Every now and again, we read the results of scientific surveys and our blood boils enough that the steam contributes to global warming. This latest survey has succeeded in causing such rage.

Apparently, men spend HOURS hiding in the toilet from 'nagging wives', kids and household chores and suffer from a lack of 'me-time'. Really? Like, in all seriousness?

Considering they don't have to put in tampons or sanitary pads, we often wondered what can take some men so long in the bathroom, but now we know the answers.

Men are viewing bathrooms as their safe haven from the chaos of family life, retreating to the sanctuary to escape chores.

The study was conducted back in 2018 and it focused on the reasons why men hastily run away from their responsibilities to such a strange (and unhygienic…) part of the home.

According to the study, which surveyed 1000 male participants, men rack up seven hours of time spent in bathroom per year.

The reasons? They ran away from nagging partners, house chores, noisy children and also wanted the chance to use their phones in peace. Funny how mums don't get the same opportunity.

The study was commissioned by bathroom expert Pebble Grey, and discovered that one-in-10 bathroom visits would be interrupted. This adds up to 171 interruptions every year.

45 percent of the study's male participants said they rarely get any 'me time'. Among these men, a quarter of them stated that their partners aren't understanding of how hectic their lives actually are.

Somehow, we don't have sympathy considering women get paid less for their time and still have zero moments of self-care in their lives…

When Christmas came around, you either LOVED seeing Santa in the grotto every year and couldn't wait to nab the present he gave you (because who doesn't like an early Christmas present?!).

Or, you were the exact opposite and felt like visiting Santa was the WORST time of the festive season (who wants to sit on a randomer's lap anyway??).

But these kids we've spotted popping up around social media are something else. The fear of god has definitely sunk into a few of them… and we can't help but laugh:

1. The Great Escape

2. 'Why did you do this to me, mam?!'

3. I'm a child… GET ME OUT OF HERE!

4. He's clearly having none of it

5. Her face is just priceless

6. The kid who climbed to safety

7. We honestly don't blame her though…

8. She's giving her brother some serious side eye

9. Props to the sister for keeping her cool

10. When dad is dragged into the mix

11. They can't get further away from him

12. The blur… and the brother who isn't far behind her

13. And the dog, who clearly doesn't want to be near Santa either

Being a millennial in the time of skyrocketing housing prices and a questionable social obsession with avocados is difficult enough – and for many women, having children is a distant concept.

However, many people start to feel the pressure to reproduce from their own parents.

According to a new survey by BodyLogic, women aged 31 to 36 feel the most heat to have a child, with 62% reporting that their own parents want them to start a family.

38% of women ages under 25 also get that expectation from their family – compared to 19% of men in the same age bracket.

The only age at which men were more likely to feel pressure to become parents was over 40.

The peak for both genders is the early 30s, with both men and women feeling the pressure in the aforementioned 31-36 age bracket.

Fertility is a very personal aspect of our bodily health, and it differentiates person to person.

If you're worried about your fertility, you're definitely not alone. The study found that 63% of women worry about their fertility.

Among millennials, 72% expressed a desire to have kids in the future.

"There is something very bittersweet about it. I love that you guys are here and we are ending it in Ipswich. This is my last gig for probably 18 months," he continued.

"We've played all around the world. Glastonbury, Wembley Stadium. All these amazing venues, America, New Zealand, Australia, Asia, South America – it's been a wild one."

He went on: "I was told before I came on that now at the end of this tour I've played to nine million people around the world. It is the biggest tour ever."

"It sounds odd but it has been a long tour." Monday's concert may as well be his final loop pedal tour gig, as he'll have a band behind him next time.

Fighting back tears, Ed changed out of his Ipswich Town football shirt and put on another one symbolising his home; Framlingham Town.

Ed low-key married his childhood sweetheart Cherry last December, and recently revealed that they're planning to start a family; "I'm starting a life with Cherry. I can't spend the next 20 years on the road."

"Kids would be the different thing. I wouldn't mind sacrificing for them. If someone told me you can't tour again for the next ten years if you have kids that is fine, because that is what I have signed up for.

"I've already achieved more than I thought I would, so now I'm just trying to have fun."

Pink has had enough of social media trolls when it comes to her kids.

The singer, who regularly posts snaps of her two little ones, slammed the mean comments she received on a post of her young son.

The 39-year-old is mum to seven-year-old daughter Willow and two-year-old son Jameson.

She spoke on The Ellen Show about the ''rude, mean-spirited" comments she received after she posted a semi-nude image of her toddler son.

She said, ''Someone went as far as saying someone should call child services…some of the nastiest things. And I cried so hard after that. I won't share them anymore."

She went on to say that she understood people's concerns but that they could be kinder in their responses.

After posting a snap of her son and daughter and a pelican that had wandered into their home, it was the fact her son had taken his nappy off that accused issue among her followers.

Pink responded with, ''I deleted it because you’re all f*cking disgusting. And now I’m turning off my comments and shaking my head at the state of social media and keyboard warriors, and the negativity that you bring to other people’s lives.''

She also received criticism after she posted a video of her son playing with cars and saying, "Ah, damn it."

She said, ''Some people were like: 'Nice language, I'm sure that came from you' and 'What kind of mother do you think you are?'''

She continued, ''And I understand people saying you need to be more careful because you are in the public eye and you should have thought of that – they're right. But there's a nice way to say that. There's a kind way to be online.''

She said the time was right to stop posting images of her daughter as she is getting older.

She said, ''It's probably time to pull her back from the world and let her live her best life."

We love Pink and her real posts about family life – but we applaud her choice to keep that part of her life private.

Eva wants to make sure that her daughters have a strong role model in her.

She said, ''What I try to emphasise is that I don't let them see me put attention to how I dress. They've never seen me get ready for something; they've never seen me at work.''

She continued, ''Which is fine, for whoever wants to do it that way, but the way I keep it normal is by not letting them see me in these situations. I'm just Mom. And I'm more than happy to just be Mom.''

It sounds like she has it figured out just fine.
