Just when you thought the 1D lads had completely turned theirs backs on the band that shot them to fame, it's been revealed that Harry Styles will produce a brand new CBS sitcom inspired by his early years of fame.

According to People, the sitcom will be called Happy Together and will tell the story of young pop star Felix Mallard who moves in with a married couple played by Damon Wayans Jr. and Amber Stevens West.

The plot is based on an actual period in Harry's life, when he lived with producer Ben Winston and his wife Meredith shortly after finding fame on The X-Factor

The living arrangement was only meant to last a few weeks, as Harry was waiting for work to be finished on his own house, however, the young star ended up living in the couple's home for 20 months.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Ben spoke highly of Harry, admitting he was absolutely "gutted" when he eventually moved out.

"Those 20 months were when they went from being on a reality show, X Factor, to being the biggest-selling artists in the world," he said.

"That period of time, he was living with us in the most mundane suburban situation. No one ever found out, really. Even when we went out for a meal, it's such a sweet family neighbourhood, no one dreamed it was actually him. But he made our house a home. And when he moved out, we were gutted."

It's believed Harry will play a huge role as executive producer of the new sitcom, with leading actress Amber telling People "he's going to care about the stories that we're telling."

Happy Together is set to premiere on CBS in the autumn.

No matter how your partner pops the questions, it is always full of emotion and a memory you won’t forget…unless you’re Lea Michele.

As her now-fiancé Zandy Reich got down on one knee, the glee-actress was so taken back that she blacked out.

Still on cloud 9!  you Z..

A post shared by Lea Michele (@leamichele) on

Revealing to People, Michele explained her shock.

“I was surprised…I think the first thing I said to him was, ‘Stop joking around!’ So I was super surprised.”

“Everyone said, ‘Try to be present because it’ll happen so quickly.’ Which I didn’t listen to at all and blacked out and I barely remember. We both blacked out and were like, ‘What? Did we say yes? Is this happening?’ ” the 31-year-old said.

The proposal took place last April in the Hamptons, as the actress relayed during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Her boyfriend of over a year, Reich (the president of clothing company AYR) asked the question with a four-carat diamond ring personally designed for Michele with Leor Yerushalmi and The Jewelers of Las Vegas.

“It was so great…It was very private, so it was just nice to be with our families and stuff for a while,” she told People.

The actress says she is still getting used to the idea of being someone’s future wife and added her engagement “doesn’t feel real” yet, as she gets stuck into wedding planning, when her hectic schedule allows, of course.

“I’m definitely thinking about it! I’m a busy person and I feel like you have to make it a priority because if you don’t, there’s always stuff that’s going to come and get in the way and take your time and attention,” she reveals.

“I try to make sure I try to carve out a little bit of time every day to just chip away at some planning.”

When it came to knowing that Reich was the one, she says it was her father’s stamp of approval that got the actress thinking.

“I think when I realised my father potentially liked him more than me,” she said. “I really think that’s when I realised he was the one!”

If you like makeup, and especially makeup tutorials on YouTube, you must know and love Lisa Eldridge.

Currently global creative director of Lancôme, the British makeup artist have been producing the best videos and we swear by her universally chic makeup look and her acne covering makeup.

If you have been watching Lisa's videos, you must also have noticed the gorgeous rings she sports as she applies makeup. And you are not the only one.

Designed by William Welstead, the rings that she stacks have been her signature and apparently, they have been inspiring countless copycats.

“When I noticed companies were selling rings using my name, that was the moment I was like, ‘This is crazy,’ ” said Eldridge to Vogue.

Her passion for the gems has made her become a close friend of Welstead and the pair has collaborated to create the Lisa Eldridge Collection, launching tomorrow at London Dover Street Market.

Consisting of 25 gold and sterling silver rings, the collection is set with stone shades reminding the colour palette of an eye shadow box. All the stones have been sourced by Welstead in Bangkok and India.

As for the price point, the collection will be more affordable than Welstead's namesake work, ranging from 400 to 750 euros.

Twitter users have accused Lily Allen of 'glamorising' drug use after she posted a photo of herself being carried away from an award ceremony after accidently taking ketamine.

The singer shared the pictures, which were taken at the 2008 Glamour Awards, in response to a follower who asked her to give "the best reason you've kicked out of an event, building or group."

"Someone gave me a line of what I assumed to be cocaine at the Glamour awards once, but it turned out to be Ketamine. I was thrown out (passed over some railings) of the Glamour awards for being in a k hole," she wrote.

She went on to explain how the security guards removed her from the venue put her into a taxi.

Unable to direct the driver, Lily's assistant instructed her brother Alfie Allen and chat show host Alan Carr to follow in the car behind.

When asked if he remembered the night in question, Alan Carr was able to pick up where Lily left off.

Many Twitter users were quick to criticise the photos, with many suggesting that Lily's experience was nothing to be proud of.

However, others offered their support for the star who has openenly stuggled with drug and alcohol abuse in the past.

If you're registered to vote in the upcoming referendum to repeal the 8th amendment, you might be registered in a location other than the one you're living in.

It might be a different town, or on the other side of the country, and for some, time and financial constraints and poor transport options mean that driving could be the only way to get to the polling station.

To combat this, a Facebook group called Driving For Repeal has been set up, allowing people to arrange lifts to and from voting stations.

Some kind souls are ven offering up their entire day to ferrying people back and forth.

'On May 25th, voters in Ireland will be deciding whether to keep the 8th amendment to the constitution or to repeal it. Every vote counts. Every repeal voter needs to be able to get to their polling place, whether it's near or far, and whatever the weather,' reads the group description.

'You can do your part in this. If you have a car, and if you are willing to drive people to the polls, please consider posting your availability here: times available and general area. If you need a lift to a polling station on the 25th, or you know somebody who does, you can then make contact with available drivers.'

There is also a hashtag on Twitter where people are volunteering their vehicles to the cause, under #votermoter and #votermotor.

'For security, avoid being alone in a car with somebody that you don't know: please take sensible precautions to check out the profile of people that you make contact with, and leave relevant details with people you know,' reminds the group moderator.

'Drivers make sure they are properly insured to take passengers, and pay for the petrol and all associated costs.'

Listen, we're all for mad makeup, and rainbow eyeshadow palettes.

However, I think sometimes we forget to actually mind our skin, before we get all creative with the cosmetics.

And while I may not be particularly old (yet), I have become more aware of my skin in recent years.

I cleanse, tone and moisturise daily, use all the oils and serums I can get my hands on, and of course, LASH on the sudo creme when I break out.

However, one thing I didn't really do until a couple of months back was use eye cream.

Lads – we all need to use eye cream! I'm telling you.

Anyhoo, I tried a few different brands, and different products within said brands – and landed a fave.

I landed on Yonka, who I was already obsessed with before I discovered their eye cream!

Specifically, I adore their Alpha Contour eye cream – and you can also use it on your lips. Double whammy!

Anyway, I digress.

Basically, Yonka have class eye creams, and they just so happen to be having a special May promotion, where all these eye creams are 20%.

Usually €37, the creams will be on sale for €31 – making them very, very good value for the eye cream market.

Give it a go, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Is there anything better than a lil bag of delicious Malteasers?

Whether you munch them, or eat the chocolate off them first, and then devour the malty goodness – they're just excellent.

And as much as we ADORE the classic Malteaser, we also love the bars, bunnys and ice cream.

So with that, we are proud to inform you that there's a new member of the Malt family – the Malteasers Buttons.

I know, it's pretty overwhelming.

We first saw these delicious beauties on Instagram, when Productsinstore shared an image of the new product.

The account stated that the new Maltesers buttons will be out next month in the UK.

This peaked my curiosity, so I decided to get in touch with my good pals over at Malteasers.

It was GOOD NEWS.

Not half excited as we are, let me tell you!

I have no other information for you right now, but I promise once these babies are launched, I will do a very large taste test.

I reckon these may become a new Irish fave!

Kim Kardashian recently posted a picture to her Instagram, showing the pop culture icon enjoying a confectionery delicacy – the humble lolly pop.

However, unlike most sugary snacks, this particular product was promoted by Kim as an appetite minimising lolly – 'They’re Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they’re literally unreal.'

The Flat Tummy Co brand who makes the pops (and who have 1.5 million followers online) claim that 'it’s a struggle to get the time to keep that tummy flat,' and that these products will 'move some of those stubborn lbs.'

The promotion has been slammed on social media, as many feel that the product is encouraging restrictive eating.

'This disgusts me,' Irish influencer Melanie Murphy, who struggled with an eating disorder for two years, wrote on Twitter.

'Would disgust me *less* if she was broke and desperate for money to feed her kids…WHAT AM I LOOKING AT? Does this women ever read? There’s been a surge in young women being hospitalized for eating disorders! I guess a healthy balanced diet ain’t gonna pay ya'

Dr Hazel Wallace, who has a personal training qualification and a huge following as a healthy lifestyle influencer, called out the lollypop products as harmful

'Question “babes” – how do you sleep at night knowing that you endorse and encourage food restriction and disordered eating?' she tweeted the brand.

This isn't the first time Hazel, aka The Food Medic has called out diet products.

The junior doctor gave followers a crash course on skinny diet teas on her Snapchat a while back.

'Some of these detoxes are really dangerous and not healthy at all, especially some of the skinny teas,’ said Hazel'

‘Although they claim they are natural many drugs are actually from nature but it doesn’t make them naturally good for you. Your liver does the detoxing for your body you don’t need a green tea to detox,’ she advised.

Kim has since removed the image from her Instagram page.
