Jersey Shore star Snooki has welcomed a baby girl into the world!

The proud mum tweeted: “So happy to let you know we had our beautiful daughter this morning Giovanna Marie LaValle. 6.7 lbs, full head of black hair and perfect.”

This is the second child for Snooki and her partner Jionni LaValle who are already parents to Lorenzo who was born in 2012.

Snooki announced that she was expecting a little girl with a cute announcement video back in May – we bet Lorenzo was so excited to meet his new little sister!

Congratulations to the happy family and we just LOVE the name you picked – it’s perfect!

It looks like Rita Ora isn't the only one moving on following her messy split from Calvin Harris!

The DJ and singer/songwriter was spotted taking his video co-star, Aarika Wolf on a date recently – just one of the many apparently!

Aarika stars in Calvin’s video for Blame and it looks like things are heating up for the two have been on a couple of dates since filming the music video.

Nothing compares to the ultimate panic of waking up late for work. It’s impossible to find anything to wear, you’re about to miss the bus, and you haven’t even thought about washing your hair.

Here are a few quick fixes for those days where you have no choice but to work that bedhead look…

1. Whip out the dry shampoo
This product is a saviour for second or third day hair. Spray it into the roots of unbrushed hair, let it sit for a few minutes to soak up excess oil, then either gently tousle it with your fingers and brush it out. Ta-da! Instant grease-free locks.

2. Get sleek ends
If your hair is a total mess unless it’s been blowdried carefully, invest in some dry conditioner – the perfect dry shampoo sidekick! This hydrating spray only goes on the bottom section of your hair – it’s too heavy for the roots. Simply spray on in short bursts and style as usual.

3, Go for beach waves
You can’t go wrong with wild, beachy hair. Start with your trusty dry shampoo and then add sea salt spray all over. Scrunch with your fingers to mess things up a bit and you’re good to go!

4. Try a chic ballerina bun or chignon
These styles actually work far better with dirty hair as your strands have more weight and will stay in place more easily. Start by pulling hair back into a tight pony and then pin into a bun or twist into a chignon.

5. Hide it with a hairband
A thick hairband or even a headscarf or turban can hide a multiple of woes – and they’re all stylish options too. Try a headscarf tied at the back of your neck or even tied into a bow on the top of your head for a really cute, low-maintenance look.

6. Throw it into a messy top-knot
Again, this is another look that works better with second-day hair. Gather hair into a ponytail, twist and pin it at the top of your head. Loose and messy strands make this look, so you can really embrace your bad hair day!

One of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding guest, Andre Leon Talley isn’t too impressed from one aspect of the big day back in May.

Andre, who is contributing editor for Vogue, learnt on Watch What Happens Live that his face had been blurred out of the wedding episodes on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and he is NOT impressed!

Andre claimed that she signed a release to allow his face to be shown on the wedding special and his reaction when he finds out is frankly hilarious as he exclaims: “Oh no – Kim’s gonna hear from me tonight!”

Jennifer Hudson, who was starring on the show too, looked a little concerned as Andre blasted Kim for blocking his face out – uh oh!

Taylor Swift is basically everyone’s best friend…or at least that’s how it feels.

From inviting fans to her HOUSE for an album listening session, to giving her followers advice on friends and boys on Instagram – she really does put the effort in!

But this…this is epic.

A while ago a photo of Taylor Swift began to trend on the internet.  The photo’s caption explained that it was a girl named Becky who died from smoking marijuana. When someone pointed out that the photo was in fact, Taylor Swift, the poster replied: “no its becky.”

And so “no its becky” was born.

Taylor, proving that she is totally down with her fans, the internet AND social media, took a photo of herself wearing a top that read: “no its becky” claiming that she’s tempted to change the cover of her new album, 1989.

We really, really hope she does.

Over the last week or so, you may have heard a bit of buzz about something called Ello.

In case you’re still completely in the dark, Ello is a new social network that is selling itself as the anti-Facebook. Although it’s up and running, it’s still invite-only.

Think of it as the Regina George of social networks – a total Mean Girl. People are so keen to be part of the exclusive club, in fact, that invites are selling for up to $100 on eBay. WTF?!

So what’s all the fuss about?
Aside from the fact that there are fewer members (for now, anyway), what’s the real difference between Ello and any other social network? Well, here’s the thing: it has no ads and the creators say it never will.

That means no annoying sponsored posts, no bizarre weight loss ads starring Miriam O’Callaghan and Jennifer Aniston, and no fear that your information is being shared with companies all over the world.

“You are not a product,” says the Ello manifesto, which describes the site as “a place to connect, create and celebrate life.” Sounds kinda like all the other social networks, if we’re being honest!

Another perk is that you can use any name you like on your profile. This mightn’t seem like a huge deal to most of us, but Facebook’s recent policy that users can only use their legal name on their profiles has outraged many, especially drag performers and LGBT activists.

What’s it like?
We haven’t been invited into the inner circle yet, but we’ve tracked down a few people who have. Ello was created by a group of artists, and the overall look is very minimalist, with lots of white space.

But it’s not very user-friendly according to one user. “Clean and simple—although the look is trying a bit too hard and the actual user experience is a nightmare. Thank you, hipster designers,” said writer Leslie Horn.

It works similarly to Facebook and Twitter, with timelines, news feeds, @ replies, the whole shebang. It’s just a little, well, cooler.

Should I even bother with it?
Hard to say. There’s a big buzz now because it’s still not open to all, but it’s difficult to know whether Ello really could be a match for the other giants out there. No big stars have made the move yet, so it’s not going to be as useful as Twitter is for news or as Instagram is for celeb- stalking.

It’s free to request an invite on the website though, so you might as well get your name on the list!

Otherwise known as the love of your life. You could be just waltzing through your day and then… there he is. Heart palpitations, heavy sweating and emotional warfare, this is the emotional cycle of running into your crush.

1. Internal Panic Attack Upon Sighting

The one day you don’t wash your hair right? You were not expecting to see him, and yet he’s just popped up in your life today. You pause suddenly, look around at places to hide while you figure out what you are going to do next.

2. Look At Your Phone, Avoid Eye Contact

Now that you’ve attempted to hide from your crush, the natural next step is looking at your phone. Because if he does see you, he’ll think “Oh she’s looking at her phone. She’s so busy and popular. I admire her.” Or at least we hope he does.

3. What The Hell Do I Just Do?

Time is running out! Either he is going to spot you awkwardly hiding behind that plant, or he’s going to not see you and go on with his life. But you are desperate to talk to him… aren’t you?

4. Calm down! CALM DOWN!

You feel the onset of an anxiety attack. You’re dying to talk to him! But you can barely compose yourself well enough to even come out from behind that plant! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO!? Panic, so much panic.

5. DAMN! Did He See Me?

*Heart stops*

6. Can’t Look At The Ground, Then He’ll Know I’m Awkward

I was looking at everywhere else apart from you before you looked in this direction anyway.

7. PHEW! He Didn’t See Me…

Now you can now stare at him in peace.

8. Wait. Who Is He Talking To?

Is that the girl who keeps posting on his Facebook? Are they friends or? She’s too pretty to just be friends with him. He’s beautiful… they’re probably dating.

9. Sudden Onset Of Overwhelming Heartbreak

*weeps*

10. HEY!

That sounds like his voice. Was that at me?

11. OH GOD is he…he's walking over!

Act cool.

12. OMG HE WANTS TO TALK TO ME

*Internal high-pitched screaming*

13. WTF I Am I Gonna Say!?!

Maybe he does love me and he just doesn’t want to tell me, yet.

14. No, No Something Else!

Maybe, not that, either…

15. Ok, Just Be Coooool

I can totally be cool. Born cool. So cool. OH GOD WE’RE SHARING THE SAME SPACE.

16. When You Go To Talk

Hold it together woman.

17. All You’re Thinking About When He’s Talking To You

He’s so pretty.

18. “Well I’ll Catch You Later, Nice Talking.”

That went ok right? Time to come down from the emotional roller-coaster and day dream about your babies together.

Sometimes you just have one of those days when you look in the mirror and think "Ew." And while that's okay every once in a while, it's important to realise that mirrors reflect much more than just how we look.

In this video, released by US girlband The Mrs, an interactive mirror was installed in a shopping center, and women were asked to rate what they thought of their own appearance. But with the help of family and friends, the ladies were shown just how little our looks really mean.

The project was part of a campaign which encourages women to look in the mirror and say, "I'm enough."

We challenge you to watch this without tearing up. Excuse us, we just have a little something in our eye…

We shouldn't laugh but…

A BBC viewer noticed that Benedict Cumberbatch is having some trouble pronouncing the word 'penguins' on an episode of South Pacific and the clip is going viral.

The video has been watched over 250,000 times although we're not sure if it has come to the Sherlock actor's attention as of yet.

Former star of The Simple Life (we miss that show) Paris Hilton has been forced to defend herself after her Instagram feed went into meltdown yesterday.

Paris shared a photo that showed herself as a child dressed up in a bunny outfit…but not just any bunny outfit as she described herself: “Dressing up as ‘Playboybunny for Halloween.”

It wasn’t long before her followers began to tell her just how wrong that actually is…

Never one to let others bring her down, Paris posted the photo again, this time taking time to defend herself: “By the way, to all the people that can’t take a joke. I was kidding. I wasn’t really dressed as a #Playboybunny. I was 5 years old & had no idea what that was. I was just dressed as a bunny on Halloween.”

However, many people are still quick to point out that bunnies don’t really look like that. Well, at that age you’re going for authenticity, right?

At the beginning of a relationship everything usually seems perfect, but when the fairy dust fades away, is your man still all he seemed? If he is, great, but if not… maybe it’s time to reconsider.

Here are some alarm bells to look out for in your hunt for Prince Charming!

1. He doesn’t make time for you
Time apart is important in a relationship, we agree, but couples still need to be there for each other. If your man is more focused on nights out with his pals than on fitting you into his schedule, maybe he’s not The One.

2. He tries to change you
This is a big no-no, but it’s often an issue that’s not spotted until it’s too late – we’re so smitten that we’d do anything to keep our other half happy. If your partner isn’t happy with your friends, or your body, or your too-loud voice, that’s his problem, not yours. We all want to be the best we can be for our loved ones, but that shouldn’t mean changing who we are.

3. You don’t trust him
Trust and honesty are the foundation on which every relationship should be built on. If you don’t trust your man or can’t rely on him, that’s a big sign that something is wrong. Trust isn’t just about staying faithful either. If you’re expecting to be stood up every time you make plans together, or you feel he’s keeping something from you, it might be time to take a step back.

4. He’s not the one you turn to
We all need a shoulder to cry on every now and then, or someone to vent to after a bad day at work. If you’d much rather call a friend than have your other half see you all teary-eyed, then maybe you’re not fully comfortable around him. You should be able to share everything with your loved one – not just your successes but your failures too.

5. He’s overly jealous
A little bit of jealousy is sweet, and it can be a nice ego booster too, we’re not gonna lie! But if you’re constantly being bombarded with questions, or if he’s suspicious every time you speak to another guy, that’s not good. It not only says he’s insecure but that he doesn’t trust you – neither of which are going to work in the long-term.

6. He’s cheap
Let’s get things straight – being cheap is very different to having no money. We’d much rather our guy was broke but made thoughtful gestures from time to time, than to be with someone who was rolling in it but never bought us so much as a cinema ticket. Generosity is such a lovely attribute to have – so avoid men who don’t even know the meaning of the word.

Jimmy Kimmel has put together a brilliant compilation of every single newsreader who used the term “The Situation is in a situation” – as you might guess, it’s a lot.

When Jersey Shore's Mike Sorrentino "The Situation" found himself in some tax trouble newsreaders couldn't believe their luck.

But the best bit has to be the end of the video where things just spiral out of control all together.
