Pride is one of the biggest events of the colourful year, and the rainbows will be flying loud and proud in Dublin this weekend.

Make-up and fashion are two of the festival's most noteworthy aspects, since using beauty to express ourselves and our individuality is empowering.

Expect to see some swoon-worthy looks being served by queens far and wide for the parade, and nightlife events shortly after.

Though Pride was, and still is, a protest; Showing off your inner and outer beauty has become a staple part of the festival. The march is about never being afraid to stand out, in many ways.

To celebrate the amazing event, Urban Decay will be giving away complimentary mini-makeovers this Saturday, June 29 in their Grafton Street boutique and we're literally bursting with anticipation.

The rainbow-inspired makeovers will use the brand's new Sparkle Out Loud Glitter collection, made to turn heads and stay in it's place. Basically, it's ideal for a night on the dancefloor.

Included in the range is the Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in eight glorious shades (including the limited-edition Stonewall), which contain water-based, superfine glitter.

The Heavy Metal Glitter Gel is featured in six new shades as the vibrant, hyper-sparkly, buildable formula for your eyes, body and face. Lasting up to nine hours with minimal fallout, the gel will fast become your cult product.

The award-winning 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil wows in the collection, coming in four more shades which are spreadable with a super-creamy and metallic finish. It's even waterproof, so those tears of Pride joy are protected.

Last but certainly not least, is the Hi-Fi Ultra Cushion Lipgloss in four brand new hues. The glitz and shine won't stop you from kissing your LGBTQ+ love interest on the night, don't worry.

Check out the full Urban Decay Sparkle Out Loud Glitter Collection in the boutique, 50-51 Grafton Street. Get yourself down there ASAP on Saturday for the makeover of your rainbow dreams.

Each makeover will take roughly 15 minutes and are subject to availability. We feel a physical connection to the glitter that's about to be spread all over our face this weekend…See you there.

We've been counting down the days for Queer Eye to return to our streaming screens, we need far more Jonathan, Antoni, Bobby, Karamo and Tan in our lives.

The make-over with a meaning show has us gasping for air between laughs and sobs, it's just so touching. We love the Fab Five more than anything, they're PURE AF. Thank God, they've released a teaser:

The tweet was captioned in a typical up-beat Jonathan tone:

"WE'RE BAAACK HENNYS! Get ready to LOVE YOURSELF! Queer Eye season three launches March 15. HUGE thanks to Carly Rae Jepsen for this exclusive preview of her NEW BOP, Now That I Found You.

That's right, pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen is featured in the new trailer with a never-before-played track, and we're dead. Deceased. Cadaverous. RIP. Pick us up off the floor.

The eagerly-awaited third season will have eight episodes, and will be based in Kansas City, Missouri. It's a big change from Georgia, but they'll spark joy wherever they go. And self-love.

A post shared by Carly Rae Jepsen (@carlyraejepsen) on

Jepsen last released a track Party For One in November, a huge break-up banger, but this one is lit.

The pop singer wrote on her Instagram: “Obsessed with you guys Queer Eye; Congrats on the new season and thanks for including #NowThatIFoundYou."

The Netflix show which follows the Fab Five as they sprinkle love, confidence and happiness on those who desperately need it picked up four Emmy nominations for it's first season.

Season two will be eligible next year for the Emmys again, and we're confident it'll pick up a few gongs. We were WEEPING throughout.

Fans on social media have predictably lost their minds over the news, and the show returns on March 15 so get yourselves ready.

We're talking glitter, tissues for the tears and avocados for the angel that is Antoni. Always.

What are your V-Day plans, gals?

For many of us, it's pretty much the usual shebang of perusing ice-cream flavours in Tesco, and wallowing on the couch while feeling guilty as a feminist for wallowing on Valentine's Day.

Ariana Grande is turning the single life into a trend, at least that's one comforting thing. Plus our pets give us more love than we even deserve.

Meanwhile, in Billionaire Boujee-land, Kylie Jenner is prepping for a new Kylie Cosmetics launch:

She appears to have gotten a red lady makeover, and we have to admit she's looking pure Poison Ivy-level glamour; serving Jessica Rabbit realness 24/7 just became her new niche.

We're assuming that this isn't Kylie's natural hair, seeing as the Kardashians can afford wigs, extensions, photoshop, stylists, fashion designers, celebrity hairdressers, etc.

Kylie's emanating Kim's Valentine's Day vibe form 2017, because the photographer responsible for this Kylie Cosmetics shoot also shot Kim's viral candy hearts campaign in 2018.

While Kim's hairdo is a lighter shade of pastel-coloured pink, Kylie has gone all-out pillarbox red.

Which do you prefer? We're feelin' Kylie's wavy, short hair because it's Moulin Rouge vibes to the max.

She'll be releasing the new collection on February 1, stay tuned.

Snapchat's CEO, Evan Spiegel, has announced plans to overhaul the design of the app – a move which he acknowledges may cause disruption to business for the foreseeable future.

Responding to long-running criticism regarding the app's confusing design, Evan explained that the team are on a mission to make the app more user-friendly.

"One thing that we have heard over the years is that Snapchat is difficult to understand or hard to use, and our team has been working on responding to this feedback," he said this week.

"As a result, we are currently redesigning our application to make it easier to use."

With a nod to the immediate future, Evan asserted that the re-launch may result in a number of challenges, but insists the overhaul is vital.

"There is a strong likelihood that the redesign of our application will be disruptive to our business in the short term, and we don’t yet know how the behaviour of our community will change when they begin to use our updated application," he said.

"We’re willing to take that risk for what we believe are substantial long-term benefits to our business," he added.

Reports suggest that Snapchat failed to impress older audiences since its launch, while its popularity among its target demographic has been dwindling in recent months.

Last month, Cara Delevingne stepped out on the Met Gala red carpet sporting a futuristic shaved head, decorated with silver paint and jewels.

Of course, Cara could rock any look, but one little girl might just be giving the actress a run for her money.

Meet eight-year-old Brooklyn. She is currently fighting her second Wilm's tumour – a type of kidney cancer that typically occurs in children.

As a little treat, Glamsquad Academy gave Brooklyn an incredible makeover, turning her into a mini Cara – and she looks absolutely magical.

“This little lady is fighting cancer for the second time and she's doing it with gusto!,” they wrote.

“Well done everyone for raising awareness for this little cracker! ‘If you can't have hair, have diamonds instead!’

“Brave little girl (she's really funny too).”

Cara was so impressed with Brooklyn's transformation that she even reposted the pictures to her own Instagram.

“Brooklyn MY HERO!” she wrote.

We couldn't agree more Cara.

She wrecked our heads for weeks upon weeks with her song Friday back in 2011, but five years later, Rebecca Black has certainly changed for the better.

She said goodbye to preppy pop and neon tops, and hello to a much cooler, grown-up, boho vibe – and we have to admit we're loving it.

Not only has her vibe totally changed, but her music has too, and she's actually releasing a new track tomorrow:

Isn't she GOREGOUS?! Now, this Rebecca Black is someone we could totally get on with.

Tina Knowles, mother of Beyoncé and Solange, could pass as their older sister in a just-released stunning glossy magazine shoot.

The 61-year-old posed wearing a golden crown for the July issue of Ebony magazine, as is playfully referred to as Queen T – a play on Beyonce's Queen B title given to her by her fans.

The grandmother-of-two looks amazing in a red dress on the front of the sexy forever issue of the magazine.

Tina’s hair was styled extremely similarly to Beyoncé, as her long brown hair was in wild curls that make her look way younger than she is.

She was is wearing red lipstick with matching nail polish for the shoot and we now are all sure where Beyonce gets her hotness from.

The fashion designer married actor Richard Lawson, 68, in April in a ceremony that included daughters Beyoncé, 33, and 28-year-old Solange Knowles.

Tina explains how she keeps in shape in the exclusive Ebony interview, saying she does Pilates five days a week.

She also discussed her childhood, leaving solo for California at age 18 and opening a Houston hair salon at age 34 with her children in tow.

Tina's salon Headliners became one of the most prosperous hair businesses in Houston and she later became the costume designer for Destiny's Child.

Tina spoke to the magazine about being chosen to front its #SexyForever issue, saying, "My first question was, 'Me, really?' I had some reservations but as I thought of all the women who tell me daily that I have inspired them to live a wholehearted life, which includes your sexuality.

“I am proud to be 61 years old and to not be putting limitations on my lifestyle. We can still be sexy and vibrant, fashionable, classy and fly until the day we die!"

We didn't even recognise Katy Perry in a picture she posted to Instagram recently.

The usually brunette babe was showing off bleached hair AND eyebrows in the dramatic picture, along with the caption: "TOMORROW one of favourite shoots I’ve EVER done is coming out on @wonderlandmag There’s a couple rotating covers… But here’s a sneak (peek) for now!"

Thankfully, it was only for her latest magazine shoot.

Saying that though, we actually think she still looks gorgeous!

We can't get over how different she looks with her hair slicked back and with lighter eyebrows.

The shoot appears to be eighties inspired and is for Wonderland magazine.

It's a big change, but we actually think we could get used to it.

This isn't Katy's first image change in a while as she recently took to Instagram to sport a new cropped hairstyle where she "asked for the Kris Jenner".

That girl can pull off anything.

January is a time for renewal and refreshing your surroundings. However, that is not always as simple as it sounds – especially when you're broke!

Here are some simple ways you can upgrade your bedroom without breaking the bank:

Fairy lights
Not just for Christmas, fairy lights can add a really cosy and ethereal feeling to your surroundings – transforming a space. They are so widely available and in so many different styles that you don’t need to spend lots of money!

Buying some new throw pillows for your bed can really make your room feel made over. Go for different colours and patterns for a kitsch feel.

Put your favourite quotations above your bed or mirror to make your room trendy and on point. And most importantly, cute.

Lamp shade
While your bed is generally the centre of attention in a bedroom, the lamp shade is also important. There are amazing choices out there for unique and different lamp shades, from star-shaped to jam-jar chandeliers.

Create your very own haven with a draped canopy over your bed. Using some light fabric simply secure the fabric to certain areas of the ceiling to get your desired effect. Make sure it is secured properly so it doesn't fall down in the middle of the night!

So somebody gave Millie Mackintosh a makeover and it’s making us want to run away screaming.

No, seriously, look what they did!

#TWDNOWTV Had a lot of fun with NOW TV getting transformed into a walker to celebrate the launch of #TheWalkingDead Season 5! What do you think?

View on Instagram

Millie, former star of the hit reality TV show, Made in Chelsea, was made over into a zombie for the launch of The Walking Dead’s fifth season.

The star shared a before and (terrifying) after and captioned: “Had a lot of fun with NOW TV getting transformed into a walker to celebrate the launch of #TheWalkingDead Season 5! What do you think?”

We never thought we’d say this, Millie, but even the fringe was better than this – eek!

Nicki Minaj has gotten a seriously classy makeover for a recent spread in Dazed magazine.

Now, don’t get us wrong, sometimes Nicki can get it very very right in the style stakes, remember this dress?

However, sometimes she gets it very wrong too…

Despite this, the only things we never thought we would see her in was a Chanel style pink tweed jacket!

The Anaconda singer looked every inch the classy ‘50s housewife as she sat at a retro table with her hair in a sleek bob.

We’d know those almond-shaped talons anywhere though!

Another photo from the shoot features a pair of green wellies…with a heel. Where can we get them before the next Electric Picnic?!

Nicki looks great and her makeover really reminds us of Pamela Anderson's from a couple of weeks ago – don't you think?!
