiny, tanned, glamorous sheen awarded to our visages by pan stick was too good for us to resist.

The problem was the liberal nature in which we applied these products, rather than the products themselves. Less is more wasn't our mantra back in the day.

A post shared by Kelly Curtis (@sephora_addiction) on

3. Spidery lashes

Again with the opposition to less is more, layering mascara onto our lashes until they resembled a terrifying mass of brambles was the way to go.

Bonus points is the mascara started flaking off and left gorge little black specks under your eyes.

Fake eyelashes from the €2 Shop were also an option for discos, which were to be bought alongside your tube of glowsticks and disposable camera.

A post shared by Anna Joy (@makeupbyannajoy) on

4. Brushes? What brushes?

If an eye shadow palette came with a little sponge applicator, that was what was used for liberally layering the pastel shades.

The term brush roll sounded more like a baking term to us in our teens.

Applying foundation with your fingers was also an acceptable activity, whereas todays' teens wouldn't be caught dead without their beauty blender.

5. Orange foundation

There is something about being uber-tanned that seems like an absolute accolade when you are in your teenage years.

But like, who could be arsed tanning your whole body or splashing the cash for spray tans?

The natural remedy to our pasty skin was layers on tan in the spots of skin people could see, like our necks and forearms, and a nice coating of 'deep tan' foundation on our faces.

A post shared by @2000spop on

6. Foundation mask

Speaking of the aforementioned foundation, it was left in a flat, featureless mask on our faces, with the likes of highligher and contouring distant gifts from the future which had yet to be awarded to us via Kim Kardashian (who wasn't even a thing at this stage of our lives).

You may have occasionally opted for two delightful stripes of bronzer along your cheekbones or a splash of bright pink blush, but telling someone to get their 'highlight on fleek' back in 2008 would have been a completely foreign concept.

7. Raccoon eyes

Whether you were simply experimenting with a new look or had a deep, passionate relationship with The Pretty Reckless or Panic! at the Disco, raccoon eyeliner was the territory of emo kids at secondary schools the country over.

The look was accompanied by a matte black a swathe of eye shadow across the upper lid, symbolic of the deep and dark nature of the tormented soul of the wearer.

8. A severe lack of blending

Blending our makeup was something that we never did as teens.

After all, what was the point of wearing makeup if it didn't look like you were wearing makeup?

From that attractive orange jaw line to eye shadow that went all the way up to your brows, blending was far from the essential technique that it is seen as by the kids these days.

Fertility is a very personal aspect of our bodily health, and it differentiates person to person.

If you're worried about your fertility, you're definitely not alone. A Body Logic study found that 63% of women worry about their fertility.

Among millennials, 72% expressed a desire to have kids in the future.

Women in the study were found to be substantially more likely to worry about being able to conceive than men.

More than 6 in 10 women were worried they might not be able to have kids; however, just 1 in 10 women between the ages of 15 and 44 actually have difficulty getting or staying pregnant.

'There's no 'right time' to have a baby,' Karen Morton, gynaecologist and obstetrician at Dr Morton's, told NetDoctor.

'This is a simple truth. In my antenatal clinic I see women of 25 having their fourth child and women of 40 having their first.'

Social and economic trends have also contributed to a delay in women having their first child.

According to the Infertility Fears study, these trends have caused a steady rise in the average age of motherhood.

'2016 marked the first year on record in which women in their 30s had more babies than women in their 20s.'

Among all women surveyed, the most common cause for concern was not getting a regular period.

For men, only a third reported worrying about being unable to conceive.

For male respondents, the most common worry was that they might not produce enough sperm to impregnate their partners.

 The average father of a newborn is now 31 years old.

Tributes are pouring in for tennis star Andy Murray after a tearful press conference addressing his possible retirement.

The former world number one has claimed that retirement is imminent following injuries which have plagued him for years, especially that of his hip.

Speaking about the upcoming Australian Open, Murray broke down in tears as he said it could be his last tournament.

The three-time Grand Slam winner has broken himself in order to keep up with arguably tennis' greatest generation, with Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer hot on his heels all the time.

Murray was emotional as he spoke about this summer's Wimbledon tournament, saying; “I'm not sure I'm able to play through the pain for another four or five months.”

The Scotsman has won the beloved British tournament twice, and wants to finish his career in the place where he won his first ever Grand Slam.

He couldn't hold back the tears at the conference, after years of intensive physiotherapy and surgeries to try and maintain his status as one of the world's top players.

"I said to my team I think I can get through this until Wimbledon – that's when I'd like to stop playing,” he said.

Tributes have been coming in fast for the player and iconic feminist, among them is one from the infamous 39-time Grand Slam winner Billie Jean King;

Fellow player and BFF Nick Kyrgios posted a touching tribute to his 'brother' and 'old friend' Andy, and our hearts legitimately shattered;

Murray has become a low-key feminist icon after consistently defending female tennis players battling the notorious sexist in the sport, such as Serena Williams.

He has argued for women's rights in the sport in numerous press conferences, and has battled sexist questions from journalists throughout his career. SLAY ANDY.

During Wimbledon in 2017, Murray called on schedulers to give women more opportunities to play on the main show courts.

Let's not forget his unreal take-down of a reporter who claimed a male player was "the first US player to reach a major semi-final since 2009," even though Venus and Serena Williams as well as three other female players had achieved this.

YAS ANDY. SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK

He's also renowned for his blunt Scottish wit;

We love you Andy, never change.

Congratulations for all that you've achieved in the tennis world, you'll be remembered as one of the greats.

The X-Factor isn't on many of our 'To Watch' lists anymore, despite the fact that it used to be one of the most influential shows on ITV.

An old clip from the show has resurfaced and is causing a LOT of drama , mainly because of Simon Cowell's fat-shaming contestants.

The video went viral after one Twitter user found a clip from the show's early days which highlights the RELENTLESSLY harsh comments given by the judges.

In the clip, a newlywed named Samantha auditions for a place on the star search show, and faces absolute abuse from the judges at the time; Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne.

Sharon says; "I think you have a lovely face and a lovely voice," after Louis refers to the singer as "mission impossible."

Though Samantha is eventually voted through to the next round of The X-Factor, Sharon tells her to "go on a diet" after Simon wonders what she's "willing to do." WHAT?

Another Twitter user reminded the internet of how ruthless the music industry was during those years, claiming "Adele wouldn't have stood a chance of making it even with her amazing voice."

(That's just plain nonsense, Adele could change the WORLD with one single note.)

Other social media users reacted with outrage at the clip, claiming to be "shaken" by the harsh comments, which Simon earned fame for.

We think Samantha is gorgeous inside and out, we hope she's happy and confident wherever she is.

Veganuary is in full swing, where individuals challenge themselves to adopt a vegan diet for the first month of the new year.

Veganism has become pretty popular these days, with the number of vegans in the UK rising by 360 per cent in the last 10 years, according to a recent study by The Vegan Society.

With this in mind, we're sure there are plenty of Irish people willing to try the vegan lifestyle, which strictly prohibits the consumption of any animal by-products.

Veganism has been cited to improve the health, aid weight loss and be better for the environment than a carnivorous diet according to its followers.

Deliveroo has reported that orders of vegan takeaways have increased by 203% on last year.

'December’s excesses mean that we all often spend January trying to make more conscientious decisions when it comes to food' said Bobby Burns at Deliveroo.

'Each year there’s pressure to create and follow a new year’s resolution. Deliveroo makes it easy by offering healthy food choices, making it easy to stick to those changes.'

Deliveroo is encouraging curry lovers to give The Garden of Vegan's new offering a go. A comforting vegan curry consisting of chickpeas, lentils, sweetcorn, and roasted potato, cooked with cumin seeds and tumeric is on the menu courtesy of the Ranelagh based restaurant.

It's also National Chicken Curry Day on 12th January, so if you needed another excuse there you have it.

First of all, Zac Efron is a human being and can dye his hair absolutely any colour we wants, defying public opinion.

That said, the internet is completely torn over the actor's new 'do, mainly because it's PLATINUM BLONDE. Yes, you heard that right. Like Draco Malfoy-style blonde.

He was everyone's childhood boyfriend after his stint in High School Musical, but it appears fans have become too used to his sweeping brown locks. They've lost their minds at this latest news, literally.

"I might be unstable," says one fan, just so you know that we weren't exaggerating when we said fans had certifiably forgotten their sanity.

Acquaint yourself with the new Zac Efron, while you can. Get your glasses out, and examine it for yourself gals.

See? We never lie to you.

Squint and you can spot him in this Tweet, a 'lil blonde Zac/Draco innocently ignoring all of the fan fever over a hair colour;

The actor is officially a member of the Bleach Blonde Boys Club, and we HAVE to show you fan reactions because they are absolutely hilarious and disturbing at the same time;

The lewk has been sported by Zayn Malik, Ansel Elgort and, em, Pete Davidson, so it's a trend now.

One Twitter user wrote; "Zac Efron dying his hair platinum blonde is something I didn't know that I needed" and we have to agree with her there. Especially with that beard growth.

Another social media member had to use Oprah's face as a reaction, understandably.

"Don't talk to me unless you have more photos of Zac Efron with his blonde hair," another wrote. Amen.

One woman wants the internet to forget about Trump's wall drama in order to focus on what's important; Zac's hairstyle. Logic level 9000;

Some just went straight in with a proposal, which we're not sure we endorse;

Ice blonde really does get a reaction, especially for Zac Efron fans, we have to say.

What do you think of his new Baywatch-style look, Yay-watch or Nay-watch? (We're the only ones laughing at that joke but we don't care)

Applying wallpapers around your windows and doors Toronto can be fun if you master the art of doing it. Learn how to do it here.

How to Wallpaper Around Windows and Doors in Toronto

There are some things which were done by 90s and back homeowners that were simply cool, but you may not see them in modern homes. Things such as sponge-painted walls and painted vegetable and fruit stencils were just cool. However, they never thought about applying wallpaper around their windows and doors Toronto. Despite that, some people believe wallpaper is not modern and shouldn’t be included in contemporary homes. Contary to that, there are others that recognise a variety of textures and shades that modern wallpaper comes with let alone the sophistication and level of personality it adds to your room.

Applying wallpaper around your windows and doors Toronto can be enjoyable DIY project during your weekend! However, that doesn’t come easily. You should do your research to understand some tricks and tips to make this project successful. Here are some tips and tricks for beginners.

Step One.

To begin, trim the wallpaper roughly to the required size around the windows and doors Toronto to make it easily manageable. Once you get the piece to match it to the frame and cut it to allow almost 25mm of an overhang.

Paste then hang your well-trimmed paper until it reaches the length that meets the frame. Take measurements between the door frame at the bottom, middle and the top and the edge of the previous length you have already hung. Consider the widest measurement and leave an approximately 25mm overlap.

Step Two.

By use of a plastic smoother or smooth brush, smoothen and press the paper into the edge of your door frame.

Step Three.

Slowly but gently, press the line into the paper along the frame edge, using the rounded back of your putty knife. Grab the edge of the paper and remove it from the wall and cut it neatly along the line using the scissors. Press the paper back in place and clean any excess adhesive with a light, moist sponge.

Having finished the most technical part of this process, the next part is to select the best design of wall coverings for space. With so many dimensions, textures, colours, and prints available to choose from, it is no doubt you will find yourself unable to make a choice. The basic question is when you get into your room, what kind of emotions do you want to evoke? What do you want your visitors to feel? Here are few things to guide you in making the right decision for your wallpaper for your windows and doors Toronto.

The space you are working in- living space would need livelier décor. The bedroom would need warmer and light prints.

The moody you want to convey.

Your room’s lighting-bold prints are needed for well-lit rooms.

Textured wallpapers are perfect for hiding imperfections on your wall.

Tie-dye is generally associated with the hippies of the 60s and 70s, Full Moon parties in Thailand and festival season.

However, for SS19, designers are pushing tie-dye as a micro-trend for the office, brunch or a night out rather than a tropical holiday or music festival.

The looks was dotted all over the SS19 runway shows, at major fashion houses like Prabal Guruing, R13, MSGM and Stella McCartney.

Here are six ways to wear the boho style in 2019:

For Work

This stunning Tie-Dye animal print skirt from Next is perfect for the office. Team with a black jumper and boots like the model shown, or add white runners, a white t-shirt and denim jacket for casual Fridays,

This Mango lace-topped camisole is perfect for layering (and it's on sale!). For a busy day at work, wear it over a light turtleneck top an black jeans, then whip off the turtleneck and add a leather jacket for desk-to-dancefloor ease.

For a hectic day of meetings, this Topshop tie-dye print dress is ideal – add heels for the boardroom or go for easy to wear mules and a trench coat for an on-trend look. While the tie dye trend might come and go, the print on this guna doesn't scream hippy, so we will be stashing it away for an end-of-year winter wedding, where sky-high heels, a warm-toned clutch, statement necklace and cropped fur jacket will breath new life into the trend for a colder season.

For Play

This Topshop sponge painted blouse would also look fab at work tucked into a tailored trouser, but teamed with killer heels and a black leather skirt the shirt would look flawless.

Mango's Northern Lights remnant print is so good, we'll take both the cami and the lace-edged slip dress. For the colder months, we're throwing this on over thick tights and a grey turtleneck with our chunkiest coat, and when the weather warms up, add Dr Martins, bare legs and an oversized blazer.

The simplicity of a good t-shirt is elevated with a hint of tie-dye print. This ASOS tie-dye summery t-shirt is a winner tucked into any pair of jeans, or amplify your brunch casual style by pairing this with a metallic pleated midi skirt and a pair of sandals.

Only last May Selena told 60,000 fans about her bond with Taylor when she gave a surprise performance of Hands to Myself during Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour in California.

Speaking about Taylor's care for her, she said;

“This person has never ever judged a single decision I’ve made. She’s always met me where I’ve been,” she said, according to a fan video.

“She’s encouraged me when I’ve had nothing to be encouraged about, and I don’t know if I would be as strong as I am if I didn’t have you and your family because you’ve changed my life,” Gomez added.

WE LOVE THE FRIENDSHIP. Never let it die, gals.

Hugh Jackman has proven why he's The Greatest Showman by making one little Irish girl's dream come true.

Seven-year-old Emma from Lucan is a superfan of Hollywood star Hugh Jackman after seeing his latest film, and her mother thought of a genius plan to get his attention.

After failing to nab tickets to see the star on his new tour, Jacqueline Cooney recorded her daughter singing A Million Dreams in the hopes of getting him to see it.

Devoted mum Jacqueline appeared on Muireann O'Connell's lunchtime show on Today FM yesterday, and revealed her reasoning.

"My daughter Emma is a huge fan of The Greatest Showman. She spent all Christmas singing the songs and Santa brought her a sing-along CD," she said.

"We missed out on tickets to see the show in the 3Arena so I said I'd record her singing a little song for him from the movie and send it to him and see would he see it."

The mother of three posted the video of Emma singing to Hugh, but it initially failed to get a response from the man himself, until fellow actor Liev Schreiber showed it to him.

The mother of three posted the video of Emma singing to Hugh, but it initially failed to get a response from the man himself.  "I said to myself that this is going to need something big . . . " Jacqueline said.

It turned out that Ray Donovan star Schreiber, and one of Jackman’s childhood friend Gus Worland were the ones to get the Australian actor to watch Emma's tribute.

"At first we were thinking of giving up but then four days later or so he saw it and he sent a special message that I know he wouldn't have just sent to anyone," she said.

"I was pretty freaked out when I saw it yesterday afternoon," Jacqueline added. "I was looking at something else and then it came up, 'Hugh Jackman mentioned you on Twitter'".

The actor sent an adorable message to Emma, addressing her directly;

"I just want to say your little girl, thank you so much for singing that song. Thanks so much for being a fan. And never stop dreaming. Remember, life is what you choose to make it so make it fantastic!"

Emma and her mum were over the moon after seeing it; "I was expecting maybe a text or something but a video and what he said was so lovely and so genuine," she continued.

What a wonderful story, the actor truly is a gentleman.

Congratulations to Emma, she certainly has a bright future of singing ahead of her with connections like these.
