Britney Spears

Jamie-Lynn spears is rumoured to be in talks to reprise her role in the Nickelodeon hit show Zoey 101, which was cancelled back in 2008.

The 28-year-old actress will be making her return to acting in Netflix's Sweet Magnolias, but whispers are circulating that she's hoping to make her way back to the hit teen show.

TMZ allege that Spears, who is the younger sister of pop icon Britney, has been talking to TV executives about a potential comeback. The publication say that it's not a "done deal" yet, however.

It's also apparent that if Jamie-Lynn was going to take on the role of Zoey again, there would be some "major changes".

The iconic character reportedly would be "Zoey with an edge" (lol) and we're fascinated to hear more. The show was cancelled after the Nickelodeon star announced that she was pregnant with her first baby.

Spears welcomed her now 11-year-old daughter Maddie into the world with then-partner Casey Aldridge, but Jamie-Lynn still insists that her pregnancy wasn't the reason for the show's cancellation.

The star also shares one-year-old Ivey Joan with her husband Jamie Watson. The mum-of-two will be making waves on Netflix as Noreen Fitzgibbons on Sweet Magnolias.

Spears hasn't acted since her role on ABC sitcom Miss Guided in 2008. "Mama’s going back to work y’all," Jamie wrote on Twitter.

"Can’t wait for y’all to meet Noreen. I fell in love with this story, and 'm so excited I get to be a part of telling it #SweetMagnolias." The new series is based on the book series by Sherryl Woods.

Netflix announced that; "Spears will play Noreen Fitzgibbons, a young woman who is determined to build a new life for herself after a series of bad choices."

Will she become Zoey as a mum-of-two on the reboot, or will her 11-year-old daughter play Zoey and Spears will play her mum? We have so many questions.

One thing's for sure; She'd better still wear that key around her neck as jewellery. It was the accessory of the noughties thanks to her…

Pop icon Britney Spears has won a major legal victory in order to keep her former manager, Sam Lufti, away from her.

The news comes amid fears that he is behind a campaign of continuous harassment and even death threats against her family.

Yesterday, an LA judge granted Spears a temporary restraining order against Lutfi, meaning he is not allowed to contact the singer or her family.

Insiders from Page Six believe that Spears and her family are convinced Lufti is behind the recent #FreeBritney fan uproar. Her followers dislike the conservatorship which her father, Jamie, has over the singer.

“If you connect the dots, it all leads to Sam being all over this,” a source told the publication. “People have been sending death threats, and they suspect it’s the same folks behind #FreeBritney.”

Lutfi has allegedly been harassing those in Britney's inner circle since she checked out of a mental health facility two weeks ago. Apparently, he contacted Spears' mother Lynne to challenge the conservatorship by offering money.

The documents also claim that Lutfi posted “disparaging and threatening comments” on social media, and requested that the public 'raise hell' to free the star. Spears went into the facility following the news of her father's illness.

An insider added, “Sam is trying to insinuate himself into Britney’s life again. Her family worries he could have a dangerous impact on her mental health.” Court filings suggest that he has been threatening to release private documents of Britneys from her past.

The family are convinced that the former manager drugged her back in 2007, around the time of her head-shaving meltdown.

In a 2008 book, Spears’ mom wrote, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, that Lutfi had been giving the singer Adderall in her food, which he strongly denied.

Lutfi's lawyer replied to the restraining order, saying; “We are disappointed in the results. We feel this is overly broad and violates Mr. Lutfi’s constitutional rights. We look forward to arguing the matter more fully at the hearing for a more permanent restraining order on May 28.”

Britney told her fans that she was taking some 'me-time' following Jamie's life-threatening illness, cancelling her Las Vegas show.

She checked into a mental health facility for a 30-day treatment in April, despite claims by fans that she was being held against her will. Protests ensued in Hollywood which demanded her release.

Britney took to Instagram and assured her followers that she was okay; "My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately so I just needed time to deal with it. Don’t worry, I’ll be back very soon."

Pop idol Britney Spears is clearing up rumours about her mental health and well-being on her social media, confirming: “All is well”.

37-year-old Toxic singer checked into a mental health facility earlier in April to cope with the stress of her father’s ongoing illness.

Rumours were swirling that there was more going on beneath the surface of Spears’ visit, but she shared a video on Instagram on April 23 to dispel the myth.

“Hi guys, just checking in with all of you who are concerned about me,” Britney said in the video, referring to her father Jamie, who she is very close with.

“My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately, so I just needed time to deal. But don’t worry, I’ll be back very soon,” she continued.

Her fans were deeply concerned about her treatment and suspected that her family had forced her to enter the facility.

Mental health has been known to play a big role in addiction as a whole. Brittany spears is a perfect example of this. She has finally understood that she cannot enter a drug rehab program without getting help with her mental health issues.

A group of protesters gathered outside City Hall on Monday in LA to demand her release from the facility after claims about her mental health went viral.

Britney’s caption disputes the “out of control” things which fans online have said, and even alluded to shocking death threats made to her family and team;

“I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me,” Britney wrote. “Don’t believe everything you read and hear.”

She wrote a detailed and emotional Instagram post about her dad’s health back in early January;

“A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalised and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time.”

Britney also spoke out against her former manager, Sam Lutfi, who she claimed wrote fake emails in her name to communicate with her team; “My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment,” she said.

“You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want!” Britney continued in the social media video.

“Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful.”

We wish her well and hope her father makes a speedy and full recovery. We need Brit back to her best.

Britney Spears has taken to Instagram to reassure fans that she is doing well. Fans were extremely concerned about the Toxic singer and believed she was being held in a mental health facility against her own will.

#FreeBritney continued to trend on Twitter where fans speculated about the singer’s condition and spread rumours about her family and team.

Britney explained that the rumours got out of control so she had to make a video to show fans that she is okay.

“I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear,” the Baby One More Time singer stressed.

“These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago… I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address,” she added.

Britney Spears is going through a bit of a tough time.

The 37-year-old has come out publicly and announced that she's taking some ''me time'' as her Dad is seriously ill.

She took to Instagram to post a snap that read, ''Fall in love with taking care of yourself, mind, body, spirit.''

And now her sister Jamie Lynn Spears has taken to Instagram to post an adorable throwback snap of her and Britney.

The picture shows Britney with Jamie Lynn Spears on a school bus on Jamie Lynn's first day of school.

She captioned, ''Yup, she rode the bus home with me after my first day of school, cuz she’s the fn best #WCW.''

Her fans flooded the comments with lovely messages of encouragement and love for Britney.

One said, ''Sending lots of love for Britney! She's a strong woman! We love her.''

While another wrote, ''I love you both. Always taking care of each other. Thank you for taking care of Britney.''

We're all rooting for you Britney and we can see that your family is behind you too.

Britney Spears is fresh from celebrating 20 years since Baby…One More Time! – something we still cannot believe.

And now the iconic popstar has opened up about wanting to add to her fam.

The 37-year-old singer has two sons from her marriage to Kevin Federline – 13-year-old Sean and 12-year-old Jayden.

Now she's loved-up with boyfriend Sam Asghari (who is SMOKIN' hot), having a baby is on the cards.

Lucky Britney.

It might have to do with Britney cancelling her Britney: Domination Las Vegas show after her dad Jamie suffered a colon rupture – maybe the scare looks like it might have made Britney think about how important family is.

According to Hollywoodlife. “Britney would really love to have more children, and she has expressed very much wanting to do that sooner rather than later.''

They continued, ''She’s so happy with boyfriend Sam and would love to have a baby with him. Her father’s health really made her take a step back and figure out what’s important.”

There might also be another reason why she would like another kid.

Reportedly Britney is, ''Taking some time to figure out what she wants out of life, and right now it seems like she just has no desire to perform and all her focus is on her family, including adding to her own. Britney absolutely loves her fans and performing, but she also loves being a mom and knows she’s getting older.''

If she decided to, we wish her all the best- she'll always be our fave pop star anyway.

Britney Spears to to Instagram today to celebrate a whopping 20 years of iconic Britney tunes.

Arguably the biggest female pop performer of the 00s, Britney dropped her first single, Baby One More Time, back in 1998 when she was but a wee fresh faced teen.

To celebrate the two decade milestone, Britney posted her album cover from the single to Insta with a caption giving thanks to her fans.

A post shared by Britney Spears (@britneyspears) on

'Can you believe that this album was released 20 years ago today??!!' she wrote.

'I can’t. It’s definitely been the journey of a lifetime, full of ups and downs, but I’m grateful for every single moment of it all.'

'Getting to know you all over the years has been such an incredible experience, and has made this all worth it.'

A post shared by Britney Spears (@britneyspears) on

'Thank you for your support from 20 years ago, all the way to today. I am blessed.'

Nah Britney, you blessed us with whopper tunes like Toxic, Stronger and Gimmie More.

Anyone who remembers the long lost days of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's tumultuous relationship will recall that they were literally WORSHIPPED as King and Queen of Pop.

Their break-up shook the entire world, especially following allegations of Britney cheating on Justin with her choreographer.

The drama was intense, but JT had another bomb to drop on us: the unbelievable break-up tune that is Cry Me A River.

Let's be honest, it gives everyone chills. The boy was HELLA angry, and it comes across in the song. He even put a Britney lookalike in the music video, which caused absolute mayhem as fans dissected the meaning behind every word.

In the video, JT breaks into the Brit look-alike’s house, has some raunchy fun with a hot brunette and films the whole thing.

He waits for her to get home, then when the pop princess emerges from the shower his sex video is playing on her TV screen.  So yeah, he was a tad bitter.

In his new book, Hindsight: & All the Things I Can't See in Front of Me, the singer, actor and former *NSYNC band member (never forget) wrote:

"I've been scorned. I've been pissed off. I wrote Cry Me a River in two hours. I didn't plan on writing it."

"The feelings I had were so strong that I had to write it, and I translated my feelings into a form where people could listen and, hopefully, relate to it," Timberlake continued. "People heard me and they understood it because we've all been there."

The song clearly held a lot of meaning for Timberlake, and he only needed a cool two hours to pen the track, which would become one of the biggest hits of the decade.

Some of the spicy lyrics include: "You don't have to say, what you did, I already know, I found out from him". Britney has long been considered the subject of the song, and it is heavily suggested that she was unfaithful during their relationship.

The song was released in November 2002, only months after their split, and earned him a Grammy for Best Pop Performance. THE DRAH-MAH.

Timberlake was furious after seeing Spears speak about him at one of her concerts:

"I was on a phone call that was not the most enjoyable phone call," Timberlake recalls on the show. "I walked into the studio and Timbaland (the producer) could tell I was visibly angry."

He certainly channelled his anger, that's for sure. Britney eventually responded the next year with her heartbreaking ballad Everytime.

The noughties romance drama was so real, but never fear, both singers have moved on and are happily in love with their respective partners.

Brit is dating hunky personal trainer Sam Asghari for almost two years and JT is married to Jessica Biel since 2012.

So it seems like it worked out?

Britney Spears rocked the 3 Arena last night with a medley of her greatest hits during the Dublin date on her Piece of Me tour.

Between tears of nostalgia as the crowd bopped to anthems like Stronger and Toxic, Britney herself requested a more personal contribution from the crowd.

The Princess of Pop asked that a member of the audience came up and danced with her – however the moves may not have been quite what the volunteer expected.

A guy was selected from the crowd, before being strapped to a St Andrews cross (common in the BDSM community, if you're down with that sort of thing, as the tune Freakshow blared out from the speakers.

Once his time on the cross was complete, he was placed on his hands and knees on stage, where a harness and leash was attached around his torso. Britney Spears herself then walked the young lad across the stage on his hands and knees.

An experience more relevant than this week's Papal visit tbh, the crowd understandably went wild.

After grinding on the guy, Britney declared to the audience that he 'smelt amazing' and that she wanted to keep him up there with her.

The young man, named Kurt or Kirk (indecipherable over the screaming of fans)  took a graceful bow before descending from the stage, now an icon in the eyes of the people.

Good man Kurt (Kirk).

Britney Spears is a 90s icon, and when the news broke that the Overprotected singer was taking her Vega residency international, the fact that there was a Dublin date on the list was major.

The date was set for August 20, and fans began anticipating the difficulties of securing tickets.

Tickets for the covetable gig went on sale this morning, and according to dismayed Twitter users, sold out in minutes..

Tickets for the 3 Arena concert were going for a reasonable €68.50..

However, they are now being sold on Ticketmaster's re-sale website, Seatwave, for a whopping price.

The resale site has prices for tickets listed of up to €1000 – each.

There are four tickets available for the 3Arena gig being sold on the site for €1000.00 each, coming toa grand total, including booking fee, of €4719.96.

The cheapest standing ticket on the resale site, priced at €175 in total, is still more than double the original cost of the tickets.

And, they're being snapped up by disappointed fans who could not access the Ticketmaster site the first time around.

A number of listed prices on the Seatwave website were connected to broken links as the tickets were 'no longer available' due to being purchased.

Fans are outraged by the massive cost of the re-sale tickets, and are calling for better regulation of ticket sales.

Ladies, listen up!

We're so lucky because Britney Spears is bringing her 'Britney: Piece of Me' exclusive limited tour to Ireland. The pop icon will be gracing us with her presence on August 20 this year.

The show has rocked the Las Vegas stage since December 2013, and we cannot WAIT for it to be in 3Arena. Fans and critics alike have raved about 'Britney: Piece of Me', and even celebs from Beyoncé to Steven Tyler have attended.

The singer's headlining residency in Vegas with 'Britney: Piece of Me' has generated over $140 million gross revenue and sold nearly 1 million tickets.

Back on stage tonight! See ya soon!!!!

Tickets go on sale Saturday, January 27 at 9am and can be found here.

Ever since the nineties, we have looked to Britney Spears for style inspiration (and a few faux pas, but we'll ignore them).

Anyway, the vast majority of the time, Britney can be seen wearing things we simply can't afford.

Rebel just for kicks!!!!!

The original Princess of pop music uploaded a video montage of herself, dancing around in a number of pink ensembles.

One of those gorge outfits was actually a satin body con number, from out beautiful friends at PrettyLittleThing.

The best part? It only costs €15, meaning that we can pretty much ALL dress like our teen idol.

If you fancy treating yourself to this gorgeous little number, click here.

It's available in lime green also, if pink isn't your scene.
