Beyoncé’s mother got a makeover and she looks incredible

Tina Knowles, mother of Beyoncé and Solange, could pass as their older sister in a just-released stunning glossy magazine shoot.

The 61-year-old posed wearing a golden crown for the July issue of Ebony magazine, as is playfully referred to as Queen T – a play on Beyonce's Queen B title given to her by her fans.

The grandmother-of-two looks amazing in a red dress on the front of the sexy forever issue of the magazine.

Tina’s hair was styled extremely similarly to Beyoncé, as her long brown hair was in wild curls that make her look way younger than she is.

She was is wearing red lipstick with matching nail polish for the shoot and we now are all sure where Beyonce gets her hotness from.

The fashion designer married actor Richard Lawson, 68, in April in a ceremony that included daughters Beyoncé, 33, and 28-year-old Solange Knowles.

Tina explains how she keeps in shape in the exclusive Ebony interview, saying she does Pilates five days a week.

She also discussed her childhood, leaving solo for California at age 18 and opening a Houston hair salon at age 34 with her children in tow.

Tina's salon Headliners became one of the most prosperous hair businesses in Houston and she later became the costume designer for Destiny's Child.

Tina spoke to the magazine about being chosen to front its #SexyForever issue, saying, "My first question was, 'Me, really?' I had some reservations but as I thought of all the women who tell me daily that I have inspired them to live a wholehearted life, which includes your sexuality.

“I am proud to be 61 years old and to not be putting limitations on my lifestyle. We can still be sexy and vibrant, fashionable, classy and fly until the day we die!"
