The Hunger Games books were a massive part of my childhood so it’s safe to say my heart skipped a beat when I found out that author Suzanne Collins has penned a prequel to the bestselling series.

The name of the book has yet to be released and it is currently referred to as Untitled Panem Novel.

The untitled prequel will be set 64 years before the events of The Hunger Games. The tale will take place in Panem on the morning of the reaping of the tenth Hunger Games.

Suzanne Collins opened up about the fourth installment in the beloved series that had readers gripped in the early noughties.

“With this book, I wanted to explore the state of nature, who we are, and what we perceive is required for our survival. The reconstruction period ten years after the war, commonly referred to as the Dark Days—as the country of Panem struggles back to its feet—provides fertile ground for characters to grapple with these questions and thereby define their views of humanity.”

We can’t wait to get our hands on a copy of The Hunger Games prequel.

The book is set to be published on May 19, 2020.

Last month, Jennifer Lawrence sat down with MTV for an interview. During this particular chat, the Oscar winner happened to mention that she didn’t wash her hands after using the bathroom.

The world was not ready for that news.

As it happens, JLaw herself was not all that happy about how much attention her confession was getting.

So, she did what any celebrity of the moment would do and took to social media to straighten it all out.

She posted a video to demonstrate to her many fans that she knows you have to wash your hands after using the toilet.

The post on her Facebook page explains that JLaw was only talking about washing her hands in the first place because she was trying to "gross out" Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. Nice, Jen.

She said that she hates "talking to the Internet" but she "can't get asked another question about my hygiene on this press tour." According to the star this is the one rumour about herself that she had to put to rest.

Watch her video here, and be prepared to laugh, a lot.

From Jen!

I hate talking to the Internet but I can't get asked another question about my hygiene on this press tour. I told MTV I didn't wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world. Of course I wash my hands after going to the bathroom! (I can't believe I've put myself in a situation where I even have to say that.) Anyway with all the rumors I've ever heard about myself this is the one I really had to put to rest. -Jen

We all know Jennifer Lawrence isn’t the smoothest of celebs. Who can forget her epic fall at the Academy Awards in front of the most famous people on the planet?

Well, now she’s made another small blunder on the red carpet for the latest instalment of The Hunger Games.

Jennifer tried to kiss her co-star, Natalie Dormer on the cheek, but accidently hit her lips. #Awkward.

But J Law didn’t blush or run away (like most of us would) instead she did this:

The latest (and last) premiere of The Hunger Games was described as bitter sweet by many of The Hunger Games cast. But that didn’t stop them from having some fun on the red carpet.

People reports that last Thursday night, Jennifer Lawrence and her fellow castmates from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 walked the red carpet in London for the premiere of the final instalment in the film series. Sob!

It was more than likely their last time walking the carpet together, and Sam Claflin snapped an epic group selfie to remember the experience.

The photo was taken at Leicester Square's Odeon cinema is an excellent tribute to Ellen DeGeneres's Oscar selfie (which Jennifer was also a part of).

The snap included Sam, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Julianne Moore, Gwendoline Christie, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Natalie Dormer, Woody Harrelson, and Stanley Tucci, just to name a few.

But the best part of the photo? The caption. “This isn't goodbye, it's a see you soon," Sam wrote on Instagram.

Sam Claflin and his wife Laura Haddock were the picture of love last night as they took to the red carpet in London for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part Two premiere.

The pair were joined by an extra special guest – Laura's growing bump. Sam took the premiere as an opportunity to reveal that he and Laura are expecting a baby together, and the pair could barely hide their excitement at their happy news.

Clad in an embellished white Burberry V-necked gown and with her hair in a sleek low bun, Laura looked every bit the relaxed expectant mother, posing for photos with Sam and cradling her bump.

Sam and the Inbetweeners star married in 2013, and he has previously spoken out about "falling harder and deeper in love" with his wife every day.

The pair first met at an audition in 2011, and though it took four months before they connected again via Facebook, Sam said he knew instantly that Laura was special.

"'I didn't know anything about her other than that her name was Laura, she was very attractive and she seemed lovely," he said of their first encounter.

"But I went home, woke my friend up at 7am and said, 'I just met the girl I want to marry. I love this girl like, I love her. She's perfect.'"

Sam is set to revive his role as Finnick Odair in the upcoming Hunger Games movie, released on November 20.

The cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (which included a VERY streamlined Jennifer Lawrence), are jetting around the world to promote the new movie but you'll need to brace yourself for the latest clip.

The small trailer includes one of the most anticipated moment in the entire series – for Team Peeta, at least.

If you have read the book, you'll understand that the first strangely romantic "real or not real" line will be just as powerful in the movie as it was on the pages.

In the clip, Peeta, played by Josh Hutcherson, is looking very emotional as he relives the torturous times of being in President Snow's reigns.

But then when Katniss advises her star-crossed lover to rest up, he asks, "You're still trying to protect me. Real or not real?"

“Real,” she replies. “That’s what you and I do. We keep each other alive.”

We all love the funny, quirky and effortlessly-cool Jennifer Lawrence.

She makes us laugh at swanky red carpet events and we love her even more for the hilarious talk-show chats – but the actress has revealed a much deeper side to herself in her latest interview.

In the interview with The New York Times, Brook Barnes dived very deep into the 22-year-old's mind.

"Ok, get a hold of yourself, Jennifer. This is not therapy," the actress mumbled in the middle of the interview.

Since landing her role in The Hunger Games in 2011, Jennifer has been thrown into the height of fame in Hollywood – and the star revealed she suffers a mix of anxiety and self-doubt because of it.

"I'm so scared to say anything now. I can see every negative way that people can take it, and I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining. 'Oh, she’s so conceited now. Oh, she’s so jaded now.'"

The actress even opened up about Googling herself, which she admits is where all the self-doubt started.

“It probably comes from Googling myself. If it were up to me, I would not talk. I would just act.

“You try being 22, having a period and staying away from Google. I once Googled ‘Jennifer Lawrence Ugly.’"

Jennifer knows she shouldn't care what people think of her, but truly it eats her up inside.

“I can’t think of a more wasteful use of my time than to worry about this. Why do I care what people think? But I do.

"I get really insecure about it. The world makes an opinion of you without ever meeting you. That worry should not bother me, but it does. It bothers me."

In contrast, J-Law revealed that as the years go on she is more capable of dealing with her issues. She realises that even though it's hard, everyone will have an opinion of you whether you like it or not.

“I don’t feel like I’m being dragged by anything anymore. I feel more in control. I’m calmer. I know that there’s no point to feeling anxious all day, so I try not to.”

The latest instalment of the hugely popular Hunger Games film series has been much anticipated.

So naturally there’s a lot of promotional work being done in the lead up to the release.

However, it looks like someone may have made a bit of a boo-boo when it came to double, or possibly even triple checking the newest poster to be released for fan consumption.

And when we say ‘bit’ of a mistake, we actually mean a huge mistake.

The spelling error could have possibly been laughed off (which we doubt), except the unique print scenario has given the poster a very NSFW rating.

Considering the rapid-fire nature of social media these days, it wasn’t long before people online caught wind of the error.

While some mistakes can be rectified, considering the amount of screenshots of this going around already, it seems like it could be too little too late. We understand, sometimes mistakes just happen. This was just one very, very unfortunate incident.

Something tells us that someone somewhere is not having such a great day at the office.

The Hunger Games series has gotten more and more thrilling with every instalment, and the wait for the final film is almost over.

The full-length trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 was released today, and it looks just as dark and dramatic as we had expected. Get ready for the final battle, as Katniss attempts to take on the Capital and President Snow, and to liberate the citizens of war-torn Panem once and for all.

Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson all return for the fourth and last film, which is set to hit cinemas in November.

So it seems that not even Oscar winners are immune from dreaded body art mishaps.

Everyone cringes when you spot an individual flashing some ink that has an unfortunate typo. Even Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence has admitted her tattoo fail is pretty embarrassing.

JLaw is sporting a faint inking of the chemical formula for water on her hand, except, as she says herself, “I know that the two is high and in H20 the two is supposed to be low.”

The 24-year old admitted at Comic-Con last week that “I should have Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever.”

She explained that the tattoo was a product of a bonding exercise with her co-star Liam Hemsworth who also got himself some ink. We haven’t heard if his is quite so unique.

“I call this tattoo a watered down rebellion because it’s not like a real tattoo, “she told reporters at the convention.

The tattoo is the colour of the scar, which is probably why not many people have noticed the error until now. She supposedly got the tattoo around this time last year, according to the Daily Mail.

While at a Coldplay concert with her co-stars Liam and Josh Hutcherson, the small, and we mean really small, ink could be seen. We wonder if Chris Martin had any comments on her ‘rebellion’.

The Hunger Games cast made an appearance at the convention last week to promote the next instalment of the franchise. While there, JLaw got the chance to meet one her idols, Bill Murray.

During the panel she admitted that she’s tried to speak with Bill in the past, using co-star Woody Harrelson as a messenger.

“I've sent emails to Woody, mostly when I was drunk, with things I wanted to say to Bill Murray.”

Oh JLaw, don’t ever change, please.

It must be tough having a near-identical brother who just so happens to work in the exact same industry as you… and is pretty damn successful too. The stress of sibling rivalry got the better of poor Liam Hemsworth at Comic Con yesterday when he accused an interviewer of calling him by his brother's name.

Having misheard the journalist who introduced himself by saying, "Hi, I'm Chris," Liam got just a TAD snappy, saying, "You called me Chris? It's Liam. You called me Chris didn't you?"

The flustered interviewer managed to explain the misunderstanding quickly, leaving Liam more than a little red-faced. We have been watching the clip on repeat all morning, so we figured it was time to share it with the world.

Liam is currently at the world-famous event in San Francisco to promote his newest film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 with the help of his co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.

The trio gathered for a Q&A panel with fans, but seemed more interested in having the craic with one another. Messers.

The first posters for the film's final instalment were released yesterday, with a preview trailer also shown at Comic Con. The film doesn't hit cinemas until November, but we already can't wait to see the guys back in action.

Katniss Everdeen is back, and she is ready for battle.

The final instalment of the Hunger Games series, Mockingjay – Part 2, doesn't hit cinema screens until November, but the brand new film posters already have us very excited. Our favourite sees Jennifer Lawrence dressed to kill in an all-red suit with armour and arrows, sitting on President Snow's iconic white throne.

The poster was tweeted last night from the official Mockingjay – Part 2 account, with the caption, "Imagine Tomorrow. #Unite." A slogan at the bottom of the poster reads, "The fire will burn forever," no doubt a reference to Katniss' Girl On Fire costume in the first film.

Other cast posters show Jennifer, Liam Hemsworth and more in striking red warpaint with captions like "Panem Unite," "Husbands Unite" and "Soldiers Unite."

Intense or what?

This is not the only film franchise that Jennifer is wrapping up over the next twelve months. Back in March the actress confirmed that the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, due for release in May 2016, would be her last X-Men film.

The movie is currently being filmed in Montreal, with Jennifer's ex Nicholas Hoult also on set, which we're sure has made for a few awkward moments:
