Congratulations are in order! Supermodel Miranda Kerr and Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel have welcomed their first child together.

“Words cannot explain how happy we are to welcome our beautiful son into our family. Miranda is doing well and Flynn is excited to be a big brother. Thank you for the kind words and wishes during this very special time,” they told People.

And they choose an adorable name for their newest family member: Hart Kerr Spiegel, who was reportedly born at 11.53pm.

The couple first announced their pregnancy in November last year, saying that they “are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family.”

Baby Hart joins 7-year-old Flynn, Kerr's son with Orlando Bloom.

Kerr previously opened up about how she and ex-husband Orlando Bloom manage co-parenting since their split in October 2013, saying that they remained on good terms for the betterment of Flynn.

"Orlando and I are still really close so Flynn will be with his dad for a couple of days, then when I come back, he’ll be with me so that his dad can travel. He’s always either with his dad or with me."

Speaking about her relationship with Orlando in a previous interview, the model said: “We both love and care about each other and genuinely want each other to be happy… we do everything to make sure our relationship is harmonious.”

Spiegel and Kerr married in May of last year in a beautiful ceremony at their Californian home after they began dating in 2015.

Visibility for plus-size women in the fashion industry has come on leaps and bounds, but there is still a way to go.

Not Another Agency model Irena Drezi has been known to use her Instagram to promote body positivity while showcasing her distinct fashion taste to her 100k plus followers.

In her latest post, the Irish influencer explains how she has always struggled with the concept of 'perfection'. The black a white image shows Irena posing confidently in a white bikini as she looks directly down the camera lens.

"I've been a size 8 and I've been a size 18," she wrote.

"My obsession with "perfection" began when I was 12. I wish there was more diversity in media back then.

"It brainwashed me into thinking I had to look a certain way. I know it's extremely hard not to let media affect you but don't compare yourself to others. If you want to change for the better, do it for yourself and nobody else."

The post has amassed close to 4,000 likes so far, with followers taking to the comments with supportive messages for the model.

This isn't the first time Irena has inspired her followers to love their bodies. In February she shared a unedited shot along with a captioned that encouraged women to accept their flaws.

"Raw. no makeup, stretch marks and cellulite un-retouched. Nobody has perfect skin and nobody has the perfect body," the caption read.

"Three years ago I'd never post a picture like this out of disgust but I've realised you yourself are your own enemy.

"Learn to accept your flaws and stay positive."

We’re pretty confident that if we asked you to open up the photo gallery on your phone, you’d find at least (at least) 100 photos in there that you forgot you’d taken.

Photos of your family and friends, your pets, your adventures and your everyday life.

Photos that, at the time, you told yourself you would definitely print off, but then life got in the way and you forgot all about them.

Well, it’s time now to show these photos the appreciation and love they deserve.

Fujifilm are calling on people to send in a picture that depicts their everyday life to be featured at the Inspire Printing Photo Exhibition at the Photokina 2018.

It could be a photo of you and your mates having an ice cream, messing about in the gym, your dog digging up the plants or even the start of a trip.

No matter if you are an amateur or a professional photographer, no matter if the photo is staged or a snapshot, taken with a smartphone or a professional camera, Fujifilm want to see it.

“Always on the lookout for new sensations and something special and supreme, we often miss the beauty of small and big everyday moments we think are simple. It’s time to capture those unique everyday moments, get them on paper and share them with your family, friends – and the whole world!”

All pictures sent in will be exhibited at the Inspire Printing Exhibition by Fujifilm at Photokina, 26th to 29th September 2018, in Cologne, Germany. Photokina is the world’s leading trade fair for photo and video.

The first 5,000 entrants will also receive a 20 x 20 cm stylish square Fujiblox for free with the photo uploaded.

Right gals, we’ve all heard that the future is female, but sometimes it can be a struggle to feel like a queen when the monarch is looking more like a patriarch.

We’re working flat out to be ballers on a budget, empowering ourselves through activism and keeping the brows in check, but sometimes we need a little reminder of how fierce and feminine we really are. Feminism is more visible than ever before, but we could do more to reinforce our own personal perception of power. Sorry, not sorry.

Luckily, one brand in particular is keeping our heads held high (and our style game on point). The peeps at Missguided have developed an unapologetically feminine fragrance for girls with attitude and ambition. Aptly named Babe Power, the moniker itself is serving sassy sisterhood vibes. While on the one hand, we’re getting our glad rags from Missguided for the night out we’re planning after the f*ck boy leaves us on read, we’re also adding Babe Power to our online basket while we’re at it.

I mean, we’re not getting ourselves down because we were left on read (sh*t happens), but any excuse really. When we’re slaying in the selfie, the boardroom and the gym all at once, it doesn’t hurt to serve up a signature scent while we’re at it.

With top notes of grapefruit zest, sour cherry, pink pepper, crisp apple, pineapple and rhubarb, the scent is as distinct as it is empowering.

One glance at the label when we spritz and go in the morning is all we need to stay feelin’ ourselves all day long. After all, Babe Power is a frame of mind as well as a fragrant essence – we’re doing it all as a memento that the future is female.

Like many of my fellow Dublin dwellers, over the weekend, I took myself, my pals and a box of Orchard Thieves down to the canal in Portobello.

The sun had uprooted the city from it's usual Sunday routine, and with 23 degree heat blazing down, laughter, guitar music and the cracking open of cans was the soundtrack of the afternoon.

However, unlike some of my fellow revellers, I disposed of my crisp packets, empty cans and cigarette butts in the extra bins provided.

As someone who considers themselves a 'responsible' day drinker, the thought of leaving my trash behind me or dumping it in the canal is disgusting.

After all, how can the community and those who descend upon it in the good weather truly enjoy themselves if they're surrounded by what looks like a scene from Mike Judge's Idiocracy

The state the canal is left in is constantly an issue after sunny days, with Twitter and the likes of Lovin' Dublin scolding day drinkers with images of overflowing bins and plastic-littered canal water, but after years of the same conversation, the powers that be have declared that it has come to the point that it 'cannot continue. '

'It does require a much more co-ordinated effort on the part of the gardai and to recognise that it is an issue that actually has to be dealt with," Cllr Mary Freehill, who likes in the area, told The Irish Times.

“There’s been drugs there as well, I’m afraid. What really concerns me about this is when you have a group of people consuming a lot of alcohol around very deep water, people may not realise that is an accident waiting to happen. It’s something we cannot allow to continue.”

This is just the epitome of a few people absolutely ruining things for everyone.

Yes, we all get hammered on occasion and there's absolutely nothing wrong with getting merry in the sunshine, but endangering yourself and trashing the area while you're at it simply isn't on.

As my colleague pointed out in the office this morning, when we go on holidays to another city, and partake in their local beverages in the wild, we tidy up after ourselves, so why can't everyone have the same respect for our own city?

Yes, I sound like a complete spoil sport, but leaving piles of rubbish strewn down the canal, public urination and generally obnoxious behaviour suddenly seems to become socially acceptable once the sun shines.

Cllr Chris Andrews told The Irish Times that “whenever the sun shines it’s a problem” dealing with groups along the canal.

'There’s no overnight solution. We’re going to have to put a strategy in place to address it and redevelop it so there is infrastructure there for people who are social drinking and enjoying the scenery.'

As much as the city council does need to do more to provide yet more bins, more surveillance and possibly portaloos, it's us, the revellers who need to check ourselves when enjoying the sun.

Just take a shopping bag with you when you go day drinking, use it as your bin, and then take it home with you when you leave – don't apply that typical 'it'll be grand' attitude to your own rubbish disposal, because clearly it's not 'grand' when it's to the detriment of the people living in the area and the wildlife like swans, ducks, frogs and fish who are there 365 days of the year, not just when it suits them.

If there's room in the bins, pop your trash in there – yes, it can be frustrating when you go to put your stuff in the bin and it's full. but that's where your take-home shopping bag comes in.

A bag of empty cans isn't the most glam thing to bring on the bus home but you could drop them off at a recycling bank on your way.

As for pissing in the street, can you just not?

'At one stage I could see 40 fellas pissing in the street at one time,' a resident told The Sun. 'People are walking by here holding their nose it is that bad.'

If a local pub allows toilet use for customers, buy a bottle of water, a drink or a snack and use the loo while you're there, at least you're contributing a small amount to a local business and keeping yourself hydrated while you're at it.

The actual shame of peeing in a stranger's doorway and then them having to scrub it away the next day. Absolutely scarlet if you actually think that that's in any way acceptable.

Cllr Chris Andrews admitted to The Irish Times that it's a hugely difficult thing to tackle, as when people get locked they lose the run of themselves.

Local councillors are set to discuss these issues at their next meeting, so until then the fate of the cans and canal tradition hangs in the balance.

Whether you want to feel your best on your annual holiday or you're feeling sluggish after winter, the summer months are a great opportunity to get fit and healthy.

However, a lack of any spare cash can mean that signing up to the gym or even talking to a nutritionist are out of the question, and it can be hard to motivate yourself when you don't really know where to begin, right?

Thankfully, LloydsPharmacy, Ireland’s leading pharmacy chain, are inviting customers to get fit and stay well for the summer with the launch of its Change Your Health Direction programme.

Exclusive to LloydsPharmacy, Change Your Health Direction is a free 8-week health and wellness programme personalised for each customer.

At sign-up, customers will receive a blood pressure and BMI screening and discuss their goals with a trained LloydsPharmacy Change Your Health Direction colleague.

After, you'll receive nutritional advice, a diary for food logging with health and wellbeing tips and a smoking cessation plan (where applicable).

For the remainder of the programme, you'll visit your local LloydsPharmacy for a weekly weigh-in where your coach will support and track your progress and offer tips and healthy lifestyle guidance.

The programme is available in every one of LloydsPharmacy’s Irish stores, many of which have late-night and weekend opening hours.

"The Change Your Health Direction programme is about giving LloydsPharmacy customers support to take more control over their health and wellness without the need to spend huge amounts of money—or, in fact, any at all," Life Coach and Training Specialist Lisa Walsh said.

"Over the course of eight weeks, under the specialist guidance of our colleagues, participants will learn to monitor their weight, eat healthier food, exercise more, and quit smoking. When you stick to the plan, there are fantastic results: in January, every Change Your Health Direction participant lost an average of 2kg.

"We want to demonstrate that a pharmacy is more than just a place you go to pick up a prescription. LloydsPharmacy is continuously investing in its value-add services and colleague training so that our customers stay well and healthy for longer."

The launch of Change Your Health Direction comes as LloydsPharmacy announces they are the Official Pharmacy Partner of WellFest 2018, the health, fitness and wellness festival taking place at the Royal Kilmainham Hospital this weekend, 12-13 May.

This year, the festival will feature appearances from Davina McCall, Joe Wicks, Madeleine Shaw and Deliciously Ella.

Ryan O'Shaughnessy's heartfelt performance earned Ireland a spot at this year's eurovision final, however the dancers that accompanied him on stage have stirred up some controversy in certain parts of the world.

According to reports, Ireland's entry, which depicted a same-sex love story, was edited out by a Chinese broadcaster.

Mango TV has been airing the Eurovision Song Contest in China for the past three years, however some changes were made ahead of this year's semi-final broadcast.

COME ON IREAND!!!

A post shared by Ryan O'Shaughnessy (@ryan_acoustic) on

As well as completely removing Ireland's performance, the television station also refused to feature Albania's entry due to a regulation which bans anyone with tattoos from appearing on TV.

Introduced in January this year, the rule states that "that programs should not feature actors with tattoos [or depict] hip hop culture, sub-culture (non-mainstream culture) and dispirited culture (decadent culture)”.

Meanwhile, the Russian commentator ignored the theme of Ireland's performance and instead told viewers that the song was about "true male friendship."

Despite the controversy, Ryan's backing dancers, Alan McGrath and Kevin O'Dwyer, say that have been overwhelmed by the support they have received so far.

Speaking about the experience, Alan said: "It's an incredible feeling. You can't even remember it after you come off stage, it's that breathtaking. The feeling is overwhelming, you just go into your own little world for the three minutes on stage."

Ryan O'Shaughnessy represents Ireland in the final of the 2018 Eurovision this Saturday at 8pm on RTE One, marking the first time in five years that Ireland have made it to this stage of the competition.
