Style twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have opened their first retail store – and it has its own swimming pool!

The new boutique, for their fashion label The Row, opened in LA earlier this week.

The sisters have placed a leather basket of plush towels beside it for anyone who fancies a dip mid-shopping!

Even the newly-engaged Mary-Kate has thought about getting in on the action.

“It’s really tempting,” she said.

The store has been converted from a hair salon that the sisters had both went to since they were children.

It’s divided into three areas they have called ‘galleries’, which have been laid out to look like a home – with a dining room, library, and even a living room!

While The Row retails in 188 stores across 37 countries, the LA boutique is the first stand alone store for the label.

A range of the sisters’ favourite Manolo Blahnik styles are also for sale in the boutique.

Joey Essex has just been signed with Select Model Management – and his portfolio photos are quite the transformation!

The reality TV star has shed his love of bright colours and short shorts for a higher fashion look.

While we aren’t so sure about the shell suit in the second look, there is no denying that Joey has got a serious talent for the camera.

Perhaps he’ll be trading in his role in TOWIE for the runway?

Dating can be a very awkward experience, especially in the early stages when you know nothing about each other and try to present the best possible portrait of yourself. You try and hide your embarrassing secrets and are both trying to figure out if you really like one another enough to pursue the relationship any further. Maybe some of these awkward moments ring a bell?

1. The first time you go to hold their hand.
This can be a difficult moment to judge. When is the “appropriate time” to hold their hand. You’re wondering if they’re thinking the same thing but struggle to get a good read of the situation.

rejected-o2. Getting food in your teeth
Getting home from your date, you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and notice an enormous piece of spinach hanging between your two front teeth! How long has it been there? Did they notice? WHY didn’t they say anything?!

Capture3. How to pay the bill?
Is he going to pay the bill or maybe you should offer? Or maybe you should go halves? Oh, we just don’t know.

What if they think you’re exclusive?

giphy5. Ordering the chicken wings
There is officially no way to do this gracefully.

giphy6. When it’s time to have “the talk!”
Oh no, you’re so not ready for this!

giphy7. You have to use the bathroom.
It’s inevitable.

giphy8. Seeing each other naked
Seeing each other in the nip for the first time can be awkward, especially if one, or both of you, are self-conscious about parts of their bodies. Just know that if one of you is self-conscious, then the other is probably as well.

jjj1. Do you go for the hug or the kiss?
The age-old dilemma of how to say goodbye to your date – do you go for the ass-out friendly hug, a cute peck on the cheek or go ultra-attacking and lean in for the kiss on the lips? Pay attention to the signals that the other is giving off because they will be thinking about the same problem as you are. Don’t over-analyse it. Find the middle ground on your first date and then take it from there next time around. Save yourself the embarrassment!

Former Victoria’s Secret model, Miranda Kerr has been in Australia for the last week promoting her new tea cup collection for Royal Albert Australia.

It had been said previously by Miranda’s family that they were very hurt that they had not seen her, nor her three year-old son, Flynn, in over a year.

Her mother, brother and grandmother even went on a TV show and publicly appealed to Miranda to contact them and to bring Flynn to Australia.

However, the young mother has now shut down the rumours by posting many photos of her family on her Instagram account recently, including one of her and her grandmother, captioned: “Tea for two with my nan.”

We’re glad to see that Miranda and her family have now worked everything out, as they had always seemed so close-knit.

19 year-old Love/Hate actor, Leroy Harris, was shot in Dublin city centre last night.

The teenager was shot in the leg and brought to hospital overnight where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

It is thought that the incident was a case of mistaken identity.

Leroy is best known for his role in  RTÉ’s hit drama, Love/Hate as the character who shot a cat.

There was much concern over the welfare of the cat who was later brought on to The Late Late Show.

If you’re constantly finding yourself behind on a deadline and late for mates – you’re probably a procrastinator.

And you’re not alone!

A recent study has shown that the percentage of chronic procrastinators has grown from about 5 per cent in the 1970’s to around 20 per cent today.

So what’s going on?

Part of the reason has to do with technology. There’s so much to do online, that putting off until tomorrow (and the day after) what we could do today is almost natural. Now play that hilarious ‘sneezing panda’ viral again!

A recent study showed that 60 per cent of respondents who checked an email or a social media ping in the middle of work – actually forgot what they were thinking about.

Sound familiar?!

Email and social media took away an hour of productivity for about 36 per cent of survey takers, and 16 per cent lost more than an hour.

But there may be more to it than that. A new study on twins published in Psychological Science has found there may be a genetic link!

The siblings in the study tended to have similar levels of procrastination.

The study also claimed that people who are impulsive tend to also be procrastinators, and vice-versa.

We don’t think your boss is going to swallow any of these excuse though, so log off Facebook and get back to work!

Today is National Time to Talk Day in Ireland.

The Green Ribbon Campaign has set aside today to promote open discussion about mental health and mental health issues.

Many young people today suffer with mental health problems, but they don’t have to suffer alone. Today aims to break the silence that surrounds mental health and mental health issues.

National Time to Talk Day was launched yesterday by former Dublin Rose and broadcaster with 2FM and TG4, Siobhéal Nic Eochaidh, who has experience with mental health problems: “Talking was so important to me when I went through a tough time. It is important that people realise that you don’t have to be an expert to start talking about mental health. All you have to do is let someone know you are there for them and simply listen.”

Workplaces, schools, colleges and homes across Ireland  are being encouraged to start talking about mental health as part of Time to Talk Day.

Here are some tips on how you can start a positive conversation with your friend or parent on mental health:

  1. Ask how you can help – everyone’s experience is different
  2. Just listen – it’s ok not to say anything or not to have the answers
  3. Avoid clichés – “Cheer up”, “Pull yourself together” and “I’m sure it will pass” will not help the conversation
  4. Show support – check in, text, ask how they are doing. Tell the person you are there for them and mean it.

The Green Ribbon Campaign is using the month of May to hold hundreds of local and national events to raise awareness about mental health and to get people talking about it.

Director of See Change, John Saunders, welcomed these campaigns, saying: “It is inspiring to see more than 50 ambassadors coming forward to openly talk about their own experiences of mental health problems as part of the Green Ribbon Campaign. Anyone of us can go through a tough time but the silence around mental health stops people seeking help and can make the experience of being unwell even harder.”

To join in on the Time to Talk Day on Twitter, simply use the hashtag: #TimetoTalk.
