One of the most exciting beauty collaborations of the year is almost here, but it's not exactly garnering the positive attention they hoped for…

KKW Beauty and Canadian Victoria's Secret model Winnie Harlow have joined forces, with brand founder Kim Kardashian announcing the news in an Instagram post yesterday.

The model and beauty mogul looked eerily similar in the campaign shots, sporting sky-high ponytails and matching makeup looks. The collab is set to launch next week, but some people aren't happy.

Kim shared in a caption; "I'm so excited to announce my new KKW x WINNIE Collab!" The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star added that Harlow is "the definition of a true beauty."

The collaboration is set to launch on September 13 and will feature a 12-pan eyeshadow palette, a highlighter duo and three glosses (for an extortionate amount of cash).

The criticism underneath West's posts was mainly targeting Harlow for her disparaging comments about Duckie Thot and Tyra Banks in the past.

The model referred to Duckie Thot's natural hair as "cauliflower ass head", after Thot spoke out about her struggle to reveal her natural hair on Australia's Next Top Model.

Harlow was also a contestant on America's Next Top Model, and recently became Victoria's Secret's first model with vitiligo. Thot has landed multiple high-end campaigns, including with Fenty Beauty.

"Thought I was the only who was not a Winnie fan until I read the comments," wrote one commenter. "But people change and grow and evolve. So maybe her attitude is better but she won't get my money."

The KKW x Winnie palette also drew comparison to Lunar Beauty's Greek Goddess Colour Palette, which launched late last year. Time will tell whether the collection will be worth the money.

KKW Beauty's KKW x Winnie Harlow Collection Bundle is priced at €101.50 in total ($112) and will be available from September 13 at KKWBeauty.com

Victoria's Secret have hired their first out transgender model, only one year on from Ed Razek's controversial transphobic comments about the brand's annual fashion show.

The VS Angels have added Valentina Sampaio to their roster, making the model the brand's first out VS Angel. Sampaio announced the news to her Instagram followers, and her agent confirmed it with CNN.

Sampaio is already a spokesperson for L'Oréal, and was the first out transgender woman to feature on the cover of Vogue. She appeared on the cover of Vogue Paris in March 2017 with the issue covering transgender beauty.

She later covered Vogue Brazil and Vogue Germany in the same year as well as appearing on ELLE Brazil's cover in 2016. Trans inclusivity was once again the subject, with ELLE being ahead of the curve,

Sampaio broke the news last week on her Instagram, posting a photo of her backstage during a Victoria's Secret campaign. She captioned the photo; "Backstage chick" and tagged VS Pink.

The stunning model's agent, Erio Zanon, confirmed that the lingerie brand hired Valentina to be part of a campaign for the PINK line, which will be released in mid-August.

Many of us will recall Ed Razek, the chief marketing officer for Victoria's Secret's parent company, L Brands. The exec made controversial comments about plus size women and transgender models during an interview with Vogue last year.

Razek commented that Victoria's Secret had chosen not to include diverse women in the show, in terms of body physique and genders.

"Do I think about diversity? Yes. Does the brand think about diversity? Yes. Do we offer larger sizes? Yes," Razek told the magazine.

"It's like, why doesn't your show do this? Shouldn't you have transsexuals in the show? No. No, I don't think we should. Well, why not? Because the show is a fantasy. It's a 42-minute entertainment special."

Razek later apologised and retracted his comments, and his official statement was posted on Victoria's Secret's Twitter account:

"My remark regarding the inclusion of transgender models in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show came across as insensitive," Razek wrote.

"I apologise. To be clear, we absolutely would cast a transgender model for the show. We've had transgender models come to castings…and like many others, they didn't make it…But it was never about gender. I admire and respect their journey to embrace who they really are."

Well, the rumour mill has been turning about this relationship ever since A Star is Born was released, and now it's finally confirmed: Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper have gone their separate ways.

The supermodel and A-list Hollywood actor have called it quits after over four years together, according to People.

The pair welcomed their first child together back in March of 2017, a little girl named Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper. They started dating in 2015, and have been rocked with break-up rumours for months.

The former couple were spotted attending a Broadway show together four years ago, and paparazzi caught them getting handsy in public later on.

By September, the stars had exchanged 'I love you's and were meeting the other person's families. At the time, an insider revealed: "They both want kids one day and that's been discussed between them."

Bradley and Irina walked their first red carpet as a couple in 2016, and made their romance Instagram official.

Only months later, the 33-year-old Russian model debuted her baby bump on the runway of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

After their baby girl was born, Bradley and Irina grew closer and embraced parenthood as they split their time between London, New York and Los Angeles.

In a recent interview with NPR, the 44-year-old spoke out about being a dad:

"I guess having a child, and having a family of my own—which is a miracle and something I've always dreamt of—has opened me up even more, I guess, to the day, and to be present," the actor explained.

The famous duo have faced weeks of reports about their relationship after Bradley and Lady Gaga's intimate Oscars performance of Shallow.

Gaga herself had to slam the speculation during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. Speaking about their chemistry, the singer said;  "I'm an artist, and I guess Bradley and I did a good job. And, fooled you."

A source told E! News that the break-up has been coming for a while;

"They've spent time apart to test the waters and see if they are better off. They have a lot invested and it's very difficult to completely walk away from. They are trying out different arrangements and trying to find their way.

"They love their little girl dearly and that's not going to change no matter what."

EVERYONE deserves someone who looks at you the way Lady Gaga looks at Bradley Cooper, okay? Everyone. It's so pure.

The multi-talented songstress won Best Original Song for Shallow, the leading tune from A Star Is Born starring Gaga and Cooper as a musical duo who fall in love.

The world was waiting for their performance at the Dolby theatre last night, and it certainly lived up to its expectations.

We're all shooketh, just look at how intimate this performance is. Most definitely Oscar-worthy, and Gaga's speech for Best Original Song blew the audience away.

"I want to thank my family, my mum, my sister I love you, Bradley," she cried on stage.

"This is hard work…but if you have a dream, fight for it. It's not about how many times you get rejected, or fall down or get beaten up. it's about how many times you stand, are brave and keep on going."

YAS GAGA.

The reaction from both the celebs in the audience and Twitter was hilarious, with the world having an emotional meltdown at just how perfect she is as a performer. She deserves this recognition.

The chemistry between the duo, who play Ally and Jackson Maine in the Cooper-directed fim, is palpable on stage and on screen. Fans desperately want their love to succeed in real life too…

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Victoria's Secret model Irina Shayk, Bradley Cooper's baby mama and partner, had sat herself between Gaga and Bradley. Strategic much?

(*Break up with your girlfriend, I'm bored* plays softly in the background…)

Jennifer Hudson certainly was vibin' with Gaga's speech, which was uplifting as predicted. The star has only just broken off her engagement to former talent manager Christian Carino.

Her $400,000 pink diamand ring was nowhere in sight, unfortunately. Congrats Gaga, we heart you for all that you do, carry on gal.

Victoria's Secret have been at the forefront of a debate on body diversity in recent weeks.

The spotlight focused squarely on the brand, after comments made by creative director Ed Razek, who said they weren't willing to cast plus-size or transgender models in this year's show in order to maintain the 'fantasy' aspect of the show.

Victoria's Secret later said that they were perfectly happy to cast a transgender model in the show, and that transgender individuals were always welcome to come to castings, but that it just hadn't happened yet. A few weeks after the scandal, the show aired on December 2nd – to it's lowest ratings ever.

According to Entertainment Weekly, it garnered 3.3 million viewers for the 2018 show.

This is compared to 5 million last year, an almost 25% drop.

However, the show's views have dropped steadily in the past few years, so it is unclear whether this is due to a boycott following Razek's comments.

Another aspect that could contribute is the fact that there was a heavy saturation of sneak peeks at the show via social media.

In previous years, the final show was a well guarded secret, with looks from the show being kept under wraps until the airing – however with the likes of Instagram models who walk in the show and attendees alike are able to share snippets of the show weeks ahead of the air date.

Victorias Secret came under fire recently for comments made by Ed Razek, chief marketing officer of L Brands (VS's parent company).

In case you missed them, he said:  "Do I think about diversity? Yes. Does the brand think about diversity? Yes. Do we offer larger sizes? Yes….'

'Shouldn’t you have transsexuals in the show? No. No, I don’t think we should. Well, why not? Because the show is a fantasy.'

Obviously, these comments were seen as offensive to trans and plus size communities – and now women of all shapes and sizes are proving that fantasy is not one size fits all.

Romee Strijd is one of our favourite Victorias Secret Angels.

Unlike most models, the statuesque blonde also manages and creates content for her own successful self titled YouTube channel, which boasts over 717,000 subscribers.

Romee's most recent vlog has us seriously excited, as the model is showcasing to the world what it's really like to walk in one of the most-watched fashion events in the world.

Her vlog kicks off with a flurry of pink carpet outfit fittings, press announcements and bag packing to jet to Vegas after the show.

Most of us probably assume that the VS angels are completely fearless when it comes to the show, but as it turns out, Romee has a whole category of worries none of us would ever have considered.

Speaking about being chosen to wear the coveted Swarovski outfit, the Amsterdam native said: 'Im honoured. It has over 120k crystals, but the wings are super, super, SUPER heavy though. That's why I'm a little scared for it, because the heels are also super super high.'

However, with her boyfriends flying in to support her, Romee is extremely excited despite her apprehensions.

She brings her vlogging camra backstage and showcases the process of getting ready for the event – from nails to final fittings to donning wings. The chosen nail shade for the show is a pale pink, and right after her manicure Romee looses her voice completely.

The vlogging camera then captured Romee talking about something we never ever knew, and we were pretty shook.

When we think of the VS Fashion Show, we think one one massive, blow out catwalk show, but actually, the show happens TWICE and then the best walks and performances of the show are edited together into one – the TV special the public sees on December 2nd.

Romee shows herself getting ready for both shows, as a number of backstage stylists help her get into her lace-up shoes.

The model also took her camera onto the pink carpet and into the after party – where things got lit.

In true supermodel style, Romee nursed her hangover with a pot of porridge on a private jet (casual) trip to Vegas.

Rap R&B sensation the Weeknd is apparently being sued for trademark infringement over his alter ego 'Starboy' by a comic book writer who claims to have created the character back in 2014.

TMZ and The Blast are reporting that writer Eymun Talasazan came up with the concept for a series of comic books focusing on superhero rap and R&B artists, and that he was in touch with representatives of the Weeknd regarding a possible collaboration.

This alleged collaboration never actually took place, after nothing came of the 2017 talks, but the Starboy character was then used for the Weeknd's infamous album last year.

The singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has yet to comment on the issue.

The Marvel graphic novel The Weeknd Presents: Starboy is "near identical" to Eymun Talasazan's idea which he supposedly pitched to the Weeknd's representatives, according to reports.

Talasazan claims to have been creating a whole world surrounding the Starboy comic persona in 2015, dedicated to R&B superheroes.

TMZ recently wrote that Daft Punk and the Weeknd have already faced a €5 million lawsuit over reports of plagiarism on the track 'Starboy' by a songwriter named Yasminah.

She claims her song 'Hooyo', released back in 2009, shares some of the same elements as Daft Punk's offering.

It seems the song, which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, is causing plenty of scandal as well as success.

28-year-old Tesfaye, who is currently dating supermodel Bella Hadid, has just moved in with his Victoria's Secret sweetheart.

When we envision the life of a Victoria's Secret angle, we picture the run up to show as a carousel of gruelling workouts, manic press appearances, skin prep and grumbling stomachs.

While it certainly is a flurry of fittings, VS veteran Romee Strijd, from Amsterdam, has picked up her vlogging camera to document the week ahead of the show.

Uploading the vlog to her self-titled YouTube channel, where she boasts a following of 650,000, the model showcased what the days before the show looked like, and how an angel prepares for her winged moment in the spotlight.

Of course VS models are known for their slim, toned and ab-centric physiques, and while Romee self describes as skinny, she's definitely committed to her fitness ahead of the show. Most days during her vlogging, she hit the gym twice a day for one hour each time to do focused workouts.

She attended her personal training at The Dogpound, one of New York's most renowned gyms for 7am work out sessions each morning.

The Dogpound describe themselves as an 'exclusive yet unpretentious community of influential professionals who lead an innovative, wellness focused lifestyle,' so yeah, not intimidating at all.

'I like to work out before work because after work I am so tired so then at least I have my workout done for the day,' Romee quipped, though she did squeeze in evening resistance training most nights. She also did a session of EMS training – a method where a machine delivers electrical pulses that stimulate muscle contraction during a workout for that extra burn.

We have to admire Romee for her gym commitment – it's a well known fact that VS models train like athletes in the lead up to the show so we can only imagine how tough it must be to remain so disciplined when it comes to fitness.

As for her menu for the week leading up, the model kicked off her metabolism each day with a potion of hot water with lemon and apple cider vinegar.

She then followed this with two breakfasts – first a protein shake or smoothie before her workouts, then second breakfast of oatmeal.

Her regular oatmeal recipe saw the grain topped with blueberries and almonds. The Amsterdam native also imparted the importance of upping her protein while training for the show, and incorporated a swirl of vegan chocolate protein powder and a tablespoon of peanut butter into her oats – and to be fair it looked delicious.

YouTube / Romee Strijd

Romee also gave her vlog followers a sneak peek at her weekly grocery shop – she admitted that she loves eating out so meal prepping is her only option to stay on track. She also admitted to eating at least one avocado per day.

The shop consisted of standard healthy fruit and veg including Brussels sprouts, aubergine, lean meats and good-fat-filled salmon.

For snacks, Romee opted for carrots and hummus and salted seaweed packs. Not a crisp or dairy product to be seen. In fact, it looks like the model avoids dairy all together, choosing almond milk for her coffee and oatmeal.

In her meal prep containers, the model devoured a small portion of brown rice, chicken or salmon, and a huge helping of hearty vegetables like carrots, sugarsnap peas and butternut squash.

Romee did admit that she was getting pretty bored of her meal prepped foods, but incorporated some zesty ginger shots mid-week after feeling like she was coming down with a cold.

Ginger has been cited as giving glowing properties to the skin, but Romee's pre-show skincare routine more glitters than glows.

Three days before the show, the angel opted for a Mimi Luzon 24K Pure Gold Treatment in the skincare specialists New York branch.

The treatment is known to lift and plump the skin, even out discolouration and add a glow. If you want in on the action yourself, you can order a one-off 24K Gold Mask from Barneys New York for a cool, €309.91.

As well as rubbing gold leaf into her face, the model and co-angel Jasmine Stokes enjoy the ambiance of a salt room to help keep their skin clear.

This was a completely new concept to us, but apparently natural salt caves have been keeping the skin of Eastern European natives clear since the 1830s. You dont find too many natural salt caves in NYC, so Romee opts for a man made one. All you have to do is sit back and relax for 40 minutes while the salt laden air does it's thing.

According to the Salt Therapy Association: 'The properties of dry salt also absorb impurities and provide anti-bacterial properties that benefit the skin such as acne, psoriasis and eczema as well as regulates the skin's micro-circulation.'

'The smaller particles can reach beneath the skin’s surface and absorb moisture towards the skin. The larger salt particles land on the skin and absorb any bacterial and foreign substances.'The dry salt accelerates cell rejuvenation and improves skin rigidity.'

Romee admits that the skin therapy literally makes you salty – licking her arm to demonstrate.

Dublin has it's very own salt therapy cave in Clontarf if you're interested in giving the process a whirl.

Kendall Jenner is facing a bit of backlash (and has been turned into a meme) after a video of her walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2018 was leaked.

The video shows Kendall's rather lacklustre runway walk as she saunters towards the flashing cameras at the end of the runway.

'I do a better walk than her when I’m walking to my fridge' the cutting tweet reads.

Kendall Jenner was the highest-paid model in 2017, surpassing the legendary supermodel Gisele Bündchen.Kendall reportedly earned a staggering €18.7 million in 2017 thanks to her campaign coups and her social media endorsement deals.

She has appeared on the Victoria's Secret runway previously, with some of her poses being descried as 'awkward' by viewers of the show.

Kendall is clearly a gorgeous woman, with model looks for days, but many of her critics feel that she may have only been as successful as she is based on her surname.

Looks are simply not enough to make it in modelling, with the elusive 'It Factor' being a requirement.

We can't comment on the calibre of Kendall's runway work, but we would LOVE for Miss J. Alexander to weigh in…

PROTECT HER AT ALL COSTS.

While performing her part of the song, Jade was overcome with emotion and needed the help of the audience to continue:

"Once upon a time we had it all; Somewhere down the line we went and lost it; One brick at a time we watched it fall; I’m broken here tonight and darling, no one else can fix me; Only you, only you"

Thirlwall later joked that she was in need of hot water and lemon, as well as some "tissues for her issues". The crowd managed to nail all of the the track's ad libs, they are truly some of the most supportive fans in the world.

They're just like us, these gals. There has been much fan speculation regarding the reason for Jade's tears, with one group insinuating that it may involve her boyfriend, Jed Elliot, who is currently on a US tour with his own band.

The pair have often spoken about the strain of long distance relationships, and Jade as been unable to see her boyfriend due to the Little Mix promotional tour for their fifth studio album.

Elliot, who has dated Thirlwall since 2015, recently performed at the Victoria's Secret fashion show and joked about bringing his manager as a date, seeing as his girlfriend could not attend:

"It’s been a bit sh*t not seeing each other I must admit. We hardly ever see each other as he’s signed in the US and I’m always on tour, but we fly to see each other as much as possible."

Jade's schedule must be jam-packed, seeing as the girlband have gone from strength to strength in the last few years. They have recently stated in an interview with Apple Music that their next collaboration goal is none other than Ari Grande, who replied with a classic "i love u ladies":

Girl power really just warms our cold hearts.
