We may all remember Frankie Cocozza as the guy who got his bum out on the X-Factor stage 2011.

Cocozza withdrew from the competition in the early stages, but not before he had established a mega fan base, and currently has over 170,000 followers on Instgaram.

The singer also appeared on Celebrities Go Dating, looking for love, but apparently he found it not long after with the stunning Bianca Murphy.

Louise Cooney never fails to slay in the style department, but one of her most recent looks caught our eye.

Her gal pal Aideen Murphy uploaded a snap of Louise onto Louise's Instagram and penned the caption, showing the blogger wearing a divine, summery, Wimbeldon-worthy white blazer dress with a pleated hem.

Sweet, short and summery, Aideen revealed in the caption that the micro-mini was from Zara, and right away we we're adding to cart.

A post shared by Louise Cooney (@louisecooney_) on

The dress comes in at €49.95, not too shabby for a wear-all-season piece.

However, we like to get our money's worth out of our wardrobe, so as well as wearing it a la Louise with plain black heels, we're brainstorming other ways to don this dress.

First up, we'll be adding a black turtleneck, long-sleeved t-shirt underneath and knee high, heeled boots for a sophisticated night out look, complete with big gold hoop earrings.

Zara blazer dress €49.95

Alternatively, we'd go for statement gold heels and a denim jacket with lashings of tan and a beaded, colourful clutch.

To take this look into day time, we'd wear the waistcoat dress open over a white bodysuit and blue jeans, or closed over black jeans and boots.

We'd also wear it as a dress with a pair of statement runners, a bomber jacket and a canvas tote for an edgier, street wear inspired style.

A lot of information is thrown our way these days, and when it comes to our sexual health, it can be difficult to make decisions.

What birth control is right for me? Should I switch my pill? Is skipping my period actually safe?

These questions all run through our minds every now and again, but a lot of the time, they go unanswered.

Whether you have a fear of doctors or life just gets in the way, these decisions are difficult to make with little or no guidance, and that's where this app comes in.

A post shared by Tia (@asktia) on

The new iPhone app, Tia, aims to be your personal assistant when it comes to your sexual health.

According to Refinery29, Tia is "for millennial women by millennial women, and run both by a bot and by human sexual health educators."

You can privately ask a question about birth control or sexual health, and if the bot knows the answer, it will shoot it right back at you.

However, if the app doesn't know any information or doesn't understand the question, then it will be sent over to a "wing woman," or in other words, one of its sexual health experts.

Wing women are online everyday between the hours of 8am and 11pm, so you'll always have someone there.

As well as being a source of sexual health information, the app also reminds you to take your pill and can track your menstrual cycle.

"She’s your go-to for all those 'ugh!' 'oops' and 'huh?' moments," according to a source in Refinery29.

While this app seems like a total Godsend, we understand that some women might be a little wary depending on an app to give them solid information.

A post shared by Tia (@asktia) on

Tia was developed with the help of two doctors – Aparna Sridhar, MD/MPH, a practicing ob-gyn and Sally Rafie, PharmD, a pharmacist specialist and they were the key to developing the app's algorithm.

In saying that though, if you do want to make any changes, small or drastic, it's always better to sit down with your doctor face-to-face to see which course of action is right for you.

But as for Tia, we'll be using this as a guideline for our everyday 'oops!' moments.

The government is currently working on a new legislation that could see businesses being fined for not sharing pay-gap details.

Minister of State for Equality, David Stanton has brought forward the proposed legislation to clamp down on the gender pay-gap issue.

Companies with over 250 employees will have to share details of salaries, hourly pay, part-time workers’ wages and bonuses at least once a year.

The legislation will be expanded to smaller companies with 150 workers after two years, and then to companies with 50 employees a year after if the bill is passed.

Companies will also have to share details of the number of male and female employees at each level of the salary scale.

It is understood that companies who don’t share the details they will be fined and some cases may be brought towards the Circuit Court.

The bill, if passed, will apply to companies in both the private and public sector.

The gender pay-gap issue has been heavily highlighted in the entertainment industry, with The Crown’s Claire Foy being paid substantially less than her co-star Matt Smith.

However, this isn’t an issue that just affects the entertainment industry, with a submission from the Women's Council of Ireland revealing that working mums earn 14 percent less than their male colleagues.

On average, women who don’t have children earned 17 percent less than their male counterparts.

There are tonnes of well established Irish tan brands on the market right now.

From So Sue Me's Dripping Gold to Marissa Carter's behemoth brand Cocoa Brown, there's almost something for everyone.

Model and DJ Vogue Williams is lending her hand to beauty product development after the announcement of the launch of her very own tan brand.

'It's still a work in progress… at the moment I am still trialling formulations – testing different consistencies, colours and fragrances (all safe to use while pregnant too btw!)'

We'd wager that there are more than a few of you out there today sporting some very unwelcome sunburn.

With temperatures in the mid to late twenties across the country over the weekend, the vast majority of us wasted no time shedding our clothes and exposing our pale skin to the sun's rays.

And now we're all paying for it.

If you woke up looking like a lobster and feeling pretty damn foolish this morning, don't worry because we've got your back on this one.

1. Drink ALL the water

Your skin is quite literally burnt right now, and likely going through a process known as vasodilation which means your blood vessels are dilating and your skin is losing water.

This process can make you feel oh-so dehydrated and sluggish, so you need to chug on water in order to treat your internal system.

If you don't fancy making your way through pints of water, why not add some mint and lemon or stock up on coconut water which is just as beneficial?

2. Stock up on natural yoghurt

Chock-full of countless probiotics and enzymes which help to treat our skin, live natural yoghurt is a must if the weekend has left you sore and peeling.

Opt for natural (as opposed to flavoured) and apply a handful to the burned areas.

When you feel the yoghurt beginning to soothe the affected body parts, allow it to sit for five minutes before gently washing it off with cool water.

3. Avoid strong shower gels

The last thing any of us fancy when we're sunburned is a hot and steamy shower, but it's worth reassessing your entire shower routine during this time.

Avoid soap and suds while you're treating your sunburn as your skin is obviously in a very fragile condition and won't thank you for layering it with chemicals,

Finish every cool shower or bath with an Aloe Vera gel or moisturiser.

4. Collect all the cucumbers

We all know cucumber has a soothing, refreshing element which is why we often rest them over our eyes.

But have you ever thought to apply it to sunburn?

Throw a couple of chilled cucumbers into a blender along with some Aloe Vera gel and apply to the affected areas.

5. Milk it for all its worth

And no, we don't mean demanding days off work simply because you fell asleep in the sun after one too many cans.

Instead, apply cool, not cold, milk to a clean facecloth and rest it on your sunburn.

The milk will create a film on your sunburn that boasts a protein base which will help to lessen irritation and ultimately soothe the damaged skin.

This is not a drill!

An actual nutritionist said we can have pizza for breakfast and it's like all our childhood dreams have come true at once.

Speaking to The Daily Meal, registered dietician, Chelsey Amer, explained that when it comes to nutritional value, the take-away favourite actually trumps a number of more traditional breakfast dishes.

“You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories,” she said.

“However, pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full and boost satiety throughout the morning.”

“Plus, a slice of pizza contains more fat and much less sugar than most cold cereals, so you will not experience a quick sugar crash.”

It just gets better and better!

However, it's worth noting that these stats apply to a single slice; and let's be real, no one ever stops at just one slice.

Chelsey also admits that while it may have some nutritional benefits, pizza isn't exactly what you'd call a healthy food and should not be considered a regular alternative.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to what types of pizzas/ cereals you're consuming.

Obviously, a bowl full of added sugar and E numbers isn't exactly the healthiest choice, but neither is a fat-filled cheese fest – it's all about finding the right balance.

Speaking to The Independent, Harley Street nutritionist Rhiannon Lambert explained:

“If we’re talking about a big greasy pizza ordered online then it’s probably not the most well balanced meal to eat for breakfast,” explains Lambert, who has a healthy pizza alternative in her book Re-Nourish: A Simple Way To Eat Well.

“However, as mentioned, pizzas can be a healthy balance of carbs, fats and protein so as long as it doesn't contain unhealthy additives, who’s to say we can’t eat pizza for breakfast?”

Best news we've heard all year!
