Megan Barton-Hanson has been painted the villain following her break up with Love Island co-inhabitant Wes Nelson.

With headlines speculating whether or not the model had 'kidnapped' the couple's pet hamster, to that now infamous Instagram story directed at Wes' Dancing On Ice dance partner, things have not been so great for the reality TV alum.

Megan has been vocal about her feelings following the break up, expressing her feelings of anxiety after the very public demise of the relationship. She has now spoken to OK! about the reasons for their end:

'Our ambitions and goals in life are very different – Wes is younger than me and wrapped up in the fame bubble,' she explained to the mag.

'But I still love him, which is why it hurts so much.'

'I fought and fought and fought for Wes but he doesn’t love me back.'

She also expressed her annoyance at the producers of Dancing On Ice.

'The fact that the producers deliberately stirred things up by partnering Wes with the youngest, hottest girl annoyed me,' Megan said.

Like we all do, Megan hit the tiles last weekend after her break up with fellow Love Island star and gorge single gal Samira Mighty.

According to a source, Meg's night out has distracted Wes from his DOI commitments.

'Just when he thought it would get easier after the drama with Vanessa Bauer ended, he’s been faced with watching Megan go out and enjoy herself,' the source told The Sun.

'He’s been keeping himself distracted with his mates, but friends fear his skating might have suffered this week.'

The whole Ariana Grande 7 Rings tattoo debacle is honestly absurd, but yet it's STILL GOING. We're getting as bored of it as she is to be honest…

If you're puzzled about the reference, in summary our home-girl Ari tried to get a tattoo which translated to 7 Rings, her latest number one hit, but instead she accidentally got the Japanese symbol for a barbecue grill restaurant. Awkward.

She then tried to fix it after consulting a supposed friend of hers who spoke the lingo, but her amendment translated the ink to say 'Japanese BBQ finger'. We're dead.

The Thank U, Next singer has gained a HUGE amount of attention online over the error, but now a certain tattoo removal studio has offered her some serious cash to have them laser it off for her.

TMZ has acquired an offer letter from LaserAway, a company who want to strike a deal with Grande that would offer her free laser removal of the tattoo in exchange for a photoshoot at LaserAway and one post per month for a year about her experience.

Also, ONE and a HALF MILLION DOLLARS. How do they even have that money to offer in the first place?

In response, Ari tweeted; "I'll give y'all a million to get off my nuts." to which we say; "Hear, Hear." This needs to end, stat.

Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber's infamous manager, Scooter Braun, responded to the claims;

"I can't speak for Ariana as we have not received this letter, however, if they're willing to send me the offer, I'm sure I'd be happy to get a tattoo and then remove it real quick … for $1.5 million." Eh, WHAT?

Image; TMZ

Braun continued; "Hopefully, we can make this deal before her album comes out next week…shameless plug."

The offer letter is signed by company president, Todd Heckmann, and genuinely concludes with, "Thank u, next tiny barbecue grill." We can't.

What a wild ride…we want to get off now, it's becoming a bit much.

The highlight of The Golden Globe this year had to be the creation of the Fiji Water Girl meme.

Model and actress Kelleth Cuthbert went completely viral after she posed up a storm behind various high-profile celebs, all while working as a promotional model for the water brand.

According to The Blast, however, the model has just sued the Fiji Water Company and The Wonderful Company. She alleges that they created a marketing campaign based off her viral images without appropriate permission.

According to court documents which were obtained by The Blast, 'Fiji Water intentionally created cardboard cutouts for use in a cardboard cutout marketing campaign' one day after the awards.

It is alleged that the following day, after the marketing material had been distributed already, the company attempted to make a deal with the model's agent.

'This lawsuit is frivolous and entirely without merit,' a Fiji Water rep told Bustle.

'We are confident that we will prevail in Court. Throughout our history, we have had a sterling reputation working with talent.'

Cuthberth is reported to believe that she  made up to $12 million worth of brand exposure for Fiji, and is suing for monetary damages.

She has responded with her own statement on Twitter, saying: 'The decision to sue Fiji Water was a last resort for me, and I had hoped to discretely resolve this dispute.'

'Fiji Water used my image without a contract, without consent and without payment, all for their own financial gain.'

'Models make a living off the use of their image. No on would expect other professionals to work for free.'

'I only seek what is fair.'

Poor Demi, she can't seem to catch a break.

In case the news hasn't hit you yet, the rapper 21 Savage is set to be deported from the US due to claims of his British nationality. HE was allegedly born on the British colony of Dominica.

His real name is Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, and he was arrested on Sunday morning by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for reportedly overstaying his visa.

The Cool For The Summer singer has had to delete her Twitter after making a comment about the rapper's arrest and precarious situation.

A post shared by Saint Laurent Don (@21savage) on

The news of 21 Savage's possible deportation quickly spread online and became meme material. While Twitter was finding the whole thing hilarious, it stopped laughing the second Demi commented.

On Sunday night, she wrote to her Twitter; "So far 21 savage memes have been my favourite part of the Super Bowl."

Immediately, things went pretty dark for Demi. Offset appeared to subtweet her, saying; "ALL THE MEMES AND S–T AINT FUNNY WHEN SOMEBODY GOING THROUGH SOME," the Migos rapper wrote.

"PRAYING FOR MY DAWG AINT S–T FUNNY HIS FAMILY DEPENDING ON HIM."

The 26-year-old singer tried defending and clarifying herself in later tweets, but social media users were already attacking her with suicide and drug-related references.

"If you're gonna come at me for making a joke, try coming at me with some original, not involving drugs," she wrote. "F–k Twitter. This is why I don't tweet anymore."

The meme she was referencing was of an old-fashioned feather quill, because of his apparent British ancestry.

Image: @ddlovato/Instagram

Some of the tweets which targeted the singer were extreme, to say the least.

Image: @ddlovato/Instagram

People got pretty vicious against her online, considering many of those who threw hateful vitriol her way were previously laughing at 21 Savage memes themselves, or even making them.

Demi took to her Instagram to defend herself;

"Wasn't laughing at anyone getting deported. I know that's not a joke…not have I EVER laughed at that," she penned.  "The meme I posted/was talking about was of him being writing with a feather pen. Sorry if I offended anyone."

She continued, "It's no excuse to laugh at someone's addiction, let alone their OD."

Image: @ddlovato/Instagram

Yikes, things certainly escalated there, didn't they?

Dina LaPolt, 21 Savage's attorney, told E! News in a statement that they were;

"Working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with the authorities to clear up any misunderstandings."

If he is in fact British without a visa, it's a highly well-kept secret according to the internet.

LaPolt also stated that;

"Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in this country, especially in Atlanta, Georgia, and is actively working in the community-leading programmes to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy."

However, ICE have other things to say.

The federal agency also provided E! News with a statement later in the day, saying that his arrest was a "targeted operation." It wrote; "He is unlawfully present in the U.S. and also a convicted felon. His whole public persona is false."

Kit Harington has some intriguing information, to say the least. He KNOWS THINGS we don't; namely the Game of Thrones ending.

One of the biggest kept secrets in the entire universe, Kit has been carrying around some absolute bombs for months, and his poor wife has now been victim to the biggest one of all.

Jon Snow and Ygritte were (ARE) Game of Thrones' most tragic couple, and the real-life husband and wife are both highly invested in the show.

They're one of the cutest celebrity couples in the business, especially because their love onscreen was SO DAMN PALPABLE.

Harington has thanked the show in the past for bringing them together, speaking of how he fell in love with Rose after filming with her in Iceland.

During a radio appearance earlier in the week, Kit revealed the tension which still resides between him and his wife over the show…

Rose is a major Game of Thrones fan, considering her past role in the show. Naturally, she was curious about how the show ends, most likely since her husband is now smooching the Mother of Dragons.

She asked her hubby how she show ends, and he (stupidly) indulged her questions. BIG mistake, Kit.

According to Entertainment Weekly, he said, “I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days…and she’d asked!”

We're not quite sure if her reaction means that the ending is happy or tragic, but we're assuming tragic. George R. R. Martin and the showrunners are cruel men, they kill off everyone we love.

Kit Harington previously said he was satisfied with the iconic HBO series' ending, but refused to say if he was happy or sad about it. So it's 100 percent sad.

We're fairly sure Jon Snow isn't the only person to let slip TV's mother of all secrets. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, also told her nearest and dearest the ending too.

Would you tell your significant other, or parents, the finale spoilers? We probably would, TBH.

11 Amazing Benefits of Filtered Water

On average our body needs 2 litres of water on daily basis. Moreover, drinking water can bless us with physical and even mental benefits to some extent. Some people ask, what are the benefits of drinking water for the skin? Some ask what the benefits of drinking water are in the morning. Well, there are many benefits of drinking purified water. If you drink tap water or bottled water, then there is a possibility that you will not get much of the benefits. So, ladies, let’s dive into the eleven amazing benefits of drinking filtered water.

Heavy Metals in Water
Mercury, lead and arsenic are some of the heavy metal substances. These are harmful to your body. We all have heard about mercury poisoning. Well, imagine what would happen if these metals were in your drinking water. It seems like these metals are frequently found in tap water. If you want to save yourself and your children from these harmful substances, then go for filtered water.

Chlorinated Water
Most of the water suppliers use chlorine to clean up water. Though it helps in removing dangerous bacteria and everything, it can also be harmful to human health. A study suggests that chlorinated water increases the risk of having cancer. So, save yourself and your loved ones by avoiding chlorinated water and drinking filtered water.

Environment Pollution says Hi
If you are using plastic water bottles as a source of drinkable water, then you are playing a role in environmental pollution. It does not matter whether or not you are recycling bottles or not. Plastic bottle production is a matter of environment pollution. So, be friendly towards the environment and drink filtered water.

Having Acid Reflux?
Ph level of water can play a role in acidity. Drinking water should have a Ph level of around 7. But the Ph level of tap waters varies from area to area. In some areas, the Ph levels of 8.8 have been found. Filters have the capability to reduce this Ph level. So, there goes down the chance of having water-related acidity.

Want Better Tea?
Tea flavor increases dramatically in filtered water. It might be because of the Ph level and heavy metals. You can verify this yourself by getting a cup of tea made from filtered water.

Tap Water might stink
There are many reasons on why a glass of water may stink. Whatever the reasons maybe it is near to impossible to drink odorous water. The possibility of having an odor in filtered water is pretty low. So, if you want to enjoy a glass of water without wanting to throw up, then filtered water is your thing.
This next benefit is my personal favorite as it most directly connected with our daily lives.

Money Saver
Yeah, you got the term right. Filtered water saves money. Nowadays people are more inclined towards bottled water. However, one bottle of water is not so much cost effective as we thought. A general belief is that it takes much to install a filtration system. But remember that it is a onetime expense. Bottled water can be around 30 times more expensive than the same amount of filtered water. Now, just think how much more you can do with all that money saved up from water expenses. So, another point goes to filtered water in this competition of filtered water vs bottled water.

High Hydration Level
Hydration means the process of causing something to absorb water. You might have a question in your mind. What does it have to do with filtered water? A 2010 study has proved that filtered water has a high level of hydration. Though it seems odd, it is true. Filtered water helps you to absorb water more quickly.

Anti-Oxidants
Anti-oxidants are very helpful and much needed for our human bodies. Filtered water helps you in this too. There is a scale called Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP). Simply put, the lower something score in this scale the better it is. And guess what filters lower the ORP level of waters.

By now I guess you are convinced that filtered water is the best water available out there. But go through a few extra points if want to convince others about drinking filtered water.

Lime Scale Reduction
Have you ever noticed the hard layers that fall beneath the water while boiling? That is limescale. In some areas tap water contains a high amount of limescale. Sometimes even bottled waters contain high levels of limescale. Filters are here to save you again. Filtered waters tend to have a low level of limescale. So, another point for filtered water.

Skin Health Helper
Ladies, we know how precious our skins are. Sometimes water alone changes the whole condition of our skin. If you care about your skin even a bit, then you will reduce the amount of tap water application on your skin.

How to Make Filtered Water
There are many ways to filter water. The best way is to install a proper filtrations system. Also, if you want to get water filtered on the go, then you can get a filtered water bottle for travel. Whatever you get, try to get the best thing available out there. Go through proper product reviews.

Bottom Line
You have learned about a lot of benefits about filtered water. If you think that drinking tap water or bottled water is worth the risk of hampering the health of you and your loved ones, then go ahead. If you think that you must keep everyone around you, healthy, then go and install a filtration system. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

Introducing the internet’s new boyfriend: Noah Centineo.

He has taken over the job in 2018 through two new Netflix teen romance films: To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (adorable, American-Asian leading actress) and Sierra Burgess Is A Loser (glamorizing catfishing, just sayin’).

After starting off on the Disney Channel when he was a teen, and appearing in Camilla Cabello’s music video for ‘Havana’ in 2017, his career has only really propelled itself this year after emerging as a charming and endearing male lead, which the people of 2018 are apparently craving.

The role of Peter Kavinsky, the jock with the heart of gold, has caused his profile to skyrocket, and the world has pretty much swooned permanently ever since. A high school athlete who somehow has a sensitive streak matched with respect for boundaries is a formula for success when it comes to rom-coms.

Troy Bolton was the original, let’s not forget that, but Noah Centineo makes it more believable. Past internet boyfriends include Tom Holland, Timothée Chalamet, Oscar Isaac and Benedict Cumberbatch.

It’s essentially a celebrity that the entire internet lusts after even though the reality is that there is pretty much zero chance of any possible relationship.

Hence, the entire internet claims him as property of social media users to share as the Internet Boyfriend. See below for the Urban Dictionary definition:

“How does one become an internet boyfriend?” we hear you ask. It seems to be elements of protectiveness over a male actor who has reached hearthrob status through a film role, usually where he shows any shred of emotional intelligence as the character.

The reason why fans have been reacting so well to Noah Centineo’s label as the new internet boyfriend is most likely because, after the TimesUp and Me Too movements, the online community are craving someone who gives off a safe and unassuming air, paired with purposefully messy brown hair of course.

Noah Centineo has perfected the art of the longing gaze, the smile that would melt anyone’s heart and the social media presence with both vague and romantic captions (presumably so each fan believes that deep down he’s really talking to them instead of the world wide web…)

A post shared by Noah Centineo (@ncentineo) on

Some of his best poetic (sappy?) Instagram captions include: ‘She melts my heart’, ‘I can’t abandon the person I used to be so I carry him’ and my personal favourite: ‘Remember that blessings may come in the form of tragedy, speak gratitude into the darkness and feel the echo beating in your heart.’

His tweets are just as romantic, fuelling the rapid heartbeats of teenagers worldwide.

Hmmm, we’re starting to see a trend here with the ‘lovingly stares at love interest co-star’ move.

He’s really nailing the ability to convince the world that him and his co-star are genuinely loved up, to be fair. Internet boyfriends are usually temporary, with the fan base losing the fantasy adoration over time and then a new handsome, charming film star will emerge from relative anonymity to newfound fame and marriage proposals from people he’s never met.

Between his gushing about working cast mates such as Lena Condor, his goofy and humble attitude in interviews, and videos of him playing with puppies, it’s hardly surprising he has caused international infatuation.

Noah Centineo’s earnest charm is a refreshing change from going online and seeing the newest accusations of sexual misconduct from some of the most beloved actors in Hollywood. Let’s pray he doesn’t do something to ruin it.

Admit it, you've looked at your favourite influencer on social media and longed to have their lives.

Influencers show off the latest fashion trends, gorgeous foods, extensive beauty regimens and exotic holidays, and we all know very well that it would be impossible to achieve for your average Jane at this exact moment in time.

At the moment, Lissette Calveiro, a 26-year-old Instagram influencer, is speaking out about the fact that her quest for Instagram perfection left her in huge financial debt, after she splashed out on travel and up-to-date clothing to maintain the unrealistic expectations set by the world's most profitable social media stars.

A post shared by Lissette Calveiro (@lissettecalv) on

Lissette found herself over €10,000 in credit card and loan debt in pursuit of the portrayal of an idealistic lifestyle for her followers, and in the hopes of growing her influence.

'Nobody talks about [his or her] finances on Instagram,' she told the NY Post. 'It worries me how much I see girls care about image.'

'I was shopping…for clothes to take "the perfect 'gram."'

Lissette found that trying to keep up with the curated, charmed-appearing lifestyle portrayed on influencer's feeds was a one-way ticket to debt.

A post shared by NüPurse (@nupurse) on

So, if a normal person was to live up to the the marble-backdropped, professionally photographed lifestyle aspiration that influencers set, how much would it cost a year?

There are a number of factors to take into consideration here. First up – influencers with a massive authentic following and engagement get there through hard work and dedication, and that can pay off in paychecks in the hundreds of thousands.

So, for the world's most popular influencers, there is a s*it tonne of money to be made and spent, hence their lifestyles which are unrealistic for the majority who cannot charge tens of thousands of euro for a sponsored Instagram post.

Secondly, people are entitled to spend their money any which way they see fit.

A post shared by St. Moriz  (@stmoriz) on

If someone wants to spend their hard-earned cash on the same designer bag in multiple colours or use it to travel the globe, then good for them.

However, with many young people looking up to influencers more than traditional celebrities, it's notable to say that people can be left feeling deflated when they're looking down at their microwaved leftover curry on a Friday night when Instagram is showing their favourite blogger on a rooftop in Rome toasting to life with a bottle of vintage champagne and a gold-leaf speckled dessert.

Comparison really is the thief of joy, but if you were to drop everything and start living your life exactly like an influencer does without all the influence to accumulate free holidays and clothes, here are the various costs you would have to factor in:

A post shared by Sarah (@shopwearrepeat) on

Designer Key Pieces

Most fashion influencers have a rotation of designer items they swap out for high-street pieces every now and again.

In fact, bloggers are so known for their love affair with designer arm candy, that Saint Laurent even has a bag named after them which many of them carry unironically – The Blogger Bag, which retails for around €750.

Another influencer favourite has to be Gucci, and it's a toss up between the Marmont handbag and the Double G belt for who which item gets the most influencer attention. These covetable (and unattainable for many) designer pieces are the finishing touches to OOTDs and the key piece for flatlays, but their cost is pretty astronomical. The most affordable Gucci belts start from €260, while the Marmont can cost around €1,980.

This is just one designer alone, with other blogger faves including the Chloe Faye bag, €1,490, and the Prada Cahier bag, €2,400.

While not even the biggest influencers have all of, or even any of, these pieces, most influencers showcase their hard-earned designer tidbits with pride.

To purchase a new designer bag every season and one belt, you're looking at around a quarter of most graduate's annual salary.

Total cost: €6840.00

Personal Training

For many influencers, fitness is a huge part of their branding. They work to make themselves as fit and healthy as possible, to promote positive health habits in their followers.

Oftentimes, influencers let us in on their exercise sessions, which are almost always with the most exclusive personal trainers money can buy.

With a month of personal training coming in at around €800 per month for 12 sessions, you're looking at a huge sum over the course of the year.

And with some of Ireland's top PTs rumoured to charge up to €250 per week, you could be looking at even more.

Of course, you could find much more budget friendly trainers at the click of a mouse, but we're going for aspirational here, not affordable.

Total cost: €9600.00

Events Wardrobe

It seems like influencers never wear the same thing twice when it comes to events.

Most bloggers are lucky enough to be gifted their gowns, but sometimes they fork out for their own outfit.

With a gorge dress from a Dublin boutique like Folkster or Starla coming in at around €100 a pop, attending these types of awards or formal events can add up if you're buying a new piece for each occasion.

There seems to be an awards ceremony or formal red carpet event happening every single month, so if you had to buy your own dress to go with your invite, you'd soon be in the red.

Total cost: €1500.00

ASOS Embroidered Maxi Dress €162.16, Amara dress €105.00, Loni gown €149.95

Skincare

Now more than ever, people are looking after their skin with professional intervention.

Facials have been around for decades, but now light therapy acne-blasting facials and preventative ageing therapies are increasingly popular among young people.

We're consistently invited into the spa with our fave influencers, to see what kind of trendy skincare they're opting for. Be it the vampire facial or a Korean skin care method, influencers often sell us makeup and beauty products using their faces, so these kind of professional treatments can be used to keep them in tip-top shape.

A customised facial can cost up to €150 at a Dublin spa, and with the vampire facial costing €450 is some places, keeping skin looking luxurious can be costly.

As well as skincare, professional makeup artists are sometimes hired (if the influencer themselves isn't a MUA) to create the most up-to-date makeup looks for events.

Total cost: €1500.00

Rent in a Capital City

With many fashion, beauty and media companies making the capital city their home, the events these brands throw are nearly always in an expensive main city.

The cost of living in Dublin is exceptionally high right now, so if an influencer wanted to move to the big smoke to be closer to their agency or events, they would be looking at spending in or around €800 per month on rent like the rest of us mere mortals.

Total cost €9600.00

Laser Hair Removal

Oftentimes, influencers work with laser hair removal clinics to promote their high-tech services.

From leg lasering to more delicate areas like underarms and bikini lines, you'd be hard pressed to find a beauty influencer who hasn't gone under the diode.

If you went on Groupon and went with some deals, you could get it all done for under a grand.

However, many of the clinics that bloggers work with charge more than this for certain treatments.

Total cost: €918.00

Travel Expenses

This one is a hard one to put a number on.

Most trips taken by popular influencers seem to be press trips or sponsored trips, be that to the Maldives' most affluent resorts or to Vegas for a launch party.

With one trip to the USA setting you back around €1,000 for flights alone, and tropical resorts charging around €6,000 for a week's stay, you'd have to be on serious money to be able to vacation like an Instagram celebrity.

It's really difficult to establish an exact sum for this one, so I'm going with €20,000 annually on travel as an estimate.

Total cost: €20,000

Lash and Hair Extensions

Eyelash and hair extensions are seen my many as essential entities in their beauty regimen, and influencers are no different.

Lashes from influencer favourite Christoph Eye Couture cost between €80 and €120 for around one months wear.

Hair extensions, be they for length or volume, need to be redone around four times a year, costing between €150 and €400 quid depending on who you go to.

Total cost: €2640.00

Aesthetic Procedures

Be it botox, lip fillers or the 15-minute nose jobs, some influencers use their transparency with their audience to discuss their use of more invasive beauty procedures.

Lip fillers have seen a dramatic increase on Irish shores, and many of our favourite influencers perpetuate the beauty ideal of having full lips and wrinkle-free skin. However, not all influencers have had work done, but this is just a hypothetical.

The trend skyrocketed in early 2015, just after cosmetics queen Kylie Jenner admitted to her penchant for the procedure, and since then, there has been much more visibility for fillers.

Lip injections can cost up to €350 for 1ml of solution, which is around the maximum a responsible aesthetician will administer in one sitting.

Top ups are required 2-3 times per year depending on how quickly your body breaks down the substance. If you opted for fillers alone, you could spend over a grand pluming your pout for the year.

Please note, Nurses should be registered with the Nursing And Midwifery Board Of Ireland(NMBI), dentists with The Irish Dental Council (IDC) and doctors with theIrish Medical Council in order to administer lip fillers.

Total cost: €1,050.00

Up-to-the-minute Tech

Influencers are digital nomads, using their phones, cameras and photographic equipment to take their highly curated images.

Their phones are the medium through which they influence, so it's probably important to have the newest smartphone to maintain camera quality and ease of use.To repurchase one new iPhone every year will set you back around €1,000.

Next up, we have the professional camera, light boxes and tripods used for YouTube videos. Oh, and a drone to capture those ethereal arial holiday shots. You can probably get a decent camera, tripod, lighting and memory drive bundle for around €800, but that drone is going to set you back at least €1,000. Oh, and the Go-Pro to attach to it.

There are also photo shoots for the all-important blog with professional photographers to consider, which could cost up to €100-200 per session. If you're creating two OOTD blog posts a week, you could rack up a fee of almost €5,000 on professional photography. We might just opt for an Instagram boyfriend…

Total cost €7,850.00

Eating Out and Cocktails

Instagram is littered with tummy-rumbling snaps of gooey toasted cheeses, eggs benny and bursting burgers, but eating out every other day doesn't come cheap.

Most of us brunch on the regular, but bloggers seem to enjoy their brunches together weekly. This can add up when you add it to the bill of aesthetic street food, gorge doughnuts and coconut-flat-white latte art we see on the regular.

Brunch at influencer hot spot Wilde will set you back a reasonable €30 a pop if you included a delish beverage, totalling around €120 a month if you're an avid bruncher.

If we add another €100 to that monthly total to include coffees, pastries and snacks on the go between meetings, the annual bill climbs.

Total cost: €2640.00

Home Interiors

Many influencers adhere to a certain Instagrammable aesthetic when it comes to home decor.

Plenty of marble counters, botanical accents and rose-gold metal work.

Luckily, Penneys and the like do a range of affordable, 'grammable homewear, so this isn't your priciest bill if you play your cards right.

You could do your room up to Instagrammer standard with around a hundred quid, plus another €30 for a roll of marble wrapping paper to do your Instagram flatlays on.

Total cost: €130.00

So, to attempt to adhere to a stereotypical 'influencer lifestyle,' you're looking at around double the annual income of a graduate per year – €64,268.00.

The style and beauty aspects of an influencer aesthetic could cost you around €25,000 per year according to these estimates.

We'd need to be selling a lot of sponsored Instagrams to come up with that sum. Luckily for bloggers, many of their experiences are complimentary, but as Lisette said, finances are rarely discussed with transparency (I mean, your money is your business)  so we rarely consider what it could really cost to live like a jet-setting Snapchat superstar when we're comparing their sun-drenched Instagram snaps to our daily, rainy commute.

So, I'm sure we can all agree that sleeping with a housemate is (for the most part) a bad idea.

It's messy, it's awkward, and it's more hassle than it's worth.

But, that's not stopping us.

A new study conducted by Web Blinds, which looked at the reasons why housemates split up, found that over 20 per cent of people admitted to having a sexual encounter with a house mate.

They surveyed almost 3000 UK adults who had previously lived in shared accommodation and found that one in five had gotten frisky with a living partner at one stage or another.

What's more, over half of those admitted that either themselves or their house mate had been in a relationship with someone else when the encounter took place.

According to Marie Claire, less than 25 per cent of these 'housemate-with-benefits' relationships led to an actual romance, and were actually noted as the second most popular reason a house share didn't work out.

Unrequited love was another big one with one in ten participants admitting they had fallen for a house mate who didn't feel the same way.

Check out top ten reason why housemates split below.
