Earlier this year, Rob Delaney and his wife Leah shared the devastating news that their two-year-old son Henry had passed away after he was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour.

The Catastrophe actor wrote a beautiful tribute to his "smart, funny, and mischievous" son Henry after his heartbreaking death as his family try to grieve the loss of their beautiful son.

The family recently announced their joy as they plan to welcome a new arrival but, naturally, Henry is never far from their thoughts.

Writing on Medium, Delaney shared a beautiful and powerful essay detailing Henry's diagnosis and illness, and how the devastation had impacted everything around his family and life.

"Henry’s tracheotomy tube prevents him from speaking, so I haven’t heard him make a peep for over a year. My wife recently walked in on me crying and listening to recordings of him babbling, from before his diagnosis and surgery."

"I may wish Henry wasn’t in the hospital and it may make me f**king sick that my kids haven’t lived under the same roof for over a year. But I’m always, always happy to enter the hospital every morning and see him. It’s exciting every day to walk into his room and see him and see him see me," he wrote. "..And when he smiles, forget about it. A regular baby’s smile is wonderful enough. When a sick baby with partial facial paralysis smiles, it’s golden. Especially if it’s my baby."

He explained that Henry had been vomiting consistently and that he and Leah had to visit a number of doctors before they would know the heartbreaking root of the cause. His words are powerful, raw and honest, as well as utterly wrenching to read.

"I would often start crying whenever he threw up. I would try not to cry in front of his older brothers and fail and they’d ask why, and I would say it was because I was scared."

He explained he had started writing the post as a book for parents of sick children so that it might offer some form of help or comfort to those in the same position but decided to stop writing when he saw his son’s last bad MRI scan.

He stopped writing, he says, so that his family could focus on Henry and his happiness, but sharing the post now, he says he wants other parents to know that they are heard and understood.

"The reason I’m putting this out there now is that the intended audience for this book was to be my fellow parents of very sick children. They were always so tired and sad, like ghosts, walking the halls of the hospitals, and I wanted them to know someone understood and cared. I’d still like them to know that, so here these few pages are, for them. Or for you."

"…I can’t write that book anymore because our family’s story has a different ending than I’d hoped for. Maybe I’ll write a different book in the future, but now my responsibility is to my family and myself as we grieve our beautiful Henry."

We commend the Delaney family for their incredible strength and courage; for sharing the moving words that might provide others grieving with a source of comfort.

According to reports, Drake is suing a former lover.

The artist is allegedly taking the case against Layla Lace, after she claimed Drake had gotten her pregnant and then made false rape allegations against him.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the suit was filed by Larry Stein, a famous lawyer in celebrity land.

Layla and Drake had reportedly met last year during his Boy Meets World Tour in Manchester, England.

The Canadian singer claims they met after one of his concerts in February 2017 and they went back to his hotel and engaged in consensual sex.

It is being reported that the lawsuit also includes a number of text message between the two.

Drake has allegedly stated that Layla had formed a "fantasy relationship" with him and, once he reached a point when he didn't have the "time or energy to respond," it supposedly set Layla off.

In April 2017, Layla had reportedly posted to Instagram detailing her first claim of pregnancy.

"So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you pregnant they stop answering they phone!!!" the caption read.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit also contained details that Layla had threatened to leak their conversations to the public, which she did when she announced her pregnancy with the rapper on SiriusXM.

The suit also said that a month later, Layla had taken a lawyer to demand money for the alleged baby and threatened him with defamation after a TMZ article surfaced and claimed that Drake said he never met Layla.

Drake claims the entire pregnancy story was a scam, after Layla refused a paternity test.

"There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall," said Drake in the obtained documents.

The lawsuit then alleged Layla went to authorities in New York to make a rape complaint against the 31-year-old.

Drake reportedly said that Layla hired a new lawyer to make demands of money or they would release the complaint to the public.

The obtained documents said that the complaint was then handled by Manchester police, who investigated the claim and cleared Drake.

The singer then went on to state that Layla wanted millions of dollars for her silence.

Whether it's a girl's trip to a Spanish beach resort or a backpacking adventure through South East Asia, there are a few essentials you can't afford to forget about.

While travelling is one of the most exciting and enriching things we can do, leaving the important items at home has the potential to ruin your trip.

Many of the standards we keep up at home fly out the window as soon as we step onto foreign soil, but there are some things you always need to bear in mind.

From eyewear, to health products, to electronic lifesavers, here's your essential guide to everything you'll need to take with you when travelling, wherever the destination.

Source: Pixabay

Carry-On

Your carry-on bag should always be reserved for the most important items, especially any relating to your health and wellbeing.

That means any medications you need should always be carry-on items, as well as any special equipment or health-related items that you need to function.

It's also a good idea to have some "travel versions" of items that you regularly use.

If you're visually impaired, your best bet is to bring contacts, no prescription needed, along with you in your backpack or handbag.

If you're worried about where to pick some up or have already left for the airport, it's now easier (and faster) than ever to get no RX contact lenses online.

Simply order your contacts without prescription from a trusted retailer and you'll receive them in no time. Similar rules apply to everyday items such as tampons, painkillers and bug-repellent sprays, all hang-luggage material.

Also make sure to pack a change of underwear and any device chargers in your carry-on – baggage going missing is not unheard of and these are things you don't want to be caught without!

Suitcase

Some items can be stuffed into your suitcase to be used upon arrival in your destination.

Make sure to pack clothing for every weather (and enough clothes for a few days at least), as well as however much makeup is needed to get you through the day.

It's also recommended that you pack a towel in case your accommodation doesn't provide one, as well as a sleeping bag liner in order to avoid any nasty surprises in a hostel dorm room bed.

Also make sure to throw in larger liquids such as moisturiser, shampoo, wet wipes (a true godsend) and any other toiletries you can think of, and you will be prepared.

Electronics

The truly savvy traveller knows to take the right electronics on board with them.

Luckily, all you really need is an average modern smartphone, as long as you've downloaded the right apps.

Wherever you're going, consider downloaded apps specifically run by the public transport authorities of your destination. Also make sure to get apps detailing air pollution, temperature, pollen count and local SPV.

You can take steps towards meeting other successful women on the go with popular friendship apps such as MeetUp, so you can expand your global network.

The key to smart travel is looking after yourself. Once the essentials are taken care of, the rest will fall into place.

Sweet sweet nostalgia – Sony announced today that they will be launching the PlayStation Classic later this year.

The gaming device is modelled off the OG PlayStation, and will host the same old school games – however this device is almost half the size of the original.

The console is being released exactly 24 years after the original and first ever PlayStation launched.

Rather than inserting game cartridges, the self-contained console comes pre-loaded with 20 vintage PlayStation games.

Among the games announced for the miniature console so far are Street Fighter, Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3 and Ridge Racer Type 4.

More games will be announced at a later date (our fingers are crossed for Spyro and Crash Bandicoot)

'Today, we are excited to announce that we are bringing back the original PlayStation experience in a new miniaturized version – PlayStation Classic,' reads a Sony statement.

'Long-time fans will appreciate the nostalgia that comes with rediscovering the games they know and love, while gamers who might be new to the platform can enjoy the groundbreaking PlayStation console experience that started it all.'

The console is set to cost €99.99 on release – we'll see you in the queue.

If there's one thing we love than Pumpkin Spiced Lattes in autumn, it's getting a peek at all the fabulous, glossy perfection that is Autumn/Winter high-fashion campaigns.

We're totes emosh looking at the handbag or coat we'd literally kill our BFF to own. But because life is just that kind, we'll have to settle for A, dreaming about said purchase (or untimely passing of frenemy) or B, finding comfort in new photographs of Harry Styles – ahem, newly single Harry Styles – decked out in Gucci, cuddling farmyard animals.

And because we need a pick-me-up on this blustery Wednesday, we'll take option B – thank you, oh fashion Gods.

For their A/W19 men's tailoring campaign, Styles is featured in Italy, accompanied by a lamb, a goat and some piglets.

Foodies assemble! Dublin's Vegfest is back.

In it's third year, this vegan festival is looking oh-so tasty.

The two-day event will be bursting with famous speakers, informative talks and most importantly – our biggest joy in life, food.

The Food Village will be jammers with cuisines from around the globe, divine sweet treats and all those sought-after vegan products.

If you're headed to this holy grail, I recommend bringing your fat trousers, cash as not all vendors take card and gorging on the fried chick'n that will make you question your entire life.

Grab a seat and listen to best-selling cookbook author Áine Carlin ( RTE's The Afternoon Show), Holly White (The Six O Clock Show) and Paul Knapp ( Ireland AM's Fire Fighting Chef).

And for all you health and fitness junkies, German' strongest man Patrik Baboumian is there to talk all thing plant-powered protein.

Dublin Vegfest organiser, Pears Hussey gave SHEmazing the low-down on all the other elements of the festival – and be prepared to get your hands dirty.

"We've packed the schedule with cooking and skin care demonstrations. People can feel the burn at the hot sauce competition, and get a vegan themed tattoo at the Tattoo Parlour (temporary only)."

"If you work out or aspire to you can meet the Athletes panel. The Art of Compassion Gallery will exhibit Vegan Poster Art. Amy True will share conscious hip hop tunes," said Pears.

Bringing the Vegfest to close on Saturday, there will be an after-party, which is a great way to socialise and possibly find a vegan boyfriend – haha jokes, they're impossible to find and if you do stumble upon one they're usually already taken. – No vegan love for you.

But Kiruu will be supplying the tunes and it should be a fab way to end your day.

Veganism seems to be popping up all over the place, so we put the question to Pears about the lifestyle growing in Ireland.

"The growth of really good vegan food producers across the Island has taken off. Demand for information on eating and living vegan across social media is making traditional media outlets take interest. That's a good thing. Restaurants and shops increase their vegan options almost weekly," he said.

"There is a need to embrace people that are curious or passionate about making lifestyle changes and eating vegan. To gently support and say "Hey look at all this really tasty foods and things we can do to live healthier, happier lives." That's where we and our partners come in providing that experience in a fun way over the two days. It's an exciting time," he added.

The Dublin Vegfest will be held in Griffith College on September 22 and 23.

You can get your tickets here.

The Harry Potter series has gripped the imaginations of multiple generations, and thanks to the internet, fan theories are dime a dozen.

From wild ones involving Snape being Harry's father to the is-he-isnt-he debate over certain character's sexuality, there are plenty to go around.

Luckily, author JK Rowling has a penchant for sharing fun HP facts via Twitter, and answered one particular theory.

Hermione is now a very well known name thanks to the book and film series, but pre-Potter, it was rather unusual.

So, when the books first came out ahead of the movies, there were plenty of people mispronouncing the Shakespearian moniker.

That is, until the fourth tome – The Goblet of Fire, in which JK. Rowling placed a paragraph where Hermione explains how to say her name to love interest Viktor Krum.

A Twitter fan hypothesised that Roling had intentionally placed this scene in the novel; because she was sick of so many people mispronouncing the core character's name.

And guess what folks, that theory was correct – as confirmed by JK Rowling herself.

Perhaps a similar paragraph for Xenophilius Lovegood wouldn't have gone astray.
