A man has been shot dead in Orly Airport in Paris after grabbing a gun from an anti-terror officer.

The man was a radicalised Muslim and was known to French intelligence services, according to a police source.

The attacker took the female officer's weapon before seeking refuge in a store.

The airport has been evacuated, and flights are being diverted to Paris' other airport, Charles de Gaulle.

"We were sitting in Hall Three when all of a sudden people started running and telling us to run with them," Ellie Guttetter, 18, from the US told the BBC.

"The people running were passengers and flight attendants. It was pretty chaotic and everyone was panicking – it was scary."

There is no better place to be on Saint Patrick's Day than Ireland, and clearly one celeb know this to be true.

Drop-dead gorgeous model Emily Ratajkowski is currently meandering around Bantry in County Cork.

The 26-year-old model spent her summers growing up in Cork, despite being born in London to American parents.

The brunette stunner has been sharing snaps on Instagram of beautiful Bantry, and she's clearly delighted to be there.

Captioning the snap"Home" with a shamrock emoji, Emily is clearly proud of her association with the Emerald Isle.

And sure, why wouldn't she be?

Back in Spetember 2015, the model visited Bantry and called it her "home away from home."

So if anyone spots a 5"6 brunette beauty wandering around Bantry, it could very well be Emily!

Let's face it – putting on makeup is an art form, whether you're good at it or not.

That is why we so excited by Urban Decay's latest collection, which is a collaboration with a very famous artist.

@urbandecaycosmetics X Basquiat X RR

A post shared by Ruby Rose (@rubyrose) on

The exciting cosmetics brand took to Instagram this week to announce their latest collection, which is inspired by the work of famed artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.

The launch, which includes so many amazing products is called Urban Decay x Basquiat – and you're going to want it all.

It's hard to imagine a more perfect fit for UD — introducing our #UDxBasquiat collection. #UrbanDecay

A post shared by Wende Zomnir (@udwende) on

Many of you may have no clue who Jean-Michel is (fair), so we have a little bit of background information on him.

Basquiat began his career as a graffiti artist in New York City, where he became well-known for his vibrant combinations of text and symbols and his commentary on race and society.

Want more #UDxBasquiat? Check out our Instagram Stories. #UrbanDecay

A post shared by Urban Decay Cosmetics (@urbandecaycosmetics) on

Urban Decay released a statement about the new collection: "Like Urban Decay, Basquiat was an outsider who challenged the status quo and used colour in nontraditional ways. From his informal graffiti work and the way he mixed mediums and colours to the way he spoke out against social injustice, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect fit for our brand."

The launch features 12 products, with colours and names inspired by the artist's work. There are two fabulous eyeshadow palettes, a blush/bronzer palette, three vibrant lipstick shades, and eye liners in red, yellow, and blue.

About last night… #UDxBasquiat #UrbanDecay

The products range from €15 to €30, and can also be purchased as a full set fo €150.

We don't have an official release date for the products yet, but we'll be waiting with baited breath.

Muggles can now play their very own Harry Potter game, but it's nothing like wizard's chess.

Online HP store Forbidden Forest Crafts have created a new game, which follows the same format as Cards Against Humanity.

The infamous game involves players completing fill-in-the-blank statements and prompt cards to create sentences, usually culminating in ridiculous and absurd statements.

The game is perfect for major Potter heads, who know the ins and outs of the books and movies like the back of their muggle hands.

The game creators leaked a few teaser cards from the deck, with one prompt card reading: “After months of practising magic, I think I’m finally ready for …..”

And the answer options: "Random red-headed splinched twat floating in the Room of Requirement" and "Having to explain to Madam Pomfrey why you used Engorgio on your d***." Too funny.

We'd love to get our hands on the game, but unfortunately, the Cards Against Muggles box set is currently sold out.

Hopefully the creators get some more sets produced ASAP.

We all have a WhatsApp group with our best gal pals, and after a night out, our phones are hopping thanks to the goss being doled out in the sacred space.

From questions like "where did you all go last night? I had to get a taxi on my own," and "I'm afraid to even look in my clutch girls, I spent a bomb last night," this viral parody video is literally every Irish girl's group chat.

From comedian Enya Martin's page Giz A Laugh, the video is told through the medium of Snapchat filters and we couldn't love it more.

The video has already been viewed 215,000 times so it's well on it's way to going completely viral.

The video depicts all the different types of girls within a night out friend group, from the dry arse to the sesh mot, and of course, the one who always gets sick everywhere.

Check it out for yourself, it's hilarious:

Lena Dunham has fought the battle with body shamers since she first arrived in the spotlight thanks to the huge success of her HBO series Girls.

The controversial writer and actress has always spoken out against the wave of body hate, and has done it again in her latest Instagram post.

Taking to the social media site, the 30-year-old has once again written a poignant statement against shame, opening up about her health and body struggles.

A post shared by Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) on

"I feel I've made it pretty clear over the years that I don't give even the tiniest of shits what anyone else feels about my body," she said, captioning an Instagram post.

"I've gone on red carpets in couture as a size 14. I've done sex scenes days after surgery, mottled with scars. I've accepted that my body is an ever changing organism, not a fixed entity- what goes up must come down and vice versa."

"I smile just as wide no matter my current size because I'm proud of what this body has seen and done and represented. Chronic illness sufferer. Body-shaming vigilante. Sexual assault survivor. Raging hottie. Just like all of YOU."

A post shared by Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) on

"Right now I'm struggling to control my endometriosis through a healthy diet and exercise."

"So my weight loss isn't a triumph and it also isn't some sign I've finally given in to the voices of trolls. Because my body belongs to ME–at every phase, in every iteration, and whatever I'm doing with it, I'm not handing in my feminist card to anyone."

"I refuse to celebrate these bullshit before-and-after pictures, " she continued.

A post shared by Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) on

"Don't we have infinitely more pressing news to attend to? So much love to all my web friends who demand that life be more than a daily weigh in, who know their merit has nothing to do with their size, who fight to be seen and heard and accepted."

Preach girl, preach.

Calling all Marilyn Monroe fans!

There is an amazing pad for sale in Clondalkin, and it's interiors are absolutely bonkers, in the best possible way.

Every available surface is painted a different, bright hue, and Marilyn Monroe's iconic smile gleams down from every wall.

From the colourful, leopard print sofas to the polka dot toilet, the princess pad screams fun.

And as for the princess's boudoir? It's decked out in pink ruffles, walls and carpets.

Any Marilyn bed covers, of course.

Even the hallway is emblazoned with the classic Hollywood star's face, and rainbow chandeliers hang from every light fixture.

The living room is the epitome of a Barbie dream house, with pink and purple fabric covering every surface, and ornate cushions and decorations in every free space.

The kitchen seems a little more muted, with modern, white fittings.

That is, until you notice the sun bed in the middle of it.

According to auctioneer Ray Cooke's site, the three bedroom end of terrace property is located in the quaint cul de sac of Harelawn Drive, Dublin 22, within arm's reach of Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and the M50 Motorway.

"No. 44 is immaculately presented and boasts quirky decor throughout," reads the ad.

You can say that again!

Ireland is a wonderful, magical island full of leprechauns and banshees (at least, that's what we tell the tourists) but there are a few other totally unique Irish things that should be celebrated on our national holiday.

From spice bags to saying bye a million times at the end of a phone call, we love these aspects of the Emerald Isle.

10. Pub culture

Obviously us Irish folk have a bit of a reputation for being total sauce merchants, but the Irish pub scene is one of the best in the world.

From a quick pint and chat in the local to a big night out, we know how to enjoy ourselves.

9. Our delightful penchant for pessimism

"Ah sure, I might be on my death bed but sure, it's grand."

8. Being a nation of tea drinkers

A nice cup'o tea fixes everything, from a broken heart to an exhausted brain from a long day at work.

Rain or shine, good vibes or bad, tea is a constant Irish comfort. Just don't get us started on the Barry's VS Lyon's debate…

7. The tin whistle

We were all forced to ply this heinous musical instrument in primary school, and now we can still bash out Mary Had A Little Lamb if the mood takes us.

That's about as far as our musical talent extends, unforch.

6. Tayto sandwiches

The crème de la crème of crispy goodness, a Tayto sandwich is a taste of home that deserves a national holiday of its own.

Too good.

5. President Michael D Higgins

Seriously, how blessed are we that this wonderful little man is our president?

He never wears fake tan, never threatens to build walls, nothing. And we love him for it.

4Being incapable of taking a compliment

"I SAID Penneys finest, now stop being nice to me, I look a state!"

3. GAA lads

You will find this unique specimen hanging around the clubhouse, in Coppers or in the gym.

They wear their jerseys to mass and have probably brought some form of glory to your home town at one stage or another. All hail.

2. Hot chicken rolls

Deli culture is big in Ireland, and while we might be partial to the odd jambon or two, hot chicken rolls are where our true loyalties lie.

Whether you opt for goujons or fillet, red sauce or mayo, the chicken roll can cure a myriad of ails, from a hangover to true, aching hunger.

1. An epic slagging

Only in Ireland can taking the piss out of someone mercilessly be a sign of true love and respect.
