Grey's Anatomy has been renewed for a 15th season, making it the longest running primetime drama in the history of the ABC network.

Making its debut in 2005, the medical drama has become somewhat of a cult favourite for television fans across the globe.

Speaking about the phenomenal success, Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment said: “Grey’s Anatomy has a special place in my heart and millions of viewers feel the same way.”

“Thanks to fiercely loyal fans who have been on this journey since the beginning, and new generations of viewers who continue to discover the joy and drama of Grey Sloan Memorial, the show is as strong as ever.”

With season 14 not even finished yet, fans of the show are already gearing up for another series of shocking plot twists.

Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey in the series, will return for the 15th season amid reports the actress has signed on to two more seasons for an eye-watering $26 million a year.

The news comes after a second Grey's spinoff was announced. The new shoe is set to focus on on a team of firefighters and Grey’s character Ben Warren, played by actor Jason George, will be taking up residence among the fire battling team.

The spin-off will be based just a few blocks away from Grey Sloan Memorial hospital, so we're expecting plenty of cross-overs!

Many fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment at the news.

No word yet on whether or not the tour dates will be rescheduled.

A number of protestors have gathered a Repeal the 8th mural at Dublin's Project Arts Centre after the Charities Regulator ordered its removal.

Commissioned by The Hunreal Issues, the mural by Maser has been a reminder to the city that their is support for women and men who have been impacted by the 8th Amendment.

The mural is being removed because its' political theme goes against the charitable status awarded to the Project Arts Centre.

'The Charities Regulator has informed Project Arts Centre that the display of Maser’s ‘Repeal the 8th’ artwork is ‘political activity’ and that we are therefore in breach of the Charities Act 2009 and not in line with our ‘charitable purpose,' reads a statement from the Project Arts Centre.

'Should the artwork not be removed, we risk losing our charitable status.'

'The Board and executive of Project are conscious of their obligations under the Charities Act 2009 and the charitable purpose of the organisation,' Fiona Slevin, Chair of Project Arts Centre said.

'We strive to sustain Project’s stated purpose and objectives, namely to remain Ireland’s leading centre for the presentation and development of contemporary art, and to work with artists across all art forms to make and present extraordinary works that inspire and provoke.'

'The artwork by Maser fits precisely with this remit. In presenting Maser’s work, we are facilitating the presentation of art by a highly regarded, award-winning street artist who has displayed artworks across Ireland, Europe and the United States.'

Online dating is tricky business. Between picking the perfect profiler and composing a witty bio, portraying the best version of ourselves can be tough.

Sure, you may have gathered an impressive number of matches, but how many of these potential suitors have you actually talked to?

It’s fairly common practice nowadays, but according to Erika Ettin, relationship coach and founder of dating site A Little Nudge, this is just one of the ways we’re shooting ourselves in the foot when it comes to finding love online.

“You’ll find an exception to every rule, but my background is analytical, and I’m an analytical person,” she told Business Insider.

“So if something works 99 per cent of the time, that’s what I’m going to recommend. You’ll always find the 1 per cent and that’s fine, but I’d rather give you a better chance.”

Explaining how to get the most from online dating, Erika compiled a list of the 13 worst mistakes we all make:

1. Not writing a bio

2. Just writing your height

3. Too many pictures

4. Your first picture isn’t your face

5. No full body photo

6. No interesting photos

7. Pictures with other people

8. Nothing but group pictures

9. Too many pictures of people of the opposite sex

10. Boring conversation starters

11. No momentum

12. Talking too much over text

13. Keeping a backlog of the matches you never talk to

You’re propably sittiing there nodding along thinking how annoying it is when you come across a profile like this – but how many are you guilty of?

Curate your profile to show your best self (without exagerating the truth) and you’ll turn those matches into dates in no time.

So now you know – visit GoDateNow.com to get started.

Netflix series The Crown was the centre of a huge pay-gap scandal earlier this year. It was revealed that star of the popular drama series Claire Foy was paid substantially less than her co-star Matt Smith.

The pair may have stolen viewers hearts with their emotional and jaw-dropping performances as Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth, but fans of the show were extremely disappointed to hear that the Doctor Who star was paid more than Claire Foy.

It is understood that Claire received £40,000 per episode for the first two series of the show, with Matt earning far more, although his exact earnings have not been disclosed.

The show’s producers admitted that the actor received more due to his previous work on the BBC series Doctor Who.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Matt stated, “Claire is one of my best friends, and I believe that we should be paid equally and fairly and there should be equality for all.”

He admitted that he was relieved to hear that the matter had been sorted out, “I support her completely, and I'm pleased that it was resolved and they made amends for it because that’s what needed to happen.”

He believes that we need to work harder to make all workplaces more equal, “Going forward, I think we should all bear in mind that we need to strive to make this better and a more even playing field for everyone involved — but not just in our industry, in all industries."

Suzanne Mackie, who is the executive producer of The Crown, stated that from now on, “No one gets paid more than the Queen.”

The next series of The Crown is rumoured to air early next year, however, Netflix has not released an official air date yet. There will be a brand new cast with Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies taking over as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

All rules go out the window and it's basically a free pass to wear whatever the hell you want.

Last year, thousands of festival-goers celebrated their femininity by ditching the bras and decorating their boobs with glitter and jewels – which was pretty damn cool of you ask us.

But this year, the fabulous ladies of the festival world have taken things one step further and are covering their tatas with dainty flowers instead.

Gorgeous, yet empowering, the bold new look was created by Face Florals, a company that specialise in pressed flowers to decorate your face and body.

According to Metro, Flowers Boobs came to life when a customer stuck the petals to her chest rather than her face, creating this year's ultimate festival trend.

But don't worry if the idea of getting your boobs out doesn't exactly fell you with joy – you can still jump on the flower power bandwagon by using the accessories on other parts of your body.

The brand also sell a range of other adorable bits including daisies that can be dotted around your eyes and sprigs for you hair.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London earlier this morning in the early stages of labour. The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge."

Kate will welcome her third child at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital. The Duchess also gave birth to her son Prince George and daughter Princess Charlotte at St. Mary’s Hospital in London.

Prince William and Kate revealed that they were expecting their third child last September. They had to announce Kate’s pregnancy earlier than usual because the Duchess suffers from severe morning sickness.

It is understood that William and Kate do not know the sex of their third child, but that hasn’t stopped the public from guessing the name of royal baby number three, with Alice and Phillip leading the odds at the bookies.

The baby will be born fifth in line to the throne. Their official title will be HRH Prince or Princess of Cambridge.
