Actress Selma Blair has made her first red carpet appearance prior to the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty following her Multiple Sclerosis (MS) diagnosis.

The 46-year-old actress wore a colourful green, pink, black and blue dress while carrying a custom embroidered cane to support her movement at the exclusive bash, and it brought her to tears.

Best known for her performances in HellboyCruel Intentions and Legally Blonde, she looked absolutely radiant while wearing an ethereal dress made by fashion house Ralph and Russo.

The matching cape, choker necklace and black cane made her overall look truly stunning, but it was the emotion behind her cane that had audiences turning heads. She praised her friends for having created the stick for her.

She shared a picture of her friend making the gorgeous cane on Instagram, writing: "This is love. How did I get so lucky?"

"I wanted a special cane for Vanity Fair dinner. So… David Lyon went out and found patent leather and @bic_owen and he stitched it on. Hours of love put in. And then Tom Bachick made it especially magical. I burst into tears. These gifts to get me through. I can't thank these three enough. There are angels."

The film star revealed on Instagram in October that she'd been diagnosed with the debilitating disease last August, but had been experiencing symptoms for 15 years prior.

"I have MS and I am ok. But if you see me , dropping crap all over the street, feel free to help me pick it up. It takes a whole day for me alone. Thank you and may we all know good days amongst the challenges."

She continued; "I am disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken gps. But we are doing it."

I was in this wardrobe fitting two days ago. And I am in the deepest gratitude. So profound, it is, I have decided to share. The brilliant costumer #Allisaswanson not only designs the pieces #harperglass will wear on this new #Netflix show , but she carefully gets my legs in my pants, pulls my tops over my head, buttons my coats and offers her shoulder to steady myself. I have #multiplesclerosis . I am in an exacerbation. By the grace of the lord, and will power and the understanding producers at Netflix , I have a job. A wonderful job. I am disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken gps. But we are doing it . And I laugh and I don’t know exactly what I will do precisely but I will do my best. Since my diagnosis at ten thirty pm on The night of August 16, I have had love and support from my friends , especially @jaime_king @sarahmgellar @realfreddieprinze @tarasubkoff . My producers #noreenhalpern who assured me that everyone has something. #chrisregina #aaronmartin and every crew member… thank you. I am in the thick of it but I hope to give some hope to others. And even to myself. You can’t get help unless you ask. It can be overwhelming in the beginning. You want to sleep. You always want to sleep. So I don’t have answers. You see, I want to sleep. But I am a forthcoming person and I want my life to be full somehow. I want to play with my son again. I want to walk down the street and ride my horse. I have MS and I am ok. But if you see me , dropping crap all over the street, feel free to help me pick it up. It takes a whole day for me alone. Thank you and may we all know good days amongst the challenges. And the biggest thanks to @elizberkley who forced me to see her brother #drjasonberkley who gave me this diagnosis after finding lesions on that mri. I have had symptoms for years but was never taken seriously until I fell down in front of him trying to sort out what I thought was a pinched nerve. I have probably had this incurable disease for 15 years at least. And I am relieved to at least know. And share.  my instagram family… you know who you are.

MS can affect the brain and spinal cord, leading to problems with vision, muscle spasms and fatigue. The actress appeared visibly emotional last night as she made her way across the red carpet at the annual Vanity Fair soirée.

"It took a lot to come out here," she said, as the photographers cheered her. "When my life flashes before my eyes, I want this portrait by Mark Seliger to be front and centre," the 46-year-old as the caption to the gorgeous image.

Twitter fans have expressed huge admiration for Blair, for her raising vital awareness for MS in the entertainment industry. What a warrior, we love her lewk and that cane makes it even more special.

Who knew that Kris Jenner was the queen of ad-libbing?

The Kardashian momager is a key cameo in Ariana Grande's iconic noughties-inspired Thank U, Next music video, and the blooper reel has just been gifted to us and all we can say is; God is a Woman.

That woman is Kris.

Blooper reels are undeniably traditional when it comes to 1990s romantic comedies, and Ari has also bequeathed the audience with a WHOLE DELETED SCENE from the Legally Blonde aspect of the video.

The "I'm taking the f*cking dog" scene from the renowned Reese Witherspoon flick features Ari masquerading as Jennifer Coolidge's lawyer while confronting her ex-boyfriend.

Troye Sivan getting smashed into a locker multiple times also features ("she's gonna f*cking slam me, I just know it"), not to mention a GAS moment where Miranda Sings' water breaks while Ari (AKA Regina George) walks past her.

The funniest part HAS to be Kris Jenner getting a little too into her cameo role as Regina George's mom.

While in the audience recording her beloved 'daughter' performing the song, Jenner whispers to the woman beside her;

“When I was raising Ariana I always told her that if a guy ever f*cks with her, she should just say "thank u, next." I told her … if she ever had sex without a condom, she’d get chlamydia and die.”

Wow, now THAT is called good acting.

As well as Mean Girls and Legally Blonde, the acclaimed video also paid tribute to Bring It On and 13 Going On 30.

Ariana Grande is gearing up to release her second music video for the anthem Thank u, Next.

The singer has been dropping hints about the video since she began filming – giving us serious 00s nostalgia.

Ariana has posted a series of snaps dressed up as Regina George, holding Burn Book, and with actor Jonathan Bennett who played Aaron Samuels in the cult flick.

This culmination of references led fans to believe the video was Mean Girls focused, however, a behind the scenes video released by Ari shows that there were a few films which will receive homage in Thank u, Next 2.0.

The behind the scenes shows recreated scenes from Bring It On, Legally Blonde and 13 Going On 30.

Ariana is starring alongside actors from the original films in the upcoming videos, including Jennifer Coolidge and Stefanie Drummond (yup, army pants and flip flops girl).

We cannot WAIT for the actual video to drop today:

So, we can all agree that Legally Blonde is one of the greatest feel-good movies of all time, right? (don't fight us on this)

It's been 16 years since Reese Witherspoon brought the naive, yet oh-so determined Elle Woods to life, and while the film remains a must-watch for any girly night in, it looks like her character's legacy lives on in more ways than one.

For those of you who haven't seen this 00's classic, it tells the story of a heartbroken girl who decided to go to law school in order to win back her ex-boyfriend.

Sure, the motivation may not have come from the right place, but hey, she made it into Harvard Law School and that's more than most of us can say.

And it seems that Elle's grit and determination struck a chord with many aspiring female lawyers, as Reese Witherspoon recently revealed she is constantly being approached by women who say they it was that film that inspired them to go to university.

Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, the actress said: “At least once a week I have a woman come up to me and say, ‘I went to law school because of [the film].'”

Bend and snap, girls!

A masterpiece of rom-com cinema, Legally Blonde is a modern classic, and i'm prepared to fight anyone who says otherwise.

Back in 2001, Elle Woods captured our hearts by teaching us to follow our dreams wherever they make take us, and exactly how to grab the attention of our object of affection (the bend and snap is foolproof).

After being dumped by her boyfriend for being too 'blonde', a determined Elle decides to prove him wrong by hitting the books and applying for Harvard Law School.

What follows is a truly magical journey of one woman's self-discovery, proving that anything is possible if you your mind to it.

The final scenes provided us with one of the most iconic graduation speeches of all time, however it seems the feel-good ending was actually somewhat of an after-thought.

According to reports, Karen McCullah, the film's co-writer, revealed that the cult movie almost went with a completely different ending.

"Originally it ended at the courthouse right after the trial," she told Entertainment Weekly.

"Everyone was congratulating Elle, and Emmett came up and gave her a big kiss.

"Then there was a tag where it was a year in the future and she and Vivian, who was now blonde, had started the Blonde Legal Defense Fund and they were in the quad handing out pamphlets."

She goes on to explain how the test-screen audience were less than impressed with the lacklustre ending, prompting creators to add what is now considered to be one of the film's best scenes.

"The test-screening audience didn't feel like it was an exciting enough ending for her, success-wise. The kiss made it seem like it was a rom-com," McCullah said.

The film's other writer Kirsten 'Kiwi' Smith added: "They knew that this was not a movie about a girl getting a guy."

So, as the story goes, the crew and cast had to rush-shoot a new ending in London, and Reese Witherspoon even had to wear a wig after she had already chopped all her hair off for an upcoming role.

It was a bit chaotic, but oh boy are we glad they did it.

Legally Blonde is an iconic noughties film, and frankly, we'd be lost without the bend and snap.

Elle Woods is one of our favourite movie characters ever, and her quirky and hidden intelligence make us love her even more.

One thing in particular that fascinated us about Reese Witherspoon's portrayal of Elle was the amazingly funky wardrobe Elle possessed.

Well, clearly Reese was a fan of the Legally Blonde wardrobe too, as she kept quite a few pieces from the movie,

Taking to Snapchat, Reese showed off her LB wardrobe to fans, and ever tried on a few of the items, 16 years later.

From the fluffy bunny slippers to Elle's date night dress, we got seriously nostalgic.

Twitter user Alison screengrabbed the iconic snaps and shared them to Twitter, where they have now been liked almost 40,000 times.

We now hav a hankering to spend our Saturday binge watching the Legally Blonde flicks…

A girly movie marathon isn't complete without at least suggesting that a Legally Blonde movie gets watched.

The pinnacle of noughties feel good flicks, Elle Woods captured our hearts, taught us to follow our dreams wherever they make take us (like to Harvard Law school) and exactly how to grab the attention of our object of attention (the bend and snap is foolproof).

The 2001 original and it's 2003 sequel are complete classics, so any notions that we're getting a further instalment is good news to us.

Luckily, Reese Witherspoon is definitely up for dusting off Elle Woods' head to toe pink ensembles.

"We've thought about it. I need somebody really clever to come up with a great idea, and we'll do it," Reese Witherspoon told E! News.

"I do think it's a good time to do it. I think women need that kind of positivity right now."

We better all get brainstorming, people!

The Queen of Harvard Law, Elle Woods, could be making a return to our screens sooner than you think.

Reese Witherspoon hosted a Facebook live session this week, where she opened up about her career and discussed  some of her favourite moments.

The Oscar nominated beauty couldn't help but gush about the time she spent on the set of the Legally Blonde movies.

Part of the live session was a Q&A, where Reese responded to questions submitted by fans.

When asked about the possibility of a new Legally Blonde, Reese said the following:

"A lot of people have asked me if we're going to make another Legally Blonde, and we're thinking about it."

REJOICE!

While nothing is set in stone, it is clear that there is a pretty solid possibility of seeing more from our favourite blonde lawyer.

This is not the first time Reese has talked about making a third film, in 2015 she admitted she thinks the "world is ready" for a Legally Blonde 3.

WE ARE SO READY!

Bruiser was realistically the breakout star of the Legally Blonde films.

Not only did he capture our hearts as Reece Witherspoon's pampered pooch, but his presence essentially serves the entire plot of the second film.

Remember Bruiser's Bill, people? That was a moment of cinematic magic.

The super-cute Chihuahua was played by the adorable Moonie who apparently made it to a whopping 18-years-old but sadly passed away this week.

The news was confirmed by Reece who posted a tribute to her co-star on Instagram.

"With a sad heart, I have to let all the Legally Blonde fans know that Bruiser Woods (also known as Moonie) passed away yesterday," read the caption of the post.

"He was a sweet little Chihuahua who was very loved. I will never forget all the days we spent together … I'm sure his tail is wagging in the sky #RIPBruiser."

Pass us a tissue, quick.

Moonie's trainer and owner also took to Instagram to pay an emotional tribute to the pet.

"On this day, I give you one of the greatest little dogs…

"Moonie of Legally Blonde fame. I'm sad to say that this morning in Los Angeles he left us. He was a whopping 18 years old.

"I remember the day I brought him home as a puppy."

Meanwhile, fans of the films took to social media to remember the pooch:
