First of all, Zac Efron is a human being and can dye his hair absolutely any colour we wants, defying public opinion.

That said, the internet is completely torn over the actor's new 'do, mainly because it's PLATINUM BLONDE. Yes, you heard that right. Like Draco Malfoy-style blonde.

He was everyone's childhood boyfriend after his stint in High School Musical, but it appears fans have become too used to his sweeping brown locks. They've lost their minds at this latest news, literally.

"I might be unstable," says one fan, just so you know that we weren't exaggerating when we said fans had certifiably forgotten their sanity.

Acquaint yourself with the new Zac Efron, while you can. Get your glasses out, and examine it for yourself gals.

Here's the white-haired evidence in all its glory;

See? We never lie to you.

Squint and you can spot him in this Tweet, a 'lil blonde Zac/Draco innocently ignoring all of the fan fever over a hair colour;

The actor is officially a member of the Bleach Blonde Boys Club, and we HAVE to show you fan reactions because they are absolutely hilarious and disturbing at the same time;

The lewk has been sported by Zayn Malik, Ansel Elgort and, em, Pete Davidson, so it's a trend now.

One Twitter user wrote; "Zac Efron dying his hair platinum blonde is something I didn't know that I needed" and we have to agree with her there. Especially with that beard growth.

Another social media member had to use Oprah's face as a reaction, understandably.

"Don't talk to me unless you have more photos of Zac Efron with his blonde hair," another wrote. Amen.

One woman wants the internet to forget about Trump's wall drama in order to focus on what's important; Zac's hairstyle. Logic level 9000;

Some just went straight in with a proposal, which we're not sure we endorse;

Ice blonde really does get a reaction, especially for Zac Efron fans, we have to say.

What do you think of his new Baywatch-style look, Yay-watch or Nay-watch? (We're the only ones laughing at that joke but we don't care)

We all know that the TV and movie industry can be a cut-throat business, so we shouldn't be overly surprised that stars miss out on acting roles because of other people's egos, should we?

But we're still a little stunned to learn that David Hasslehoff, who played Mitch Buchanan in Baywatch, ensured the Oscar-winning actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, didn't secure a role on the world-famous TV show when he was 15.

Having tried out for the role of Hobie – David's on-screen son – Leonardo ultimately failed to secure the role despite the fact the production team were all for it.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, show producer, Michael Berk, said: "We actually had DiCaprio ready to be cast. But David thought he was too old to play his son."

Concerned how he would appear to the show's global audience, David persuaded the team to re-cast for the role, with Michael revealing: "David thought it would make him look older. He had a lot of concerns of that type."

The role in the show, which ran from 1989 to 2001, ultimately went to nine-year-old Jeremy Jackson whose star never really ascended as high as good ol' Leo's.

Jeez David…

Well, Zac Efron was always good, but he's even better these days.

The Hollywood heart throb was spotted filming scenes for the reboot of Baywatch, and he was looking oh-so-fine.

Pictured with bulging biceps, the former Disney star was totally showing off his guns as he wondered around on set.

He then proceeded to mess around on a rope, showing off his toned arms even further.

Zac is playing Matt Brody in the remake of the 90s classic and Dwayne Johnson is taking on the part of Mitch Buchannon. David Hasselhoff also announced this week that he will be making an appearance in the movie.

We're already queuing for our tickets…

Since the news broke that a remake of Baywatch was going to hit our screens, people began to wonder whether David Hasselhoff would make an appearance.

Well you can stop wondering, because it has been confirmed that the Hoff is going back onto the golden shores.

Dwayne Johnson, who is the lead in the new movie, took to his Facebook page to announce the news and spoke to David via videocall.

In the conversation, the Hoff said he was "born ready" to join the movie and he was going to "Rock and Hoff."

We doubt David is going to be prancing around with Dwayne and Zac Efron, but then again, you never know what will come out of this movie.

Baywatch is back, people and we all know what that means.

We're talking red swimsuits, drowning tourists, lot's of sunscreen and of course those infamous slow motion running scenes.

The iconic television series is to be remade into a feature film for 2017 and if the new cast doesn't get you excited then we don't know what will.

So just who is set to don the red suit?

1) Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson

Whoever took on the role as head lifeguard at Malibu Beach was always going to have some big shoes to fill.

David Hasselhoff was iconic in the role but we reckon the Rock is more than capable of donning those red shorts.

2) Zac Efron

What would Baywatch be without a young stud muffin running around to distract all the ladies?

We reckon Zac Efron is perfect casting if only because… abs.

3) Kelly Rohbach

You may recognise model Kelly as the former girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio.

Despite breaking up in the last few weeks, Kelly has loads going for her after landing her first acting gig in Baywatch. Though it seems that Dwayne is already putting the gorgeous model through her paces…

For our #BAYWATCH and the iconic role of "CJ Parker" I had to make sure @kellyrohrbach was… tough.

4) Alexandria Daddario

You may recognise Alexandria from the first series of True Detective where she certainly showed off her assets.

The 29-year-old is set to play a character called Summer in the 2017 film.

5) Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka is reportedly on board to play the villain of the film.

You may recognise the pretty star from her lead role in ABC's top drama series, Quantico.

Well, another lady, another break-up.

Leonardo DiCaprio and model Kelly Rohrbach are no longer an item, People have reported.

The pair, who first got together last summer, apparently split up months ago but hid it from the media. A trusty source told the website that they have remained "friendly and super amicable."

People have also claimed the Leo's work is what's to blame for the split, and reassures us that, "there is no one else in the picture."

But she also has an exciting time ahead of her as she's going to star alongside new-dad, The Rock in the upcoming Baywatch movie.

Pamela Anderson, eat your heart out.

The original blonde bombshell, and the only who matters according to George Hook, is going to be strutting her stuff in the capital this weekend.

We reckon that the trademark red swimsuit may be left back in Malibu once Pamela Anderson realises that our weather is having a bit of a moment. Probably best to not have it get too wet before she auctions the piece off in order to raise funds for her chairty The Pamela Anderson Foundation.

The Hollywood actress is going to be making an appearance on The Ray D’Arcy Show on Saturday night to share some insight into her life and career to date. We’re hoping she may take the time to shed some light on what it was like working with Kanye himself way back when.

Another topic that Pammy is sure to mention will be the recent announcement that she has been cured of Hepatitis C.

The 48-year old broke the news in a rather spectacular style that really only she could pull off.

She shared a picture of herself completely nude having quite the giggle on a yacht with the caption:

"I am CURED!!! – I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment. It will be more available soon. I know treatment is hard to get still…"

For the last 16 years the actress has suffered from the disease. In recent times she had spoken about her desire to find a cure and her hopes that a new drug would be the answer.

She told People magazine: “I'm very fortunate that I've had Hep C for about 16 years. Sixteen years ago that was [presented to me] as a death sentence. I think it really worked on my self-esteem.”

She added that she is lucky she was able to get the treatment she needed that meant she avoided liver damage and many other side effects of the disease.

The former Baywatch star revealed in 2002 that she had contracted Hep C after sharing a needle with ex-husband Tommy Lee. He however denies that he ever had Hep C.

Liverpool native Carolyn Anderson is the ultimate Pammie fan.

So much so that she's spent her entire life trying to look more like the Baywatch star, and she's even got a career as a lookalike in the bag.

Known as the 'Scouse Pammie,' Carolyn estimates she's spent around €27,000 in the last several years to help herself along.

Among the various treatments and procedures are a total of EIGHT boob jobs, regular Botox, teeth straightening, laser teeth whitening, lip tattoos and contacts to make her brown eyes blue.

Not to mention the regular sunbeds, spray tans, hair extensions, facials, chemical skin peels, brow waxing, lash extensions, fake nails and more.

Plus, of course, the clothes – goat hair boots don't come cheap:

But it hasn't all been smooth sailing, as Carolyn admits her first boob job was a bit of a disaster.

"The implants actually ended up exploding when I was on a sunbed and I had to walk around for six months with just one," she explains.

Carolyn's mission to become Liverpool's answer to Pamela Anderson started with a throwaway comment from her dad when she was just ten.

"I said to her, 'You've got a look like Pamela Anderson,'" he dad Billy explains.

"So we got a magazine out and looked and she went 'Oh yeah.' So I suppose I'm the culprit for everything that's happened."

As well as promotion and modelling work, Carolyn does regular event appearances as Scouse Pammie and has appeared on TV, radio and in print. Hear more of her story here:

It's one of the most anticipated reboots of recent years: former Disney star Zac Efron and wrestling legend Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, are teaming up for a big-screen Baywatch movie.

However, it seems not everyone is happy with the project. And that includes the woman who made the show such a huge international success.

Yes, Pamela Anderson, aka CJ Parker, was asked by TMZ what she thought of the remake going ahead, and she candidly replied that the whole thing is simply a BAD idea.

In fact, the now 48-year-old is deeply unhappy that filming is going ahead at all.

"No one appreciates the remakes," the Canadian actress said.

Pam adds that the Nineties was a "simpler, sweeter time" for TV, and that the concept just won't work on the big screen in 2015.

She furthermore confirmed to the website that, despite widespread rumour that she'd be making a cameo, she was never approached by producers in relation to taking on a small role.

Just this week, The Rock, also a producer on the project, told media that the entire Baywatch cast and crew had "all taken great care and steps in making sure that we do it right".

He went on to explain: "We want to make a big movie, a fun movie, a fun beach movie — bring the beach movie back to the world."

Ms Anderson starred in the hit show, which also showcased the talents of David Hasselhoff, from 1992 until 1997.

In what has to be the best movie news of the year, it has been confirmed that Zac Efron will star in the new Baywatch movie.

The High School Musical star is said to be "stoked" to be starring in the new flick along with wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Paramount have been keen to get the 1990's hit TV show remade for years, and now that everything is finalised, production will start in early 2016.

Efron is said to play a rule-flouting youngster who teams up with a straight-laced lifeguard (Jonhson) to save their beach from destruction at the hands of an oil tycoon.

Both actors seem to be pretty excited about the new movie as they bantered on Twitter about it with The Rock joking "someone get my baby oil".

To which Zac replied saying "baby oil for 2 plz".

It's nice to see the new co-stars getting along so well.

Meanwhile, the High School Musical hunk has been extremely busy having  just finished filming for Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates with Adam Devine, Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza, as well as working with Robert De Niro on road trip comedy Dirty Grandpa.

Stop everything. There is going to be a Baywatch film… finally!

The project has apparently been in the works for years with lots of different writers coming on and off board, but it seems things have finally gotten off the ground.

So will the Hoff and Pamela Anderson be re-joining the crew as Mitch and CJ? We hope so, but for now the only confirmed cast member is Dwayne Johson, a.k.a. The Rock, who will take the lead as a hunky lifeguard captain. A strange choice – though he won't look out of place strutting his stuff in those red shorts!

Although the original Baywatch was officially a "drama," the film will be more of a comedy. We can't wait to see how many criminals, natural disasters, drownings, affairs and orphaned runaways they fit into the plot!

Whatever happens, we'll be happy as long as the movie keeps the EPIC theme tune. All together now, "Some people staaand in the darkness…."

It’s called The B-Movie because the producers couldn’t get the rights to the name Baywatch, but nevermind. The film is going to show former Baywatch actors play exaggerated versions of themselves where they are undercover CIA agents using the film as a cover.

Yes, you read that right. CIA agents in the form of Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhof – it’s genius.

In order to cover up its Baywatch origins, director Chris Cotton says there’ll be explosions any time someone mentions Baywatch on-screen to cover it up.

We can’t wait!
