Is there any nostalgic band that isn't getting back together this year? From The Spice Girls and Westlife, to Avril Lavigne and Jojo dropping albums; we now have no idea what year it is.

Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes are somehow relevant again, and we're pure delighted that our pre-teen treasures are making a return.

News has just hit that The Jonas Brothers are making a comeback too, and we genuinely can't handle any more of this.

The band broke up back in 2013 citing "a deep rift within the band" and "creative differences", and the boys went their separate ways to pursue their own careers and love lives.

31-year-old Kevin randomly launched a business career after his E! Reality show Married To Jonas was cancelled, participating in The Celebrity Apprentice.

Now he co-manages the JonasWerner development company, a social media influencer firm The Blu Market and Yood, the food app.

29-year-old Joe is now engaged to Game Of Thrones' Sophie Turner, and is the lead singer of funk-pop group DNCE, of Cake By The Ocean fame.

26-year-old Nick, the youngest JoBro, released two successful solo albums, starred in Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, and got married to Priyanka Chopra. Everyone fell in love with them as a couple.

It seems like Nick did the best out of the lot, we all had a bop to Chains, Close and Jealous. They were absolute CHOONS.

According to Us Weekly sources, the brothers will rise from the ashes like a beautiful phoenix as JONAS.

They've ditched their chastity belts, so they also have to ditch the 'Brothers' and 'The' in the name to prove their serious musician-status. Gas.

Their reunion will reportedly result in new music, their first since 2009's Lines, Vines and Trying Times, tour dates and even a documentary. The band's Christian image must still be garnering fans from somewhere…

Nick has been liking tweets about the reunion, and The FADER noticed that their Instagram account has been reactivatedJONAS have yet to make an official announcement, but we've got our eyes peeled.

Kevin told Us in 2018 that he and his brothers often play music together and this summer, Just Jared reported sightings of the trio working on a project.

Now is the time to follow the lads if Camp Rock changed your adolescence…and the music industry forever. They're giving twenty-somethings what we really want, and we love them for it.

Sea Sessions Surf and Music Festival has managed to get EVEN BIGGER this year; already boasting Norwegian pop sensation Sigrid, Two Door Cinema Club and Clean Bandit as headliners.

The festival takes place in Donegal's Bundoran every year; a uniquely Irish haunt which has sold-out tickets weeks before the festival over the last four years.

Now they've added major names like Jax Jones, The Magician, Wild Youth, Hermitage Green, The Sugarhill Gang with Grandmaster Melle Mel & Scorpio, Le Boom, Jerry Fish, Bitch Falcon, Trojan Sound System, Kormac and Inhaler to the lineup.

The festival has seen major artists grace their stages, like luminaries Dizzee Rascal, Paul Weller, Tinie Tempah, Rudimental, Bastille and Seasick Steve.

It began way back in 2008 as an after-party for a big surfing competition, and now hosts a range of the world's top skateboarders, BMX bikers and beach sporting heroes.

Festival director Ray O’Donoghue couldn't contain his excitement about 2019's eclectic line-up, and we don't blame him.

He said: "We’re delighted with this year’s lineup and with our new additions. We think it is by far our strongest lineup yet! There’s something for everyone there, from Sigrid to The Sugarhill Gang, Two Door Cinema Club to Jax Jones  and everything else in between."

He continued;

"We’ve sold out the last 4 years so we expect this year to be no different. We’ve even got a surprise or two still left up our sleeves. We literally can’t wait until the summer."

The summer festival will take place from June 21 until June 23 in 2019, and early bird tickets have already been snapped up.

Day and weekend tickets are still available now from Ticketmaster outlets, priced at €119.90 for three days non-campsite and €149.90 to include four nights of camping banter.

Limited single day tickets are available from€54.90 + VIP Upgrades for €50, if you head to the Sea Sessions website you can catch them now before they're gone.

Have we all seen THAT insane Harry Styles face tattoo? The one that made everyone gasp out loud and question her sanity and life choices?

Singer Kelsy Karter got the attention she was looking for, but not from Harry himself though. Twitter users were quick to point out that the ink actually resembled Frankie Cocozza far more, but still.

As many of us have guessed, it has now been revealed that the tattoo was all a hoax in order for Kelsy to promote her new single, Harry. Yes, she's that dedicated to promotion.

A post shared by Kelsy Karter (@kelsykarter) on

She's admitted the hoax was all for the sake of Harry Styles noticing her new song about him, and she has dropped a video explaining the whole fraud.

She said she wanted to get the inking to ‘cut through the noise’ and get her music noticed by top music execs, and the general public. Oh, and it's dropped on Harry's 25th birthday.

The New Zealand-born singer elaborated, saying she dedicated the song to the Kiwi artist after going through a rough patch last April;

"My dog Diva died. My relationship ended. And the last thing I wanted to do was write another sad song about it."

A post shared by Kelsy Karter (@kelsykarter) on

Kelsy directed and produced the video for the One Direction hero for only $300, but didn't have the cash to promote the song;

"But how were we going to cut through the noise to get noticed? What would the rock legends that inspired me have done in 2019?" Celebrity tattooist Romeo Lacoste was enlisted for the sake of the tattoo, which was based on Harry's Rolling Stones cover.

The 25-year-old said Romeo traced the image and applied it to her face, and then used a special FX makeup artist.

She added; "‘BTW we know it looked ridiculous. That was the point.I had your attention." We were thinking that Romeo's talented skills needed to be brushed up…

A post shared by (@harry1_styles101) on

Of course, the absurd inking went totally viral. Websites and news sites globally covered the tatt, and everyone was talking about it. TMZ wanted to chat to her, and she even considered reapplying the tattoo.

Because it's Harry's special birthday, Kelsy has made the choice to confess her fib.

"This has always been about rock ‘n’ roll. Harry is an anthem for the fans. The tattoo is gone. All that’s left is the music. Which is what my rockstar team and I had planned all along."

We have to respect her commitment, and the plan is pretty ingenious. The song is also a complete TUNE. We'd love to hear a comment from Harry on the matter though…

Ireland isn't exactly the hotspot for musical talent to visit during the summer, but recently we've been acquiring some absolutely MAJOR acts from around the world.

Some of us may remember the days of Oxygen (Rest in Pieces), but Electric Picnic has taken over as the biggest and most popular festival in the Irish calendar.

Longitude appears to have become the most 'hip-hop' festival in town overnight, who saw that one coming? All the young ones adore it, hence why artists such as Chance the Rapper, Future and AS$P Rocky are headlining it this year.

Oh, and the queen that is CARDI B (gasp)… this will be us when she emerges on stage like the glorious, ghetto peacock that she is:

ultra music festival dancing GIF

Luckily for you, we've decided to do a round-up of EVERYTHING there is to know of 2019's Irish music festivals.

Strap yourselves in, get your raincoat and wellies ready, it's looking like a muddy ride.

God knows why we all live for summer's music gigs, most of us have had our stuff stolen, our tents destroyed and our dignity abandoned, yet we still come crawling back for more. Must be our dedication to the art, or something?

First up: Castlepalooza: May 3 – May 5 2019

Things have been pretty hush hush this year in Castlepalooza-land. So far, no headline acts have been announced and even the early bird tickets aren't on sale yet.

As far as speculation goes, they normally stick to Irish acts such as AllTvvins and The Rubberbandits, so maybe they'll get Dermot Kennedy or Picture This?

We're assuming it's still taking place in Charleville Castle, Tullamore, but they've changed the dates so who knows. All will be revealed.

Life Festival: May 24 – May 26 2019

For #Life19, some major dance players have been given the green light to DJ, including Giggs, Bicep, MK, Nina Kraviz and CamelPhat. Think District 8 but in the woodlands.

The festival is returning to Belvedere House in County Westmeath for a weekend of phenomenal tunes. There are three days, six stages and a jam-packed line-up.

Chill by the lakeside stage for a more relaxed vibe, or hit the District 8 tent and Main Stage for absolute dance mania.

Vantastival: 31 May – June 2 2019

Known as the last real festival for camper vans and 'legit' music lover families, Vantastival is relatively unknown in some circles but a must-see in others.

Taking place in Drogheda, Co. Louth, the festival boasts comedy shows, craft beer, art installations and a kids' camp for families.

The festival gets some unbelievable talent up to play, and the headline acts this year have already been announced.

King Kong Company, David Keenan, Cry Monster Cry, Just Mustard and I'd Fight Gandhi are all hitting the stages this year, it's gonna be a BIG one for their 10th anniversary.

Forbidden Fruit: June 1 – June 3 2019

Forbidden Fruit has been a steadily growing Irish festival for years, with some well-known as well as emerging talent performing DJ sets in the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Kilmainham.

Headliners this year are Mura Masa (INCREDIBLE), Skepta, Elbow, First Aid Kit and Danny Brown. They're spreading out the genres this year, bringing in some new and more alternative names.

Tickets went on-sale back in December, but there are still a few left. We recommend grabbing them before they're gone.

Body&Soul: June 21 – June 23 2019

The arts festival takes place in Ballinlough, Co. Westmeath, and it's celebrating it's 10th run this year.

Previous headliners include Nick Cave, but they have yet to tease 2019's fixtures.

It's a cesspit for creative minds, branding itself as the biggest 'independent' festival in Ireland. They're announcing the line-up very soon, so stay tuned. We're guessing perhaps Christine and the Queens?

Sea Sessions: June 21- June 23 2019

Sea Sessions is well on the rise. The festival is specifically for surfers, and takes place in Bundoran, Co. Donegal for those sea lovers every year.

They've got a STELLAR line-up for 2019: Sigrid (I cried when I saw her, not gonna lie), Clean Bandit and Two Door Cinema Club are the star acts who will blaze up that stage.

This one looks set to be an incredible year, especially if the weather holds up. Tickets are on sale now, but it sells out every year so get on it ASAP.

Longitude – July 5 – July 7 2019

They've just announced some massive names to the chart: Cardi B and Anne-Marie are two unreal additions.

The festival is running from Friday July 5 until Sunday July 7 in Marlay Park, and always gets some pure stunning weather (for once).

The line-ups have DRASTICALLY changed even since 2017, when Mumford & Sons took centre stage. It's all about those rap stars nowadays, who would have thought Irish people would crave the genre so much? Maybe it's just the young wans.

Tickets are back on sale this Friday, February 1 at 9am. Get ready for online mayhem, as Cardi B is sure to attract thousands of eager fans.

All Together Now: August 2 – August 4 2019

The festival takes place in Curraghmore House in County Waterford during the August Bank Holiday, so it's always a sure-fire hit.

American indie band The National are the headliners for this year's take; previous performers include Fleet Foxes, Mura Masa, Villagers and First Aid Kit.

Most of the tickets have already sold-out for this year's festival, but there's always DoneDeal? Camper van tickets are also still available, but not much else except the higher priced ones.

Electric Picnic: August 30 – September 1 2019

So E.P. is ALREADY sold-out, as predicted.

The speculation has begun, seeing as nobody is aware of the line-up as of yet, and we're gonna go ahead and pray that our home-girl ARIANA GRANDE hits the Main Stage. Get your rosary beads out.

Last year saw N.E.R.D, Kendrick Lamar and The Prodigy hit the stage as headliners, and Sigrid and Dua Lipa absolutely smashed it during their performances. We'd love to see those gals return with new albums under their belts.

There you are, gals. The ULTIMATE Irish music festival round-up for 2019…so far. We're tingling with excitement already at the thought of sneaking in all those naggins/cans/wine bottles/shoulders/litres/whatever the kids drink nowadays.

Now all we need is the funds to afford any/all of these amazing gigs. Maybe we could sneak in?

Chris Brown has attracted more drama with his latest stunt, following weeks of media attention.

The singer has launched a line of t-shirts with the tagline 'This B*tch Lyin' after he was released without charge following a rape accusation in Paris last week.

He was arrested after a horrific rape allegation was made against him and his bodyguard, and spent 24 hours in custody after a woman claimed she was raped four times in his hotel room.

It appears he has now turned to gloat by selling t-shirts with his slogan, which he wrote on his Instagram following his release.

The alleged victim revealed so-called 'details' of what she described as a violent assault. Identified only as 'Karima', the accuser said the R&B singer assaulted her in his hotel, and then his entourage members continued the attack.

After being questioned by police, Brown was released from custody without any charge, but an investigation is still ongoing. Brown filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman and is seeking criminal action.

It looks like we're FINALLY getting some updates on Bad Gal Riri's forthcoming album, after R&B legend The Dream revealed some details in an all-encompassing interview.

It's been almost three years since her last work, 2016's ANTI, and since then Rihanna has taken on world domination through fashion and cosmetics.

Savage x Fenty and Fenty Beauty have been hugely successful, and we thank her for those gems, but now we need the TUNES to match, mmkay?

Fans have been waiting a long time to hear more music from the iconic singer, and her newest record is "about done", according to The Dream. The singer has worked closely with Rihanna since 2007.

When asked about the versatile artists' newest work, he said; "She’s cooking, she’s about done. She’s about done. Super close." TAKE IT OUT OF THE OVEN.

He flat out refused to give any more details about the Disturbia hitmaker's album, but also teased that Beyoncé is "doing something" in the studio. Praise the Lawd, the Queens are returning to their thrones.

Speaking in an interview with Ebro Darden, he said: “I actually haven’t talked to her about it – I’ve talked to the team about it because it’s kind of just being coordinated. But she’s doing something."

RiRi recently joked to her fans that her internet connection was too poor to answer their questions about her album, though many are saying her ninth studio album is close to being finished.

The singer posted a video to her Instagram Stories which featured her waving a wad of cash, smiling and blowing a kiss to the camera, with the caption, '"Fans: "Where the album?" Me: sorry my connection poor."

Kuk Harrell, who worked with the star on ANTI, and co-wrote songs such as Umbrella and Only Girl (In the World), recently responded to one of the singer’s fans who asked about the album, saying;

"R9 is great. R9 is amazing. It’s incredible, And that’s all I’m going to say." Obviously it's amazing, but we need it NOW.

There have been zero announcements yet on a release date, but we'll be patient for Bad Gal RiRi.

Why? Well, because she's a (stunning) size eight.

Who knew that Kris Jenner was the queen of ad-libbing?

The Kardashian momager is a key cameo in Ariana Grande's iconic noughties-inspired Thank U, Next music video, and the blooper reel has just been gifted to us and all we can say is; God is a Woman.

That woman is Kris.

Blooper reels are undeniably traditional when it comes to 1990s romantic comedies, and Ari has also bequeathed the audience with a WHOLE DELETED SCENE from the Legally Blonde aspect of the video.

thank you next legally blonde GIF by Ariana Grande

The "I'm taking the f*cking dog" scene from the renowned Reese Witherspoon flick features Ari masquerading as Jennifer Coolidge's lawyer while confronting her ex-boyfriend.

Troye Sivan getting smashed into a locker multiple times also features ("she's gonna f*cking slam me, I just know it"), not to mention a GAS moment where Miranda Sings' water breaks while Ari (AKA Regina George) walks past her.

The funniest part HAS to be Kris Jenner getting a little too into her cameo role as Regina George's mom.

While in the audience recording her beloved 'daughter' performing the song, Jenner whispers to the woman beside her;

“When I was raising Ariana I always told her that if a guy ever f*cks with her, she should just say "thank u, next." I told her … if she ever had sex without a condom, she’d get chlamydia and die.”

Wow, now THAT is called good acting.

As well as Mean Girls and Legally Blonde, the acclaimed video also paid tribute to Bring It On and 13 Going On 30.
