We were heartbroken when Channing Tatum announced his split from Jenna Dewan earlier this year.

But it seems the two parents have moved on, finding partners that make them truly happy.

Channing is now dating British pop star Jessie J, and while they previously said their relationship was casual, it seems this might not be the case any more.

The dad was recently spotted bringing his daughter Everly to his girlfriend’s concert in Los Angeles.

The star clearly wanted to be under the radar, wearing a baseball cap and black hoodie.

Him and Jenna have always been careful to respect their daughter’s privacy and this instance was no exception.

In the photos, the five-year-old has her arms around her dad while he is carrying her into the venue.

Once inside, he protectively holds her on his lap while the two enjoy singing along to the concert together.

The LA performance was the last of Jessie's US shows before she moves on to Britain next week.

Channing came to show him and Everly’s support of his new girlfriend and see her one last time in concert before her world tour.

Bringing along his daughter seems to show their relationship has gone to the next level.

The Magic Mike star still remains on good terms with his ex Jenna and was seen trick-or-treating with her and Everly.

Fans are thrilled to see that the two aren’t letting their divorce affect their daughter’s life.

And now that Jessie may be getting to know Everly, does this mean her relationship with Channing is getting serious?

After much anticipation, the Frozen 2 release date has finally been announced.

Surprisingly, it has been nearly five whole years since the first film came out.

But the movie is as relevant as ever. There were a ridiculous amount of Elsa and Anna costumes this Halloween.

Well, now the Disney sequel will be in theatres on November 22, 2019, which is just over a year away.

Previously, there were rumours of its release on November 29, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, the date has been scheduled for a week earlier.

It is easy to see why the original film was such a box office hit.

After Kevin Spacey faced allegations of sexual assault last year, Netflix made the decision to drop the actor from House of Cards.

The political drama featured him as the main character, so fans were concerned how the newest season would play out.

And after watching the first five episodes of season six, I can honestly say that his termination was the best thing to happen to the series.

House of Cards has been a masterful twist of legal strategy and sinister plotting, exposing the underbelly of politics the public never sees.

After Francis Underwood secured the presidency at the end of season two, critics thought the following three seasons became a grasping at straws, trying to find a new goal for the man who finally achieved what he wanted.

However, others believe that they were necessary and highlighted the dangers of corruption, for they explored the possibility of a criminal in as commander-in-chief of a nation. How would he keep his position?

His downward spiral into the depths of worse and worse crimes, in my opinion, showed that this corruption cannot be sustained in a position of power – eventually, you’ll be found out (or in this case murdered).

But the real focus should have been on Claire's rise from background co-star to forefront leader.

So, where does this leave us in season six?

Claire Underwood is president and steps up to fill Spacey’s shoes. Actually, not fill his shoes because that would ensue she is merely a replacement when in actuality she dominates the lead in a way he never could. She fills the screen with stigma-shattering power.

The opening scene begins with Claire sitting in the oval office at the president’s desk while two men stand in front of her, telling her what she should do.

From the start, we know the newest season isn’t just going to pit Claire’s strength against the presumed authority of men, but it means so much more amidst the current sexual assault allegations in Hollywood.

It’s time for women to step forward and refuse to be “managed” – that’s the word she uses throughout her role. Claire says men have tried to manage her her whole life and instead of blatantly putting them in their equal place, she takes them on Underwood style.

Through a series of well thought out moves, Claire plays into the common beliefs that everyone around her has – “a grieving widow is not fit for office” and “women are too emotional to be involved in war strategy, let alone have the nuclear button”.

Don’t worry and definitely do not question her.

A post shared by House of Cards (@houseofcards) on

She plays the role so well that even I became frustrated with her actions. For while she chillingly breaks the fourth wall to promise us her honesty, we still remain in the dark when it comes to her grand plan.

It’s not until the fifth episode that everything falls into place and her mastery is revealed. And I felt my conviction for, at times, falling into the stereotypical trap. Of course, Claire is the smartest character to hit the screens, she knows exactly what people want to believe and how to use it against them.

Although reviews have been mixed about the newest season, everyone seems to agree that Robin Wright (Claire Underwood) shows unparalleled talent in her role – as if it was who she was born to play.

My advice is to re-watch the last season or at least a few episodes before you start season six, for they bring back a few far off characters that I had forgotten about.

And be sure to accept the newly introduced iconic Shepherd duo. Their roles are brilliantly thought out and needed as Claire’s arch enemies. Bill Shepherd is the entitled white man we all want to punch in the face, and Greg Kinnear portrays him perfectly.

And even if you feel lost among the first four episodes, stick through it until the end of the fifth. You won’t be disappointed, for there is nothing more satisfying then when everything clicks into place – especially when it’s for a character you’ve been rooting for.

While the months are getting colder, our palettes are still craving a cool, frozen sweet treat.

Luckily, we are spoiled for choice when it comes to confectionery, but at this time of year, we're out to treat ourselves with something special.

Rolled ice cream is not only delicious, it's also the most Instagram friendly dessert we have ever seen.

Arctic Stone is our ride or die when it comes to the icy delicacy –  and as their rolling videos portray, the technique takes major skill.

A bit of history on the process, rolled ice cream is regularly served in Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and the Philippines – originating in the Thai capital.

The technique involves pouring the sweet liquid onto a freezing plate, before the expert rollers use some major skill to carefully shape the now-forming ice cream.

Arctic Stone was inspired by the popular rolling method after founder Caolán Cullen was enchanted by the method during his travels.

He knew he needed to take the concept back to Ireland, where he could improve the technique by using the most delicious Irish ingredients.

Back in the Emerald Isle, Cáolan started brainstorming, and came up with Arctic Stones signature flavours – and the genius idea to build a business around the foodie treat.

A cold plate was sourced, and with the addition of Cáolan's brother Tom to the mix, the rest is history.

Dubbed an innovation dessert, rolled ice cream is gaining huge popularity in Ireland thanks to Arctic Stone, and with their diverse flavour range, it's not hard to see why.

From the Muy Bueno, which incorporated the holy grail of chocolate bars, the Kinder Bueno, to Berry Necessities, a fruity burst of summer berries, there is a roll for every palette.

They also regularly try out vegan flavours, with their recent Vegan Blueberry Cheesecake proving to be a hit.

As well as being vegan friendly, one of the company's main priorities is being environmentally aware, with Cáolan being strongly opposed to the use of single use plastic.

So since day one, all of Arctic Stone's packaging, spoons, straws, cups, etc are all 100% certified compostable and eco friendly. Swit swoo.

The lads now have two locations in Dublin, one in Blackrock market, where you can find them rolling from Wednesday to Sunday, and in People's Park Dun Laoghaire, where they set up shop on a Sunday.

However, Cáolan is already planning on expanding nationally, and has set his sights on opening stores in Galway, Cork and Belfast – all at the ripe old age of 24.

So look out, the ice cream innovation could soon be rolling into a city near you.

Does anyone else agree that those weird military style shoulder buttons on your jacket are totally pointless?

Well, apparently they've held a purpose this entire time… our minds are more than a little bit blown.

A woman has kindly revealed this fact to those in the Twittersphere, and the internet has lost it's sanity as a result:

So, you mean to tell us that our bags are actually meant to sit on our shoulders… and not fall off?

But, is this not impossible? Like a long lost wish from an apparel genie?

Francheska Horsburgh, 18, from Cumbria has caused a minor meltdown with this information, and the photo has now been liked over 78,000 times. Good God.

What many people don't realise is that this style of shoulder feature is actually a military throwback.

Back in the day, these bad boys used to hold ammunition bandoliers, back packs and bayonets in place. They were also a sign of your military rank or insignia.

See gals, we can learn something new every day.

Drop this knowledge on your fellow gals and we guarantee they'll be SHOOKETH.

Halloween might be done and dusted but a genuine chill of fear rippled through me when I read these next three words: low rise jeans.

I mean, if you're JLo circa 2002 then by all means, don't let my frustration and seething envy stand in your way.

But if you're like the majority of us and feel quite at home in your go-to high-waisted jeans, then this may not be the best news.

We have a lot to thank the early 2000’s for – Paris and Nicole’s iconic friendship, Britney being Britney and Xtina’s Stripped album.

Low rise jeans or bumsters are what we try and forget ever happened in the early 2000’s – but word is that they are making a comeback.

The runways are our glimpse into the fashion world an the trends to come and they have been showing a lot of low slung jeans – were talking full on hip-grazing designs.

It was Alyx’s Matthew Williams June  fashion show where a few trousers dipped suspiciously below the navel.

And in the women’s wear shows? Chanel, Courrèges, Versace followed suit, to name only a few.

What is happening?!

It seems that people are feeling our pain about this re-apparoaching trend, just look at some of these gas tweets.

So, why is it happening?

Is a nostalgia thing? Are we so wrapped up in our obsession of times gone by that were looking at ugly trends through rose-tinted glasses?

Are we romanticising Britney’s 2001 “Slave 4 U” snakeskin thong worn over leather pants?

Or Christina Aguilera’s lace-up low riders on the Stripped album cover?

I think we just might be tbh.

And speaking for myself, Ill be sticking to my trusty mom jeans.

Flattering? Maybe not? Do I freeze my arse off? I do not.

And that’s a win in my book, so you can keep your low-risers, thank you very much.

Dear Dublin,

We get on alright you and me, don't we? We've known each other intimately for the guts of five years and honestly, I couldn't picture being anywhere else but you.

I've traipsed across your complex cacophony of bridges over the beautiful (albeit trolley-filled) waters of your Liffey on many the night out.

I've learned how to navigate your public transport system, and I've even been robbed on the Luas – twice!

I've even been stopped by tourists and asked for recommendations or directions, and to my very own surprise, been able to answer them with ease.

Maybe these things don't necessarily make me a city slicker, but I do cherish our relationship because you are able to give me things my own county can't – my dream job most specifically, but also an amazing array of opportunities.

But there's something we need to discuss and we need to discuss it pretty urgently, because if we don't have a chat about it soon, there's a major chance my eye will stand wandering to cities farther afield.

Cities like London, where a one-bedroom flat in Dalston is officially cheaper than anything I've seen on Daft.ie lately.

A post shared by Dublin Doors (@thedoorsofdublin) on

If I see one more advertisement advising me to share a triple bunk bed room with two men (females only) for nine hundred euro, I'll scream.

Don't get me started on those Facebook pages, where up to 40,000 wannabe Dubliners flock every single day to envelop anyone with an overpriced shed for rent with a furious snowstorm of 'PM'd' 'PM'd' PM'd.'

You have all the jobs a budding graduate could want, but seemingly nowhere to store your ever-growing workforce.

We live, bumping shoulders, in back-to-back residential sprawls and cramped apartments, praying to land in an home that's at least a minimum one hour commute from work.

I hear words on the radio like normalisation recovery, vacant property tax and developers dream, and yet see no more properties on the market from one week to the next.

A post shared by Mathilde. (@mathilde.obln) on

Most weeks when I put my 'max' affordability into a rental website, I see those three tragic words- 'no results found.'

Occasionally, there are some available spaces in my price range. Car parking spaces, that is.

People in Ballsbridge and Blackrock renting out their extra car parking space for the same amount of cash that once would have gotten me a place to lay my head .

The days there are properties in my price range, how my heart soars. But unsurprisingly, it quickly sinks again when I see that the kitchen is so small that the toaster is kept in the bathroom, or that the home is only available Sunday night through to Friday, after which you must vacate the property to make room for the landlord's child, home from their countryside college.

Once, I rang a property in Stonybatter to be told that the landlord's rules were no parties, no shoes inside and no using the kitchen, which was kept locked.

But that's okay, one of the tenants told me, she had just bought a microwave for her bedroom!

Realistically, most people can afford to live in Dublin.

It's just that after rent, they're left with quite literally nothing with which to live their lives, nourish their bodies and enjoy their time in you, the most vibrant of Irish cosmopolitan utopias.

When I was a student, it was impossible to find houses, as sub text on housing descriptions read 'professionals only -no students.' How I longed to get into the working world and have my pick of Dublin's properties.

Now it's 'professionals only – minimum five years experience. Minimum four excellent references. Three copies of your current employment contract needed.'

Don't forget your PPS number, your Junior Cert results, the details of your recent smear test and a Rumplestilskin-esque deed to the soul of your first born.

A post shared by Débora Furtacor (@deborafurtacor) on

Don't get me started on the shady landlords, the evil overlords who maintain control over their minute property universe through a combination of financial extortion and backhanded dealings.

From craigslist ads offering discounted rents to women in exchange for sex with seedy landlords, to the almost as offensive demand for a deposit, first two months rent and last months rent up front.

Dublin, I love you, but please get your act together or this may be a break up letter.

I feel that I want you a hell of a lot more than you want me.

Or maybe you do want me, but you just expect me to live in a four-person occupied studio apartment for €400.

Oh, and that's per week.

Whether it’s going for walks, coffee breaks with friends or a weekly yoga class, we all know how necessary that glorious ‘me time’ can be.

Taking some time out of your busy day to focus on yourself is hugely beneficial for your body and mind, and it's not as difficult or time-consuming as you might think.

Mindfulness is the practise of simply being aware of your emotions and accepting them for what they are.

The technique is best described with the acronym RAIN

R – Recognise the emotions you’re feeling

A – Accept the experience you’re having

I – Investigate your experience. Where are the emotions in your body?

N – Non-identification – remember that the emotions you are experiencing are only temporary and do not define you.

Benjamin Reisterer, a therapist at Mindful Counselling GR, described the practice:

"It's really about just slowing down and paying attention in a non-judgmental way."

"Take a deep breath and really understand what's upsetting you in that moment you can communicate on more of a mindful level and a more authentic and respectful level."

He added, "The more that you slow down and kind of pay attention to it the more you'll understand what's going on and how it's affecting you.’’

Benjamin also created, MetaFi, a mindfulness app, designed to help strengthen the user's emotional connection between their mind and body.

He likened mindfulness to physical exercise. The more you do it, the stronger you get.

"The more you do it, the more results that you have. But if we're really paying attention to the physiological responses, sometimes that's our first clue to what we're actually experiencing in that moment."

By simply taking the time to become aware of our emotions and letting them exist as they are, we can regain some control and over time develop a healthier, more positive outlook on life,
