The early noughties WORSHIPPED the French manicure, and all of a sudden we're seeing a major comeback.

Between Ariana Grande using the trend as part of her iconic 00's chick-flick themed Thank U, Next music video, and Ocean's 8 featuring the nail art, fashion has taken a turn.

White-tipped nails were huge back in the day, everyone who was anyone sported the chic style craze. Heiresses such as Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian West aided the movement.

The trend appeared to die by the time 2010 came along, with those in the ensuing decade calling it cheesy and (*gasp*) TACKY.

The tide is turning, because the nail style is appearing everywhere from red carpets to fashion shows, from celebrity appearances to music videos.

We're seeing massive 1990s comebacks, from bands such as the Spice Girls and Westlife as well as reboots of popular TV shows and movies such as Sabrina.

It makes sense that nails should follow fashion and popular culture, and we're SO ready to whip out those white tips.

LeChat celebrity nail artist Elle has said that;

"Fashion has taken a '90s turn from influence, so of course the trends have returned from that era. I'm enjoying the new modern twists, maybe because it comes from my era."

"How you approach the modern take is vital; the nail shape should be a ballerina, not a square. If it's not done right, it will become 'basic'," she commented.

Heaven forbid.

Are you ready to WERK the trend, or do you think it should stay in the 2000s where it belongs?

Paris Hilton is the indisputable queen of the noughties – and her iconic Malibu-glam style will go down in history as the defining look of the decade.

The heiress, model, singer, DJ and actress is now turning her hand to fashion design, for one of our favourite online stores.

Boohoo have teamed up with the chihuahua-loving LA princess to create a capsule collection of 70 noughties inspired pieces.

Ideal for those who want to emulate an on-trend nod to the to the era or to Paris herself, the collab includes party dresses, swimwear and lounge wear.

The line makes major reference to the celeb, pink and glitz obsessed era of Hollywood culture we grew up with.

Paris's own famous slogan 'that's hot' is featured, alongside cropped hoodies, crystal sunnies and a stunning silver top that pays homage to her now-iconic 2st birthday dress, which was repurposed later by Kendall Jenner.

The Paris Hilton X Boohoo collection will globally land on June 20.

We'll see you inb the virtual queue, with that silver top in our basket.

Yesterday, the wonderful Paris Hilton tweeted 'Should The Simple Life return?' and I nearly passed out with the excitement.

The reality show that made my early teenage years, The Simple Life was honestly one of the best things on TV in the naughties.

And while I'm not convinced it will ever return, I decided to take a trip down memory lane, and enjoy some of Paris and Nicole's best bits.

That's hot…

1. That time the girlos worked in a funeral home.

2. That time Paris mopped the floor using a SEGWAY.

3. When they were in charge of a restaurant's signage.

4. When Nicole was an excellent role mode.

5. When Paris cooked bacon with an iron (genius).

6. Real talk, though.

7. Ordering ice cream like a boss…

8. The environment is very important to Paris.

9. Important discoveries were made in every episode.

10. When absolutely everything was 'hot'.

 11. When they made a sly dig at Kim Kardashian.

12. When Nicole inspired women everywhere.

 13. More excellent advice.

14. A helping hand for her good friend.

The Simple Life

 15. Last but not least, that time Nicole put her whole arm up a cow's arse.

(And then threw the poop-covered glove at Paris.)

Congratulations are in order for Paris Hilton and her new husband-to-be, Chris Zylka.

The reality star and socialite announced her engagement on Twitter earlier today saying how she was so excited to marry her ‘best friend and soulmate’ after he popped the question in Aspen.

While we were all in raptures of delight for the noughties queen, we couldn't help but notice one not-so-tiny detail – her whopping engagement ring.

The giant gem is rumoured to have cost over $2 million and includes a 22 carat diamond. Not too shabby.

The rock was created by celebrity jeweller Michael Greene.

’Paris just called and told me how much she appreciates it,' the designer told E! News.

'She says it's her dream diamond,’

‘She said she never thought Chris would come up with something so perfect. She's so happy and excited.’

Twitter users in particular seem to be enamoured with the huge rock, and 'Paris Hilton Ring' is trending as much as the engagement itself.

Congratulations are in order for Paris Hilton and her new husband-to-be, Chris Zylka.

The reality star and socialite announced her engagement on Twitter earlier today saying how she was so excited to marry her “best friend and soulmate.”

Chris, a 32-year-old actor and model, proposed to Paris, 36, while on a skiing trip in Aspen last weekend.

“I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! You are my dream come true!,” she wrote.

The couple have known each other for eight years and made their relationship official in 2016.

Speaking to People, Paris explained how Chris popped the question on the slopes and that she “immediately said yes.”

She went on to describe her engagement ring as “gorgeous” and “sparkling.”

“Ever since our first date I knew there was something special about him,” she added.

Chris also spoke to the magazine saying: “Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out. I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl.”

“I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”

We can't wait to see the dress!

A lot of people feel to need to get their other half's name tattooed on them as a sign of love.

And of course, it's an insanely sweet gesture that will last a lifetime… but that's the problem, it lasts a lifetime.

Paris Hilton's boyfriend, Chris Zylka, recently surprised Paris with a tattoo of her name on his arm, drawn in Disney letters.

The pair have been together since Feburary, after Paris confirmed on a US chat show that he was her "soulmate."

Paris shared the tattoo on her Instagram page, both with a close-up image and a video.

She captioned the snaps, "Such a lucky girl! My love surprised me and got my name tattooed in Disney font (sic).

"And said because I'm his most magical place on earth and he finally found his fairytale princess."

She added the hashtags, "BoyfriendGoals and #ParisForever."

What do you think of Chris' tattoo?

The noughties are generally considered to be one of the most sartorially starved eras, with chunky highlights and low rise everything.

Von Dutch trucker caps and the OC were life, and Paris Hilton reigned on high as the ultimate fashionista around.

If you were feeling fancy (or your parents gave into your perpetual pleas) you may have been the proud owner of a Juicy Couture matching tracksuit.

In an ode to the era, Kylie Jenner opted to don a black velour Juicy tracksuit on Instagram, reworked by high end designer Vetements.

The brand debuted some reworked Juicy pieces in their S/S17 collection, and they went viral, instantly becoming the most talked about pieces in the line.

While all laughed and appreciated the nostalgia at the time, the fact that the look has just been adopted by one of the most influential young celebrities in the world places the Juicy tracksuit firmly in the risk category of making a comeback.

Back in the noughties, style queen of the era Paris Hilton championed the tacky trend, wearing her rainbow of matching synthetic two-pieces with the hottest footwear of the time, high wedged flip flops.#NeverForget

The velour pieces were worn by every celeb worth their salt, everywhere from the red carpet to the Starbucks run.

The new version of the Juicy tracksuit is more streamlined, with a modern tapered leg and much less diamontes.

The new Juicy Couture bits are officially available to the public via ASOS, and one thing that hasn't changed about the coordinated athleisure wear is the hefty price tag, standing at about €300 for the set.

We wont have a cent left over for Juicy Tube lip gloss and a set of chunky highlights.

When you think of Lidl, the first celeb that pops in mind for a collab is NOT Paris Hilton.

The bargain supermarket chain is known for its cheap basics and knock-off wonders, so it was a bit of a surprise to learn that the reality star heiress is making a collection with the food store.

Paris announced the news on social media, posting a teaser video with the Lidl logo.

She captioned the clip: "I'm so excited to share my new collection from Lidl."

The video is literally a two-second clip of her strutting through a door, but looking at Lidl's website and the Youtube video it shared, the collection is going to be full of hair appliances.

Random? Yes, we think so.

With the world’s top designers fighting to dress her for even the most minute of occasions, Kendall Jenner’s 21st birthday party attire was bound to grab a few headlines.

But when the Victoria’s Secret model stepped out in a replica of the dress worn by Paris Hilton to mark her big day back in 2002, she caught everyone’s attention.

While the KUWTK star was quick to acknowledge the similarities between the outfits with her “vintage Paris Hilton vibes” Instagram post, until now no one knew how the heiress felt about Kendall’s update.

Thankfully, the Simple Life star has since proved herself a true believer of the phrase “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”, as she recently told Grazia that she was delighted Kendall chose to wear the eye-catching number.

“I was talking to her mum and then all of a sudden this gorgeous, glittering birthday girl walked in and as soon as I saw the dress I was like, ‘Oh my god that is the exact same dress that I wore to my 21st birthday, that Julien Macdonald,’ recounted Paris.

“[Kendall] was like ‘I know it’s not Julien Macdonald but I was obsessed with your dress so I sent the photos to the designer and had him basically copy your dress’ and I was like, ‘It looks so good on you!’”

“And she was like, ‘Thank you I just thought it was the perfect birthday dress.’  So yeah, I was really flattered and I thought she looked stunning and I thought ‘It is the perfect birthday dress’ especially when you’re turning 21!”

“It was really nice to see her wearing that and she looked gorgeous.  We had a fun talk about it.  It was cute I saw on her Instagram she wrote ‘Paris Hilton vibes’ with a picture of the dress and I thought that was really sweet.”

Happy Birthday @KrisJenner!  Sending you lots of love on your special day beautiful #BirthdayGirl!

As the world struggles to cope with Donald Trump’s election to president, Paris Hilton has stepped up to discuss the most pressing issue of the day.

While not exactly a prominent political figure, the 35-year-old heiress has taken to Twitter to muse over what she would do should she ever take up residence in the US presidential home.

In addition to hashtagging “MakeAmericaHotAgain” – oh, she went there – the former reality star shared an image of herself superimposed in front of a Barbie pink White House.

To ensure her intentions were made totally clear, Paris included the caption: “I’d paint the White House pink #PresidentParis.”  Shudder.

If you think Trump is bad, try Paris.

Far from disappearing from the celebrity radar, Paris Hilton continues apace to live the sort of life that borders on the wonderfully ridiculous.

And while her younger sister Nicky, 32, is now happily married and with a child, 35-year-old Paris is still very much free, single and enjoying herself.

This week, for example, the heiress was in Milan for fashion week – and she took time out of her schedule to walk in Philipp Plein's SS17 show.

Wearing a dramatic black, chain and beaded gown, Ms Hilton was totally at ease on the runway.

Indeed, she perfectly mastered her towering knee-high sandals, and certainly her appearance went off without a glitch.

Earlier today, the socialite took to Instagram to share a snap of her evening in the spotlight with her fans.

"Amazing time walking the runway for @PhilippPleinInternational's #AliceInGhettoLand Fashion Show last night in #Milan!" she wrote to her 6.1m followers on the photo-sharing platform.

She has now left Italy, jetting to the French Riviera to party and DJ.

With the sheer number of terrorists attacks being carried out across the world in recent weeks, we doubt there's many people who haven't considered the potential implications of foreign travel or reflected on the possible ramifications of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

And with countless high-profile individuals taking to social media to express their grief over the recent attacks in France and Germany, Paris Hilton has also decided to offer her perspective on current global events.

"I’m constantly moving around from one country to another and I’m a famous person who could be a definite target for an attack and that is something that sometimes terrifies me," she told Ibiza island daily newspaper Diario de Ibiza.

Fearful that her global profile may make her more vulnerable to attack, the socialite turned DJ continued: "But I’m also a very free person who tries not to be afraid of anything. I just make sure I always watch my back."

"I always go out alone and without security," she added. "Many celebs have ten bodyguards but I like to go out with my friends and be normal because I want to be like everyone else."

Removing herself from the equation for a moment, the former reality took the opportunity to consider the people who have actually fallen victim to attacks, saying: "What’s happening is horrible. The recent attacks in Nice and Germany are terrible."

When I am with you there's no place I'd rather be…

Like countless others, Paris insists the recent events have given her pause for thought, telling the newspaper: "It’s something that disgusts and worries me. I travel a lot and I get frightened when I think about things like this."

Paris, who turned 35-years-old in February, is currently living it up in Ibiza and sharing snaps of the lifestyle with fans on Instagram.
