The Kardashian clan are not known for their penchant for natural beauty, and as we all know – Instagram is not real life. 

However, when Kim Kardashian uploaded a promo picture for her new KKW Beauty collection, followers were quick to point out that there seemed to be a bit more than a filter altering the reality TV star's appearance.

The pair uploaded the same picture, but there were some dramatic differences in Kim's version. 

The most obvious alteration is her eyes – which are seen as their natural deep brown in hairstylist Chris Appleton's image, but are almost hazel in Kim's edition.

However, Kim's face is altered in more whys than just her iris's. 

In her version, her breasts appear to be bigger and lifted to a higher point on her chest. Her jawline is sharpened and shortened, giving her a smaller face. Her lips are wider, her nose looks shorter and flatter, and the nostril size lessened.

Her cheekbones have been defined and, most notably her neck has been significantly thinned. 

CelebFace also alleges that Kim has previously photoshopped pictures of Chicago West.

Post Malone played to an enraptured crowd at Longitude this year, as festival goers sang along to every word of his set. 

Now, the American rapper is taking his album Beerbongs & Bentleys on  a European tour, and it all begins in Dublin.

He confirmed Pretty Little Liars alum Troain had a safe labour and both mum and baby are doing well: “Everyone is happy and healthy and loving every moment of this.”

“I could not be more excited to bring a baby girl into this world at this moment. We will raise her to be powerful, to always speak her mind and heart and to live without fear,” he gushed.

“It’s a brand new day and a brave new world and they are both beautiful.”

Troain also posted the same snap of her daughter’s tiny hand to her Instagram account and stressed the fact that they would raise a bright, strong young girl.

We’re sure Kylie’s sister Kim will agree, especially after she seriously struggled to name her youngest child.

We're powering through October and as we get closer to All Hallows Eve on the 31st, we want to soak up every bit of spooky atmosphere that we can this month. 

So we've done a little scout around and rounded up the best of the creepy events taking place across Ireland in the next few weeks.

Be it bobbing for apples, carving pumpkins or scaring the sh*t out of yourself in some haunted house, we've got the ideal Halloween treat for you, wherever you are in the country. 

1. Hellfire Club Walk, Dublin 

Starting it off in the capital, there are an insane amount of spooktacular events to choose from, but if you want something that you won't forget easily, we have this for you. 

Hellfire Club, anyone? Known as  "The The Most Terrifying Walking Tour Experience In Dublin'', this walk will take you into the depths of the Dublin Mountains. This fully guided walk begins every Thursday and Friday at 7pm from Lower Bridge Street Dublin. Think atmospheric. Think unique. Think quite f*cking terrifying.

2. Night Tours of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol, Co. Wicklow

Get ready for a fright at Wicklow’s Historic Gaol with a Paranormal Investigation from ParaResearchers Ireland. You'll feel like you're pretty much in Ghostbusters as you stalk the cells and corridors looking for ghostly beings – what's not to love?

On Saturday October 28th from 9pm to 2am, tickets €55.

3. Virginia Pumpkin Festival, Co. Cavan

Anyone reading his who doesn't have a soft spot for pumpkins, gtfo. Get stuck into the action at this festival where Halloween comes to life over a weekend filled with live music and street entertainment and a fireworks display at Lough Ramor lakeshore with live music and food.

4. Haunted Spooktacular Horror Farm at Grove Gardens, Co Meath.

Taking place near Kells, this strictly over-16's event caters to fans of indoor and outdoor attractions, with names such as Disturbia, Dungeon and Zombie Apocalypse. They're all offering a devilish mix of live action, special effects and claustrophobia.

Running from October 20th-21st and 27th-31st, from €25. 

5. Loftus Hall, Co. Wexford

Who doesn't love a haunted house? For those who love a bit of old-fashioned terror, a visit to Loftus Hall is a a must.

Known as the most haunted house in Ireland, it's situated on Hook Peninsula in County Wexford, this place is haunted by the devil and a young woman. trip. Visit if you're brave enough…you have been warned.

7. Farmaphobia, Co Meath

Held at Causey Farm, this Scream park has 5 amazing and diverse Haunt Experiences designed to terrify and push you to the limit. Try the popular and terrifying Scarettraction – frolic in the fields where no oen will hear your screams.  Tickets from 18 quid. 

8. Murder Mystery Halloween Night, Galway City 

What would October be without dressing up in 1940's clobber and pretending to have killed a butler? Yes, it's Murder Mystery Halloween Fun. Galway City is hosting a super glam and exclusive Hollywood Oscar-themed party. Dine in a fab medieval dining room as you try to figure out whodunnit. Fancy dress obvs, grab tix from 52 quid on Eventbrbrite. 

9. Belfast Halloween Monster Mash and Fireworks Display

This annual event takes place at the Titanic Slipways on Wednesday, October 31st. Prepare for wicked workshops, monster rides, scary street performers and live music as well as candies and hot food are all on offer on the day.

10. Lafcadio HearnJapanese Gardens in Tramore, Co Waterford.

The stunning candlelight Halloween Ghostly Night Performance at the Lafcadio HearnJapanese Gardens is unreal. You can sit back and enjoy readings and performances of some of the haunted tales from Lafcadio Hearn’s extensive collection of Japanese legends and ghost stories. From October 28th and 29th, tickets €2 – €5.

11. Cork Ghost Tour

Walking tours more your thing? This one takes in the Rebel city revealing its history in an interactive way. Plus why not enjoy a pint or two in quirky little pubs like Pat Buckley’s Bar and The Friary along the way?

Ah dating – no matter how you managed to secure that first date, you've probably heard the line, wanna go for a drink?

Though it may seem harmless, this is what you need to consider before agreeing.

According to a new study by Alcohol.org, that liquid courage isn't just relaxing the nerves, they're lowering your inhibitions.

Now, I'm sure you've heard that line a hundred times, but did you know 51 percent of first dates ended up between the sheets after five or more drinks?

1,002 people were questioned for the study, Drinking on Dates, about their alcohol intake on their most recent first date – and the results are very much a mixed bag. 

So let's kick off with going cold turkey – you can probably leave your sexy underwear at home, as only 10 percent of people reported getting it at the end of a first date when they didn't drink.

Now, there's nothing more annoying than wasting a face of makeup and an evening on a terrible date.

And for the ladies when things start to go sour, our alcohol intake lessens.

In fact 43 percent of women said they drink less when the date isn't going well – keeping those wits about you.

Interestingly, only a third of men do the same.

Perhaps the most important topic when it comes to alcohol and sex is consent.

Participates where asked how many drinks would you have to consume to consider themselves unable to give consent – and the answers were very insightful.

Split into male and female, 78 percent of men said five drinks or more, whereas 53 percent of women said the same.

But most telling is more than a fifth of women said three drinks or more would impact their ability to give consent, compared with just 9 percent of men.

Getting down to the nitty-gritty, they were then asked how many drinks would your partner/date need to consume before you believe they couldn't give consent.

If a potential lover drank five drinks or more, almost half of men would think that they couldn't give consent. 

Whereas 61 percent of women thought their date wouldn't be able to say yes, after having the same quantity.

19 percent of men said their partner couldn't give consent after 3 or more, compared to 16 percent of women.

So what does all this mean?

The correlation between people not being able to give consent after five drinks and more than half reporting having sex after that many drinks – seriously raises alarms.

Though the night might be going fabulously, and those feelings are in the air – keep in mind this study when you accept or buy another drink. 

As most things in life, moderation seems to be the best way to go, and most people opt for this.

They actively limit themselves to two drinks on a first date and score themselves a second date. –  Now, that's what we call success.

Riverdale will return to Netflix this week for an explosive third season. Love is certainly in the air in the small American town with everyone and anyone hooking up on (and off) the show. We’ll even see old flames FP and Alice reunite, but we can’t help but worry about how that will affect Jughead and Betty’s relationship.

The passing of Emma Mhic Mhatúna has been felt around the entire country since news of her death broke yesterday afternoon.

The untimely passing of the mum-of-five has broken the hearts of the nation, especially after how hard Emma fought for the women affected by the Cervical Check scandal.

Emma was diagnosed with cancer in 2016 after two smear tests showed incorrect results.

Fellow campaigner Vicky Phelan has paid tribute to Emma in a touching series of tweets.

“May you rest in peace now Emma. My thoughts are with your children who should not have to be facing into a future without you Xxx,” she wrote.

Vicky explained that she needed to take some time away from social media as tributes poured in for the 37-year-old.

She revealed that another woman affected by the Cervical Check scandal had passed away this weekend.

Vicky extended her thoughts to Emma’s family, especially her five children who have been left without a mum.

“As I sit here in the quiet with only my thoughts and my husband and two children tucked up in bed, I am so very grateful to be alive and well. Yet, my heart breaks for two more families devastated by cervical cancer,” she wrote.

 

There’s no doubt Emma’s tireless campaigning and determined spirit will forever be remembered. Her family said they are grateful for the legacy she left behind.

“We take some comfort in the knowledge that Emma will be long remembered by the thousands of people who have been inspired by her fight for justice, transparency and improved services."
