It seems that Wes Nelson is well and truly getting past his split from Megan Barton-Hanson.

The Love Island star was said to have been trying to kindle his relationship with Megan but was also reportedly acting single on nights out.

You can't have your cake and eat it, Wes.

So with Megan kicking him to the curb, he has found himself another GF.

Rumours swirled that he was in a relationship with Instagram model Alicia Roddy and now it looks like it's true.

The 21-year-old enjoyed a holiday to LA with Jack Fowler, and Alicia joined them for the trip.

Wes told US reporters, ''Everything’s chilling. I’m still dating Lissy. I’m not running into a relationship again.''

He continued, ''I know they’re putting a label on it as a girlfriend but obviously it’s nothing official yet, we’re still dating, it’s nothing like that yet.''

It seems like they're really into each other with Alicia jetting into LA  to attend an event with Wes.

According to OK! magazine, ''Things are going well for Wes and Lissy and the pair are now in Los Angeles at the same time for a BooHoo event. “While Wes has flown in with Jack and Lissy was with her friend Emily, they will definitely spend time together on the trip alone.''

With the way things are going, it might not be long before they're calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend…

I genuinely thought Wes n Megan were for keeps…or would be together longer than they were.

But alas, Dancing on Ice was to tear them apart and they called it quits.

Reports were only saying a few days ago that Wes was trying to win Meg back with messages saying he missed her and a romantic trip to Morocco.

Megan was morto apparently and didn't take the bait.

So it seems that Mr Nelson has moved on…to the biggest cliche of all: the Instagram model.

She is Alicia Roddy or Lissy Roddy on her account and is stunning, obvs.

Wes met the influencer following a fashion party in Dublin and is now smitten with the 24-year-old.

According to The Sun, ''Everyone thought Wes was secretly with his skating partner Vanessa Bauer, but that couldn't be further from the truth.''

They continued, ''He's been seeing Lissy for a few weeks now. Although it's early days – they've been inseparable and they're having a great time together."

It all just doesn't add up – he's been seeing her but trying to win his ex back?

Not surprisingly, Megan is confused by Wes behaviour – sending sappy messages but then acting like a single man.

We think that Megan can do SO much better so best of luck Wes with the single life – sure isn' t this the man who said, ''I'm happy, but could I be happier?''

Megan Barton-Hanson has spoken out to discuss the comparative comments made between her and Vanessa Baeur following her split from Wes Nelson.

Megan began dating Wes following their stint on last summer's season of Love Island. Wes was then cast on Dancing On Ice, where we was partnered up with Vanessa Baeur, a professional figure skater.

While Wes was on the show, he and Megan split, with many believing that Megan was not happy with Vanessa and Wes' budding friendship, after Megan posted to Instagram to chastise her for never introducing herself to Megan.

Speaking at The GLAMOUR Beauty Festival 2019, she discussed how hurt she had felt, after fans of both Love Island and Dancing On Ice made comparisons between Megan and Vanessa.

'I think a big thing was his Dancing On Ice partner. She is so the polar opposite to me, I've got a very womanly figure and I have curves, I don't go to the gym,' she said.

'She's very toned and athletic and natural and people are like: 'see that's who he deserves, a real natural person'.'

However, she does not believe that she and Wes ended based on anything as superficial as looks.

'I think Wes is, was, deeper than that. It's not about the outside shell…it's about the person you are in love with so I just have to put that to one side and you can't please everyone.'

Megan also detailed how her new found fame does not make her immune to the hurtful comments:

'I'm not going to lie, it hurts, I'm human. Just because I have a blue tick next to my name and on a show for a couple of weeks, it doesn't make me invincible, it still hurts.'

'Everyone will have their own opinion. Only me and him know what actually happened'

Wes Nelson has quashed any rumours that he and ex-girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson are making an attempt to get back together.

He did, however, reveal that they are now on civil terms, where as previously the split was marred with negativity from both parties.

We’re still separated and we’re not back together. We’ve spoken since, but not in that way,' Wes told new! magazine.

Speaking of their current status, he added: 'We’re on civil terms – before, it was not civil.'

Wes also discussed his feelings following the break up, and spoke of feeling embarrassed after her publicly got emotional about the break up on an episode of Dancing On Ice.

'It’s had a huge impact. Now that I’m a reality TV star it’s annoying that people don't see you as a real person. Twelve months ago, I was a nuclear design engineer and now I’m going through a breakup – that’s a normal thing for a 20-year-old lad.'

'Just because I’ve been on a TV show, it doesn’t mean my feelings aren’t real. I’m not doing anything for a publicity stunt, it’s just genuinely upsetting.'

'That’s why I was embarrassed to cry, because I didn’t want people to think, ‘he wants the sympathy vote.’'

Megan has not recently commented on the split, but did say that comments made on social media which compared her physically to Wes' DOI dance partner Vanessa Bauer we're extremely hurtful.

'It's okay to feel down sometimes, time a second brush yourself off, breathe and focus on the future.'

Megan Barton-Hanson has been painted the villain following her break up with Love Island co-inhabitant Wes Nelson.

Megan has been vocal about her feelings following the break up, expressing her feelings of anxiety after the very public demise of the relationship. She has now spoken to OK! about the reasons for their end:

We must admit we were quite surprised to hear of Georgia Steel’s and Sam Bird’s break-up this morning. The Love Island couple looked as happy as ever as they attended the ITV Palooza last night.

Fans were baffled by their announcement last night, especially because of how aloof the pair were.

Sam admitted he didn’t want to comment on the reason for the breakup, adding that he was too devastated to open up about it.

Rumour has it Georgia wasn’t loyal to her Love Island beau, which caused the pair to go their seperate ways.

A source close to the couple told OK! Magazine that Sam is heartbroken: “He truly believed that Georgia was the one.”

“After their experience on Love Island, leaving the show to be together and moving in their home – he thought him and Georgia would be together for the long run,” they revealed.

“In his eyes they had a good relationship. However, Sam has recently found out Georgia has not been loyal to him,” the source revealed.

Georgia commented on their break-up on Instagram stories last night, but never mentioned a reason for the split.

The rumours were true. One of our fave Love Island stars has signed up for Dancing On Ice and we are ridiculously excited about it.

There’s been a Love Island shaped hole in our hearts since Jack and Dani were crowned champions so we were thrilled to hear one of the Casa Amor residents will be returning to our screens very soon.

Dancing On Ice has confirmed Wes Nelson will be taking part in this year's show. The reality star will be gliding (or stumbling) around the ice in the coming months.

A TV source told The Sun: “Wes has boundless energy and he’s already displayed great rhythm on Love Island, so Dancing On Ice execs thought he’d be a great choice for the series.”

The producers knew the 20-year-old would be a perfect addition: “He has a huge social media following and bosses know that a lot of Love Island fans will be desperate to see how he does.”

Talk about cashing in!

Love Island might be over for another year but the reality TV stars that it has spawned are only getting started.

Fan (and personal) fave Wes Nelson might not have taken home the crown in the villa this summer but he might do so on another show before the year is out.

Wes has confirmed that he's been having talks about another big telly job but he's keeping his cards close to his chest for the moment.

The 20-year-old design engineer has become one of the nation's favourites from this year's Love Island and since leaving the villa with gf Megan Barton-Hanson, they have been probably the most-talked-about pair.

So it's no surprise really that the hilarious former Islander looks like he could be back on our screens before we know it.

As whispers for the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! line-up continue to swirl, what did Wes have to say about his potential involvement?

Wes said, ‘I’m doing a couple of TV shows, but they’re in discussion so you’ll have to wait and see. It’s all confidential but you’ll see.''

What about the jungle? He grinned, ''it's all but confidential but you’ll see.''

His gal Megan has decided to take another route and avoid the club PAs for a career in fashion.

The 24-year-old said, ''I've always loved fashion. I’m about to go to loads of shows at London Fashion Week, so that will be good. That’s how I want to rebrand myself.''

Looks like great things are ahead for this couple – good luck with it lads!
