Hollywood actor Kevin Hart is currently "able to walk and move his extremities" but he still might need surgery, US reports are saying.

The dad-of-three is recovering in hospital after he was left with "major back injuries" after a horrific crash on Sunday morning in California.

Medics are hopeful that the 40-year-old will make a full recovery, but The Blast reports that he's undergoing tests to determine which back surgery he may need.

Hart reportedly left the crash scene on Mulholland Highway to call paramedics shortly after the accident occurred.

28-year-old Jared Black, who was driving Kevin's rare 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, sustained back injuries and was taken to another hospital.

Jared's fiance and Kevin's wife's personal trainer, 31-year-old Rebecca Broxterman, only complained of minor pain.

A California Highway Patrol collision report said Jared lost control of the vehicle as he turned onto the highway.

The car then veered off the road and rolled down an embankment in the early hours of Sunday morning. Hart has received floods of heartfelt messages from A-list fans and friends.

The Rock pleaded with the Jumanji: The Next Level star to "stay strong" for the laughing they have to do together; "Stop messing with my emotions brother."

“Let’s all send him positive energy and healing thoughts. He’s a good human. Get well soon, brother. B."

Hart's rare 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, known as 'The Menace', was unrecognisable in the images of the wreckage, as the roof and bonnet was ripped off and doors almost flattened.

Doctors have stated that the lack of consultants in Irish hospitals is having a "serious effect" on Irish women's healthcare.

The Irish Hospital Consultants Association (IHCA) have released figures showing 28,417 women are currently waiting to see a gynaecologist in Ireland.

5,394 women are waiting over 12 months, and there has been a 40 percent increase since 2014 in the number of women waiting to see a consultant gynaecologist nationally.

Gynaecologist and obstetrician Dr Peter Boylan has stated to the Irish Mirror that the problem could be seriously detrimental to Irish women's health.

"Unfilled specialist posts are making it difficult for women to be seen in a timely fashion," he said.

"Our waiting lists for outpatients are among the worst in the world… and that's having a really serious effect on women's health and well-being."

3,469 women are waiting for the Rotunda Hospital to offer them an appointment with a gynaecologist. 3,148 women are waiting in Tallaght Hospital, and 2,099 are waiting for the Coombe Hospital in Dublin.

Galway University Hospital has 1,898 women waiting, with 1,783 in Letterkenny General Hospital, 1,522 in Portlaoise Hospital and 1,468 in Limerick University Hospital.

The consultant recruitment and retention crisis is a big factor in rising numbers of Irish women now waiting, according to the IHCA.

One-in-five or over 500 of all permanent consultant posts nationally are now empty or only temporarily filled, leading to long periods of wait times to access essential healthcare services.

The IHCA claim that the Government's consistent support for a "failed policy" is resulting in "the unique and extremely damaging" salary cut which consultants appointed since 2012 have been served.

New consultants are being paid up to 51 percent less than their colleagues, despite having some of the same job responsibilities.

Pay parity needs to be restored for new consultants, rather than driving them abroad to countries like Australia who will pay them accordingly.

Former Friends actor Matthew Perry has been battling addiction for many years, but his fans are worried about his welfare after his latest tweet.

The 49-year-old's weight has hugely fluctuated over the years of his substance abuse, with reports of pancreatitis after his Vicodin addiction and use of methadone, amphetamines, and alcohol.

He entered rehab in 1997, 2001 and 2015, the BBC reported. He also told that publication in 2016 that he barely remembered filming three seasons of Friends.

He tweeted this morning; "I got kicked out of therapy today," leading many fans to worry that he's slipping back into substance abuse.

The post comes only five months after he tweeted in September that he had spent three months in hospital to undergo surgery to repair a ruptured bowel.

He told his followers, "Three months in a hospital bed. Check."

He spoke to ABC News in 2018, saying; "Mostly it was drinking and opiates. I think I was pretty good at hiding it from my Friends co-stars but eventually people are aware."

The actor says he has used his abuse issues to aid fellow addicts, telling The Hollywood Reporter:

"I've had a lot of ups and downs in my life and a lot of wonderful accolades, but the best thing about me is that if an alcoholic comes up to me and says, 'Will you help me stop drinking?' I will say, 'Yes. I know how to do that.'"

We wish him a healthy recovery, and hope that he's taking care of his mental health too.

A 'Rats Out of the HSE' protest took place today outside the Department of Health's office in Dublin, following a leak of patient information.

The woman had legally obtained an abortion, but was then phoned and harassed by anti-abortion groups, according to TheJournal.ie

The protesters were calling for better protection of confidential patient information and for an external investigation to be launched after last week's data breaches.

Roughly 12 people took part in the protest at lunchtime, carrying placards and holding cut-out rat masks at Miesian Plaza.

A number of investigations were launched last week into the shocking claims.

A woman had an abortion at the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin, otherwise known as Holles Street, and was later verbally abused over the phone by a man who had somehow obtained her personal information.

On Friday, anti-abortion protesters stated that they were given information on when abortions were scheduled to occur at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

Councillor Éilis Ryan of The Workers’ Party has said the HSE needed to clearly explain the steps it had taken to ensure that staff were providing abortion services in a trustworthy, fair and transparent manner.

"It doesn’t seem that any thought was put into how to change the culture of our hospitals to ensure people who might have anti-choice feelings themselves are not biased in how they carry out their healthcare provision”.

Her worry regarding the ability of our healthcare services to adapt without bias is felt by many.

Health Minister Simon Harris has admitted that an internal probe will take place, but “given the scale of scandals linking to the HSE in recent years we don’t feel that an internal investigation can be trusted or is sufficient”, according to Ryan.

She feels that Gabriel Scally is trustworthy, after he carried out the Cervical Check screening programme review.

Simon Harris said on Friday  that it was “extraordinarily concerning and disturbing” that a patient’s details of her own abortion could possibly become public.

"The idea that anybody might leak a woman’s confidential information is reprehensible, it is grotesque, it’s disgusting and that is why I asked the HSE yesterday to investigate the matter and report back."

The HSE, the Dublin Well Woman Clinic, the National Maternity Hospital and the Data Protection Commissioner are apparently making inquiries regarding the apparent incident.

Temple Street Children's University Hospital has claimed that a shocking 842 children who were attending its Emergency Department in 2018 were living in emergency accomodation, or didn't have a fixed address.

This means that there has been a 29 percent increase in the amount of patients who are being discharged into homelessness in Dublin, and one-quarter of the children were under one year old.

In 2017, the number of children discharged from ED who had no fixed address was 651.

The majority children last year presented with medical ailments such as chest infections, seizures, asthma, high temperatures and vomiting.

On the other side, 23 percent of children presented with trauma such as head lacerations, burns, self-harm and hand and arm injuries.

In the final three months of 2018 alone, 260 children attended Temple Street's Emergency Department without a fixed address.

Head Medical Social Worker at Temple Street, Anne-Marie Jones commented on the situation, condemning it as "shameful";

She said: "When these children leave our ED, they stay in temporary accommodation with cramped conditions and no appropriate cooking, washing or play facilities."

She added; "This results in accidents or traumas that wouldn’t normally happen if these families were housed in a family home.”

Dr Ike Okafor, Emergency Medicine Consultant , meanwhile, argued that children's recovery is massively affected by their living situation.

Dr Okafor claims that; "There are children where you do what you can do in hospital, and then you hope they'll go home and recover."

"But these accommodations aren't conducive for recovery for some of the conditions – so they're not the ideal," he said.

He described cases of children undergoing surgery and then having nowhere to go from there, as well as incidents involving children being assaulted trying to find accommodation.

The most recent official homeless figures from November show there were 3,811 children in emergency accommodation that month.

According to The Mayo Clinic, sepsis is a potentially life-threatening complication of an infection. Sepsis occurs when chemicals released into the bloodstream to fight the infection trigger inflammatory responses throughout the body.

This inflammation can trigger a cascade of changes that can damage multiple organ systems, causing them to fail.

If sepsis progresses to septic shock, blood pressure drops dramatically, which may lead to death.

Vogue Williams is very nearly ready to pop.

The 32-year-old DJ and TV presenter took to Instagram Stories to share her packed hospital bag – and there was a lot to it!

Super-organised Vogue explained exactly what had made it into her case and why.

To make the whole thing easier, the case was split into two sides – Labour Side and After Labour.

So, first off – Labour Side!

You have your basics – things like toiletries, face creams, cleanser and moisturiser because, as she says, ''I don't wanna be a sweaty mess.''

Preach, Vogue.

Also on the Labour side of the suitcase was a speaker, as she has ''a playlist that really calms me down.''

Add in a few candles that will help and a ''sweet dreams'' oil.

Vogue showed her followers the clothes she got for actual labour, as she explains that she was told to get dark clothes – cue cute pjs and a string top ''that's really stretchy for when you do give birth and I'm just gonna throw them out after,'' she says in the Instagram Story.

Packs of bobbins and hair clips are ''essential!''as well as some Berocca for energy.

She adds that it's Spencer's job to make sure i'm hydrated so she'll make sure she gets snacks and some Lucozade.

Vogue moves onto the After Labour suitcase, which includes two pairs pf pjs, a dressing gown and all her maternity bras and underwear.

Then we got the stuff for the less glam side of giving birth – nappies, pads and instant cold packs to put in your underwear ''because I heard that your gonna need them too,'' Vogue laughs.

As for her going-home outfit?

''Definitely flats, either sandals or trainers and a floaty dress,'' she says.

''If I don't want to wear a dress then jeans and a shirt…I did bring cycling shorts as well.''

Vogue rounded up the hospital suitcase with, of course, clothes for the baby.

''There's newborn size or 0-3 months as I don't know what size hes gonna be, he might never fit into newborn,'' she explains.

There were a few extra bits at the end (yes, this did all fit into one suitcase!)  like a blanket to bring baby home in, a laundry bag for dirty bits, nipples shields for breastfeeding, soothers, earplugs, an eye mask and socks, ''as I was told your feet get cold in labour.''

She certainly seems ready for baby – good luck Vogue, we're wishing you a safe birth and a healthy little one.

This bada** rockstar has shown just how tough she truly is. Pink has been released from her hospital stay and has a message for all her fans.

The mum has recently been touring Australia and posted about her forced decision to postpone a concert due to her and her children’s illness.

“What these parasite paparazzi don’t show you, is two doctor visits in Byron on two consecutive days, antibiotics, steroids, Vick’s, nose spray, throat spray, more steroids, NyQuil,

“A screaming baby in the middle of the night, every night, while mama gives him warm baths and tells her daughter everything is fine.”

I don’t need to clear this up, but out of respect for my fans I will attempt it. I scheduled this tour meticulously, trying to do what was best for my children, while also putting on the best and most physically demanding and beautiful show of my life. This break in Byron has been scheduled since 2017, as a way to get outside the hotel and the winter and have some time with my children. I’ve already been sick twice (kids as well)on this Australian tour, but the first time we got sick, I was able to push through. This time, what these parasite paparazzi don’t show you, is two doctor visits in Byron on two consecutive days, antibiotics, steroids, Vick’s, nose spray, throat spray, more steroids, NyQuil, a screaming baby in the middle of the night, every night, while mama gives him warm baths and tells her daughter everything is fine. You can think whatever you want, it’s your right, but I have never taken advantage of any one in my entire life. I have never fucked off while disrespecting hard working people who spend money to come see me play. I have never phoned in a single tour, I have an impeccable record for not cancelling. I mother with everything I have whilst handling all the rest. The snark in this is unbelievable and makes me long for a nicer world. I’m doing the absolute best I can, and you can believe it or not. What they don’t show you in this picture is me drinking water and lying down while my friends try to entertain my 7 year old who is asking me why these creepy men are surrounding us and pacing back and forth and taking pictures of her every move. I will see everyone tomorrow whether I’m better or not, and the postponed show will be rescheduled. As I said, I’m sorry to the real fans who this situation has affected. Onwards and upwards.

The rockstar explained how physically demanding her show has been and that she was “doing the absolute best” she could.

Pink, once again, tried to push through the pain and sickness to deliver fans the amazing, jaw-dropping performance they have been waiting for.

However, this time she may have pushed herself too far.

The singer was rushed to the hospital just 20 minutes before she was due to leave for the concert’s soundcheck on Monday due to “excruciating pain”.

According to Live Nation, the mum was admitted and treated for severe dehydration on Sunday. Then was forced to return to the hospital the next day, just before her scheduled concert.

She was then diagnosed with a gastric virus and admitted for treatment until her hospital release last night.

Pink explained how physical her performances are: “I flip, dance, fly, harness, silk, and scream my way through a total shit show of awesomeness (no pun intended).

“I think all of you deserve the full show and me at my best. Our next show will be Saturday, and until then I will be drinking green tea, and spending time with my kids.”

Hi beautiful Sydney people. First, I want to say thank you to all of the kind people out there for your well wishes for my speedy recovery. On Monday, we were absolutely planning on going ahead with the show, and about 20 minutes before I left for soundcheck, I was rushed to the hospital, in excruciating pain. That was the reason for the late cancellation. It was out of anyone’s control, and of course, wasn’t planned that way. I was discharged from hospital last night, and am following doctors orders of liquids and rest. A lot of you know how physical my shows are, and that I don’t just stand in front a microphone and sing. I flip, dance, fly, harness, silk, and scream my way through a total shit show of awesomeness (no pun intended). Therefore, I need to be physically healthy and well in order to perform this show. I think all of you deserve the full show and me at my best. Our next show will be Saturday, and until then I will be drinking green tea, and spending time with my kids. That’s a warning to paparazzi, you might actually see me walking upright outside of my hotel room cage with two little children, and another warning: I might even smile. Not too much, though. I’ll try to control the smiling. My sincere apologies to any of the ticket holders that this has affected, the rescheduled dates will be announced today. Thank you for your patience, compassion, and support. I look forward to rocking out with all of you as we have done for many many years. All of my love. Pink I also want to thank the amazing doctors and nurses at St Vincent’s Hospital for taking such good care of me and getting me home to my kids.

The singer was  absolutely heartbroken that she could not be there for her fans, but she needs to put her health first so she can continue to finish her tour.

She concluded, “thank you for your patience, compassion, and support. I look forward to rocking out with all of you as we have done for many many years. All of my love.”

The rescheduled concert dates will be announced later today.

We hope the singer and mum continues to recover smoothly. She is a complete rockstar on stage and for pushing through her health issues for her fans.

It was suspected that Demi had relapsed after she surprised fans with her song “Sober” a few days before her overdose.

In the track, she apologies to her family and fans: “I’m not sober anymore. […] I wanna be a role model, but I'm only human.”

A source told TMZ that Demi nearly died but is stable and said to be released this week from the hospital.

Demi has continued to be transparent about her journey in life through her lyrics and in interviews as well.

Many of her fans love that the star is so real with them and were absolutely devastated when they heard the news of her hospitalisation.
