We unashamedly binge-watched the first two series of The Crown, like most of the country in fairness!

We were engrossed by Queen Elizabeth's power and vulnerability and, at times, appalled by Prince Phillip's behaviour, and were devastated when it came to an end.

And while the show's highly anticipated return is not going to hit for another while yet (2019, people), we have some news about the third series to keep us going until then.

This next season is expected to cover the years 1964 into the 1970s, and the show has already found its new Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman), Prince Philip (Tobias Menzies), Princess Margaret (Helena Bonham Carter), and Harold Wilson (Jason Watkins).

Billy Jenkins is rumoured to be playing Prince Charles (who will be ages 16 through to his 20s in the third series). And now, the actress playing another one of Elizabeth's children has been confirmed.

According to The Hollywood ReporterErin Doherty will be playing Princess Anne from ages 14 to her early 20s.

The actress has been in an episode of Call the Midwife and is appearing in the TV mini-series of Les Mis as Fabienne.

Erin trained at the Bristol Old Vic theatre company, and definitely bears some resemblance to young Princess Anne!

What do you think of the casting choice?

Sunday is a day for relaxing. We’re sure most of the country has spent the day at the beach, sunbathing in the park, or enjoying a barbecue at home.

Don’t get us wrong, we love the sunny weather, but we must admit that it can leave us feeling exhausted.

After spending the day working on tanning our pasty pale legs, all we want to do is curl up on the sofa with a glass of wine and a classic rom-com on TV.

Thankfully, RTÉ 1 have got our Sunday night movie covered as they are streaming one of Julia Roberts’ best movies tonight.

This 1990 classic has a strong female lead, the dreamy love interest, a kickass soundtrack and a complicated love story, what more could you ask for?

Pretty Woman is one of the most iconic romantic comedies and there’s no doubt that we’ll be tuning in tonight.

The film follows the complicated love story of a millionaire and a prostitute. Gere’s character decides to hire prostitute Vivian, who is the perfect partner to accompany him to lavish work events. Much to his surprise, he starts to develop feelings for her. The pair come from completely different worlds, but as the saying goes, opposites attract.

Pretty Woman has a stellar cast with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere taking on the lead roles. It also stars Jason Alexander, Laura San Giacomo, Ralph Bellamy and Hector Elizondo.

You can watch Pretty Woman on RTÉ1 tonight at 9:30 pm.

The sun has finally returned to Ireland and the temperatures are soaring. Rumour has it we could experience temperatures of 27 degrees next week. We rarely get treated to sunny weather here on the Emerald Isle, which means we certainly revel in every ounce of sun we can get.

Once the sun comes out we’ll have barbeques every other day and dust off our holiday clothes that have been hidden away in a suitcase since we got back from Spain.

The warm weather may be wonderful, but we must remember that animals may find it extremely difficult to deal with the heat.

Thankfully, the ISPCA has reminded us pet owners of the importance of minding our furry friends during the summer.

The charity stressed the importance of leaving out cold water for your dogs and cats. Make sure to put the bowl in an accessible and shaded part of your house or garden.

They also urged pet owners to provide shelter for their pets where they can take a break from the heat if they need to. Remember that animals need to cool down too, so supplying a spot in the shade from them is vital.

The ISPCA added that leaving your dog in the car is extremely dangerous.

They tweeted: “Temperatures could reach 28 degrees this weekend. The ISPCA would like to remind pet owners that leaving their dogs in the car in hot weather can be fatal in minutes, even with the windows down #dogsdieinhotcars”

Don’t neglect your pets during the heatwave.

The lovebirds got married at the beautiful Rayne Church and continued their celebrations at the 12th century Wardhill Castle, which is believed to be owned by Rose’s father.

Rose’s dad Sebastian had the honor of walking his daughter down the aisle, he gushed about the momentous occasion: “We are absolutely thrilled for Kit and Rose to be marrying today. It’s an absolutely lovely day for us.”

He also shared that the couple used local caterers, local flowers and local lighting for the wedding.

The duo waved at onlookers as they both left the church. Family and friends showered them with confetti as they made their way through the church grounds.

Rose dazzled in a full-length lace dress and topped off her look with a veil and delicate floral headpiece.

The groom donned a black tailcoat, a cream waistcoat, and grey trousers.

Kit and Rose announced their engagement in the Forthcoming Marriages section of The Times newspaper last September. They first met on the set of popular series Game of Thrones.

Vogue Williams has confirmed her marriage to former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews.

Hello! Magazine reported a couple weeks ago that the two had wed in a private ceremony in Scotland.

Now, the Irish model has taken to Instagram to make the happy news official.

She posted a photo of Spencer, alongside the caption, "That's my husband."

They reportedly exchanged vows in the presence of family and friends on Spencer's Glen Affric estate.

Spencer's brother James stepped up as best man and gave a reading during the ceremony.

The groom looked utterly dapper in a three-piece midnight blue suit from Tony Lutwyche.

And as for the wedding cake (the highlight of any reception), the guests feasted on a three-tier sponge featuring buttercream frosting with fresh fruit.

It sounds like a dream. Now the parents-to-be have the arrival of their first child in August to look forward to.

Another day, another remake.

Roald Dahl's The Witches horrified us as kids, in both book and movie form.

Now the film version is being remade, because that's what Hollywood does nowadays.

According to Variety, Robert Zemeckis is in final talks to direct the upcoming project.

A post shared by CinéfilosClub (@clubdoscinefilos) on

You're doubtless familiar with works Robert has directed – from Forrest Gump to Romancing the Stone to Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

While we definitely have remake fatigue, it's fair to say that this one is in capable hands with the famed filmmaker (no one can ever outshine Anjelica Huston, though).

He's penning the script with his co-writer Jack Rapke as well as Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity) and Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth).

These writing and directing creds are impressive, but the 90s classic will always be a terrifyingly good time in our eyes.

With Hey Donna, a brand new Fallon and Byrne (which serves deadly pizza) and the Stella Theatre, Rathmines has seen many cool openings in the past few months, and the D6 neighbourhood will welcome another amazing addition to its buzzing food scene next week.

Right next door to The Stella Theatre, The Stella Diner will open its door on Monday, June 25th on 211 Rathmines Road.

The former Bank of Ireland building has been beautifully restored and refurbished into an authentic American style diner.

The bright and spacious room will boasts an open kitchen, the mandatory big leather booths, with wooden panels and a long silver counter running on the side of the room.

For the musical atmosphere, expect some Motown, soul, disco and some jazz driven golden era hip hop.

Foodwise, the menu will be all about comfort food.

The Stella Diner will feature an all day menu from 8am in the morning to 10pm at night, seven days a week, celebrating the best classic diner dishes from across the US.

You will be able to choose from all day breakfast favourites like fluffy buttermilk pancakes, sausage sambos, fluffy three egg omelettes, brioche French toast with bacon and maple syrup.

For lunch, expect some downright dirty cheese burgers, hot griddled sandwiches, hot dogs, or homemade pies such as the classics apple, key lime, and of course, some creamy milkshakes.

The Stella Diner will also offer a full selection of draft and craft bottled beers, wines and cocktails.

Don’t know about you, but we need to try this ASAP!

Yas, queen.

Dublin's annual Pride parade is on Saturday 30th of June and we cannot wait. Glitter: check. Flags: check. Unconditional love and support for our LGBTQ+ family and friends: double check.

We're all about the festivities of Pride week, but do you reckon that you and your friends deserve a spot at the front and centre of the parade?

Well, Dublin Bus has the Proudest Bus in Dublin! To honour Pride week Dublin Bus have unveiled not one, but two, Pride buses decked out in the Pride colours.

Now they're offering you, their lovely customers, the chance for you and three friends to win spaces on the rainbow bus. All you have to do is go to the Dublin Bus Facebook or Twitter pages (@dublinbusnews) and tag three people you want to bring with you; it’s as simple as that!

They're so sound.

"We all know our families and friends love us unconditionally, supporting us through thick and thin, whether it’s a quiet word, a wink or an arm around the shoulder," said a spokesperson for Dublin Bus.

"This year Dublin Bus wants to celebrate these proud families and friends across Dublin and their LGBTQ siblings, parents, partners and pals by giving them a special experience at the top of the Dublin Pride Parade."

The parade this year will be led by  Grand Marshal Sara Phillips, Chair of Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI), Taoiseach Leo Varadkar along with Lord Mayor Mícheál MacDonncha and is expected to draw crowds of up to 30,000 people.

This isn't the first time Dublin Bus has shown it's support to the LGBTQ+ community. It made headlines last year by launching comprehensive Workplace Gender Transition Policy and Guidelines. The policy shows employees and management of Dublin Bus how to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for employees transitioning.

Comprised in consolation with TENI, Phillips praised the move, calling it “one of the most progressive policies on transgender inclusion in the workplace.”

Dublin Bus has also been named one of the most progressive for inclusivity and supporting diversity among its workforce and was previously named a GLEN (Gay & Lesbian Equality Network) Diversity Champion.
