It's gotten rave reviews and looks set to be a triumphant return for the beloved Mary Poppins.

And now a behind the scenes clip shows the lengths Emily Blunt went to to avoid special effects being used in one of the scenes.

The scene is question is the one with the bathtub where Emily drops toys into it while singing Imagine That.

The footage shows Emily as she sits on the edge of the bathtub, in a scene that shows her being sucked down into the tub – which is precisely what happened.

Cafe Fantasia released the clip on Twitter, showing the 35-year-old getting pulled down into the bath tubs filled with bubbles and sliding down a chute backwards to the safety of crew under the set.

How unbelievable is that?

Emily opened up about the scene in a Q&A when she said, ''Everyone involved was very insistent that as much as possible we would build practical sets that we could very much interact with.''

She continued, ''And so what they did with the bath, which the kids thought was the best thing ever, was that they actually carved a hole in the bottom of the bath and had a slide which went under the stage.''

People were in awe of how the scene was shot and took to social media to express this.

One said, ''Oh wow! This film just keeps getting better and better! Practical effects over CGI everyday.''

While another wrote, ''It's amazing just HOW much they did in camera, isn't it.''

It's another reason – as if we needed one anyway – to go and see it.

Powering through a hangover can be tough, especially after night of excess where alcohols were mixed, tables were danced on and regrettable texts were sent.

Here's a few hangover cures that work for us, because no one deserves to feel this amount of pain just for having fun:

10. Powerade

A post shared by powerade (@powerade) on

Drinking is so often followed by puking, and if this is the case, replacing lost electrolytes and minerals will help you on the road to recovery.

Drinking Powerade can help replace the lost electrolytes, plus it's a flat drink rather than fizzy so it's easier on a sick tummy.

Lucozade works well too if you can stomach the bubbles

9. Vanilla ice cream

Much like a glass of milk, vanilla ice cream can coat and calm an angry, irritated stomach that was until very recently full of Jägerbombs.

So if your tummy is on fire, try a cooling coat of plain vanilla ice cream or fro-yo.

8. Dioralyte

A post shared by Gavin Little (@echolabaudio) on

While Dioralyte may reside in the very un-glamorous world of diarrhoea cures, the rehydration sachets are a quick way to get better if you can't face drinking litres and litres of uisce.

The sachets contain rehydration salts, consisting of glucose and electrolytes like sodium chloride, potassium chloride and disodium hydrogen citrate, which work to replace body fluids lost after a heavy night on the town.

7. Banana

A post shared by Laura (@lauramaryluu) on

Eating a banana can help shorten the length of time you're going to spend being revoltingly hungover.

The more dehydrated you get, the more potassium you lose, which makes you feel extra tired and generally icky.

If you manage to eat the banana before you go to sleep for the night, it will serve you well.

6. Feminax

Feminax is obviously a powerful cure for period pain, but the painkiller is also excellent for curing throbbing hangover headaches.

Also, if your muscles are aching from a night on the tiles, these tablets can help.

5. Two Advil

A post shared by Steve (@therolexway) on

If the headache is what's killing you, then two Advil every few hours washed down with a pint of water is the only way to go.

Simple but efficient.

4. Spice bag

A post shared by UNA HEALY (@unahealy) on

If you are well enough for a nice starchy meal, a spice bag is one of the preferred ways to go.

Definitely not recommended for those with a sick stomach due to the spice, but this high calorie, high carb meal will give you the energy to go about your day

3. Lukewarm shower

A post shared by Sean Toomey (@sean_toomey) on

When the hangover is so bad that you're welcoming death with a smile, sitting in the shower and contemplating your life choices for hours is the only way to go.

It's also handy if you simply cant stop puking, because what difference does it make when you're already in the shower? You can just puke freely and let the shower wash away the evidence of last night.

Also, opting for lukewarm rather than hot water can help wake you up from a zombie-like state.

2. Tea, tea, tea

A post shared by Shiyana (@oxandotter) on

Tea literally cures everything, and the caffeine in a good cuppa can help perk you up, without hurting your stomach like coffee could.

The milk in tea can also help settle your stomach, and if you take sugar, you can elevate your energy levels.

1. Hot chicken roll and a can of Coke

A post shared by Laura (@scaoil_amach_e) on

The crème de la crème of cures, the classic chicken roll and can of Coke combo will never get old.

The addition of a packet of cheese and onion crisps to this stellar line-up is never a bad idea either.

Amsterdam is famous for a few tourist essentials – visiting a coffee shop, strolling though the red light district and cycling through the city.

However, there are few other experiences that are not to be missed in the architecturally stunning and liberating city:

5. Soak up some culture at the Moco Museum

There are plenty of immersive cultural experiences to be had in the Dam, from visiting Anne Frank's annex to swanning around the Van Gogh museum being impressed by the post-impressionism.

The Moco Museum is another of Amsterdam's fine art houses, focusing on modern art rather than classic.

Currently, the museum is hosting a vast range of work by Banksy, a crowd pleaser for a group visiting the city comprised of art enthusiasts and novices.

4. Swing from the rooftops at the A'Dam Lookout

Ideal for the thrill seekers, Amsterdam is home to Europe's highest swing.

The swing is located on the observation deck of the A'dam Lookout tower, with an unbeatable panoramic view of the city.

Make sure you tie your shoelaces tight and zip up your pockets, the swing really does propel you over the edge of the rooftop.

3. G's Brunch Boat for cocktails and eggs benny

Can't stop, won't stop when it comes to brunch? Never fear.

A trip abroad doesn't have to interfere with your brunch schedule.

G's Brunch Boat is an epic way to see the canals of Amsterdam, while enjoying a hearty brunch, a few cocktails, and some seriously eclectic decor (think Drake-emblazoned menus and Roy Lichtenstein table tops)

2.  Learn some Red Light Secrets at The Museum of Prostitution

Red Light Secrets offers a unique experience for tourists – feeling what it's like to be a prostitute in the red light district.

Perch yourself on a stool in from of the museums red bulb-lined window and experience what it's like to be viewed by the public while discovering the history of prostitution throughout the world and in Amsterdam.

While it is a tourist attraction, if you go early in the day you should beat the queue.

If you're into the macabre, the museum will definitely be of interest.

As well as sharing funny, intimate stories of the district's ladies of the night, the museum also remembers the women who are murdered during their working hours.

It also describes stories of trafficking and abuse from pimps – not for the faint of heart.

Huge congratulations are in order for actor Tom Hardy and his wife Charlotte Riley. The acting duo have welcomed their second child together.

It has been confirmed by The Sun that the couple, who met on the set of Wuthering Heights, welcomed a baby boy last month.

Both Tom and Charlotte are exceptionally private about their personal lives and have only told close friends and their families about their new bundle of joy.

A friend told The Sun that they are overjoyed to welcome another child into their family.

A source told the publication: “The couple are over the moon with the new addition to the family. Friends are already saying that the baby boy looks exactly like Tom.”

“They’ve been laying low over the festive period so they can get used to having a busier household and adjusting to the needs of a newborn,” they explained.

The doting parents decided to call their baby boy after quite the famous movie character, who happens to be one of Tom’s all time favourites.

The source revealed they called their son Forrest after Forrest Gump.

“They love the name Forrest as it’s earthy and strong. Tom has always found the movie Forrest Gump very inspiring and enjoyable and thinks it fits,” they shared.

Tom and Charlotte are also parents to a three-year-old daughter, but they have never revealed her name to the public.

The Peaky Blinders star also shares ten-year-old son Louis with his former partner and fellow actor Rachael Speed.
