Let's get real for a second; Arya Stark is the Game of Thrones GOAT. No doubt about it. So why shouldn't we expect to be given more badass ninja assassin content from HBO, considering she's a fan fave?

In the series finale, which divided critics and fans alike, Arya told her family that she wouldn't be returning to Winterfell. Instead, she decides to go off the maps, to discover what's "west of Westeros".

"Nobody knows," she ponders. "That's where all the maps stop. That's where I'm going." Maisie Williams has played the role for a decade, but HBO bosses have since shut down our hopes for a spin-off.

The final shots of the baby Stark sis shows Arya boarding a ship, looking very much in charge. HBO programming president Casey Bloys dashed everyone's hopes in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, and we may cry.

When asked about everyone's favourite ninja getting her very own show, Bloys said;

"Nope, nope, nope. No. Part of it is, I do want this show- this Game of Thrones, Dan and David's show- to be its own thing. I don't want to take characters from this world that they did beautifully and put them off into another world with someone else creating it.

"I want to let it be the artistic piece they've got."

With three Game of Thrones prequel projects in the works at HBO, this isn't the last we'll be seeing of author George RR Martin's humongous literary world.

"That's one of reasons why I'm not trying to do the same show over," Bloys added.

"George has massive, massive world; there are so many ways in. That's why we're trying to do things that feel distinct- and to not try and re-do the same show. That's probably one of the reasons why, right now, a sequel or picking up any of the other characters doesn't make sense for us."

We see his point, but can't forgive him for depriving us of more iconic scenes surrounding the assassin.

From her butchering of Walder Frey, stabbing the Night King and banter with the Hound to her Many Faced God training and ruthless attitude; her character has become a cultural icon.

Maise Williams spoke to ET ahead of season eight, and opened up about saying goodbye to the show, where she began working at age 12.

"It was just really emotional. You can start to get yourself so down on everything, being like, 'This is the last time I'm gonna read scripts. This is the last time I'm going to be in this location.' I got to a point where I had to stop doing that, because then I was just going to have a nervous breakdown."

The 22-year-old actress explained that she found herself "putting off" her last scene, where she sails into a new world.

"I watched so many people wrap and cry. I had to like, stay out of that emotion because there was so much to do- like, some really difficult scenes to do. And then I wrapped and I was emotional," she recalled. "I really did feel numb."

"That's when my numbness came, and then it wasn't until like a week later that I was like- you know when you’re just doing something and then you drop a spoon? I was like , 'Ahhhhhhh!' like, overreacting entirely and I just felt like an insane person a little bit," she added.

Understandable, seeing as her entire adolescence was spent on a huge set playing a teenaged murderer seeking vengeance for her father's death and family's demise. SOB.

Let's watch some of Arya's most badass moments below to reminisce on her legendary nature, while trying not to cry:

The countdown is officially on for the final season of HBO's hit show Game of Thrones.

The fantasy franchise, which is based on the George R. R. Martin book series, has fans in a FRENZY awaiting the return of their favourite (and most likely doomed) characters.

The broadcaster unveiled which of our token loved ones wil be popping up on April 14, as Westeros comes together (let us pray) to fight The Night King.

They may have to sit tight, as Vladimir Furdik, AKA The Night King and leader of the white walkers, is ABSENT from the season eight premiere, but don't relax yet.

It's been almost two long years since the season seven finale, and there are just six episodes left to go until we see who sits on the Iron Throne. There will be plenty of action, with the Night King or not.

Season seven saw the army of the dead blasting the wall down with their new phantom ice dragon (RIP), so we're surprised that the Night King seemingly has no feature at all in episode one.

Furdik mentioned in an interview that the biggest battle television has ever seen will begin two episodes later, so his screen time is more than secure.

He spoke to Hungarian website Sorozat Wiki and let the GOT cat out of the bag:

"In the third part of the last season, there is a battle that the creators intend to be the biggest in television history. Almost the full episode will be about the battle, it will take about an hour."

The GOT cast list has since been deleted, but two surprising faces are returning to bring joy to many fans; Tobias Menzies and Lino Facioli, as Edmure Tully and Robin Arryn. Menzies is about to star as Prince Philip in The Crown.

Entertainment Weekly somehow managed to watch filming one of the key scenes, and confirmed that some very unexpected old names are in the mix;

There are characters in the finale that I did not expect, I gradually begin to piece together what has happened in Westeros over the previous five episodes and try not to look like I’m freaking out."

Game of Thrones returns to HBO and Sky Atlantic on April 14, get ready for the most drama you'll see in our lifetime.

A few months ago, Will Smith appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly alongside the stars of Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin, and people had something to SAY.

Basically, he wasn't blue, and this deeply offended the general public. Like, DEEPLY offended. Scuba diving in the Pacific deep.

He took to Instagram to defend himself, writing; "I’m gonna be BLUE! This is how the Genie is in human or disguise form. My character will be CGI most of the movie."

However, during the Grammy's ad-break last night, a new trailer for the movie was released and once again, fans ain't happy.

Disney managed to sneak in a minute-long trailer featuring Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Mena Massoud in the protagonist role. Will Smith's turn as the Genie has EVERYONE talking.

The 50-year-old actor is under a lot of pressure, taking over the reboot role from Robin Williams' iconic performance.

Sharing his own reaction to the trailer release, Will wrote on Instagram: "I told y’all I was gon’ be Blue!! Y’all need to trust me more often!"

When he accepted the role, the actor said: "Whenever you’re doing things that are iconic, it’s always terrifying. The question is always: Where was there meat left on the bone? Robin didn’t leave a lot of meat on the bone with the character."

The 1992 animation starred Robin Williams, and became especially iconic for his role in the voice acting and music.

The memes have already begun flowing in, and we are entertained to say the least.

Even Judge Judy was dragged into the hilarity:

The reactions are pure gas:

Paul Giamatti from the iconic Frankie Munez flick Big Fat Liar was even used:

Viewers weren't READY:

The poor man is getting dragged, by his own Shark Tale character:

We feel a bit sorry for him…

Do you think he deserves all this slagging? We don't think so, but by GOD are we enjoying the memes. Keep 'em coming, people.

Aladdin is set for release on 24 May, so we'll see what the reaction is to the full flick in due course.

Kit Harington has some intriguing information, to say the least. He KNOWS THINGS we don't; namely the Game of Thrones ending.

One of the biggest kept secrets in the entire universe, Kit has been carrying around some absolute bombs for months, and his poor wife has now been victim to the biggest one of all.

Jon Snow and Ygritte were (ARE) Game of Thrones' most tragic couple, and the real-life husband and wife are both highly invested in the show.

They're one of the cutest celebrity couples in the business, especially because their love onscreen was SO DAMN PALPABLE.

Harington has thanked the show in the past for bringing them together, speaking of how he fell in love with Rose after filming with her in Iceland.

During a radio appearance earlier in the week, Kit revealed the tension which still resides between him and his wife over the show…

Rose is a major Game of Thrones fan, considering her past role in the show. Naturally, she was curious about how the show ends, most likely since her husband is now smooching the Mother of Dragons.

She asked her hubby how she show ends, and he (stupidly) indulged her questions. BIG mistake, Kit.

According to Entertainment Weekly, he said, “I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days…and she’d asked!”

We're not quite sure if her reaction means that the ending is happy or tragic, but we're assuming tragic. George R. R. Martin and the showrunners are cruel men, they kill off everyone we love.

Kit Harington previously said he was satisfied with the iconic HBO series' ending, but refused to say if he was happy or sad about it. So it's 100 percent sad.

We're fairly sure Jon Snow isn't the only person to let slip TV's mother of all secrets. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, also told her nearest and dearest the ending too.

Would you tell your significant other, or parents, the finale spoilers? We probably would, TBH.

Thank the Lord, we're getting the answers to all of our 2019 questions.

The main question, of course, being: Where the hell are Lindsay Lohan's iconique characters RIGHT THIS MOMENT?

Strap yourselves in, gals. Lindsay spoke to Entertainment Weekly about her thoughts on the roles, and her answers seem pretty legit.

Take a look at what the former child-star had to say, some of her answers may surprise you:

Anna Coleman: Freaky Friday

Anna Coleman was the cool gal we all wanted to be, with Jamie Lee Curtis playing the famous role of Anna's badass mom.

lindsay lohan disney GIF

"Anna Coleman is now running for office. Secretary of State, with Michelle Obama probably and Oprah Winfrey. In 2020, so be sure to vote for her."

Hallie Parker and Annie James: The Parent Trap

Her most infamous child star role, where Lohan played twins living in separate worlds who have NO IDEA they're related until they meet at camp and switch places.

"I think that they've swapped. I think Hallie is in London as a parenting counsellor, and then Annie is in California running a vineyard."

Maggie Peyton: Herbie Fully Loaded

The aspiring race car driver whose life is changed by her car, Herbie. Who can forget this character?

"Maggie Peyton is now the VP of Tesla."

Ashley Albright: Just My Luck

The gal who got to smooch none other than Chris Pine, and get her luck turned golden at the same time. We're jelly.

"Ashley Albright is running a fashion house. She's like a Diane Von Furstenburg with really good luck."

Aubrey Fleming: I Know Who Killed Me

Aspiring pianist and writer Aubrey disappears on a night out in the 2007 psychological thriller, and yet another random twin who was separated at birth turns up.

"So there's two ways I can go with this, because we didn't know if she had a sister or not. One is six feet under, the other one is FBI. They've both changed their names, so it's CIA, FBI and they're friends with Anna Coleman. So they're taking over the White House."

Cady Heron: Mean Girls

Cady is arguably the most famous character in the Lindsay Lohan repertoire, and lately featured as part of Ariana Grande's iconic Thank U, Next music video.

Im New Cady Heron GIF

"Cady Heron is definitely back in Africa building homes for orphan gorillas. For sure, obviously."

Elizabeth 'Lola' Steppe: Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

The Broadway obsessed 15-year-old gal played by Lohan who gets embroiled in the New Yorker life with Megan Fox.

thegoodfilms GIF

"Lola would be a director on Broadway. She'd be directing Mean Girls right now, duh."

Rachel Wilcox: Georgia Rule

Rachel's a rebel who gets caught up in drug use, sex and drinking at 17. Jane Fonda plays the badass granny who turns Rachel's life around.

lindsay lohan movie s GIF

"Rachel would be a lawyer, definitely a female activist, for sure."

Casey Stuart: Life Size

The tomboy who plays quarterback on the seventh grade football team. Casey sets the world into crazy mode by trying to RESURRECT her dead mother. Yup, that was a plot-line, with Tyra Banks.

life size lindsey lohan GIF

"Casey would be living in Texas dating a really famous football player. She'd be friends with Giselle and Tom Brady, they'd have kids parties together.

So there you have it: a comprehensive breakdown of every Lindsay Lohan character's lives in modern day.

According to the woman herself; "I'm pretty sure they could put every character together and create a really good Capitol Hill office."

Hmm, interesting notion. The standard at the moment doesn't exactly seem sky high to be fair…

Check out the original video below;

As far as modern-day Lindsay Lohan herself goes… who know's what character's she'll decide to play next.

In the wise words of Jamie Lee Curtis:
