If you're driving into town tomorrow, you might want to work out a different route as more road works are taking place.

As part of the Luas Cross City works, no private vehicles wil be allowed to turn right onto Eden Quay from O'Connell Bridge from March 20.

This is actually being rolled out as a permanent change, with only public transport, taxis and bikes allowed to use the route.

With construction set to be completed by the end of this year, it'll be another few months until diversions in the city centre will come to an end.

For the day that was in it, Jamie Dornan appeared in a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and it was brilliantly Irish.

Sitting in a pub, Jamie knocked down a pint while telling the camera various words for 'drunk'.

We'll admit that a few were far-fetched and we'd probably only say them if we were langers drunk, but still, the 1.45 minute clip is just gas.

From "sh*t-faced" to "rat-a*sed," and everything in between, here's Jamie Dornan describing 41 Irish terms for drunk:

A Polish YouTuber who is completely obsessed with Ellen DeGeneres made it his life's mission to get on The Ellen Show.

Lucas Jacobiak made his dream a reality in a very unorthodox way, and we're beyond impressed.

Lucas built an exact replica of the set from scratch, an endeavour which took him three years, and hired an Ellen impersonator to star in the video as the talk show host.

Things get even more confusing, as in his interview with the fake Ellen, the pair discuss how the creation of the very video you are watching is what got him on the show.

The video shows him excitedly telling his mum he’s been invited to the show.

It then focuses on his journey to Los Angeles, and then the interview with Ellen herself. Well, the Ellen impersonator.

"The time has come. The project of my life," he captioned an Instagram snap.

"I have worked on it for over three years to make my dream come true and be a guest at Ellen's DeGeneres show. If I really want something I work hard for it and this time was no different."

"I know I went for broke but it was worth it. Why @theellenshow ? Because she is the most courageous person in the world!"

Lucas is a motivational speaker, and hoped to use the video to prove the power of visualisation.

By physically visualising his dream, he hopes to make it a reality.

How could the real Ellen not take notice? We're expecting to see him on The Ellen Show ASAP.

Ash Soto is a Florida-based artist who uses her own body as a canvas.

The reason for her artistic endeavours? The fact that she has vitiligo, for which she was plagued by bullies her entire life.

Now Ash is reclaiming her body for herself by displaying it in an array of creative ways, all glorifying her vitiligo. And she looks amazing doing it.

A post shared by Ash Soto (@radiantbambi) on

The body-positive Floridian is working on loving her speckled skin, and her 92,500 followers love it too.

"They say your body is a canvas, I'm just painted differently," she captioned a post about her skin on Insta.

"Finally at a point in my life where I can say I love the skin I'm in. It's a learning experience each day but I'm getting there."

A post shared by Ash Soto (@radiantbambi) on

Outlining her vitiligo patches is Ash's speciality.

By doing so, the body-positivity activist creates an effect that resembles a world map.

A post shared by Ash Soto (@radiantbambi) on

"When my vitiligo first started spreading and that's when the jokes started which caused me to never wear shorts or short sleeves again," she captioned another shot, showing her skin before and after her vitilligo spread.

"I've been called cow, I even was once told I had Michael Jackson syndrome."

"How can an innocent girl trying to find herself take that?"

A post shared by Ash Soto (@radiantbambi) on

We applaud Ash for standing up against those who previously made fun of her and for encouraging people to embrace them selves and the skin they're in.

That's definitely a body positive message we can get behind.

Sligo is a county that rarely gets the credit it deserves.

A place that is rich with history, mythology and breathtaking landscapes, it really is a great place to visit for a few days.

Not only is it the resting place of one of the world's most famous poets, but it also has great places to eat and relax.

Whether you are planning your getaway, or have returned, here are six thing that everyone who visits Sligo will discover.

6. You can have lunch at WB Yeats’ grave

“Under bare Benbulben’s head” is the grave of famed WB Yeats. However, this is not your typical cold, sad graveyard. T

here is a wonderful little gift shop located on the grounds of the graveyard, along with a café. Get the chicken salad sandwich, fyi.

5. Lissadell house has the BEST jam in the nation

Are you a jam aficionado? WELL, get yourself to Lissadell House for afternoon tea, and experience homemade preserves that will rock your world. They are truly exceptional.

4. The seaweed baths are KING

Sligo is home to the best seaweed baths in the country.

While the concept of getting into a bath of green sea slime is gross (we appreciate that), you will leave feeling relaxed, and with the smoothest skin you've ever had. A great way to pamper yourself.

3. You can visit fairies

Sligo is a county that is rich is ancient Irish myths and folklore. Gillighan's World is described as “Sligo’s fairy wonderland” and is nestled under the shadow of Knocknashee.

It is a mythical park which encapsulates the world of the Irish fairy and their timeless legacy of magic and mystery. Fun for all ages we PROMISE (and there's a deadly gift shop).

2. If you climb Knocknarea, you’ll meet a queen

Knocknarea is a mountain that many people climb while visiting this glorious county.

What most people don't realise is, that at the top of this mountain is the grave of Queen Medbh of Connacht. The tomb is unexcavated, and dates back to around 3000BC.

1. You can camp in an airplane

If you are looking for somewhere to stay while visiting Sligo, why not set up camp in a Boeing 747?

There is a glamping park in the Enniscrone area of Sligo that is home to some weird and wonderful options. You can sleep in a taxi rank, or in a train yard or even at a bus stop!

While not officially open yet, the quirky glamping company are taking bookings.

Sligo… you're only fantastic.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has received global recognition for his speech about Irish immigration in Washington.

Using the annual St Patrick's day visit to discuss the contribution of the Irish community in the US, the Taoiseach used the shamrock ceremony speech to “lecture” President Trump on immigration.

"Four decades before Lady Liberty lifted her lamp we were the wretched refuse on the teeming shore.

"We believed in the shelter of America, in the compassion of America, in the opportunity of America. We came and became Americans," he said, as Trump looked on.

Now, Twitter is full of praise for Enda's speech from people from all over the world, but some Irish folk are claiming that the praise is misguided.

"Do you know how Ireland treats asylum seekers? it's a system called "direct provision" and it's brutal, worse than you can imagine," said one, referring to the short-term accommodation that asylum seekers live in in Ireland.

Others found it hypocritical that Enda would refer to people leaving their countries due to a lack of liberty, while some feel that Irish women are currently being deprived of their reproductive rights due to the 8th amendment to the constitution.

The 8th amendment, which has come under much opposition in recent years thanks to the work of The Abortion Rights Campaign and the Repeal project, means that Irish women face up to 14 years in prison for obtaining an abortion, and must flee the country to procure these services safely.

However, the majority of people feel that the Taoiseach's speech was a subtle burn directed toward's the POTUS and his travel ban.

"I don't like Enda Kenny and I doubt I ever will, but the speech he made was brave and respectable," said one.

Our obsession with all things mermaid-themed will probably never cease, especially if we keep finding amazing mermaid products to fuel the fire.

The most recent store to give us all the Atlantis feels is Mermaid Salon, an Aussie-based brand that knows a thing or two about mimicking a mermaid.

The chubby mermaid carve and contour brush is a multipurpose, vegan makeup brush that's pretty damn versatile.

It can be used to apply powder foundation, blush, highlight or contour. Nifty!

Because who wouldn't want to contour like a pro while simultaneously getting one step closer to being a real life mermaid?

The handles are shaped like little mermaid tails and are available in silver, rose gold, and black (we might have to get one in every colour).

And the best thing is, getting one in every colour is actually achievable, seeing as each one rings up at only €11.50 each.

We're pretty sure that Ariel would have hundreds of these in her trove of treasures if she had half a chance!

We'll take one of these over a dinglehopper any day.

Donald Trump clearly isn't a fan of One Direction, after he removed them from one of his hotels.

The President kicked the boy band out after they refused to meet his daughter.

This revelation comes courtesy of band member Liam Payne, who let the news slip in an interview with Rollacoaster.

A post shared by Liam Payne (@liampayne) on

Liam said that the POTUS phoned their room asking if they'd be happy to meet his daughter (either Ivanka or Tiffany, it's not clear which one), and their manager declined on the basis that the boys were asleep.

“Trump actually kicked us out of his hotel once. You wouldn’t believe it. It was about his daughter. He phoned up our manager and we were asleep," said the star.

"He said ‘well, wake them up’ and I was like ‘no’ and then he wouldn’t let us use the underground garage."

"Obviously in New York we can’t really go outside. New York is ruthless for us. So he was like, ‘OK, then I don’t want you in my hotel.’ So we had to leave.”

That's definitely not the best hospitality service, Trump!
