Love Island star Laura Anderson has opened up about her breast augmentation surgery in a beautifully honest post.

The reality star explained that she had recently decided to undergo a breast reduction. She had her first breast augmentation at the age of 18 but stressed that even though she was mentally mature for her age, she “really had no idea who I was or what I was doing to my body”.

Laura said that people aren’t warned about the impact surgery will have on you later in life.

“Here’s what they don’t tell you, every surgery has repercussions years down the line so this quick fix mentality which we all suffer from from time to time will most definitely come back to bite you in the ass.”

She stressed, “It's not like buying a pair of jeans that don’t fit so you just take them back. There's no refunds when it comes to interfering with our bodies.

“Being completely honest, after seeing myself on TV I realised that my chest looked way too big for my frame and after many shooting pains in my left boob I knew it was time for a change.

“My original implants were so large that over time I’ve actually stretched my skin and breast pocket so much that I was told my choices would now be limited. This is just something I would never have thought about all those years ago,” Laura admitted.

She even said that if she could go back in time then she wouldn’t have had the surgery.

“Having no implants and to be natural is honestly the person I feel inside. I just want to say to young girls or guys out there that think surgery is the answer to all their problems, just know the decision to go under the knife is huge and really has its consequences.”

“My message to you is yes fashion changes, but our bodies don’t need to!” she concluded.

Love Island and Strictly Come Dancing stars have been left "shaken up" after leaving celebrity nightclub Tape just MINUTES before a triple stabbing.

Familiar faces such as Oti Mabuse, Katya Jones and Megan Barton Hanson were among those who narrowly missed the horrific attack in London’s Oxford Street in the early hours of Sunday.

It was Love Island alumni Ellie Brown's 21st birthday, which was why a host of reality TV celebrities were in attendance.

Strictly stars Oti Mabuse, Katya Jones and her husband Neil were there in order to celebrate Aljaz Skorjanec’s 28th birthday.

A Love Island source told The Sun: “They have been really shaken up and can’t help but think ‘what if’ had they left a bit later."

“Their night could have ended very differently if they had stayed at the nightclub. It has definitely prompted questions about security for some of the group.”

Oti, who is also a captain on BBC1’s The Greatest Dancer, brought Graziano Di Prima, Pasha Kovalev and Nadiya Bychkovaening to Tape following their dance performance that night.

Fellow captain Cheryl Tweedy went straight home after filming, but her dancer co-stars left Tape between 2am and 2.50am.

ITV2’s Love Island celebrities exited later, just a few minutes before the street stabbing took place at 3.40am. Laura Anderson left 15 minutes earlier while Megan Barton Hanson and Charlie Brake left at around 3.30am.

Love Island stars Zara McDermott and Ellie Brown, who celebrated her 21st birthday, exited the nightspot at roughly he same time.

Three men suffered stab and slash wounds in the chaotic attack; blood could be seen at the scene outside the pavement yesterday.

The Met Police said that all three 24-year-old men are now recovering in hospital, and their injuries are not lif-threatening. A spokesman added: “Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.

“Two males have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon."

The ballroom dancer later hired personal security.

The Love Island couples are breaking everyone's hearts at the moment with what feels like CONSTANT break-ups, one after another.

A string of break-ups in quick succession from Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson,  Josh Denzel and Kaz Crossley , and even winners Jack and Dani had brief split back in December. News has just broken that Zara McDermott and Adam Collard have parted ways.

Zara posted a heartfelt message to her Instagram which expressed how she felt she wasn't enough for her former boyfriend, writing;

"I am heartbroken to announce that Adam and I have parted ways,' she wrote. "I love him very much and will always have a special place in my heart for him & our time spent together. I have tried so hard to be the best person I can possibly be and to make it work."

The couple reportedly decided to break up following Adam's party-boy ways since the show ended.

McDermott finished the emotional statement by saying; "Sometimes in life, you just aren't enough for someone, no matter what you do for them or how much you try to be. For everyone asking if I am okay, I dont know that I am. But I know that soon I will be."

Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are now officially the last pair standing.

Now the viewers are speculating that the ITV reality show implore the couples to sign a 'six-month contact' which prevents them from breaking up until at least six months after the show ends.

It was recently reported that series champs Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham had called time on their relationship in December, but reunited just a few days later. Many people believed back then that it was all a publicity stunt to gain more attention…

It was then alleged a few days ago that the pair had taken a break following Jack's admission that he took a class A drug on nights out with friends, only for them to show PDA after Dani's return from Tanzania.

Josh Denzel and Kaz Crossley split earlier this month, despite Kaz insisting she "still loves" 26-year-old Josh. Suspish.

Megan Barton Hanson split with Wes Nelson following his introduction to Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer. It was claimed that Hanson was jealous at how much time Wes was spending with his partner, and tensions rose.

The pair released a statement after ending their seven-month relationship, even using the famous phrase 'consciously uncoupling' and announcing that they would co-parent their hamster. (GAS)

However, fans are calling bullsh*t, insisting that the entire thing is a hoax. Especially since Megan showed up to Dancing on Ice that same evening.

 One social media user wrote;

"Does Love Island  have a contract with the couples that they have to stay together for six months after the show ends? They're all breaking up this month…"

Hmmm, we need to get our detective hats on for this one, because something fishy is 100 percent afoot.

Another fan of the show commented that suddenly, their jobs just HAPPEN to get in the way of their romance:

Kaz Crossley spoke about her split on Monday's Capital Breakfast Show, she shut down rumours that her and Josh's romance was fake: "Basically when we met each other on the show everything was so perfect."

She confessed: "I definitely was in love. Definitely. I'm still in love. We still have a lot of love for each other."

Yet the online speculations keeps gaining heat, seeing as boyfriends are being dropped "like flies" according to one Twitter fan:

What do you think of the conspiracy theory?

We have to admit, the whole thing is pretty believable. Yet… the show's runners-up, Laura Anderson and Paul Knops, split up WITHIN the six month limit:

Laura rubbished accusations that her relationship was false, telling people to be "more kind" considering "Love Island relationships are REAL."

Image: Instagram/@lauraanderson1x

The show is essentially an eight-week summer sunshine binge, and we all want to believe that it's all real but let's be honest: it ain't so.

Do we think that the couples are contractually obliged to stay together when the show ends?

We may never know the answer to this INCREDIBLY important question, but we've contact the FBI, MI5 and CIA to get on the case. We need answers, people.

We're all big fans of Laura Anderson here.

Not only was she the MVP of Love Island 2018, but she has absolutely no time for trolls.

And now the 29-year-old has had enough of the cruel comments on social media telling her that she looks old.

The Scottish stunner took to Instagram to hit back at the mean comments that have been written about her looks.

She posted a boomerang of herself, make-up free and wrote,

''I’m a lil bit fed up of the “you look old without make up” comments. IM NOT OLD and I’ve never had a complex about going bare faced. I spent most of my days in the villa like so.''

She continued, ''Yes I have a little pigmentation hence why Ive been keeping up a healthy skincare regime. Thank you @proformaesthetic for my facials over the years and making me feel beautiful in my own skin. #ILOVEMYFRECKLES#we’realldifferent.''

Yaaassss, gal.

Her 1.5 million followers were quick to have her back.

One wrote, ''too many people in the world slate others cos of their own insecurities or jealousy take no notice you look fab with or without the make up.''

While another chimed in, ''naturally beautiful Laura, haters gonna hate. Embrace your freckles.''

We think she looks beyond fab – keep ignoring those people, Laura they're just jel.

Another Love Island couple called it quits last month. We must admit we were pretty gutted to hear about Laura Anderson and Paul Knops break up, but it looks like the Scottish beauty has already moved on with someone pretty special.

The air hostess just couldn’t seem to catch a break during her time on Love Island, but it looks like her love life has just got a hell of a lot more exciting in recent weeks.

Following her split from Paul, Laura has caught the attention of one very popular Love Island contestant.

According to The Sun, Laura and former Love Island winner Max Morley are dating.

She even hinted at their blossoming romance on social media, confirming to fans that she had happily moved on from Paul: “I’ve moved on, I’m happily seeing someone else, which I have chosen to keep private.”

Out of all the Love Island couples from this year, Laura Anderson and Paul Knops kinda had my heart.

Why, you ask? Sure he only came in towards the end and tbh, didn't say a whole lot (like where did the nickname ''Cool Paul'' come from, huh?)

Anyway, Laura was the MVP of the show this year, acting like a dignified mature adult at times when I would have wanted to scream and throw a tantrum.

Which is why I was rooting for her happy ending with Paul, which is what seemed possible after they came second place after Jack and Dani.

Alas, they soon went their separate ways and had us all wondering why?!

Paul has opened up now about why they broke up, saying that 'he was looking for a wife', and he and Laura weren't compatible.

While they split last month, two months after they left the villa, both have remained silent on the matter..until now.

Paul said that Laura cried when he ended it and that they have not stayed friends. Poor Laura!

The 31-year-old was the one to pull the plug and has waited until now to dish the deets so to give Laura time to move on.

He revealed, ''we weren't compatible for each other. I knew I had to be 100 percent sure about it because you know – the next person you're with could potentially be your wife; you don't want to be unsure about it.''

"Of course she was upset; there were tears. "We aren't friends now – we haven't spoken, it is a sore subject.''

Ouch that doesn't sound like the best of break-ups, does it?

Fans soon started to wonder if Paul just saw Laura as an easy way to win the ITV show, something that he strongly denies.

He said, ''people blamed me of using her. How did I use her? We went on the same reality show. Laura wouldn't have come second without me and vice versa. I'm not that kind of person.''

Laura has remained a lot more tight-lipped on the whole situation, blaming conflicting work schedules and Paul's lack of effort as the reason they split.

She said, ''I was hoping we'd spend more time together and build a proper relationship out of the villa. It didn't happen.''

Laura, we think you're far better off without him – she is the real MVP of Love Island 2018, after all.

Last night, three of Love Island's most beloved stars descended on Dublin.

Samira Mighty, Laura Anderson and Kazamir Crossley flew in to attend a star studded bash for the  launch of the PS… Loves Easilocks collection, which lands in Penneys stores today.

The gals looked super glam, and decided to make a night of it before catching their 7am flight back to the UK.

The girls were each wearing Easilocks extension pieces from the new range, and took to the catwalk on the night in the RHC Gallery on Ely Place to showcase their new do's.

The trio partied at Dublin hotspot House, along with the Easilocks crew.

Despite Laura declaring she wasn't able for shots, the three indulged in a round of baby Guinness shots.

We've almost reached the finish line of Love Island 2018. And what an eight weeks it's been.

Tbh I'm glad it's almost done – while I have enjoyed it for the most part, I don't think I can stick any more of Dr Alex.

I felt SO BAD for him the first few weeks – he looked so awks and left out and I felt his pain, I really did.

But it turns out that just because he's a bit awkward does not mean he is a nice person.

And this whole first-impressions-can-be-deceiving thing also happened with me and  ''Old'' Laura (or ''First'' Laura as Twitter suggests, which sounds a helluva lot better.)

A post shared by Love Island (@loveisland) on

I sound like a right b*tch, but when she first entered the villa, I was like – nope, not gonna like her.

Then she was paired with Wes and for three weeks I couldn't imagine them with anyone else.

Okay, so she started to get a bit annoying and they started to bicker – but Wes was deffo a bit into Ellie when she arrived and if she hadn't given him the brush off, he would've left Laura in a heartbeat.

And Laura isn't stupid, so she knew this. Cue ego-knock number one.

Then, she experienced every girls worst nightmare when Wes dumped her for Megan, the girl that every guy wanted.

My mood between 9am and 5pm. #LoveIsland

A post shared by Love Island (@loveisland) on

So then she had to watch the guy she'd been coupled up with for almost a month, the guy who said, ''I think I'm falling for you'', the guy she shared the Hideaway with – be all over another girl in the same house as her.

That's gotta f*cking hurt. Cue ego-knock number two.

Suddenly, Hot Jack lands on the island and he is fab looking and seems fun.

He gravitates towards Laura and I'm so chuffed for her.

Her mate Georgia then KISSES Jack behind her back and LIES about it. Another knock for our Laura.

Jack then uses Laura just so she recouples with him and then as soon as two new girls come in – Stephanie and, of course, ''New'' Laura, his head is turned.

Jack obvs gets with the new girl and our Laura is left dumped for the second time in six weeks.

I know she isn't perfect and can be insecure at times – but who the hell can blame her? My self-esteem would be shattered if I was her.

But it was last night that she proved herself to be a genuinely good person who didn't deserve the sh*t she got.

She sat on the rooftop comforting New Laura – mere hours after said girl had humiliated her in the lie detector test (''Jack, who's a better kisser, me or Old Laura?'') Like, seriously.

How sound First Laura is hasn't been lost on Twitter, who seem to agree with me wholeheartedly.

People have written,''I genuinely think that she [Laura] is a brilliant and kind woman and that she’s only this way because she’s always mugged off by guys because of what she wants.''

Another one said, ''say what you want about old Laura, but even after new Laura put her down with the lie detector questions, she went and wiped her tears. what a brill woman'' and  ''she's had such a rough ride and been so gracious with those horrible girls (Megan and new Laura) Such a lovely girl.''

Laura, you're doing amazing sweetie, we're all rooting for ya!

Last night, the world watched in horror as Love Island's biggest drama to date unfolded.

Spoiler alert – if you haven't watched the most recent episode and don't want to know the gory details, I recommend you open a  new tab, watch the episode, and then return.

Megan and Eyal seemed like a pretty cute couple, cosying up on wine tasting dates and enjoying a night of passion in the hideaway.

However, last night, Megan expressed her desire to see other people, and move on from her fleeting dalliance wih the villa's self appointed spiritual guru.

Her head was turned, as the islanders are fond of saying, by the dishy Wes, but as we all know, Wes is currently coupled up with Laura – Megan's friend, who definitely has feelings for the the nuclear and electrical systems design engineer.

Megan quickly embarked on her mission to let Wes know she was interested, requesting a kiss from him in a private chat where she revealed to him that she liked him, and later securing said kiss during a tense game of Snog Marry Avoid.

Laura, understandably upset, dumped Wes and branded Megan a slew of slut shaming slurs (not her finest moment). Wes, as most male specimens do, went un-tarred and feathered by the promiscuity motivated put-downs.

Interestingly, it was what Megan said about her history of female-female friendships that stuck out to me about last night's drama-filled episode.

Megan told the cameras that she found it difficult to maintain gal pals because of instances like the one which just occurred. While it's completely fine if someone wants to place their pursuit of a romantic or sexual relationship over a friendship (frankly, the person being f*cked over by the friend and boyfriend in this situation deserves better) it's what Megan is implying by saying this that is concerning.

I think, that by saying that Megan has no interest in female friendships, she is tapping into an internalised misogyny that allows her to place other women on a lower tier than herself, a tier that she perhaps she feels she shares with the men in the villa.

It's a classic example of an 'I'm not like all the other girls' attitude. But I must ask, what the hell is so wrong with being like other women? And liking and respecting other women for their differences and their similarities?

What could be more humane than treating the feelings of all people you come into contact with with dignity and respect, regardless of gender. By saying the Megan cannot keep friendships with other women, it seems that she is blaming the 'silliness' of other women on this fact – a chilling throwback to the stereotypical notion of female hysteria of the 1950s.

Megan holds herself above the other women in the house and sees herself as the ultimate 'cool girl' by highlighting that she relates more to the men in the villa – which is reflected in her adamancy that the exploration of female sexuality is nothing to be ashamed of, on par with male sexual desire.

While she is absolutely right about that, saying: 'I’m a woman. I’m allowed to enjoy sex,' she seems to hold that standard only to herself, as we see reflected in her attempt to shame Laura for sleeping with more people than she has.

While the dating rules and lighting-speed relationships in the Love Island world are strikingly different to actual, realistic relationships, there is no doubt that the basic rules of common courtesy should apply.

A post shared by Laura Anderson  (@lauraanderson1x) on

Some call it the girl code, I just call it basic humanity. Laura definitely isn't my favourite character on the show (that would be the stunning Samira), but it is clear that she is an open and loving person who wants to be cared for in return, and Megan's mission of infiltration to destroy this on Laura for her own gain is plain mean.

No one likes to be usurped by a romantic rival, and judging by Megan's infuriatingly excited expression, it is clear that she holds Laura's feelings far below her own chance at a blossoming relationship, be it potentially fleeting or otherwise.

My suggestion to Megan would be that perhaps she has an inability to maintain female friendships because, rather than it being all the other women's faults, she's just not a very good friend.
