Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has penned the most emotional birthday tribute to his daughter Jasmine. His little girl celebrated her fourth birthday this week and we can’t quite cope with the adorable message her dad wrote.

Dwayne shared a photo of him holding Jasmine in his arms. The father-daughter duo look as happy as ever in the touching photo.

Alongside the sweet snap, the actor wrote:

“Can’t promise I’ll be here for the rest of your life, but you have my word I’ll love and take care of you for the rest of mine,” the dad shared.

He continued, “Happy 4th Birthday, my Jazzy.”

“And thank God you got your mama’s good looks,” he quipped.

We weren’t the only ones who were welling up at that emotional caption.

One fan wrote, “This caption though. I’m not tearing up, someone cuttin onions around here.”

“Aww this is so precious! I'm tearing up!!” another wrote.

Another shared, “I can see the girls have inherited you and your wife's kind souls. Mr. Johnson you are a lucky man to have such a wonderful family.”

The dad-of-two said that becoming a parent is the best thing that ever happened to him. He told Oprah: "I realized being a father is the greatest job I have ever had and the greatest job I will ever have. I always wanted to be a great dad.”

The Jumanji actor and his wife Lauren have two children together- four-year-old Jasmine and one-year-old Tiana.

He is also a dad to 18-year-old Simone, who he shares with ex-wife Dany Garcia.

Hollywood actor Kevin Hart is currently "able to walk and move his extremities" but he still might need surgery, US reports are saying.

The dad-of-three is recovering in hospital after he was left with "major back injuries" after a horrific crash on Sunday morning in California.

Medics are hopeful that the 40-year-old will make a full recovery, but The Blast reports that he's undergoing tests to determine which back surgery he may need.

Hart reportedly left the crash scene on Mulholland Highway to call paramedics shortly after the accident occurred.

28-year-old Jared Black, who was driving Kevin's rare 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, sustained back injuries and was taken to another hospital.

Jared's fiance and Kevin's wife's personal trainer, 31-year-old Rebecca Broxterman, only complained of minor pain.

A California Highway Patrol collision report said Jared lost control of the vehicle as he turned onto the highway.

The car then veered off the road and rolled down an embankment in the early hours of Sunday morning. Hart has received floods of heartfelt messages from A-list fans and friends.

The Rock pleaded with the Jumanji: The Next Level star to "stay strong" for the laughing they have to do together; "Stop messing with my emotions brother."

Presenter and Brooklyn 99 star Terry Crews tweeted: "Get well soon, brother." Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston posted a photo to his Instagram with the caption:

“Let’s all send him positive energy and healing thoughts. He’s a good human. Get well soon, brother. B."

Hart's rare 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, known as 'The Menace', was unrecognisable in the images of the wreckage, as the roof and bonnet was ripped off and doors almost flattened.

Hart had purchased the car for his 40th birthday in July to add to his extensive fast car collection.

"I added some more muscle to the family for my 40th….welcome home 'Menace,'" he wrote on Instagram after buying the car.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is known for having a wicked sense of humour, but now he's saying that the younger generation need to adapt to his style.

The 46-year-old former wrestler, told the Daily Star that he's all for supporting free choice and expression, but the youth are basically finding reasons to be offended nowadays.

Bear with us, polarising comments incoming;

"I don’t have to agree with what somebody thinks, who they vote for, what they voted for, what they think, but I will back their right to say or believe it. That’s democracy."

A post shared by therock (@therock) on

“So many good people fought for freedom and equality – but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended," he added.

The interview recalls recent instances of 'PC culture' such as calls for the gingerbread man to be gender neutral, Baby It's Cold Outside getting banned and for the expletive f*ggot to be removed from Fairytale of New York.

Needless to say, a lot of people predictably were offended at his remarks, which tar a whole generation with the same brush.

The American actor, who is starring in the upcoming Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (HOW many of these movies need to be made, like please end them) added that the world has "progressed over the last 30 or 40 years."

He then did a turnaround by saying; "but, “generation snowflake or whatever you want to call them are actually putting us backwards.” Ouch.

*Tries desperately not to be offended and fails.*

Dwayne Johnson proves time and time again why he's one of our FAVE celebs.

In a heartwarming video, a little lad from Kildare had his wish granted by meeting The Rock.

Nine-year-old PJ is living with Ewing's sarcoma and wanted nothing more than to meet his idol.

Make-A-Wish Ireland was the organisation behind this very special day.

PJ was one of three kids who had the chance to hang out on the set of Hobbs & Shaw.

Little did they know that Dwayne would soon be joining them.

The look of pure shock as The Rock walks in on PJ's face is a sight to behold – it's just so CUTE.

The Rock then treats PJ to a number of presents, including an X-box gaming gift voucher.

The nine-year-old then chimes in that he doesn't have the console, but Dwayne quickly came to the rescue with a custom made X-box.

The specialised gifts didn't stop there, as The Rock gave him some of his signature homemade chocolate chip cookies – if you're a fan of The Rock, you know how amazing this gift truly is.

After spending the day with PJ, Tanya, PJ's mum said: "This is a chance of a life time…He's just so happy."

PJ added that meeting his idol was "just a dream come true."

Reflecting on the experience, The Rock thanked the children he met and added that he has "the best job in the world."

On Twitter, Make-A-Wish thanked Dwayne for granting PJ's wish.

The Rock responded with: "PJ’s an awesome and special boy. So cool that I got a chance to hang out with him!! Thanks PJ!"

You can watch the full video of PJ's special day below.

Excuse us – we may have something in our eye.

Just when we thought we couldn't love Dwayne Johnson anymore – he shows that he's a true legend.

Who needs Santa when Dwayne Johnson exists? – Certainly not his mother.

Dwayne gave the big man in the red suit a run for his money when he gave his mother a Christmas gift of a lifetime.

Dwayne aka 'The Rock' splashed out by buying her a HOUSE to show her just how much he appreciates her.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a clip of his momma receiving the pressie and its totes emotional.

A post shared by therock (@therock) on

Dwayne captioned the video: "This one felt good. Surprise! Bought my mom a new home for Christmas."

"All our lives growing up we lived in little apartments all across the country. Lived like gypsies on the road from one state to another.

The first home my parents ever lived in was the one I bought for them in 1999."

A post shared by therock (@therock) on

He went onto explain that after five years, they decided to divorce, but he always made sure that his parents had everything they ever needed.

However, he said this particular time was a "special one and the timing is very meaningful."

"I told her to treat this card like it’s “Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket” because she gets to choose any home she wants – anywhere she wants," he wrote.

"I always say, if you got a good mama, then you gotta pretty good shot at becoming a decent human being," he added – couldn't agree more tbh.

A post shared by therock (@therock) on

Humble as always, Dwayne finished by saying: "And somehow, somewhere along the line I became one lucky SOB to be able to make stuff like this happen.

Merry Christmas Ma and WOOOHOOO enjoy your new home."

We think her reaction and face says it all – she's completely overcome by emotion.

We think we know who has won son of the year.

The Rock is well known for his reputation as World's Best Dad, but this latest photo of him with his daughter Jasmine is literally taking adorable to a whole new level.

The actor, real name Dwayne Johnson, posted an image of his daughter painting his face while he eats breakfast, and the conversation between them might just leave you gasping for air.

He outlines a morning in the life of a busy father; he asks Jasmine for a kiss before he leaves for work, and gets a little more than he bargained for.

A post shared by therock (@therock) on

He posted the caption:

"Me: Baby come here and give daddy a kiss, he’s gotta go to work.
Jazzy: But daddy I have to paint your toes.
Me: Nope, daddy’s got his shoes on and gotta go to work, now come give me a kiss.
Jazzy: Ok, then let me paint your face, daddy.
Me: *confidently laughs* Absolutely not, now I gotta go to work, now get over here and kiss me.
Jazzy: *while looking up at me with her mama @laurenhashianofficial’s intoxicating blue eyes… BUT DADDY, I need to paint your face for work.
Me: Ok, but make sure you choose manly colors that are flattering to my complexion.
As much as I tell her no, with my crazy busy life, this is the stuff I actually love  #ohana"

He previously posted a similar image, describing his attempted trip to work and how it was taken over by a nail painting session. We don't know which of the pair we're more jealous of..

Johnson clearly adores his daughter, and we don't blame him.

The actor and his partner Lauren Hashian are also parents to Tiana Gia, who was born in April. The Rock also has another child from a previous marriage.

We hope he never stops posting pictures like these, otherwise what else would brighten up our days in this icy weather?

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has stolen our hearts – not just because of his amazing dad bod but because of his genuine personality as well.

He always goes the extra mile for his family, putting his girls first as often as he can.

And today is no exception.

When saying goodbye to his daughter Jasmine, she had an important request that could not wait.

A post shared by Lauren Hashian (@laurenhashianofficial) on

The Moana star explained the two’s morning conversation:

“Me: Come here baby, give daddy a kiss. I got to go to work.

“Jazzy: But daddy you need your nails painted.

“Me: Sorry baby, daddy’s gotta go to work.

“Jazzy: No daddy you really need your nails painted – as she looks up at me with her mama’s gorgeous blue eyes.

“Me: Yes, you’re absolutely right – daddy needs his nails painted.”

A post shared by therock (@therock) on

He then added the hashtags #PapaBearPriorities and #NoRemoverNeeded.

The loving father did not have the heart to deny his little girl her request before they began their day apart.

And it is seriously the cutest thing ever! #boyfriendgoals

He has been busy working on his latest Disney movie Jungle Cruise which co-stars Emily Blunt and Jack Whitehall.

But we are happy to see that the Hollywood star continues to put the girls in his life before his own career.

This daddy’s girl is so proud that her Papa Bear made time for her and has no shame in showing off his daughter’s beautiful nail art.

The Rock is everything we need in a man…where can we find our own Dwayne Johnson?

When US teenage Katie Kelzenberg asked Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to escort her to prom, she probably didn't expect him to even notice her request, let alone post a heartfelt video response.

Taking to Twitter last week, the 18-year-old posted a short clip in which she declared herself "the biggest Dwayne Johnson fan" before showing off her impressive collection of merchandise.

Showing off her sense of humour, Katie dressed in a turtleneck, jeans and fanny pack – a style similar to that worn by Johnson in a now infamous photo taken of him in the 90s.

"So Dwayne, will you 'rock' it at prom with me?" she finished.

Not wishing to let Katie down, but realising that he couldn't make the date due to work commitments, The Rock took it upon himself to contact her school and recorded a message to be played out over the intercom.

According to Newshub, the star can be heard saying, "you're probably thinking, 'what is 'The Rock' doing on our intercom system?'"

"Well, I'm sending a message to a very special young lady."

As a he couldn't make it to the prom, the Rampage actor tells Katie that he'd rented out an entire movie theatre for her and her friends to see him new film.

"And all the popcorn and candy and soda you can drink, it's all on me. Everything is free and I want you to go have the greatest time."

SURPRISE KATIE KELZENBERG! About a week ago, I come across a video on my Twitter feed, from a student at Stillwater Area High School (oldest high school in Minnesota) asking me if I would be her date to her prom. Unfortunately, I’ll be shooting during that time in Hawaii, BUT I was so impressed by this young lady’s charm and confidence to even ask me (ladies always get shy in front of me) that I had to do something special. I decided to rent out an entire theater (capacity 232 seats) in her town so Katie and her closest 232 friends and family can enjoy a special screening of RAMPAGE. And all the free popcorn, candy and soda high school kids can consume! You’re money’s no good Katie… everything is on Uncle DJ. !! And I also taped a special morning message surprising Katie and her high school that will play across the school’s intercom system… literally…RIGHT NOW, Katie should be turning red hearing me surprise her in front of her entire school. I wish I was there in person Katie, to see your reaction to all this, but I’ll hear about for sure and most importantly – you and all your friends have fun at the theater and ENJOY RAMPAGE! Thanks for being an AWESOME FAN and I’m a lucky dude to have fans like you. Uncle DJ Ps – the gorilla in Rampage is way smarter (and better looking) than I am, but don’t tell him that because he has a HUGE ego

A post shared by therock (@therock) on

He also posted an Instagram video in which he spoke of his admiration for Katie's "charm and confidence."

"Young ladies to high level executive women get very shy in front of me lol," he wrote.

"But this high school student stepped out of her comfort zone and hit me with the promposal."

Battling depression and mental health issues can feel like a lonely, isolating journey. Thankfully, these days people are being more open about their own struggles with mental health as the stigma around the topic wears away, giving hope to those around them who may be suffering in silence.

One such brave and outspoken person is Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

The movie star, who is one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood, recently opened up to Express about his experience with depression and how torn up he felt witnessing his mum's suicide attempt when he was a teenager.

The family had been evicted from their apartment just months before she tried to kill herself.

A post shared by therock (@therock) on

“She got out of the car on Interstate 65 in Nashville and walked into oncoming traffic,” he told the British newspaper.

Cars swerved to avoid hitting his mother Ata. Dwayne, who was only 15 at the time, stepped in to save his mum.

“I grabbed her and pulled her back on the gravel shoulder of the road," the father-of-two continued.

“What’s crazy about that suicide attempt is that to this day, she has no recollection of it whatsoever. Probably best she doesn’t.”

The 45-year-old said that his own battle with depression made it very difficult for him to do anything.

"I reached a point where I didn’t want to do a thing or go anywhere," he recalled, "I was crying constantly.”

Depression plagued him again as the actor found his professional football dreams dashed by a number of injuries. He was let go by the Canadian Football League after only a year with them.

Combined with a breakup not long after, Dwayne reflected, “That was my absolute worst time."

The beloved actor says that he and his mother are both in better places now regarding their mental health, but that he and others should always be aware that those around them may be hiding their inner struggles.

A post shared by therock (@therock) on

“We both healed but we’ve always got to do our best to pay attention when other people are in pain. We have to help them through it and remind them they are not alone," he told Express.

The former wrestler's story resonated with fans around the world, and he thanked them for their kind words in a tweet.

"Got tons of responses to this. Thank you. We all go thru the sludge/sh*t and depression never discriminates. Took me a long time to realise it but the key is to not be afraid to open up. Especially us dudes have a tendency to keep it in. You’re not alone," he wrote compassionately.

We thank Dwayne and everyone who uses their voice to give hope to people struggling with mental health issues.

There's The Rock… and then there's Dwayne Johnson.

The Rock is an uber bad-ass who works out 20 hours a day while Dwayne Johnson is a complete and utter softie.

And it looks like the latter took to Instagram last night if a recent post on The Rock's page is anything to go by.

Sharing the sweetest video of himself and his nine-month-old daughter, Jasmine, playing their favourite game, Dwayne wrote: "Finally my big head is used for more than just a place to hang my hat."

"The joys of being home w/ my ohana and playin' one of our fav games – slap daddy's head 'til I can see his big scary face," he continued. (sic)

"Song playing in the background is "O Tiare" (Justin Young). A song I started singing to her every day since she was one week old."

"Samoan lyrics are beautiful, "Ia alofa le Atua, ma tausi ia te 'oe…" which translates to "may God take loving care of you," the actor told followers.

Finishing the post, which clocked up a staggering 4.9 million views, Dwayne joked: "I must now go do something very manly and bad ass to counterbalance this post."

Acknowledging Dwayne's parting words, one of the star's followers wrote: "Aww our children makes even the manliest toughest guys into mush. Fatherhood, the best ride of our lives."

Excuse us while we watch this over and over.

Since the news broke that a remake of Baywatch was going to hit our screens, people began to wonder whether David Hasselhoff would make an appearance.

Well you can stop wondering, because it has been confirmed that the Hoff is going back onto the golden shores.

Dwayne Johnson, who is the lead in the new movie, took to his Facebook page to announce the news and spoke to David via videocall.

In the conversation, the Hoff said he was "born ready" to join the movie and he was going to "Rock and Hoff."

We doubt David is going to be prancing around with Dwayne and Zac Efron, but then again, you never know what will come out of this movie.

Well, another lady, another break-up.

Leonardo DiCaprio and model Kelly Rohrbach are no longer an item, People have reported.

The pair, who first got together last summer, apparently split up months ago but hid it from the media. A trusty source told the website that they have remained "friendly and super amicable."

People have also claimed the Leo's work is what's to blame for the split, and reassures us that, "there is no one else in the picture."

But she also has an exciting time ahead of her as she's going to star alongside new-dad, The Rock in the upcoming Baywatch movie.

Pamela Anderson, eat your heart out.
