Instagram is flooded with images of airbrushed perfection, and while society is certainly waking up to the fact that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, there is still along way to go when it comes to celebrating beauty diversity.

One Insta influencer who is helping the movement along is Ariella Nyssa, an Aussie-based beach babe whose feed is absolutely stunning.

Ariella recently uploaded an Instagram picture highlighting the differences between what we see as we scroll through our feed, and what's actually a reality.

A post shared by Ariella Nyssa (@_aariellanyssa) on

'When I first saw the photo on the right I had negative thoughts almost straight away. “I’m not putting that photo up”' she wrote.

'But when I compared these two pictures I realised just how important it is to post it. What you guys don’t see behind Instagram photos is the 300 other images that didn’t ‘make the cut’.'

'The in between shots where you test out different poses, angles and wait for the perfect lighting.'

A post shared by Ariella Nyssa (@_aariellanyssa) on

'The photo on the left I posed my body to an accurate degree to emphasise my body shape, the sun was out from a cloud and my body looks smoother.'

'The photo on the right is a natural stance, my posture is shocking and all of my lumps and bumps are out on display.'

'This is reality and I think it is so important to love these photos and love my body in ANY form, ANY lighting and ANY pose. So no I’m not going to delete this photo, im going to show off the things that make my body mine!'

Okay, so we have all had experiences with guys or gals ghosting us, right?

You think everything is going well, until one day they pull a Houdini and escape from our lives forever, never answering our texts even though they seemed interested that time we went for drinks.

And even though you have totally debased yourself by double-texting, they're as ghostly as Casper but so not as friendly.

So now you're totally over them, haven't thought about them in weeks and have pulled yourself out of the ghosting funk that was haunting you, when suddenly your phone lights up with a text message.

Much to your immense shock, it's the ghost boy, back from the dead.

This new dating phenomenon is called the zombie, and he's even more annoying than the ghost.

A post shared by Lisa Bonos (@lisabonos) on

With this move, he has officially elevated himself from ghosting to being a zombie.

For all you knew, he could have been dead, but here he is, risen and walking among us.

Attempting to resurrect a dead correspondence, especially after ghosting someone, is rarely going to go down well.

This is especially true if the zombie doesn't even acknowledge the passage of time that has occurred between the most recent message and the last one, and take some responsibility for it.

Whether it's a straight up text message or the more subtle mind f*** of an Instagram like or comment, being a victim of the zombie really isn't nice, and can leave you wondering, "what does it all mean?"

The best thing to remember in these cases is that ghosting is seriously unkind treatment, no one deserves to be ignored by someone they care about.

It's your choice whether or not you give the zombie another chance, but don't be surprised if they venture back into Casper territory and disappear again.

Love Island's Megan has caused a major stir in the villa, but unbeknownst to her, she has also been a topic of discussion outside the villa too.

Megan was hailed for her stunning beauty in the house, and it wasn't long before pictures surfaced of Megan which appear to be pre-aesthetic cosmetic work.

Megan admittedly looks quite different in her before pictures, but is clearly a lovely looking girl in both stages of her life. However, many members of the public are using the fact that Megan has had surgery to shame her.

Megan's first fling in the villa, Eyal Booker, has spoken out against the shaming and given his thoughts on the before pictures.

Speaking to Heatworld, Eyal confirmed that he has seen the pictures, saying:

'There is definitely a before and after.'

'But if you feel insecure within your body then you're entitled to make the changes that you want to make in order to feel better.'

'Fair play if she feels better in her skin now.'

We have to agree Eyal, everyone is entitled to empathy regardless of aesthetic choices.

Zac Efron debuted a head full of dreadlocks in a recent Instagram post.

The post is furthering the ongoing conversation society is having regarding cultural appropriation.

Many people feel that as a white person, Efron should not wear dreadlocks as they do not belong to his personal culture.

Others question why different cultures can not share their differences.

The picture has already garnered 1.5 million likes an d almost 20,000 comments since it was posted.

'I can’t believe that some of you are mad that he got dreads simply because he’s white,' reads one comment. 'That’s the same as a white person saying that a black girl can’t wear that long, blonde weave running down her back. Hair is hair, not something to classify into separate races.'

'Its cultural appropriation because when we wear it, we get fired from our jobs, suspended from schools, rejected offers etc whereas a white person can wear it, and it's considered cool. That's why we're mad about it,' reads another.

Zac is not the first celebrity to be accused of cultural appropriation.

Kim Kardashian has also been criticised for wearing braids and attributing them to Bo Derek, while her sister Khloe has faced backlash for donning Bantu knots.

Three members of a social media travel and adventure collective called High on Life have tragically died in a waterfall incident.

Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper were visiting Shannon Falls in British Columbia when the incident happened.

According to The Vancouver Sun, Scraper slipped and fell while swimming at the top of Shannon Falls, with Gamble and Lyakh also getting swept away by the falls as they tried to help her.

The tragic incident has left their friends and families, and their collective 1.6 million followers across social media, devastated.

The trio were aged 30, 30 and 29 respectively.

The High on Life group travel the world together and post videos of their amazing holiday destinations and adventures to Instagram and YouTube.

'High On Life is the attitude to embrace all of life's opportunities with a positive outlook and energy,' reads their Facebook page.

The group have previously come under fire for promoting unsafe activity, with their social media profiles showing them walking across condemned bridges miles up from the ground, and jumping off balconies into swimming pools.

The remaining group members have set up a Go-Fund-Me page in the hopes of raising $50,000 to donate to causes close to the trio's hearts.

'There are truly no words that can be said to ease the pain and the devastation that their families are all going through right now,' they wrote.

'Our gift to them is to use the money raised to cover the costs of the Celebration of Life that will commemorate all three of these beautiful lives. '

Yesterday, the Cabinet gave the nod of approval for another referendum to be held in October of this year.

Voters will be asked if they want to keep or remove Article 41.2 from the Irish Constitution.

The article states: "In particular, the State recognises that by her life within the home, a woman gives to the State a support without which the common good cannot be achieved.

“The State shall, therefore, endeavour that mothers shall not be obliged by economic necessity to engage in labour to the neglect of their duties in the home.”

Minister for Justice, Charlie Flanagan, argued against the inclusion of the article, saying:

"Our Constitution does not seek to confine the place of men; we believe it should not seek to confine the place of women. Both men and women should be able to live the lives they choose."

The Justice Minister continued that the provision "has no place in our Constitution. It undermines today's goal to achieve real gender equality by ensuring women have real choices about what to do with their lives."

The Irish Times reports that the referendum will most likely take place on October 25th.

It will be a busy day for voters as the blasphemy referendum and voting in the presidential elections will be held on the same day.

Today marks one year to the day that Taoiseach Leo Varadkar began updating his Twitter followers with weekly videos.

The vlog-style short clips gave us an insight into what Varadkar gets up to on the day-to-day and became a key method for the Taoiseach to give information to his constituents

In honour of the anniversary, he decided to release a blooper reel from all of his videos over the last year.

Many people are praising the video, hailing it as a reminder that our leaders and politicians are imperfect humans.

However, other Twitter followers were upset by the video, questioning why the Taoiseach could take the time to release a 'trivial' blooper video when there are numerous issues going on at the moment that he could be tackling.

A number of those mentioned are the cervical cancer scandal, homelessness, the housing crisis and Varadkar's recent alleged agreement with Donald Trump regarding the 'fake news' media.

If Love Island didn't get juicy enough last night with four contestants waving bye-bye – by the sounds of it tonight is even better.

As we bid farewell to Adam, Darylle, Alex and Ellie, we gear up for an explosive row between Ellie and Georgia.

In last night's teaser, we saw them at odds with each other – however, we didn't expect this.

Today The Mirror reports that the women, who haven't really interacted much, had to be SEPARATED after their bust-up.

To be honest, we were surprised they were fighting at all, but now we are dying to know why.

The short clip at the end of last night's show sees the pair shouting at each other before Georgia tells Ellie to "f*cking pipe down" and storms off , while Ellie follows her.

If that isn't enough, Love Island has given us a sneak peak of tonight's drama and the villa is on meltdown.

Supposedly, Laura has found out about Georgia's cheeky kiss. UGH OH.

So perhaps that is the reason why the two are feuding.

We don't know, but we won't be missing tonight's episode!

You never know what someone is going through.

Poor Megan McKenna was targeted by trolls as they attacked her appearance.

Unbeknownst to anyone, Megan was battling with a secret medical condition.

A post shared by megan_mckenna_ (@megan_mckenna_) on

The former TOWIE star was now clapped back at the haters and revealed her struggle with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

IBS can bring a lot of complications, which includes severe bloating and weightloss.

Megan has opened up about how IBS has been wrecking havoc on her own body and how 'vile' trolls are.

A post shared by megan_mckenna_ (@megan_mckenna_) on

In an interview with MailOnline, Megan spoke about the body shaming.

The 25-year-old explained: "I didn’t know what it was and people were really criticising me, saying you look anorexic, you look skeletal, it’s disgusting’.

"It annoys me that people think they have the right to say it to me or have the right to call someone fat. The trolls online are vile".

A post shared by megan_mckenna_ (@megan_mckenna_) on

Megan detailed that her condition was only recently diagnosed last year, and she has been "dealing with it in private."

The TV personality went onto explain the reality of living with IBS.

"When I get really bloated my belly can swell up to the point where I literally look two months pregnant."

"I can go from that extreme, to having a really bad belly and losing weight – because if you can’t keep [food] down, how are you going to keep it on?", she added.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a common condition and it affects the digestive system.

It can be a lifelong problem which can cause bloating and stomach cramps.

Diet changes and medicines can often offer some relief to symptoms.

If you're concern that you may have IBS, talk to your doctor.

Ignore the haters, we think Megan is FAB.

An impending strike action from Ryanair is the LAST thing we want to think about as we pack our bags, preparing to run to the beach, but it could become a reality later this month.

Before you go changing any plans, breathe. There's still time to potentially rearrange a few things and look at getting some potential compensation, should your flight get cancelled.

HolidayGuru.ie have compiled a set of tips to follow, which may be helpful, should you be affected.

Here's what you need to know:

Can I claim compensation due to a strike?

This depends on whether the airline is legally obliged to provide compensation if the flight is affected due to reasons beyond their control e.g volcanic eruption, a strike, extreme weather.

Depending on who is striking you may be able to claim up to approximately €530 in compensation from your airline.

  • With Ryanair, you may be eligible to claim monetary compensation if your flight was delayed more than 3 hours on arrival or cancelled within 14 days of departure.

  • They say “If the delay or cancellation was unexpected and therefore outside of our control (extraordinary circumstances) no monetary compensation is due under EU Regulation 261/2004.”

What am I entitled to if my flight is cancelled?

Under EU regulation you are entitled to:

  • A full refund of the cost of the ticket within 7 days (fees may apply)

  • A substitute flight to your destination from another airport (additional travel costs will be covered by the airline)

  • A replacement flight outside the strike duration (usually limited to a 12-month period)

Fill out the Ryanair Claim form

If your flight is cancelled and you have to make temporary arrangements in a different city, make sure that you keep your spending costs low and keep the receipts. You can claim a reimbursement from the airline when you return home.

Ryanair has a claim form which can be found on their “Contact us” page. To claim your expenses, you have to provide the flight number, date of the delay or cancelled flight and proof of your expenses such as photos of receipts, PDFs etc.

What happens if the airline rejects your claim?

  • Use an adjudicator or regulator to take the claim further.

  • Take the claim to court: If the airline still reject your claim or you are unhappy with the outcome of your claim then you can take them to court. The court may refuse claims if they date back more than 6 years in England, Northern Ireland and Wales (five years in Scotland) so be sure to keep this in mind.

  • Your insurer may be able to help. Check the terms and conditions of your insurance policy to see what situations it will cover. You may also receive payment to cover hotel costs or alternative transport you require; the airlines should provide this by law, however, as previously stated.
