Last night, Pete Davidson took to social media last night to publish an open letter to his haters and bullies.

The comedian has kept his head down since splitting up with Thank u, next singer Ariana Grande but the SNL cast member has been hit with waves of abuse online.

Ariana has today gone online to react to Pete's emotive statement.

Posting a screenshot of Pete's open letter, the Mean Girls fan added her own text:

'I know u already know this but I feel I need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others,' she wrote.

'I really don’t endorse anything but forgiveness and positivity. I care deeply about Pete and his health. I’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the internet.'

Ariana reminded her followers that they 'truly don’t know what anybody is experiencing ever.'

She also said that she will always have a love for her former fiancee: 'I will always have irrevocable love for him and if you’ve gotten any other impression from my recent work, you might have missed the point.'

In his post, Pete detailed how low the bullying has brought him over the past 9 months.

'I've spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth. I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won't.'

Irish YouTuber Seán McLoughlin, who has almost 21 MILLION subscribers, has now become one of the video platform's highest paid stars, according to Forbes.

The 28-year-old, who is known to his many followers as Jacksepticeye, earned a whopping €14 million from mid-2017 until May 2018.

This means that the star is number eight in the publication's top 10 highest earners.

Hailing from Athlone, Seán McLoughlin has been uploading reviews and commentaries on video games for nearly seven years, and in total his videos have been viewed over 10 billion times.

He refers to his own videos as  an “assault on the senses” that people “either love or hate”, and says using curse words is a major key to his success, weirdly enough.

“The more you swear the better. People react very positively to that, apparently.” Strange… but very Irish.

McLoughlin has made a Disney series despite the dodgy bad language, and is developing content for the live-streaming platform Twitch.

He has also launched Cloak, a a “high-end athleisure and lifestyle line for gamers”, with Mark Fischbach (YouTube name Markiplier), who is number six on Forbes' list.

Pre-sale items in the range sold out in 48 hours, but our question is why do gamers need sporty clothing?

Ryan, of Ryan ToysReview, has over 17 million followers and almost 26 billion views. Oh, and he’s also seven years old. The child millionaire earned most of his money from adverts shown before his videos.

Wow…2018 is a wild ride. Baby millionaires, people who film dead bodies earning a fortune and video-gamers forking in €14 million from their laptops.

It has been a long time coming.

The mysterious family members of Jughead Jones have long been appearing off-screen and only spoken about.

The time has come to met them – and we are more than ready.

If you were expecting badass leather-jacket clad Serpents with murky intentions then you won't be disappointed.

The CW has released a few snaps of the new arrivals who will make their debut in the new episode.

Gina Gershon will take on the role of Jughead's mum, Gladys who is a “businesswoman and a biker who runs a salvage yard that doubles as a Southside Serpent compound.''

Jellybean, played by newcomer Trinity Likins is a con artist in the making that’s “wise beyond her years.”

Sounds perfect.

The episode will centre on Jughead and Archie as they keep seemingly link up with Gladys and Jellybean.

World-renowned footballer Ada Hegerberg had just been crowned the first ever female recipient of the Ballon d'Or award, which essentially is a marker that you are the best player IN THE WORLD btw, when French DJ Martin Solveig put his foot in it.

He created a hugely awkward moment on stage when he asked the gifted player if she could 'twerk', to which she curtly responded with a simple 'No'.

We probably would have responded in a much less classy manner, but that's a testament to how much sexism she has presumably had to deal with as a female footballer.

The 42-year-old DJ claimed that the Lyon and Norway superstar forward, despite answering "no" – had told him after the ceremony that she "understood it was a joke".

Hegerberg also told BBC Sport she "didn't consider it sexual harassment" after the 23-year-old was recognised as the world's best player in Paris

It was all the more awkward seeing as the footballer's speech was referencing her hopes of inspiring girls to believe in themselves.

The reaction on social media was swift and furious, with tennis player Andy Murray commenting on the matter; "Another example of the ridiculous sexism that still exists in sport."

"To everyone who thinks people are overreacting and it was just a joke… it wasn't. I've been involved in sport my whole life and the level of sexism is unreal."

Solveig took to Twitter to express his apologies, but claimed that it was a total misunderstanding.

He also uploaded a video, claiming that anyone who has known him for a while is aware of his respect for women, and that it was taken out of context;

We don't quite know what to think of this one.

Do you think the question was out of line, and that Murray is right in saying that sexism still exists in sport?

Or do you think this all blown way out of proportion?

Men.

Can't live with 'em, can't live…hang on. .

Scratch that.

Why can't we live without them?

All they really do is cause us stress, worry, irritation and heartache tbh.

And if you needed solid proof of that, than look no further than Mary Norris, who celebrated her 100th birthday on December 3.

Born days after the First World War ended, Mary is the last surviving of her ten siblings and credits her long life to a few things.

Number one, is the fact that she never married – and I think we can all agree that that lifted significant emotional worry and stress from her life.

What's that old quote again?

''I used to be married…but I’m much better now'' – rings true doesn't it?

She was 22 when the Second World War started and she was working in a munitions factory in Edinburgh – in fact, she hasn't stepped out of Scotland in her whole life.

Now living in St Andrew's Court, the housing manager Lynn McCusker said, ''Mary is always on the go. She’ll occasionally treat herself with a trip to the hairdressers, too.''

She added, ''She loves to dance and enjoys a sherry, so maybe that’s the secret.''

Sherry and avoiding all men?

Sounds like the dream life to us.

Jennifer Aniston has opened up about the strained nature of her dysfunctional relationship with her late mother, Nancy Dow.

The actress describes the correlation between their maternal bond and her complex new Netflix film Dumplin', in which she plays a pushy mother and former pageant queen.

In the new movie, her daughter is plus-size and enters herself in a competition purely to make a dramatic statement regarding unrealistic beauty standards in our society.

The 49-year-old actress spoke candidly to The Sunday Telegraph about the many parallels between how Dow treated her during her childhood and Dumplin's expression of mother-daughter relationships.

When asked whether the two were similar experiences, Aniston replied “Where do we start?”

“One of the reasons I really loved the mother-daughter aspect of it was because it was very similar in a way to what my mother, and our relationship, was,” Aniston told the publication.

Nancy Dow, based on Aniston's description of her, was clearly preoccupied with her daughter's appearance.

“She was a model and she was all about presentation and what she looked like and what I looked like,” The former Friends actress commented. The star endured a highly-publicised fall-out with former actress Dow.

“I did not come out the model child she’d hoped for and it was something that really resonated with me, this little girl just wanting to be seen and wanting to be loved by a mum who was too occupied with things that didn’t quite matter.”

The actress added that she really resonated with the film's message, which encourages the audience to embrace their flaws and imperfections.

"This movie is so special because it is about stripping away those preconceived notions of beauty, trying to become individuals and not feeling that we have to live up to some unrealistic ideal that society is feeding up to us," she explained.

"My idea of beauty is, it's what makes you feel beautiful and what makes me feel beautiful are the people around me, the life that I have. And maybe a good hair day."

Aniston previously told The Hollywood Reporter in 2015 about Dow, saying; "She was very critical of me."

Nancy wrote a biographical book in 1999 about their strained relationship: From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir, which Aniston saw as a breach of privacy.

"Because she was a model, she was gorgeous, stunning. I wasn't. I never was. I honestly still don't think of myself in that sort of light, which is fine."

We think she's absolutely beautiful, inside and out. Dow passed away in 2016 at the age of 79, after a long illness.

“Only got love for my wife. No time to be wasting. Think again,” he added in a separate comment.

Clearly peeved about the allegations, Travis took to his own Instagram stories to further deny the rumour.

He wrote: “Trolls always wanna create some fake s**t to destroy real love."

“GOING OVER BOARD TO MAKE SH*T LOOK LIKE IS NOT EVIL. I hate acknowledging sh*t. But quit try to take joy from sh*t that’s good. I pray god blocks out all evil.”

Two more names have been confirmed for this year's Dancing With The Stars and we're very excited. Joining Mairéad Ronan, Darren Kennedy and Eilish O'Carroll will be former Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter and comedian Fred Cooke.

It was announced on RTÉ 2FM's Breakfast Republic this morning that the model and comedian have their eyes set on this year's Dancing with the Stars trophy. After much speculation the two stars revealed that they will strut their stuff on the dance floor for series three of the show.

Speaking about taking part in Dancing with the Stars this year, Holly said;“I'm so excited to do the show. I've watched the last two series religiously with my Mom. When I met the pro-dancers I was almost star struck, so I'm truly delighted to be part of it. This is going to be physically and mentally challenging and I'm slightly terrified, but overall I'm really looking forward to it.”

Fred commented: “I'm so happy to be taking part on Dancing with the Stars this year. When it comes to dancing, I'm full of passion but I don't have the technique. I'll do my best to try and get both right on this incredible show."

Jennifer Zamparelli and Nicky Byrne will join forces this year to present the new series of Dancing with the Stars. Airing on RTÉ One for 12 weeks from Sunday, January 6, a total of 11 celebrities will pair up with their professional dancing partners as they step out of their comfort zones and onto the dancefloor, each hoping to claim the much-coveted glitter ball trophy at the end of the series. Each pairing will have a different dancing genre to master every week from the paso doble to the waltz and they’ll have just seven days to perfect their routine before performing live to the nation.

Also returning this year is our expert panel of judges Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry and Julian Benson. Once again the celebrities and their dancers will be scored by the judges and the viewing public at home.
