Following Buzzfeed’s video of American people tasting Irish snacks such as Taytos, black pudding, Cadbury’s chocolate and lots more, College Times decided to conduct their own experiment!
Some American snacks tried out by the group include the Twinkie, that strange macaroni and cheese in a box and marshmallow fluff (um, yum?!)

She continues about how much she loves vintage clothes:
“Clothing with a story, a past. Heavy fabrics, jewels, veils. My latest trip is feeling a connection to all women throughout history through fashion. I love wearing clothes knowing that I’m carrying the spirit of previous fashionistas, and living out more of their fantasies, and my own. I believe clothes carry the soul of the designer and the person wearing them forever, so I look for clothes with a soul. Perhaps it’s something only I can see. But I know it’s real.”

The former Cheetah Girl, who recently said in La Latina magazine that appearing in KUWTK harmed her career, decided to clear things up over Instagram last night.
Posting a picture, the star wrote: “Fame and a Career are two different things. I’ve always had a career. I have been working hard since I was 15 years old.
Being someone’s “girlfriend” was never what I wanted to be famous for.
What makes you “famous” isn’t always what you want to be “labelled” as, or known for. If anyone should understand that… It should be you.
I also stated in the article that none of this would have stopped me from being in love and being in that relationship. I just would have gone about it differently. You can love someone just as much in private. We all learn from our first loves.”

It seems ‘lazy jogging’ is the latest fitness trend to hit and we have to admit we love it!
It doesn’t mean jogging while sitting on the couch (if that is even possible…) what it does mean is running for short periods at a reduced speed – so basically a fairly quick walk but not quite a run!
According to a study of 55,000 adults over 18, those who ran less than 60 minutes in a week benefited just as much as those who did more than three hours – we’re pretty sure they weren’t as fit though?!
Dr. Duck-Chul Lee – we are absolutely loving his name – from Iowa State University, said: "Running may be a better exercise option than more moderate intensity exercises for healthy but sedentary people since it produces similar, if not greater, mortality benefits in five to 10 minutes compared to the 15 to 20 minutes per day of moderate intensity activity that many find too time consuming."
So, now you definitely can’t use the excuse of 'I don’t have time to be healthy'!

Of course there’s nothing we'd rather do than spend five hours getting glam, followed by six hours of gossiping, bitching and laughing but it’s not worth the sulking you’re inevitably going to do if we go.

Yes, Facebook did remind us that today is our anniversary.

How cute is The Saturday’s Frankie?
The singer recently wed her long-term partner and father of her son, Wayne Bridge.
And now, she has decided make things official and has changed her name on her Twitter account to Francesca Bridge!
Her bandmate, Una, did the same thing when she married her rugby beau, Ben Foden, as did Rochelle Humes when she tied the knot to JLS’ Marvin.
Frankie previously uploaded a gorgeous image of a holiday sunset while on her honeymoon, with the sweet caption: "Time to go home Mrs. Bridge."

When Alexis Lamoureux heard about a troglodyte home (AKA a cave dwelling) that his great aunt used to own in France, he went to have a look.
The house/cave had been left to crumble for the last 25 years, but it didn’t put Alexis off. He snapped up the property for one euro at an auction, and then himself and his girlfriend got to work.
They had to come up with €25,000 to fund the renovations, and because no one would give them a loan, they worked for three years in his father’s restaurant and saved like hell.
That’s when the real work began: “There was no water, there was no sewer, nothing at all. We had to dig the trench hole along the path, me and my girlfriend, in order to have the water coming, the electricity and the sewer. And then we did the networks inside. We now have two bedrooms with two bathrooms [and] one kitchen, and we just recently got the Internet. It’s just like a modern house now.”
Apparently living in a troglodyte home is becoming common place in France: “It’s very hard to find a job at the moment. Regular apartments are not really affordable, especially for young guys. You can expect to get these places for very cheap. Within ten years, you won’t have any neglected anymore because everyone is starting to renovate them. Some young guys do—there is one young guy in my town doing the same—but mostly it’s investors.”
We would LOVE to live in one of these places, and if you want to experience what it’s like, Alexis and his girlfriend Lotte van Riel are renting out their second bedroom on AirBnB!
