Harry Styles has an abundant of fans all around the world, each more dedicated than the next. Some send him gifts, some throw their underwear in his face at concerts, and some…get him tattooed on their face?

We're pretty sure that this girl is officially 'Harry's #1 Fan' by default after pulling this stunt. Kelsy Karter has made no secret of her love for the 24-year-old former One Direction singer.

The lad has been blazing a trail since the release of his massively popular debut album, and now Kelsy has decided it's time to show her (permanent) appreciation for Harry. We can only hope this is a hoax.

Kelsy got inked by Los-Angeles based tattoo artist Romeo Lacoste, who's quite the big deal in the celebrity body art scene. She shared the bizarre result on her social media accounts, tweeting the caption;

"Mama, look what I made me do." My mother would excommunicate me from the family if I pulled anything like this, let alone called her out in the caption…

Needless to say, fans had some pretty dramatic reactions. Mainly because the tattoo literally looks NOTHING like Harry Styles, no offence Mr Lacoste, but this isn't your best work in terms of facial twinning.

Hilariously, Frankie Cocozza realised how like the inking his own face looked, as opposed to the solo singer. He tweeted a reply to Kelsy, writing: "I'd love to send you a signed photo thanking you for the support. Get in touch mate x" GAS.

Kelsy's face appears slightly swollen and red, with Romeo posting a photo of her on his Instagram story saying; "I can’t believe Kelsy Karter got Harry Styles tattooed on her face." We can't either.

She recently tweeted: "It’s 2019 and Harry Styles is still the best looking human." Safe to say she'd be over the moon if he noticed her stunt. but the frontman has yet to comment.

Some fans are arguing that the tattoo is fake, but most of the comments are just the general public questioning her sanity. Which is semi-fair, to be honest.

On 18 January she tweeted: "Finally know what I’m getting Harry for his birthday…"

Well, this is one way to get his attention, we hope? Stay tuned to see if the singer ever comments on the matter, or if Kelsy reveals the inauthenticity of the inking. Pray it's fake, just pray.

Those of us who go head-to-head with our oily skin daily will relate to the eternal struggle of wanting to have hydrated skin, but trying not to look like a high-shine mirror throwing out spotlight reflections from our faces. IS THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK, PEOPLE?

It’s fine. I’m fine. The shine show must go on.

Now that it’s Winter, the game is changing. We’ve put together a Beauty Bible of sorts on the Great Oily Skin Battle of 2018. It’s a thing.

Our skin of course is more than just dry, oily, acne-prone etc. We are nuanced beings, and this is no different when it comes to our skin.

The question is, why do some of us suffer more from oily skin in the winter, and others suffer with dryness?

It seems unfair, between having to glue ourselves to our hot water bottles and getting up when it’s still dark, why should our skin be causing us problems on top of that?

Michele Farber of Schweiger Dermatology Group claims that: “Skin can become more oily as a mechanism to compensate for excess dryness. The skin will overcompensate in sebum or oil production to moisturise itself.”

Rude much? Never fear, we're here to save the shiny day. Here are our top tips for combating oily skin during winter, thank us later…

1. Prioritise and Moisturise

You might think that moisturising skin which is already oily is a mistake, how ever oily skin compensates for excess dryness, so keeping it hydrated is KEY.

The right moisturiser for you is like getting a bra fitting, it can be a hassle but so worth the results if you’re patient enough. Each and every one of us has unique skin cells, so it can be next to impossible to find the skin regime for us.

There are dozens and dozens of moisturisers on the market, but our personal recommendation is to use one with Vitamin E.

2. Watch your Tone

Yon-Ka ESSENTIALS have the BEST lotion on the market – it’s an alcohol free invigorating mist for normal to oily skin and contains five essential oils. Their ESSENTIALS range start your beauty regime the right way- with cleansing.

They work to gently purity and optimise the effectiveness of your everyday care regimen, and leaves your skin soft and hydrated.

Use after cleansing and spray onto the face as a mist in the  morning and at night for best results.

3. Avoid using petroleum jelly
According to make-up artist Katey Denno, petroleum jelly (Vaseline) can create the illusion of granting us moisturised skin, but actually the substance suffocates your pores.

It’s water-repellant and not water-soluble, so it actually just seals the barrier so that moisture cannot leave the skin.

Basically you're actually drying out your pores by keeping out the air and moisture, while it's thick texture makes it tricky to cleanse the skin. It's literally a lose-lose, gals.

4. Tea Tree Oil

Hot showers in the winter are widely recognised as stripping your skin of it’s essential oils, thereby preventing it from achieving moisture.

By using tea tree oil with warm water, this makes up for the loss of moisture and brings your skin back to its supple self in no time.

5. It’s all about keeping the pores happy

Changes in the weather make our pores hella cranky.

Environmental causes are some of the major factors in skin issues, meaning that our pores have a bit of a ‘mare in the winter especially. Our skin has its own survival techniques which can be the bane of our facial lives, but really it’s just trying to do it’s job.

6. Don’t let it dry out

Farber also claims that “If your skin is dry, it’ll often feel tight and have a white-ish flaking more diffused all over the face. Oily skin will often concentrate around sebaceous areas, like the T-zone, and pores in this areas may be visibly larger.”

Dry skin translates to an overproduction of sebum and oils, most likely because of the extreme temperate changes from freezing cold outdoors to overheated indoors.

7. Keeping your skin cleansed is a MUST- no matter what type you are.

Yon-Ka ESSENTIAL Masque 103 is a purifying, clarifying mask which may actually save your skin, become the love of your life and have your kids all at once. A bold claim for a bold product.

This detoxifying mask contains three types of clay which purify the skin, tighten pores, brighten the complexion and leave it with an exceptional glow.

Glow up, shine down. It's ideal.

8. Stay THURSTY

Drink as much water as you are physically capable of every day, and your pores will thank you for it- guaranteed. Everyone needs different amounts, the two litres per day ‘fact’ is most likely a myth but if your body is dehydrated then so is your skin, that math adds up.

9. Use a clean towel whenever you are washing that lovely face of yours!

You don’t want any bacteria present in the towel to be transferred right back onto your face. Pat your skin dry instead of roughly trying to rub the make-up or skin cells off.

Clean towels prevent oily skin and breakouts, so they’re essentially your undercover guardian angel. Wash them at LEAST once a week, folks.

There you have it, nine core tips for surviving the winter with oily skin.

Remember that each person is totally unique, and research and discover what products feel right for you. Treat your skin with the care and calm it deserves, you’ll be radiant and glowing in no time without the unwanted shine.

Have you ever wondered what Santa Claus actually looks like? You're definitely not the only one.

And without all of the movie and Coca Cola depictions of Saint Nic, how on earth would we even know?

Well luckily, John Moores University’s Face Lab in Liverpool has done some extensive research in order to construct an accurate representation of what Santa really looks like, based on scientific and historical information on his origins.

Image from the St. Nicholas Center, www.stnicholascenter.org

Based on the fact that Santa Claus is a depiction of Saint Nicholas of Maya, a bishop renowned for his great generosity, the Face Lab has recreted the saint's features to see what the mince pie loving mythical man would look like.

The recreation was also based on x-rays and photographs taken of the skeletal remains of the saint in 1957, which are said to be buried in southern Italy.

"This is the most realistic appearance of St Nicholas based on all the skeletal and historical material. It is thrilling for us to be able to see the face of this famous 4th century bishop," Professor Caroline Wilkinson of the Face Lab wrote on their website.

Image result for santa

A few distinctive features include a broken nose which healed asymmetrically, and a height of 5'4, which was average back in the 4th century.

All the better for stooping as he climbs out of fireplaces, we would think.

Ahh the X Factor – the only talent hunt on TV where the judges are guaranteed to be more dramatic than the contestants.

While you might think reintroducing the winning trio of Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne to the judging panel would mean smooth sailing for the series, that doesn't necessarily mean Louis will be holding his tongue when it comes to his fellow judges.

In an interview with The Daily Star, the Mayo man discussed Sharon's recently rumoured cosmetic surgery touch-up and said: "She is looking really well. She has got a new face. It’s her third face and it is the best one yet."

“She has had a bit of work done," he claimed, before saying: "I have great fun with her and she does not mind me saying things like that.”  Sounds like Mrs O must be very understanding!

Being a little kinder towards Nicole Scherzinger, Louis said: “Nicole is the best judge. Getting Sharon back was something different, I think. That was a tough job as her and Simon don’t always see eye to eye.”

It seems Louis is in a confessional mood these days as last month he hit out at former X Factor judge Cheryl when he claimed that Nadine Coyle was the only Girls Aloud member that could actually sing.

We can't wait to hear what he comes out with next.

She's previously admitted to having lip and cheek fillers because she was "bored," but now Tulisa Contostavlos' fans think she's gone a step too far.

The singer sparked concern a few days ago when she posted a selfie to Instagram, captioning it: "Rise & shine." However, even though the former X Factor judge is fresh-faced in the snap, she looks like a completely different person.

Rise & Shine

A photo posted by Tulisa Contostavlos (@tulisasinstagram) on

She furthered the concern today when she took to the social media site again, posting another barely-recognisable face.

This time she simply captioned the pic with a lip emoji, but instead of hugs and kisses, her followers flooded her page with messages like, "Tulisa ruined her pretty face."

Another user commented, "Tulisa has had some sort of face transplant," and one more follower said, "Fact is Tulisa was buff before the surgery, don't know why she had to go and remould her face, who made her this insecure (sic)."

We have to admit, she looks very different from her N-Dubz and X Factor days.

Not only is she making her own beauty empire, but Kylie Jenner has reportedly been asked to be the new face of sports brand, Puma.

Not shy of a photoshoot, Us Weekly reports that the reality star will only take on the role as "brand ambassador" and won't be designing anything like Rihanna did last year.

While neither Kylie or Puma have confirmed the story, it's looking pretty solid. Kylie even retweeted a news piece about it this morning.

We do think she'll be an insanely cool cover girl for the brand though and we're expecting a very edgy vibe coming from her.

Christmas can be an amazing time of year – lots of cosy snuggles, warm fires, pretty lights and presents. However, it also means a LOT of time spent at home and around our local area. Sometimes fun – sometimes hellish.

Here are the faces we will probably need to perfect to get through the rough moments this Christmas:

1. The ‘Oh my God, I LOVE it’ face

2. The ‘Mmm, this tastes SO good, how did you make it?’ face

3. The ‘trying hard to stay awake in mass’ face

4. The ‘I’m so wasted and trying not to show it’ face

5. The ‘I’d love to teach you how to Skype your sister on your new iPad, mom’ face

6. The ‘no way, I did NOT eat the last mince pie’ face

7. The 'Oh, it is just so good to see you, you look great' face

A woman was punched in the face at Notting Hill Carnival on Monday.

The reason? She asked him to stop groping her.

Mary Brandon was attending the fun event when the man in question put his hand on her bum, describing the shocking incident on her Facebook page, Mary said: “At Notting Hill Carnival yesterday a man in the crowd grabbed my ar**. When I told him not to he did it again. I pushed him away, exercising my right to tell a man to stop touching my body without my permission, so he took a swing at me and punched me in the face.”

Mary was then forced to spend nine hours in the hospital getting her injuries tended to.

She went on to say how this unacceptable behaviour has affected the way she feels she must deal with future similar incidents: “A woman should be able to leave the house without fear of being sexually assaulted whether in future it’s best not to do anything at all. Maybe it’d be safer to ignore it when someone invades your personal space. But I can honestly say I will always stand up to someone who thinks they can get away with this behaviour and I’d take a punch again.”

The police are currently investigating the incident.

Despite the horrific crime against her, we are so glad she is standing strong and not allowing this man to make her feel afraid or scared about standing up for herself.

All the best for your recovery, Mary!
