Move over chocolate and strawberry, a new ice cream flavour has arrived to steal the top spot on our favourite flavours list.

We love ice cream, and we love gin, so combining the two to create a tasty gelato concoction is the stuff of dreams.

Scoops, located in Ranelagh and on Aungier Street, Dublin, is serving up scoops of the soft stuff laced with Hendricks gin and Fevertree tonic.

If that wasn't enough, the gelato is also flavoured with cucumber, so it's literally like indulging in a refreshing G&T with all the toppings.

But better, of course, because ice cream.

They also serve crepes and coffees, so if you have one G&T gelato too many you can sort yourself out with a strong brew and a bit of soakage.

Please, just serve us a vat of the stuff…

Following the success of Sunday night's One Love Manchester concert, Ariana Grande is set to release her cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow as a charity single.

The 23-year-old singer closed the benefit gig with a spine-tingling version of the Judy Garland classic.

The decision comes after a fan campaign called for the song to be released in an effort to raise money for for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

Since Saturday, proceeds from the sales of Ariana's song, One Last Time, have been donated to the same fund. It currently sits at number two in the UK charts but is expected to reach number one later this week.

According to The Sun, a source has revealed that “Ariana’s team are working out behind the scenes what is necessary for the song [Somewhere Over the Rainbow] to be released.”

“But everyone’s confident there won’t be anything stopping it getting out there and continuing to help those affected by the tragedy.”

With performances from Liam Gallagher, Coldplay, Justin Bieber anf Katy Perry (just to name a few), One Love Manchester proved to be a massive success and has so far raised £10 million for victims of the Manchester attack.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that Ariana and her crew got worker bee tattoos as a tribute to the city.

So, the weather is heating up, and according to new research so too are our sex lives.

A new survey has revealed all the unusual places we love to have sex – and there's a few surprises.

Sex toy retailer, Lovehoney, asked 1,000 people where they liked to get hot and heavy outside the bedroom and the results showed that couples are becoming more and more adventurous.

The shower proved to be the most popular location, aside from the bedroom, with 92 per cent of couples revealing they have indulged in the act.

In second place – the sofa (84 per cent) followed closely by in front of the television (74 per cent).

When it came to locations outside of the home, many couples admitted to getting it on in some rather risqué places.

Just over one third of us have been intimate in a greenhouse or garden shed while 26 per cent of us have gotten frisky in a garage.

Sex on a train was the next favourite with around 15 per cent of couples revealing they had used the opportunity to indulge in a little alone time.

Meanwhile, only one in ten of us can claim membership of the Mile High Club.

Check out the full list below.

1. In the shower – 92% of couples
2. Bath – 89%
3. Sofa – 86%
4. In front of TV – 74%
5. Kitchen table – 65%
6. Garden – 58%
7. Car – 57%
8. Stairs – 47%
9. Greenhouse or garden shed – 37%
10. Garage – 26%
11. On top of the washing machine – 21%
12. Train – 15%
13. Plane – 11%

A spokesperson for Lovehoney said: "Couples are becoming increasingly adventurous – and that has to be good thing."

"Sex in the shower was the runaway winner and we find that tends to get even more popular as the weather heats up."

“In the last month searches on the Lovehoney site for ‘Shower Sex’ and ‘Sex in the Shower’ have rocketed by over 700% – suggesting that when the sun comes out, we look at more risque places to have sex including the shower."

The research also revealed that couples who have a satisfying sex life, actually have a more fulfilling relationship overall.

"All Lovehoney research shows that couples who are happy in the bedroom have better and more fulfilling relationships."

According to Tracey Cox’s Guide To Sex In Adventurous Places, we would all benefit from opening our minds to sex in non-traditional locations.

“Just as there are certain sex acts that shouldn't be missed, there are places you should have been naked in.”

“Garden sex is fun, especially on a swing… Some claim the only time our bodies are truly at peace is when the sun beats down on us because the sun's and body's biorhythms are the same.”

You've just got to be sensible about it. She recommends you leave on as many clothes as possible and have an exit strategy planned in advance.

Own up, how many times have you screengrabbed someone's picture on Insta to send to your WhatsApp group chat, for whatever reason?

The thought of Instagram telling people when we screen shot makes us want to run screaming into the night and never show our faces in polite society ever again, so the latest update on the app really freaked us out.

From your next update, you will be able to send people time-sensitive pictures to their DMs (basically Snapchat but through the Insta app).

If you decide to screenshot the image, the sender will be immediately notified, again kind of like on Snapchat.

However, this doesn't apply to the direct messages in general, so if some creeper slides into your DMs and you have to screenshot what they said, you're safe.

So now, no social media sites are free from the dreaded screenshot notification.

There aren't enough snake emojis in the world to sum up how we feel about this latest development.

Thankfully, there is no word that Instagram is going to start notifying people when we screengrab their actual images or feeds, and we hope that development NEVER gets rolled out.

Casual social media stalking is way too amusing a hobby to abandon if that one ever come in.

Unless I'm totally ignorant to the world, very few people are morning people.

And if they are, they're probably also the kind of people who do laundry before they run out, answer every email as it arrives and never eats cereal for dinner.

Cosmo recently published an article titled 12 Things Morning People Do Every Day, and while we can all aspire to be like these remarkable beings someday, the rules set in place for being a 'morning person' are total notions. And here's why…

They say: Set only one alarm

We say: Setting only one alarm in the morning is a disaster waiting to happen. If you don't have a strong will to get out of your warm bed, you'll no doubt fall back asleep with nothing else to wake you.

Cue an awkward conversation with your boss as to why you're an hour late…

Black and White Alarm Clock at 2:34

They say: And set the alarm 15 minutes earlier than you think you need to

We say: Noooo! Get all the sleep you possibly can. The writer of the article states, "Those extra 15 minutes of sleep aren't going to make a difference in the rest of your day, anyway."

Those extra 15 minutes make ALL the difference and are the key to us being acceptable human beings for the entire day.

They say: Skip the quality time with your phone

We say: Yes, in an ideal world we would rid ourselves of all technology an hour before we go to bed.

But, that never happens, does it? Those Instagram Stories aren't going to watch themselves, you know.

android phone, app, blur

They say: Eat your breakfast sitting down

We say: Again, in an ideal world we would have our kitchen table set up with a delish breakfast and read the morning paper while munching on granola.

But, we savour our sleep and those extra 15 minutes that were mentioned above means we need to have a speedy breakfast. And that does not happen while sitting down.

They say: Make your dang bed

We say: This is the point in the article that made us LOL. Between getting ourselves ready, eating breakfast sitting down and neatly making our beds, we'd have to be awake about two hours earlier than usual.

Plus, doesn't a neat bed mean bed bugs? Now, nobody has time for that.

They say: Actually get up to exercise

We say: We have to admit that we see early morning gym bunnies on our way into the office, and fair play to them. We wish we could do it.

But, if we have to get a bus, a Luas or spend more than an hour in traffic trying to get to work, the most exercise we'll be doing is giving side eye to the person eating cheese and onion crisps on the 6.15am bus.

They say: Go. To. Bed. On. Time.

We say: *uncontrollable laughter* Because… we all know that's not going to happen, right?

At this stage, we've all seen Vogue Williams' most recent column in The Sunday World, but just in case you haven't, the model-turned-DJ took the opportunity to use her platform to discuss one of the biggest issues facing our society today – terrorism.

The model, whose column was placed beside an image of her posing in a bikini, said that she was shaken by the Manchester attack, and that it made her feel that 'we can no longer sit around and do nothing,' a sentiment shared by many who despaired of the attack which claimed the lives of 22 people, including children.

The 31-year-old has faced massive backlash from the article, with claims on social media that the star wanted a 'mass internment of Muslims.'

However, after reading the column in its entirety, Vogue makes approximately zero references to the internment of Muslims, but actually says she agrees with the internment of known terrorists.

In fact, the only reference to Muslims in the entire article comes from a description of a Muslim police chief, who is backing internment for terrorists and extremists.

'This is something that should be decided on by the people, but I certainly agree with it. The only way to stop these senseless attacks is to put any potential threats away,' she says, drawing on the opinion of Muslim former police chief, Tarique Ghaffur.

Vogue admits that she is aware that the internment of IRA members in Northern Ireland, 'when 2,000 alleged paramilitaries were held without trial in makeshift camps' did not work, she feels that some kind of action needs to be taken to remove the threat of terrorism before any more people are killed.

Her reference to the IRA internment has led to online cries for the model to 'pick up a history book,' which is fair enough.

While Vogue's opinion on internment may be misguided, she still has a right to give her thoughts on a matter which affects more and more people as time goes by.

I won't pretend to be a security expert (as some accuse Vogue of), so while I won't offer my opinion on her thoughts on the matter, I do think the backlash she has faced comes from a place of dismissal based on her stance as an influencer, that she can't possibly know what she's talking about.

I think it is excellent that Vogue has used her platform to discuss something other than makeup or clothes, as most influencers won't touch social or political issue topics for fear of no longer appealing to their target audience.

It is a step in the right direction for other social media icons, who are looked up to by thousands, to come out and say how they feel about important issues, rather than feeling pigeonholed into certain subjects for fear of causing controversy.

Yes, her opinion is considered wrong by the majority, as evident in the overwhelmingly negative response, but the 'stay in your lane' mentality isn't conducive to an open and engaging society where all opinions are heard, considered, and then (as in the case of Vogue) dismissed.

People are saying that Vogue isn't 'qualified' to speak on the subject because she doesn't have a PhD in security and defence, but if that's the case, then very few people on this planet do have the right to discuss a massive issue, based on education level.

Vogue has proven that she is 'woke' to social issue thanks to her docu-series Vogue Williams – On the Edge, in which she investigated issues like drugs, social anxiety, gender dysmorphia and the obsessiveness nature of beautification in society.

Last time I checked, Vogue isn't an addiction councillor, gender non-conforming or a plastic surgeon, so why is terrorism off the cards for her to discuss?

Her views have been described as 'totalitarian, oppressive and genuinely sinister,' which is grand – the majority agrees that her column wasn't for them – but opening a narrative about these issues is what is so important, in order to come up with better suggestions and solutions.

Clearly, the vast majority of us disagree with Vogue and are anti-internment, but what do we think should be done?

Yes, we're bloody mortified for Vogue and the reciprocation of her comments, but she should still be allowed to offer her perspective, despite her status as a woman, influencer, model, DJ etc…

As a society, we have considered her opinion and deemed it to be unsavoury, so let's find better recommendations now, moving forward.

As London attempts to come to terms with Saturday's night abhorrent attack on innocent civilians, further information regarding the attackers' backgrounds is now coming to light.

And as the Irish public learns that one of the now deceased attackers recently spent time living in south Dublin, security analyst, Tom Clonan, has offered his perspective on Ireland's vulnerability in the current climate.

Speaking on Today with Sean O' Rourke, he acknowledged that the nation's status is ever-changing.

"The risk profile for the Republic has changed. This time last year, I would have said that an attack in Ireland was possible, in theory, but highly unlikely," he said.

"As of today, unfortunately, and very sadly, we have to consider that an attack in Ireland, whether a lone-wolf attack or a supported-network attack, is a distinct possibility.”

“The fact that we had an Irish resident on the street in the Borough markets, creating havoc, we cannot assume therefore that we are immune to such an attack," he added.

Using Sweden as a comparison, the security analyst explained that despite being seen as "a country with a very low threat assessment, a neutral country like Ireland, with a very well-integrated ethnic minority", the Swedish capital still came under attack when a hijacked truck targeted crowds in the country's capital.

However, despite his concerns, Mr Clonan was keen to assuage the public in light of his remarks, and reinforced the belief that Ireland's position varied greatly from Britain's while speaking positively about Ireland's Islamic community.

“The vast majority of Irish Muslims are extraordinarily well integrated. They play Gaelic games; they participate actively in all aspects of Irish life," he said.

It was only in the aftermath of the One Love concert when people began to question, 'Where was Usher'?

The singer was on the line up to play along side Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Robbie Williams, Laim Gallagher, Coldplay and Take That.

However, he was a no-show at the gig and Twitter was quite confused as to where he was.

Well, Usher took to social media last night to explain his reason, and it's pretty legit.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: "So happy to see that last night's concert in Manchester proved that love always prevails.

"I would have loved to be there but it was my son's first day at Camp Kudzu, one of the few summer camps for kids living with diabetes.

"This was an important day for him and for myself as a proud father. Stay strong UK."

The concert raised more than 9 million in the space of a few hours. Over 10.9 million people tuned in on BBC1 alone, however it was also streaming on Twitter and numerous other sites, with reports suggesting it was the most-watched concert ever to take place.

After the massive success of the Strike 4 Repeal and the Women's March this year, another rally has been organised to bring further visibility to the issue of abortion rights in Ireland.

The Rally to Repeal is happening on Saturday, June 17, on Dublin's Dame Street.

The rally is being organised by The Coalition to Repeal the Eighth Amendment, an alliance of more than 70 organisations campaigning to repeal the Eight Amendment.

'In 1983 the Eighth Amendment was added to the Irish Constitution,' reads the event description.

'It has meant that abortion is illegal in almost all circumstances, except where there's a substantial risk to a pregnant woman’s life.'

'It also means abortion pills are illegal, even though many women get them online.'

'Almost no women of childbearing age in Ireland have ever had a vote on it, even though it directly affects their lives.'

'Several women have died because of it, including Savita Halappanavar.'

'It must go. The government-appointed Citizens’ Assembly agrees.'

The rally aims to encourage the government to 'hold an immediate referendum to repeal the Eighth Amendment from the Constitution in order to respect and protect women’s lives, health and choices.'

So ladies, we're officially less than 24 hours away from the first day of the Leaving Cert.

And, as you can imagine, Twitter is lit right now.

Instead of actually… you know… studying, this year's candidates are tweeting their thoughts about the upcoming state exam, and suffice to say, it makes for hilarious reading.

What they lack in preparation, they more than make up for in humour.

1. You have been warned.

 2. Yeah, why like?

3. Been there.

4, Yeah…

5. Graphic… but understandable.

6. Yup.

7. Ah, our spirit animal.

8. Positive thoughts…

9. That's one way to go about it.

10. Oh, we relate.
