Harry and Meghan weren’t the only lovebirds who tied the knot yesterday. Irish blogger Rosie Connolly married long-term partner Paul Quinn and the stunning bride has posted the first snaps from her wedding day.

The pair were joined by their family, friends and some of Ireland’s most popular influencers, including Louise Cooney and James Patrice, at Carton House, Kildare.

Rosie shared a beautiful photo where she posed alongside her new husband. She simply captioned the photo, “19-05-18.”

She certainly looked breathtakingly beautiful.

Earlier this morning, the gorgeous bride shared a photo of her sparkly wedding ring, and it is to die for.

Rosie shared that their wedding rings are from Rocks Jewellers. The newlyweds certainly picked the perfect (and sparkliest) ring.

She also shared a touching Instagram post on the eve of her wedding day.

Dublin renters have been urged to look out for a new scam that has been doing the rounds on property letting websites.

The con artist behind the scam post ads for unavailable properties and tries to gain the interested party's trust by sharing his drivers licence and a picture of himself. Both items of identification has been stolen from another person.

Fake contracts outlining the terms and conditions of the letting have also been sent to prospective tenants.

The scam first came to the attention of the Garda after the man whose identity had been stolen reported the crime.

It seems the man handed over his details when the criminal posed as a prospective tenant.

According to Independent.ie, at least one fake advertisement was posted on Daft.ie by the scammer for a three-bedroom property in Dublin 4.

The con artist demands two months rent before, as well as a deposit, before the property can even be viewed.

These types of scams have resulted in many desperate renters handing over thousands of euros for lettings that don't exist.

The eyes of the world were placed firmly on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle yesterday when the royal couple tied the knot in a spectacular ceremony at Windsor Castle.

However, the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have little time to celebrate and are reportedly putting off their honeymoon as royal duty calls.

The newlyweds will make their first official engagement as husband and wife this Tuesday at a garden party for Prince Charles' 70th birthday – but it's their international schedule that we're most excited about.

According to The Irish Independent, arrangements are being put in place for a royal visit to Ireland in the coming weeks, though the trip will not be the official honeymoon.

Sources told the newspaper that the Duke and Duchess are likely to attend a series of engagements over the two-day visit.

For security reasons, details of royal trips are normally kept under wraps until a short time before, though a source did say that Dublin "will possibly be the first foreign trip after their wedding."

We can't wait to welcome the Royals!

With less than a week to go until polling stations open on May 25, two opinion polls suggest the 'Yes' side still leads the way.

Commissioned by the Sunday Times, a poll of 935 people between May 3 and 15 showed a five point increase for those in favour of repealing the Eight Amendment in urban areas.

A 12 point increase in Dublin means that 67 per cent of voters in the capital plan to vote yes, while 54 per cent of voters in the rest of Leinster plan to do the same.

Meanwhile, a Sunday Business Post poll of a thousand adults between May 10 and 16 shows the 'Yes' side up three points to 56 per cent, while the 'No' side is up one to 27 per cent.

It seems however that the figures shifted somewhat when people were asked what way they thought their friends would vote.

Political Editor Michael Brennan, explained:  "Interestingly, Red C – our polling company – has done an analysis asking people how do they think their neighbours or their friends [will vote] and [from] listening to the campaign, what they think the outcome will be… we get a much tighter vote.

"The result from that type of polling – known as the 'wisdom of crowds' – is 56% Yes, 44% No."

The Eighth Amendment referendum will be held on Friday May 25th.

For those of us interested in it, sex can be completely fab. There are days when you're feeling absolutely, amazingly sexy and you cannot wait to get between the sheets with your partner(s) of choice.

However, there are some days that our insecurities hold us back from enjoying our saucy encounters to the fullest.

Body image can be a huge thing for both men and women when stripping off for sexy time.

A study conducted by Zava Med found that there are certain things that make us feel insecure and take us away from the romantic moment.

Both men and women found that their weight was on their minds just sex.

Almost three-quarters of 5,000 women in the study felt that their weight was an insecurity during sex, along with 67% of men.

55% of men were hung-up on their genitals, as were 52% of women. 23% of women also worries about how their boobs looked during sex.

All bodies are beautiful guys and gals – and it seems our partners know that.

Only 12% of men and 9% of women allow their partner's genitals to bother them, so that leaves almost 90% of men and women out there who aren't shallow when it comes to genital appearance.

As well as specific body parts, some felt self conscious about their sexual performance.

The performance anxiety impacted 675 of men and 51% of women studied, with men being 16% more likely to feel the pressure.

'This worry appears to be largely unfounded, though, as only 35 percent of men and 29 percent of women felt bothered by their partner's sexual performance,' Zava Med  found.

The Save the 8th campaign have gotten some serious attention for a series of print ads targeted towards men.

The ads show soldiers and firefighters saving young children from various situations.

The ads have been condemned by Irish firefighters, who spoke to The Worker's Party.

Sara Phelan, a firefighter at Tallaght fire station, said: 'The sexism in this ad is unbelievable.'

'Not only does it presume that being a firefighter is a typically ‘manly’ job – and not one that women do. It also uses the good reputation which my profession has, to campaign against my right to access basic healthcare services like abortion, and possibly endanger my life,' she said, in a statement on The Worker's Party website.

'I am campaigning actively for a Yes vote in the upcoming referendum, precisely because I believe Ireland treats women as second class citizens. This ad perpetuates that inequality.'

David Gardiner, also a firefigher at Tallaght fire station said: 'Nothing about the job I do equates to being a supporter of a No vote in the upcoming referendum.'

'My job is about safeguarding and protecting lives – and that is also why I am campaigning for a yes vote on May 25th with the Workers’ Party and Together for Yes.'

'Myself and Sara work alongside each other as firefighters as equals, and we canvass alongside each other as equals also, calling for a Yes vote on May 25th. It is a total misrepresentation of the work we do and the values we hold to link being a firefighter to the oppression of women’s rights – as this ad does.'

“I am calling on the Referendum Commission to intervene, and ensure the withdrawal of this ad.”

Ascending the steps of St Georges Chapel, the Duchess of Sussex looked glowing in her stunning high-necked gown.

The boat neck style was complimented by her natural makeup and she could barely keep the smile from her face as she entered the church.

As for the designer, it was created by British designer Clare Waight at French fashion house Givenchy.

The dress also featured long sleeves.

A long, trailing, sheer veil added an air of mystery to the look.

There's been much speculation leading up to the wedding about what title Prince Harry and his bride-to-be would be granted as they start their life together as husband and wife.

It's tradition for the monarch to offer members of the royal family a title upon their nuptials, which is why Prince William and Kate became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Now the 33-year-old Prince has received his new title, which Meghan Markle will be given, too, once they tie the knot later today.

"The Queen has today been pleased to confer a Dukedom on Prince Henry of Wales.  His titles will be Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel," the announcement from Buckingham Palace reads.

"Prince Harry thus becomes His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, and Ms. Meghan Markle on marriage will become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex."

It was long suspected that Harry would be given this dukedom, as the Daily Mirror reported back in 2011 that he had been promised the title if he wed.

The last person Duke of Sussex was Prince Augustus Frederick, who held the title until his death in 1843.

Even though he was married twice, neither of his wives became the Duchess of Sussex because his father did not approve of the marriages. That means Meghan will be the first-ever Duchess of Sussex!

The Earl of Dumbarton is a title that hasn't been used for more than 260 years. The Scottish peerage has been held by only two men previously: a father and a son, both soldiers named George Douglas.

It feels fitting that a title with such military history has been granted to Harry, considering his own service in the Army Air Corps.

Baron Kilkeel has never been given as a royal title before. Kilkeel is a town in County Down, Northern Ireland.
