The search for the perfect winter coat can be absolutely draining.

We've all felt the struggle: the indecisive Irish temperature has suddenly dropped to Baltic levels, we can see our breath in the air and our wardrobe just isn't prepared.

Is it too much to ask to look stylish and feel warm and cuddly at the same time? Hell nah. Penney's has us covered.

Stacey Solomon has collaborated with Penneys to give us winter glamour, and this coat is the ideal staple style piece to completely transform your look in one easy step.

Coming in at just €40, Penneys continue to offer affordable clothing with Stacey Solomon's personal casual style.

Judging by her social media posts recently, the 28 year old TV personality is just as over the moon about the collab as we are.

Throw the coat on with some jeans and runners for day-time wear, and add a pair of heels and a little black dress underneath for night-time party wear.

The check pattern is perfectly on trend for Autumn/Winter, and is versatile as well as bold.

It's beyond ideal. Thanks Penneys, you always serve us winter warmth.

Magic makeup bags are definitely one of the best inventions to come out of the beauty industry this year.

It's a fairly nifty little contraption – a makeup bag that uses a drawstring to contain all of your makeup while also giving you the freedom to open the bag up wide and see all your bits.

There's nothing worse than scrabbling around the bottom of  your makeup bag looking for your eyelash glue or pot of concealer, and these magic bags rectify that issue.

As always, Penneys is ahead of the curve and has hopped on the trend.

As pointed out by a particular former blogger gossip page, the bags can be purchased from wholesalers, but that process involves ordering the bags in from far-flung countries which take months to arrive, or, you can get them from overprices beauty boutiques.

To be frank, the Penneys version is much higher quality and equally as affordable.

The bags come in at a steal, for just €4.00.

Ideal for travelling or gals with a lot of makeup who like to see it all clearly and in the one place, the bags are dead handy.

They're the perfect stocking filler for the beauty junkie in your life, and we know it's ages until Christmas, but we advise snapping one up soon before they fly off the shelves.

Underwear as outerwear is not a new concept, but lately, I've noticed a recurring trend on my Insta feed of bloggers stepping out in their pyjamas.

Now, I'm not talking a fuzzy flannel two piece here, instead, a simple leopard print night dress has been repurposed with some creative styling.

Bloggers such as Dublin-based Sarah Hanrahan and Galway girl Ciara Walsh have posted looks featuring the animal skin slip, proving that it's a nationwide trend.

Sarah was the first to utilise the night dress and kick start the trend, which can be picked up for a steal at €10.00 in Penneys.

While most of us wouldn't necessarily think to peruse the pyjama section for our newest dress, as Sarah says 'the only real difference between a dress and ‘nightdress’ is labelling.'

With leopard print being a huge trend at the moment, and slip dresses in the pattern going for an average of €30.00 on sites like ASOS and Motel Rocks, it's a genius way to nail a trend on a budget.

Plus, once you've gotten your cost per wear, it can be transferred from your outerwear wardrobe to your pyjama drawer to fulfil it's original intended purpose.

Sarah added her nightie over a minimalist black long-sleeved top and black boots, keeping the overall effect simple and chic – and with absolutely no notion to the fact that she had stepped out in a slip.

Blogger Freya Broni added a white T-shirt under her version of the look, and opted for a high-low mix with a Gucci belt (a blogger staple) and a perspex bag. Adding an urban edge, she donned some white runners to finish the look.

Ciara Walsh wore the nightie without layers, simply flinging a leather jacket over top, proving that it can be as much a night out look as a night-in-bed look.

With so many sartorially sound Irish influencers lending their name to the trend, I'm quite certain this slip is about to be a sell-out in Penneys.

I'll catch you in the Pjs section where I'll be hunting down my own…

Stacey Solomon is one of our fave gals as she isn't afraid to call bullsh*t on the unrealistic beauty standards women are held to.

The 29-year-old is a breath of fresh air with her bikini selfies and campaign against airbrushing images.

That's why we were living for her Penneys' launch, and she didn't disappoint.

Prepare for your bank account to be drained as the presenter has incorporated everything we love about her into the clothing line.

It's designed to flatter all shapes and sizes, and encourages shoppers to embrace their au natural beauty – and you guessed it, her images for the line haven't been airbrushed.

Stacey actually had real women in mind when she picked pieces for her collection, from warm winter woollens to striking yellow jumpsuits.

Her bubbly and bold personality shines throughout the collection and hits all the right notes with vibrant colours dominating the range.

The body positivity message is really reflected in the carefully crafted clothes, and it's affordable AF – so you can rock day or night time looks, feeling your best.

And if that wasn't enough, 20 percent of profits from full price sales of the Living My Best Life t-shirt will be donated to both the NSPCC and ISPCC.

Purses out ladies, have your cards ready to tap from October 11, when this fun, body-loving collection takes over your local Penneys.

Ah Penneys – our go-to high street haven for all things affordable and on trend.

The fashion HQ has been giving us some seriously stylist pieces of late – but one in particular has caught our eye.

When we spotted this plaid mini-dress in store, we knew we had to snap it up before every blogger in town got their hands on it.

Dress €16. PVC cap €6.00, Boots €17, all Penneys, Turtleneck €16.59 ASOS

The gorgeous mini dress comes in a similar print to that coat we've seen all over Instagram, and the addition of the quadrant of side buttons is an adorable bonus detail.

We're also all about the wrap-over style – making this piece super versatile.

For something a little edgier when we head out for drinks, we're teaming it with this PVC baker boy cap and yellow suede boots, throwing the dress over a slim-fit black turtle neck.

Dress €16, Boots €17.00, Backpack €14.00 and Coat €28.00, all Penneys

For day time, we're opting to add a white t-shirt underneath, black tights, and some plain black booties.

A cosy suede biker jacket looks gorgeous oversized, and red accessories tie in to the subtle hint of red in the plaid.

Best of all, this versatile dress is only €16.00 and it's in stores right now.

Earlier this year, one of Ireland's biggest names in beauty announced that a makeup line would be  her next venture.

Taking to Instagram, Cocoa Brown Tan guru Marissa Carter told her followers that she would be be releasing a full line of makeup, and it officially lands in Penneys, Mary Street today.

The collection has already arrived in pharmacies nationwide, but now fans of the 103 item collection can pick up their favourite pieces along side their fluffy socks, CB tan and packs of earrings.

"Before Cocoa Brown I owned my own salon, Carter Beauty and the satisfaction I got from seeing a woman watching herself transform was second to none."

"Carter Beauty is almost an ode to that. It’s really important to us that our customers get value for their money without skimping on quality.”

With New York Fashion Week in full swing, we're feeling oh-so inspired for the upcoming season.

The street style was on point in the city that never sleeps, and one piece that stood out to us on the street style blogs was the white fur coat.

Whether draped over the shoulders or word with a belt, (hopefully faux) fur coats were absolutely everywhere.

Luckily, Penneys is keeping our winter wardrobes up to date, and already have a seriously cosy looking fluffy coat on offer.

In typical Penneys style, the coat is very affordable, coming in at only €35.00.

Complete with over sized lapels, this furry number is perfect for dressing up any outfit.

Coat €35.00, Penneys

Slung over a black t-shirt, blue jeans and runners for day, or popped on top of a sleek jumpsuit at night, this jacket is very versatile.

The return of faux fur marks the beginning of party season, and we're pretty damn excited fro the seasonal change.

Unless you've been living under a leopard print rock somewhere, you may have noticed that the iconic animal print has made arguably it's biggest comeback for the autumnal season.

Eternally on top of the trend, Penneys introduced a slick leopard print co-ord –  and the influencers of Ireland took note.

For the past week, Instagram has been awash with the co-ord, with top online personalities like Louise Cooney, Dominique Nugent and Tara Steward rocking the set partially or in full.

A post shared by Louise Cooney (@louisecooney_) on

The co-ord features a cropped denim jacket with a slightly distressed hem, matched with a denim mini-skirt in the same print.

The easiest way to look completely on trend is to wear the set together, with a black or white t-shirt or crop underneath.

However, you could team the jacket with jeans and runners for a casual Friday work look, or add the skirt to a black turtle neck jumper, cosy tights and boots.

Jacket €21.00, skirt €15.00, both Penneys

The set landed in the past week, so make sure you get down to Penneys and snap one up before they're all gone.

Summer is drawing to a close, and with the end of summer comes the beginning of arguably the best fashion season – Autumn/Winter.

Into the back of the wardrobe and bottom drawers go the floaty skirts and bandeau tops, replaced by a soothing, autumnal sartorial swathe of utility checks, enigmatic textures and chic layers.

We've already spotted our first must-have fashion piece for our autumn work wardrobe, and it's a steal at €25.00.

Blazer €25.00

The Prince of Wales check blazer from Penners is the perfect basic but stylish piece to create a plethora of stylish work and play outfits over the next few months.

The lightweight fabric and classic cut allow for serious versatility, allowing you to match it with any of your work top and trouser combinations.

Outside of the office, the blazer would look divine worn slightly oversized, flung over a little black dress and statement accessories.

Earrings €3.00, and Cross-body €4.00, both Penneys

We've picked out these tasseled earrings and colourful cross-body as the ultimate items to add to an LBD-and-blazer-combo.  Throw on flat, black boots for day or minimalist black heeled mules for evening.

The blazer would look equally as cute on top of a slouchy white t-shirt tucked into blue jeans and some colourful loafers or runners.

For a night on the town, we'll be buttoning the blazer up over a lacy crop top and donning it as a dress.

Whichever way we style it, we'll be getting our cost-per-wear down to zilch.

And Penneys have just the things that you need; desk lamps, reusable coffee cups, and desk organisers, all of which you can pick up for less than a tenner.

We pulled six top picks from the collection, but, as you will see below, there are plenty of other gorgeous little bits that you can get.

From left: LED desk lamp, €9; Future is Female cushions, €4; Laundry bag, €6.

From left: Glass coffee cup, €7; Peg board, €9; Wire desk set, €10.

That's not all Penneys have on offer though, they also have towels, face cloths, stationery, clocks, glass bottles, bins, rugs and even cups.

Well, we know what we'll be spending all of our money on this Bank Holiday weekend…
