First of all, Zac Efron is a human being and can dye his hair absolutely any colour we wants, defying public opinion.

That said, the internet is completely torn over the actor's new 'do, mainly because it's PLATINUM BLONDE. Yes, you heard that right. Like Draco Malfoy-style blonde.

He was everyone's childhood boyfriend after his stint in High School Musical, but it appears fans have become too used to his sweeping brown locks. They've lost their minds at this latest news, literally.

"I might be unstable," says one fan, just so you know that we weren't exaggerating when we said fans had certifiably forgotten their sanity.

Acquaint yourself with the new Zac Efron, while you can. Get your glasses out, and examine it for yourself gals.

Here's the white-haired evidence in all its glory;

See? We never lie to you.

Squint and you can spot him in this Tweet, a 'lil blonde Zac/Draco innocently ignoring all of the fan fever over a hair colour;

The actor is officially a member of the Bleach Blonde Boys Club, and we HAVE to show you fan reactions because they are absolutely hilarious and disturbing at the same time;

The lewk has been sported by Zayn Malik, Ansel Elgort and, em, Pete Davidson, so it's a trend now.

One Twitter user wrote; "Zac Efron dying his hair platinum blonde is something I didn't know that I needed" and we have to agree with her there. Especially with that beard growth.

Another social media member had to use Oprah's face as a reaction, understandably.

"Don't talk to me unless you have more photos of Zac Efron with his blonde hair," another wrote. Amen.

One woman wants the internet to forget about Trump's wall drama in order to focus on what's important; Zac's hairstyle. Logic level 9000;

Some just went straight in with a proposal, which we're not sure we endorse;

Ice blonde really does get a reaction, especially for Zac Efron fans, we have to say.

What do you think of his new Baywatch-style look, Yay-watch or Nay-watch? (We're the only ones laughing at that joke but we don't care)

We know Christmas is six months away, but we can’t help but feel the tiniest bit excited about this upcoming Netflix movie.

Last Christmas, we were completely obsessed with the popular and incredibly cheesy Netflix film A Christmas Prince. We must admit we tuned into the film more than once over the festive period.

We’re sure you’re going to adore this year’s Netflix original Christmas flick The Princess Switch, starring High School Musical alum Vanessa Hudgens and Nashville star Sam Palladio.

The romantic comedy is all about a Duchess and a commoner who trade places when they realise the uncanny resemblance between them. It sounds like The Parent Trap sprinkled with Christmas cheer and set somewhere a lot more glamorous than a campsite.

However, things get complicated when they both fall in love with men who have no idea who they really are.

Vanessa treated fans to a glimpse of the movie on her Instagram account. She shared a photo with co-star Sam Palladio in full costume.

A post shared by Vanessa Hudgens (@vanessahudgens) on

She captioned the photo: “Did someone say a royal wedding? That’s a wrap on THE CHRISTMAS SWITCH. coming to you this holiday season on Netflix.”

The Spring Breakers actress added: “I’m so excited for you guys to see this one.”

Vanessa may have mixed up the title of the movie, but we cannot wait to see her in the Netflix festive flick.

The film may not be released for a couple of months but we’re already daydreaming of cosying up in front of the fire and tuning into The Princess Switch.

Corbin Bleu – who famously played Chad Danforth in HSM – is now a married man.

He tied the knot yesterday evening, exchanging vows with fellow actor, Sasha Clements.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, Mr Bleu confirmed: "Getting married to Sasha today was the best moment of my life."

The couple wed in the Santa Barbara, California in front of 160 guests.

PEOPLE also revealed that the newlyweds' first dance as a married couple was a salsa number choreographed by Corbin's Dancing With The Stars partner Karina Smirnoff.

Talking about the big day, 27-year-old Mr Bleu added: "I have to say my favourite part was the feeling that started in my toes and went all the way to the top of my head when Sasha came through the gate to the entrance of our venue and walked down the aisle.

"From the flowing veil in the wind as she walked, to the big smile on her face, it suddenly hit me that this stunning woman that was looking at me was going to marry me and make me the happiest man in the world."

Ms Clements, 26, added that the ceremony was "perfect" and went off without a hitch. "Today was the most perfect day. There is not one thing I would change. Corbin's vows were incredibly beautiful and it was truly the best day of our lives," she told PEOPLE.

Guests enjoyed a family-style Italian dinner, a three-tier cake from Sweet E's bakery, and late night snacks from In-N-Out

Bleu and Clements got engaged in Disney World in October 2014. They first met in a Toronto grocery store in 2011.

High School Musical will always have a special place in our hearts, but it doesn’t look like the same can be said for Zac Efron.

The actor, who declined to appear at the film’s 10th anniversary, recently revealed that he has little time for the actor who played Trey Bolton in the popular film franchise.

Speaking to Men’s Fitness, the 28-year-old actor who has struggled to shed the cheesy HSM image said: ”I step back and look at myself and I still want to kick that guy’s ass sometimes.”

Sounding incredibly reluctant to praise the role which earned him millions of fans, Zac continued: “He’s done some kind of cool things with some cool people, he did that one thing [Neighbours] that was funny, but I mean he’s still just that f*cking kid from High School Musical.”

Really hammering the point home as he reflected on the impact the films have had since the initial release in 2006, the Dirty Grandpa added: “Like, f*ck that guy.”

Well, that’s us told then.

Remember when our little Nokia phones could only hold up to 50 texts and once that limit was reached we had to delete them all? Those were the days…

But, not anymore since every conversation you have can now be screen-grabbed and published to the Internet. It's become quite a popular thing lately, and we have to say that this is one of the funniest exchanges we've seen.

One Irish woman decided to troll her boyfriend by texting him High School Musical lyrics. If you can't remember the song, have a listen:

OK, now here's how the conversation went:

She got him good.

With Game of Thrones and Star Wars both filming here last year, it seems that Ireland is becoming even more popular when it comes to films and TV shows.

And now The Disney Channel wants a piece of the action. The network is currently filming a new musical TV show in Northern Ireland in hopes it will become as popular as High School Musical.

The show titled The Lodge is set in Montalto Estate in County Down but it's also setting its sights on Castlewellan and Tollymore Forest.

David Levine, director of programming for the Disney Channel in the UK and Ireland said: “Northern Ireland has a great production pool and up until now it has been mostly known for swords and dragons.

“Disney Channel is bringing songs and dancing – we have a great, talented cast who can not only act but sing and dance and we have original songs.”

“We’re investing quite a bit, and you have production, post-production, builders, sets and filming in multiple locations here.”

The Lodge will film in Co Down until this summer, with it set to air on Disney in September.

Ten years after its TV debut, Disney Channel has announced that a new movie is in the works.

But it's not any movie, no, it's High School Musical FOUR.

MTV reports that the channel revealed the good news last night, saying that a nationwide cast search has already begun.

But don't get too excited about the original cast. Unfortunately Disney think Zac and the gang are too old for high school now but instead they plan on making it with an all-new cast (sob) and have a Romeo and Juliet/ West Side Story-type vibe.

Basically, this franchise made millions, and Disney is hoping to recreate its magic by getting their heads back in the game

If you're like us, then you totally got excited when you found out there was going to be a High School Musical reunion.

The gang all came together again (well, all except Zac – boooo, Zac), to film special segments that were aired on the Disney Channel during a viewing on the anniversary of the original movie.

But, something even better is the audition tape that was showed during one of the segments.

Zac and Vanessa are super young and cute, and judging by the few lines heard, it's easy to see why they got the parts.

Now, all we need is Ashley Tisdale's audition tape for Sharpey, because let's be honest, she was our fave.

Ah, High School Musical. It was when we first fell in love with Zac Efron and first noticed Vanessa Hudgen's slaying style.

It's been ten years since we listened to the gang sing We're All In This Together, and now they really are all in it together again for a special telecast of the movie to celebrate the anniversary.

Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Luke Grabeel and Monique Coleman all came together to film the special show which will air this month.

And don't worry, Zac Efron will also appear in the telecast, but for now, here's the casts fab Insta's from behind the scenes:

Ah, the High School Musical days. They were the days you could watch a shirtless Zac Efron for days on end and never get bored. And the songs were always good too, no matter how cheesy they were.

Gigi and Bella Hadid seem to think the same as us too because yesterday Gigi posted a Snapchat video of her and her little sis dancing to We're All In This Together. #Memories.

"Currently…" #GigiHadidSnapchat @gigihadid @bellahadid

A video posted by Gigi Hadid (@gigihadidsnapchat) on

But even better than that, Sharpey herself, Ms Ashley Tisdale, saw the snap and decided to tell the girls how much she loves it.

“When you see @GiGiHadid and @bellahadid on snapchat dancing to ‘we’re all in this together’” she tweeted.

It's the best thing ever.

The last time Vanessa Hudgens was in a musical set in high school – creatively called High School Musical – she was the Sandy of the group.

But now the brunette beauty has turned over a new leaf to play the cool gal of the pack.

Vanessa has scored the role of Rizzo for Fox's Grease Live production. And she pulls off the sexy look VERY well.

And as always the girl has got the moves, as seen in the new teaser trailer:

We don't know about you, but we love Ms Hudgens playing the bad girl.

Well, this party was unexpected! The cast of High School Musical were busy over Halloween, planning a reunion that would cause any Disney fan to freak out.

Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu all made their way to the same Halloween party on Saturday night.

And once again the gang all proved they were still best friends as they all posed together in group shots. #SquadGoals.

"The crew at @VanessaHudgens amazing Halloween party last night," HSM dancer Jason Williams wrote on Instagram. "#highschoolMusical #Reunion!!!! #squad #squadgoals #Halloween #hollywood #wildcats."

Ashley donned a queen of hearts outfit on the night, while Vanessa channelled Alice from Alice in Wonderland

Corbin Bleu decided to rock the Lenny Kravitz look and Monique Colemanwent as Donnie from Clueless.

It's good to see that even though it's been nine years since the first High School Musical premiered, the crew all manage to stay in contact.

"I continue to see all the guys from High School," Zac Efron told E! News recently.

"Every time we do…there's just this look between us. It's so cool because we never forget a single moment of that experience."
