'One taught me love, one taught me patience, one taught me pain'

The now iconic lyrics of Ariana Grande's new HELLA SPICY self-love song that has shaken the globe.

The tune features lines about her last four serious ex-boyfriends: Ricky Alvarez, Mac Miller, Big Sean and of course, Pete Davidson.

TBH we all expected her to shrow some (lamp) shade all around, especially seeing as Pete Davidson recently made a far-too-soon joke about their engagement, but Ari took the highest road of all, and said 'Thank you, next' to immaturity.

She's a far bigger person than we are, morally, that's for sure.

We've taken the liberty to dig up the most hilarious 'Thank You, next' memes on the net, and boy have we hit the jackpot of comedy. Buckle up, lads.

1. Shrek is love, Shrek is life. Apparently Ariana Grande fans concur with this statement? Who knew.

2. The twist on the most famous line from Notting Hill, and possibly one of the greatest Hugh Grant rom-com quotes, was tweeted by Ari herself. Though who would shrug off Julia Roberts?

3. Sam Carmichael, Harry Bright and Bill Austin teaching us love, patience and pain… Mamma Mia just had to be included on this list didn't it?

4. The sequel has inspired some of the greatest of all time (GOAT) memes, and it wasn't left out in this occasion either:

 5. Detective Hopper from Stranger Things (DK Harbour) absolutely annihilated the world's fandom feels with a single Instagram post=

NOT. ABLE.

6. This one any gal can relate to:

Pretty much just constant pain though… let's not lie to ourselves.

7. What romantic triple threat could skip the Gilmore Girls? Those boys had our hearts, Jess was always our personal fave but WE LOVED THEM ALL. Who are we kidding?

8. Some gas folks out there decided to create a pun on Ariana's 'ex' and transform it somehow into an X-Men reference…

9. Milk politics was then brought into the equation (yep, really), where the eternal battle between dairy milk, oat milk and almond milk rages on=

10. Let us never forget the three brothers who raised us through the Disney years=

11. Last, but by all means not least, the Harry Potter edition featuring Draco Malfoy, Ron Weasley and Harry=

Those boys had us feeling all kinds of emotions, much like Ari's entire new album, Sweetener.

In light of everything Queen Grande been through over the last few years, Ariana makes sure to confirm to her fans that the most important relationship she has is with herself.

She's dead right, we say. As Ru Paul affirms: "If you can't love yourself, how the hell are you gonna love anyone else?"

God is a woman, but these memes need their own religion.

It's nearly impossible to imagine one of the best shows of the last few years killing off two of its beloved main characters, but the Duffer Brothers are no ordinary show-runners.

They have recently revealed that during their initial planning process, they decided that Steve and Eleven would be killed off during season one.

NOT BABYSITTER STEVE. Please, we beg. Or Eleven, she's our new badass feminist hero, if only we were that cool at 14.

The hit Netflix series just wouldn't be the same without it's leading protagonist Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the lovable babysitter Steve Harrington (Joe Keery).

Over the course of two (soon to be three!) seasons, these characters have become both deeply integral to the show while also becoming massive fan favourites – which begs the question, why would they have ever been killed off in the first place?

In a brand new behind-the-scenes companion book Stranger Things: Worlds Turned Upside Down, Matt and Ross Duffer have let slip that both Eleven and Steve weren't originally meant to survive, because Eleven was allegedly going to sacrifice herself to save the others.

"Eleven was going to sacrifice herself to save the day. That was always the end game." The proposed deaths would have been a huge transformation to the storylines of the show's future.

It soon became crystal clear to the Duffers that Stranger Things would return for season two, which changed everything.

"We needed to leave it more up in the air, because deep down we knew the show just wouldn’t really work without Eleven. And at that point, we knew how special Millie Bobby Brown was. If there was going to be more Stranger Things, Eleven had to come back."

Millie Bobby Brown has emerged from the show as one of the most prominent talents of generation, and has showed maturity far beyond her age. She even shaved her head for her audition for the role of Eleven to show her commitment to the role. A true Kween.

Steve Harrington was kept alive by the Duffer brothers mostly because the fans absolutely adored him; his character arc from Nancy's obnoxious boyfriend to lovable and selfless babysitter to the pack of alien-fighting kids gripped the audience.

It was thanks to actor Joe Keery's portrayal of local Hawkins heartthrob that also contributed to the script change: "This Steve character, he was just supposed to be this giant douchebag," Ross revealed.

The Duffers also revealed that Bob Newby (Sean Astin) was always intended to die, but he originally was planned be killed off a lot earlier in the series. “Sean Astin proved so likeable that Bob’s death got pushed from episode four to episode eight because we kept wanting to keep him alive,” he explained.

“It was important to us and also to Sean to give him a bit of a hero’s death. We wanted him to accomplish something meaningful."

Judging by the trailer for season three, Eleven and Steve will be more essential to the show than ever before.

The creators have claimed that the newest season is based centrally in Hawkins mall, and takes it's primary inspiration from The Thing:

"While it's our most fun season, it also turns out to be our grossest season," Ross Duffer teases. "We're inspired by John Carpenter's The Thing. We're inspired by Cronenberg.

"We have a little bit of a George Romero vibe in there as well. There are horror movies and horror masters that we haven't really paid tribute to as much in previous seasons that we are definitely going to get into this season."

Season three of the fan favourite show is premiering in summer 2019 on Netflix. We're counting down the days, people.

Lili Reinhart is so DONE with online bullies right now.

She has always been vocal about the huge amount of attention that has come her way since she joined the Riverdale cast, and not all of it is positive.

Some of her fans seem to have trouble realising that both Lili and her co-star and real-life boyfriend Cole Sprouse, who plays Jughead Jones, are not actually their characters.

Since Shannon Purser shared an on-screen kiss with Jughead, all of the #Bughead army have been sending MASSIVE amounts of hate poor Shannon's way.

Shannon Purser has never been one to shy away from defending herself, like the true queen she is, and LIli Reinhart has her back.

The former Stranger Things star plays the character of Ethel on the hit Netflix show Riverdale, Wednesday's episode had fans up in arms about a plot-line that was totally out of the actress' hands.

Ethel told Jughead that he had to kiss her in order to get the “scripture” for G&G, so Jughead gave her a quick smooch and they both moved on. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Nope.

Twitter trolls proceeded to attack Shannon, calling her "fat" and "ugly" simply because her FICTIONAL character kissed Jughead. *Sighs*

The Sierra Burgess is a Loser actress allegedly posted a Spongebob meme accompanying the phrase: "All the stans who finally feel comfortable calling me fat/ugly now that Ethel has interfered with their ship.”

She then went on to add, "I’m not stressed about it, trust me. I just wonder what these people will think in like 10 yrs when they remember their twitter and realize they insulted and attacked real human beings for their character on a tv show…"

The Riverdale fanbase is passionate, to say the least, especially regarding relationships. At the end of the day, the show is fictional.

While Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse date IRL, what happens to their characters onscreen is totally unrelated, but some viewers are still angry AF.

Here's a lil video that the Riverdale cast made to teach 'Safe Shipping'. Watching characters fall in love and desperately wanting them to get together can be a draining process, but the actors themselves are here to teach you.. enjoy gals.

Netflix are introducing a cool new feature to user profiles and we are rather excited about it.

Their profile icons are getting a major makeover in honour of a very special anniversary.

In August 2013, Netflix launched profiles. Netflix became uniquely yours, personalised to you and your taste. You no longer had to see your roommate’s movie suggestions in your Top Picks or your little sister’s cartoons in your Continue Watching. Your profile features the best suggestions based on what you watch.

The profile icons you’ve used for the last five years are getting a fun makeover. They’re also introducing a bunch of new icons — including some of the most beloved characters from Netflix shows and movies. Get excited, things are about to get a lot more personal.

Cathy Conk, Director, Product Innovation said “We know the series and movies on Netflix are more than just things you watch to pass the time. The stories — and the characters in them —are also your heroes, frenemies, soulmates and everything in between. We’re thrilled to give you a way to show your fandom and make your connection with Netflix more unique.”

“Profiles are key to creating a highly personalized Netflix experience. By watching on your own profile, we can showcase suggestions for TV shows and movies we’re sure you won’t want to miss,” she added.

“We’re always working to make it easier for our members to connect with stories they’ll love and creating your profile is the first step. If you don’t have one yet, we highly suggest you make one — and personalize it with an icon like Luke Cage, Crazy Eyes, or another one of your favourite characters.”

The new profile icons will be rolling out on the website, mobile, and TV devices over the next few weeks.

The hotly anticipated third instalment of smash Netflix phenomenon Stranger Things may still be a way off but fans finally got a little nugget of what the next season has in store.

Netflix released the short clip, titled, ''Ahoy! Something is coming… to Hawkins, Indiana!'' yesterday to mass excitement.

It showed a brand new mall, Starcourt Mall, that's coming to Hawkins in the summer of 1985.

Big permed hair, cycling shorts and neon legwarmers followed as the mall came to life with 80's shoppers.

Not to mention the appearance of fan favourite Steve Harrington (Joe Kerry) clad in a sailor outfit at what we can assume is his summer job in Scoops Ahoy! ice cream parlour.

Btw, whoever okayed putting a hat on top of The Hair – which is almost a character in it's own right – has some serious answering to do.

Joining him was newbie Robin (Maya Thurman-Hawke), who looked as equally unenthusiastic about working there as our Steve.

So what does it all mean?

Well, fans are literally combing through each scene, looking for any clues that creators The Duffer Brothers may have slipped in.

One fan wrote, ''you don't know how much ive seen this clip. i NeEd mOrE sTrAnGeR tHiNgS 3!!!!''

Most of the crazy fan theories and assumptions are that something is not quite right with Starcourt Mall – why make a clip solely dedicated to it if wasn't linked in some way linked to the Upside Down?

One comment said, ''I bet there is gonna be some epic showdown inside the mall with eleven and all the kids trying to defeat a monster'' while another agreed that the mall hold's definite importance in the plot.

''Brenners gonna waltz Back into Hawkins to find a shopping mall has been built over his lab. Eleven and mike go on a date to the mall and bump into Brenner.''

Helluva day….

A post shared by Shawn Levy (@slevydirect) on

One fan suggested that the mall was built on the grounds of Hawkin's lab.

Hmmm, not sure about that one but I suppose we'll just have to keep on guessing for now!

The show has another reason to celebrate as it has just landed a whopping and well-deserved 12 Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama Series, and nods for David Harbour (Hopper) and Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven ) in their respective roles.

Shame that the amazing Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) missed out on a nom as he was insanely brilliant in S2.

Thankfully, a few more set secrets were spilled recently thanks to executive producer Shawn Levy's interview with GQ.

He explained that four of the eight episodes have now been filmed, but the Duffers are still writing the second half of the season while they edit the first half.

“We still are scrambling to find time for the [Duffer] brothers to write the second half of the season while we're making the first half. Like every creative type the brothers have their process, and no matter how resolved they are to be more efficient with their time or not, some things don't change.”

He also promised a turn in the plot “toward darker and bigger action-packed fare than we’ve ever attempted.”

Stranger Things 3 began filming in April in Atlanta but it looks like we'll have to sit tight til sometime in 2019 to see what the gang get up to next.

To scratch that ST itch, catch Summer of 84 next month and hold tight for that S3 trailer!

Summer of 84 is hitting cinemas next month and it is the perfect summer scary movie.

Set (obviously) in the summer of 1984, the plot centres on a 15-year-old neighbourhood conspiracy theorist Davey, who starts to think that his police officer neighbour might be the serial killer that is being splashed across the local news.

Davey and his gang of friends quickly band together to form their own murder investigation squad, and they soon begin to seriously suspect that the cop, Officer Mackey, is the killer.

There are obvious comparisons to Stranger Things. Both are set in 1980's America suburbia with a group of teenagers riding around on bikes and chasing unknown dangers.

However, instead of the supernatural, the dangerous force here is one that's grounded in reality – a serial killer.

Summer of 84 is more of a slasher than anything – think John Carpenter's Halloween's in the 1970's, Stephen King's Carrie or 1990's Scream

It seems that the horror genre is really having a moment.

Box office records were being broken left, right and centre in 2017 when it came to any kind of horror or thriller.

Jordan Peele's Get Out arrived early in the year, to a rapturous reception and a stunning $175 million at the box office.

The It remake was a huge surprise, nabbing the highest grossing horror record of all time at the US office, and earning $478 million worldwide. It is also the largest ever opening for a horror movie and the largest September opening of all time.

These figures speak for themselves and coupled with what is now the pop culture phenomenon Stranger Things, it's quite clear: scaring yourself in the cinema is officially in.

So, for those of you who love the whole nostalgic kids-banding-together-against-evil like in It or The Goonies, then you're in for a treat with this latest cinematic offering.

Watch the trailer below for the first look at Summer of 84.

Could one of Hollywood’s biggest actors be joining the cast of Stranger Things? Millie Bobby Brown has shared that she wants Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio to star in the popular Netflix series.

The actress, who plays lead character Eleven, has already planned out a character for the Titanic star.

She told Press Association, “Leonardo DiCaprio. Leonardo is Eleven’s long-lost brother. I have already made a storyline."

It’s safe to say fans of the drama series would be thrilled to see The Revenant actor join the drama series, especially after the disappointing news that season three will feature fewer episodes.

Season two featured nine gripping and thrilling episodes, however, season three will only feature eight episodes, director Shawn Levy confirmed.

Luckily, all is not lost, the director commented on the potential of future seasons and it looks like we’ll be watching the sci-fi horror series for quite some time.

“Season Four is definitely happening. There’s very much the possibility of a season beyond that one,” he shared.

We have had a Stranger Things shaped hole in our hearts ever since we finished binge-watching season two last October.

We miss Eleven, Will, Hopper and the hero of season two- Steve- a lot. However, fans were thrilled to hear that the cast has finally started filming the third instalment of the popular Netflix series.

Unfortunately, the director of Stranger Things shared a disappointing update with fans. Speaking to Collider,  series producer and director Shawn Levy revealed that the upcoming season won’t be as long as the previous two.

Season two featured nine gripping and thrilling episodes, however, season three will only feature eighth, Shawn Levy confirmed.

Their bond will be stronger than ever in series three with Shawn Levy telling Glamour, “I want to see them connect more and be more familiar with each other- like they’re brothers.”

It has been rumoured that series three will air in 2019. We cannot wait to return to Hawkins!

For someone so much younger than us, we sure do look up to Millie Bobby Brown.

The 14-year-old impressed us all when she first appeared onscreen as the enigmatic Eleven in Stranger Things. The English actress possesses a quiet intensity and talent that would impress at any age.

She's gone on to win a Screen Actors Guild Award and is soon making her feature film debut in Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Now, the accomplished teenager has added another accolade: the youngest ever person to be named on Time's list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

Millie joins the likes of #MeToo founder Tarana Burke, Nicole Kidman, Cardi B, Taoiseach Leo Varadker, John Krasinski, and Meghan Markle, who are also featured on the Time 100 list for 2018.

Her profile was written by another beloved TV actor, Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame. The dad-of-one said he 'superfanned' the 14-year-old, so he and his wife met up with her to get ice cream.

Aaron soon realised getting a casual cone with Millie may have been a belittling move:

"The moment we started speaking, I realised we were in the wrong setting. I had thought, Oh, she’s 12, let’s get ice cream. No.

"She may have been 12 in years, but her spirit and mind were timeless. A wise woman was speaking from her cherubic face."

He continued,"It was like speaking to a future mentor with a perspective and groundedness that I could only have dreamed of at that age. Or at any age, if I’m being honest.

"Maybe that’s why she’s such an extraordinary actor. She somehow understands the human experience as if she has lived it for a thousand years. I’m proud to know her. To call her a friend. To call her my adopted daughter."

We are so thrilled for Millie; with her poise and talent, she deserves to make history.

Warning: Stranger Things 2 spoilers ahead!

At the very end of the new season of Stranger Things, new girl Max (Sadie Sink) shares a kiss with Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) at the school’s Snow Ball dance.

However, it turns out that Sadie was not enthused about the unscripted kiss.

In an interview recently, it was revealed that as a joke, one of the show’s creators, Ross Duffer, had asked Sadie if she was ready for the kiss with Caleb.

A post shared by Sadie Sink (@sadiesink_) on

The 15-year-old actress said she was stressed out all day about the impending kiss as it had not been in the script.

33-year-old Ross said to Sadie in the interview: 'You reacted so strongly to this, I was just joking … you were just so freaked out that I was like, well I gotta make her do it now.'

The Stranger Things creator called the kiss Sadie’s ‘fault’ because if it were not for her intense reaction, he wouldn't have insisted on the kiss happening.

16-year-old Caleb also shared that it was his first kiss.

A post shared by Sadie Sink (@sadiesink_) on

Fans took to Twitter, incensed at the director’s desire to pressure Sadie into doing something that clearly made her uncomfortable.

'I’m all for Stranger Things but the Duffer Brothers pushing a child actor to do an unscripted kiss has left me a little shook,' one fan tweeted.

Actress and producer Dani Kind sympathised with the young actress, saying, “This happens on sets all the time. Being presented with a ‘script change’.

'Call it what you will, it’s not OK. Enough.'
