In a world of swiping left or right on potential baes, blind dating isn't usually on our radars. We need to have a creep on their Facebook before agreeing to meet.

However, the original TV dating show Blind Date is about to bring the trend back, as the show is set to return after 13 years off-air.

Channel 5 is taking over the show, not ITV, and is rebooting it for a modern audience.

The show format follows three potential love interests who are all asked questions by a member of their gender of interest, who hears their answers through a screen without seeing them.

Based on their personalities and answers alone, the pursuer of love makes his or her choice about which potential date is for them.

"Blind Date is the original dating show and it’s huge news to bring it back," an insider told The Sun.

"It’s a classic format that will be rebooted to make it young, sexy and modern. Expect sparks to fly.

"In an age of Tinder, you have got to earn the right to love on this show".

The late Cilla Black was an absolute Blind Date icon, and lined up to potentially take on her hosting position are Vicky Pattinson, Olly Murs and Scarlett Moffatt.

The show is set to return some time this year.

The sooner the better, if you ask us!

After what felt like the longest pregnancy in history, Stephanie Davis finally gave birth to her little boy Caben-Albi on January 13.

The alleged father of the child, Irish model Jeremy McConnell, has spoken out about Stephanie's actions since the birth after a dramatic and turbulent nine months, and has undergone a DNA test on live TV.

The Irish model and former Mr. Ireland underwent the DNA test on This Morning, and if Stephanie agrees to the test, the results could be completed in as little as 24 hours.

"I never said the baby wasn’t mine, all I said was that there was a doubt because she was with other men in the first two weeks of April," Jeremy told The Sun.

“I do believe I am the father. I want the baby to be mine, I can see a resemblance."

However the model is less than impressed with Stephanie's attitude since the birth, and has accused her of "parading him around like he was the FA Cup," and using the situation to gain fame and fortune.

"Stephanie is living off me and the baby, simple,” he said.

"I did the right thing not getting back with Stephanie when I found out she was pregnant. It was toxic and I wouldn't put the baby at risk," he told This Morning presenters.

"My responsibility is with the baby after he was born. I don't owe anything to her."

Hopefully these two can sort out their differences soon, for Caben-Albi's sake.

A Twitter account called Trump Regrets has been set up, and it's pretty significant.

Significant because, well… it shows just how many people carry guilt about their decision to vote for Donald Trump.

The account has given an insight into Trump supporters and reveals all the different ways that the new president has let his fans down.

From Daniel Craig's 007, to Mad Men's Don Draper and Christian Grey of the Fifty Shades trilogy – sophisticated, dapper gentlemen have now firmly pushed to one side the scruffy, gum-chewing bad boys of yesteryear.

And while their suits, their swagger, and their many successes naturally appeal no end, their incredible abodes are something of a mega-attraction too.

Indeed, here at SHEmazing! we say there are few things sexier than a man who takes pride in his home – whether that's a box-room in his parents' place or a sprawling, detached property.

Thankfully, and choosing to ignore any lingering traffic cones or quirky beers mats from his college years, there are simple, affordable ways to revamp a living space too.

Yes, armed with the right inspiration (Fifty Shades Darker hits Irish cinemas on February 10, for example) even the dullest of spaces can be transformed into something manly and striking.

Goodbye tatty boys-club gaff; hello cosmopolitan man-cave dwelling!

Here are six simple ways to give refined home-decor a distinctly masculine twist…

1) Accessories are everything

Forming the perfect living space isn't exclusive to those with a millionaire bank balance. After all, when it comes to creating sleek, masculine interiors, the likes of leather photo frames, matching plates and cutlery, and luxurious faux-fur throws go a LONG way.

2) Get rid of any junk

Clutter is out! Small living environments in particular can't support a load of 'stuff'. Go through every possession and aim to chuck as much of it as possible. Old DVDs and CDs? Out! Keep your wardrobe simple and concise too; discard anything that's tatty, worn, or dated.

3) Keep the colour-scheme simple

Embrace earthy hues like browns, greys, or deep greens. Or alternatively opt for two or three complementing colours and work with those – not only on the walls and ceilings, but also via accessories, furniture, and paintings.

4) Storage boxes are a BIG help

Aim to keep day-to-day clutter out of sight. Bathrooms shouldn't be littered with products; bedrooms shouldn't be strewn with clothing, and sitting-rooms should be free of the likes of games consoles and gadgets. Invest in some good-quality storage boxes to help you clear away as much as possible.

5) Create a central feature

Christian Grey may have THAT Fazioli piano in his breathtaking penthouse – but even a bicycle or smaller musical instrument mounted on a wall can create a great central feature and talking point. If that feels too ambitious, use a piece of art or a quirky charity-shop find instead.

6) Stick to a cleaning schedule

After discarding, decorating, and rearranging – don't let all your hard work go to waste by then not implementing a strict cleaning schedule. Leave the actual scrubbing and washing for the weekends, but daily, aim to complete a 20-minute tidy and re-ordering.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and while we're happy for the loved up couples (really, we are) the forever-alone-feels are hitting hard.

However, fellow singletons have taken to Twitter to complain about the realities of being single on the big day.

14. Just be grateful this isn't you.

13. A little bit a lot…

12. Back in the day, when these holidays really mattered.

11.  Every cloud has a silver lining.

10. TRUTH.

 9. So real it hurts.

8. Nothing if not consistent.

7. Not planning on leaving the house.

6. At least the hint dropping and present swapping isn't a problem.

5. Even Tesco is slagging the singletons.

4. What a cruel world.

3. Get a grip girl, you don;t need no man!

2. Pizza never leaves you for another.

1. Maybe we will leave the house, but just to do this

We're not sure why Marnie shared her opinion on this, but the Geordie Shore star has revealed she's not a fan of Stephanie Davis' son's name.

Steph chose to name her child Caben-Albi George Davis, but Marnie thinks it's all too much.

Writing in her Star mag column, she said: "I'm not a huge fan of Stephanie Davis' choice of baby name, Caben-Albi.

“There’s so much going on and it’s not my cup of tea. She should have chosen just Caben or Albi for the first name, not both together.”

The former Big Brother star hasn't hit back at Marnie, but did share a quote on social media that read: "In a world where you can be anything, be kind."

It's happened to us all.

We drink a little bit too much on a night out, and then dread having to get up for work the next day.

Why we do this to ourselves, we don't know, but when people end up in that situation, it can only go one of two ways; you can either get up and get on with it, or you can call in sick.

The latter is what this lad, Mark McLelland, tried to pull the other day when he told his boss he had them, ahem… runs.

However, Mark made a huge mistake and wasn't even supposed to be in work that day. In fact, it was Sunday.

Thankfully, his boss was sound and was pretty cool about the whole thing.

Lesson to be learned? Be careful next time you pull a sickie… awryt?

We've all seen the MTV show Catfish, but just in case you haven't, catfishing refers to the act of posing as another person online in order to lure people into an online relationship under false pretences.

Some catfish edit photos of themselves to appear more attractive, but most people simply steal other's images and pass them off as their own.

One catfish went the extra mile in the case of Jessica Hunt.

Instagram personality Jessica Hunt tweeted an image of her which had been stolen by a catfish, which for someone with almost 100,000 followers probably isn't a very uncommon experience.

However this catfish had gone to extremes, and had photoshopped what seemed to be their own face onto Jessica's body.

"OH MY GOD that is my body and my house but who's face is that!?!? catfish game is getting silly," she said, in the tweet which has since gone viral.

The hunt was then on to put a name to the photoshopped face.

This is where one Irish online personality who wishes to remain anonymous  was dragged into the mix, after savvy online detectives identified the photoshopped face as hers.

The model began receiving torrents of abuse and ridicule as people assumed she was the one behind the catfish stunt.

However, the model denies that she has anything to do with the image, and claims that it is in fact a catfish of hers who is behind it.

She believes that a catfish who has been relentlessly stalking her online for two years is behind the fake picture.

The catfish has previously created multiple accounts posing as the attractive model.

Jessica and the anonymous model have been in touch with each other over the ordeal, and are both shocked by the actions of the catfish, known only as Amy.

The catfish has since shown up on Tinder in the Essex area using the photoshopped image.

Someone call Nev and Max, ASAP!

Because, well… sparkles, booze and carbs are a girl's best friend, right?

Spotted on Cosmo, the DIY doughnuts caught our attention mainly because they have rosé in them. However, if you just want to eat them and not actually bake them, the website suggests you can just buy plain doughnuts and then follow Tyna Hong's recipe for making the boozy icing.

The Super Bowl half time show is a massive gig, and this year Lady Gaga took the reigns and entertained a crowd of 111.3 million people watching online, at home and in the stadium.

The singer put on a spectacular 12 minute performance, with pyrotechnics, synchronised dance troops and, of course, costume changes.

Since the Super Bowl aired, Twitter and Instagram has been buzzing with comments about one of Lady G's outfits in particular.

The singer rocked a pair of sparkly hot pants and a white structured crop top during an epic rendition of Bad Romance, which showcased her athletic physique.

Rather than focusing on her killer performance, online body shamers were focusing on something entirely different.

Twitter users took to the social media platform to slander and ridicule the star for having a tiny layer of fat on her stomach.

Users slated the star for daring to show a stomach which they felt was less than perfect, and ever suggested that the star should have done more crunches to tackle her "flabby belly" ahead of the performance.

Thankfully the avalanche of hate was drowned out by the out cry of Gaga fans and body positive people.

"Yall are talking about Lady Gaga's 'gut' & that is the reason women have eating disorders & never f****** feel like they're good enough," commented one user.

Lady Gaga jumped off the ROOF of the Super Bowl stadium and all people can talk about is her 'gut?' tweeted another.

Mother Monster is being praised online for showing a normal and "real" body type, and by anyones standards Gaga has a healthy, toned and athletic body.

Those trolls have got some major issues if they think Lady Gaga is overweight.
