Celebrities posting images which aren't airbrushed, photoshopped or edited in any way is a rarity, but one singer is now taking a stand against body-shaming once and for all.

27-year-old singer and actress Demi Lovato has had her struggles when it comes to loving her body, but now she has conquered her 'biggest fear' by revealing an unedited bikini photo with cellulite included.

"I'm just literally soooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited—and I hate that I did that but it's the truth) so that others think I'm THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it's just not me," she wrote in a lengthy caption.

"This is what I got," she said of her motivations to share the photo. "I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else's standards."

"Guess what, it’s CELLULITE!!! So here’s me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day," the star continued.

"It’s such a great feeling to be back in tv/film while not stressing myself with a strenuous workout schedule before 14 hour days, or depriving myself from a real birthday cake rather than opting for watermelon & whip cream with candles because I was terrified of REAL cake and was miserable on some crazy diet shit."

Lovato is guest-starring in the final series of Will and Grace, which marks her long-awaited return to the screen after suffering from a drug overdose last year and almost losing her life.

The incident was heavily publicised and saw the singer take a break from social media while she attended a rehabilitation facility for addiction. The Confident singer concluded the post by teasing new music;

"Anyway, here’s me, RAW, REAL! And I love me. And you should love you too! Now back to the studio. I’m working on an anthem. Just so everyone’s clear.. I’m not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that’s the best I can do. I hope to inspire someone to appreciate their body today too."

Demi Lovato has revealed that she will join the upcoming season of Will & Grace, posting a photo of herself reading a script on the NBC show's set.

The 27-year-old pop star revealed the news to her Instagram fans on Tuesday, captioning the image; "Will & Grace & Demi  @nbcwillandgrace #WillandGrace."

Many of us will remember Demi as a former Disney Channel star, acting as Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2 alongside the Jonas Brothers.

The network revealed exclusively to Us Weekly that the Cool for the Summer singer will appear in three episodes during the upcoming and final season of the reboot.

The publication reports that she has accepted the role of Jenny, a "guarded woman who comes into the life of Will (Eric McCormack) in an unexpected way."

The reboot is set to air in 2020, with McCormack tweeting his excitement at the prospect of acting alongside the star;

"First shot with Ms Demi Lovato! #WillandGrace," the 56-year-old actor tweeted.

This will be Demi's first on-screen appearance since the 2016 show From Dusk til Dawn: The Series. Lovato also voiced a character in 2018's animated film Charming.

She is also apparently filming a new comedy for Netflix with Will Ferrell, Eurovision, and is gearing up to release a new album where she will tell her personal truth.

The singer said to her followers in June on her Instagram Story;

“You know what’s great about making an album? You get to say anything you want, be as open and honest as possible and finally tell your side of the story regardless of who might not like it.”

It'll be the Skyscraper singer's first music release since suffering a near-fatal overdose last year and attending rehabilitation facilities.

Taylor Swift is allegedly intending to re-record new versions of her old songs after Scooter Braun bought her entire back catalogue of music.

Swift revealed back in June that the masters of her early music had been sold to the manager by her former record label, Big Machine Records, and claimed she wasn't informed about it.

The Lover singer accused Braun of  "incessant, manipulative bullying", which he has denied. Braun manages stars like Justin Bieber, who controversially leapt to his defence, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.

Swift has said that she "absolutely" plans to re-record music from her first six albums, which were massively successful.

During an interview with the CBS Sunday Morning show, she was asked whether she planned to re-record the old material so she could own the rights to new versions.

"Yeah, absolutely," she replied. The singer began her career as a teenager, and released six albums with the Nashville label. Braun's Ithaca Holdings acquired Big Machine Records in June.

Swift accused him of attempting to "dismantle" her "musical legacy". Braun was later supported by Lovato and Bieber, who claimed Swift was just out "to get sympathy".

Taylor signed with Universal Music last year, writing: "I am now signed to a label that believes I should own anything I create." Halsey and Kelly Clarkson both stood up for Swift online, saying that women like Swift deserve to control their own art.

Artists including Squeeze, Def Leppard and ELO have previously re-recorded their hits so they can own the rights to the new versions, meaning they get control over how they are used, and get paid if they are sold or used for things like TV adverts.

We've been eagerly anticipating Ed Sheeran's entry to the dramatic feud of Taylor Swift versus Scooter Braun.

For anyone unaware of the insane situation, Taylor Swift released a scathing indictment of the music manager after he acquired her life's work (six multi-platinum albums) in a $300 million deal.

She was left feeling "sad" and "grossed out" after a man who has allegedly been "manipulating and bullying" her for years gained control over her years of hard work.

https://taylorswift.tumblr.com/post/185958366550/for-years-i-asked-pleaded-for-a-chance-to-own-my

Taylor's fans were quick to point out that numerous powerful men in the music industry were keeping a firm silence on the whole drama, while women took sides with Scooter or Taylor.

Sia, Demi Lovato and Yael showed support for Scooter, while Halsey, Cara Delevigne and Miley Cyrus showed their team flags were for Taylor.

One friend of Taylor whose silence has spoken volumes was Ed Sheeran. Shawn Mendes also was an opener for the singer, so his silence is noticeable.

Her fans are furious at men in Taylor's life who haven't publicly supported her, given how large and influential their platforms are.

However, Ed Sheeran has now responded to the spamming of his Instagram by confirming that he has been talking directly to the You Need To Calm Down singer behind the scenes.

"I've been speaking directly to her, like I always do," Ed replied to a fan, @martinamalcotti_ on Instagram.

Time will tell whether or not he will publicly express his views on the matter, but history shows he tries to stay out of any Hollywood music industry drama.

The pair collaborated on numerous projects together, such as the adorable Everything Has Changed video featuring mini Taylor and Ed.

Both artists have been friends for years, so we're assuming he's supporting her in private. We certainly hope he is, anyway.

Justin Bieber has turned to Instagram to defend his veteran manager, Scooter Braun, after Taylor Swift posted a scathing indictment criticising him for "manipulative bullying".

Braun recently acquired Big Machine Records, which holds the rights to Swift's first six multi-platinum albums. In response, the singer wrote an emotional Tumblr message explaining that this is the worst possible outcome.

She also referenced an Instagram image by Bieber featuring Braun and Kanye West, captioned; "Taylor, what up." Swift took the image as a message of intimidation, with Braun's two artists mocking her.

The photo came after Kim Kardashian posted a recording of Taylor allegedly consenting to Kanye using her name for his music video and in the song Famous.

The manager has been employed by Ariana Grande (but was fired and subsequently rehired later…), Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato.

Bieber began his own post of a years-old photo of the pair by apologising for the earlier image, writing

“Hey Taylor. First of all i would like to apologise for posting that hurtful Instagram post, at the time i thought it was funny but looking back it was distasteful and insensitive.

“I have to be honest though it was my caption and post that I screenshotted of scooter and Kanye that said ‘Taylor Swift what up’ he didn’t have anything to do with it and it wasn’t even a part of the conversation in all actuality he was the person who told me not to joke like that.”

The Love Yourself singer continued;

“Scooter has had your back since the days you graciously let me open up for you! As the years have passed we haven’t crossed paths and gotten to communicate our differences, hurts or frustrations.

"So for you to take it to social media and get people to hate on Scooter isn’t fair. What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog? Seems to me like it was to get sympathy. You also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully Scooter."

Bieber also claims that he tried to open direct lines of communication, after criticising Swift for 'defacing' Braun's character.

“Anyway, One thing I know is both scooter and I love you. I feel like the only way to resolve conflict is through communication. So banter back and forth online i don't believe solves anything,” he continued.

“I’m sure Scooter and I would love to talk to you and resolve any conflict, pain or or any feelings that need to be addressed. Neither scooter or I have anything negative to say about you we truly want the best for you," he added.

"I usually don’t rebuttal things like this but when you try and deface someone I love's character that's crossing a line."

Braun’s wife, Yael Cohen Braun, also came to his defence online, writing to her Instagram followers; “I have never been one for the public airing of laundry, but when you attack my husband… here we go.”

Yael Braun disputes Taylor's depiction of the conflict, emphasising that Swift was given fair notice of the deal between Scooter's Ithaca Holdings and Big Machine records;

“Interesting that the man you’re so ‘grossed out’ by believed in you more than you believe in yourself,” she wrote. “And girl, who are you to talk about bullying? The world has watched you collect and drop friends like wilted flowers. MY husband is anything but a bully.”

Many have defended Braun online, with supporters like Demi Lovato and Bieber's attorney Aaron Rosenberg speaking out against Taylor.

Demi Lovato wrote;

“Y‘all can come after me all you want but I’m always gonna stay loyal to my team. I value loyalty more than most people in this world and if my name is gonna be brought into conversations I’m gonna stand up for myself and the ones on my team."

Taylor is clearly devastated that Scooter has acquired the rights to her first six albums and life's work after he seemingly abetted Kim Kardashian and Kanye West drama, saying;

"Essentially, my musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it."

The drama is piping hot…Who do you believe; Team Scooter (Biebs, Kanye, Demi etc) or Team Taylor?

Breaking up is hard to do, and it can be easy to wonder what you could have done differently, or drag yourself over the hot coals of your memory cringing over each and every bad relationship moment.

OR you could do as Demi Lovato has done, and invest in a little self love and self care.

Days after news broke that she had split from boyfriend Henry Levy, the singer took to her Instagram story to share a snap of some flowers.

However, the sender was the singer herself.

The pink bouquet was accompanied by a quote, illustrated in a card with some stunning penmanship.

‘You're beautiful, you're loved and you're worthy of a happy and healthy life,’ it read.

Poor Demi, she can't seem to catch a break.

In case the news hasn't hit you yet, the rapper 21 Savage is set to be deported from the US due to claims of his British nationality. HE was allegedly born on the British colony of Dominica.

His real name is Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, and he was arrested on Sunday morning by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for reportedly overstaying his visa.

The Cool For The Summer singer has had to delete her Twitter after making a comment about the rapper's arrest and precarious situation.

The news of 21 Savage's possible deportation quickly spread online and became meme material. While Twitter was finding the whole thing hilarious, it stopped laughing the second Demi commented.

On Sunday night, she wrote to her Twitter; "So far 21 savage memes have been my favourite part of the Super Bowl."

Immediately, things went pretty dark for Demi. Offset appeared to subtweet her, saying; "ALL THE MEMES AND S–T AINT FUNNY WHEN SOMEBODY GOING THROUGH SOME," the Migos rapper wrote.

"PRAYING FOR MY DAWG AINT S–T FUNNY HIS FAMILY DEPENDING ON HIM."

The 26-year-old singer tried defending and clarifying herself in later tweets, but social media users were already attacking her with suicide and drug-related references.

"If you're gonna come at me for making a joke, try coming at me with some original, not involving drugs," she wrote. "F–k Twitter. This is why I don't tweet anymore."

The meme she was referencing was of an old-fashioned feather quill, because of his apparent British ancestry.

Some of the tweets which targeted the singer were extreme, to say the least.

Image: @ddlovato/Instagram

People got pretty vicious against her online, considering many of those who threw hateful vitriol her way were previously laughing at 21 Savage memes themselves, or even making them.

Demi took to her Instagram to defend herself;

"Wasn't laughing at anyone getting deported. I know that's not a joke…not have I EVER laughed at that," she penned.  "The meme I posted/was talking about was of him being writing with a feather pen. Sorry if I offended anyone."

She continued, "It's no excuse to laugh at someone's addiction, let alone their OD."

Image: @ddlovato/Instagram

Yikes, things certainly escalated there, didn't they?

Dina LaPolt, 21 Savage's attorney, told E! News in a statement that they were;

"Working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with the authorities to clear up any misunderstandings."

If he is in fact British without a visa, it's a highly well-kept secret according to the internet.

LaPolt also stated that;

"Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in this country, especially in Atlanta, Georgia, and is actively working in the community-leading programmes to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy."

However, ICE have other things to say.

The federal agency also provided E! News with a statement later in the day, saying that his arrest was a "targeted operation." It wrote; "He is unlawfully present in the U.S. and also a convicted felon. His whole public persona is false."

Demi Lovato’s adorable pupper Buddy was tragically killed four years ago, after being attacked by coyotes, but the woofer hasn’t left Demi’s heart.

She has now decided to honour his memory with some new ink, which famed tattoo artist Dr Woo provided.

The Skyscraper singer got her second tattoo in a week, dedicating it to Buddy, who she shared with her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

On her Instagram stories, she showed off the new tattoo to her fans. It was drawn on her ankle, and features the late dog’s fluffy white face and the words; “Buddy was here”.

When Buddy passed away in 2015, the singer was left “absolutely heartbroken”. She wrote a message to her Instagram, writing;

“We are absolutely heartbroken to be writing this but Wilmer and I are devastated to inform you that we lost our little angel Buddy last Sunday,” Lovato wrote.

“He was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident. And though I will never know why this had to happen, I do know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle so with that, together we are staying strong.”

She continued: “We have incredible people around us and so much love and support which is holding us up in this time of need.”

“Buddy was loved by so many people and as small as he was, he made a huge impact in our lives. He truly was human in a way and we were so blessed to have him in our lives,” she finished, emotionally.

On Saturday, she got a small rose tattooed on her pointer finger, and it’s beautiful.

She wrote a message thanking her talented tattoo artist;

“Thank you @_dr_woo_ for the incredible portrait of my late baby angel Buddy. RIP @DemisBuddy I will love you forever and never forget you.”

Only days ago, the singer marked six months of sobriety after struggles with addiction with her rose tattoo, a meaningful gesture.

Tattoo artist @winterstone shared a photo on Instagram of Lovato’s newest body art, writing; “You are a gem! Thanks for coming in!”

The rose is often used to symbolise new beginnings and hope, so it’s definitely perfect for Demi. We heart it.

Only a few days ago, Grammy-nominated singer Bebe Rexha took to Instagram to proclaim her anger and frustration at body-shaming designers who refused to dress her for the ceremony.

Why? Because she's a SIZE EIGHT. She didn't name names, but if only she did. They'd have been ripped to shreds in minutes.

The Meant To Be singer is nominated for two awards at the Grammys, and said in a video; "If a size six/eight is too big, then, I don't know what to tell you, then I don't want to wear your f*cking dresses, 'cause that's crazy."

Image: Instagram/@beberexha

She continued; "You're saying that all the women in the world that are size eight and up are not beautiful and they cannot wear your dressed,"

"Im sorry, I had to get this off my chest," Bebe captioned the post. "If you don't like my fashion style or my music that's one thing. But don't say you can't dress someone that isn't a runway size."

"Empower women to love their bodies instead of making girls and women feel less then by their size. My size eight ass is still going to the Grammys," she concluded.

Demi was quick to comment her support; "F*cking preach!!! Love this and you for speaking your mind and using your voice!!!"

Demi Lovato has always been vocal against body-shamers online, and supportive of plus-sized models in the industry.

She even told a fan who created a detailed sketch of the singer; "That's not how my body looks", insisting that her body be represented accurately.

Rexha has received an overwhelming amount of support from the public and celebrities alike following her video, with numerous designers offering to dress her.
