Ever find yourself in town with no place to rest your bum and check your WhatsApp messages?

Having no data when you're out and about can be super annoying, especially when you're trying to get hold of your mates.

bag, electronics, girl

Well, Facebook is about to change all that with its latest feature.

The new feature means you will be able to see all of the nearest cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops that have free Wi-Fi.

That means you can grab a coffee while checking those dreaded emails and catch up with your mates.

Check out the video above to see how you can use it.

Companies will have to add their details to the app first, but once everyone is set up, it should be full to the brim with choices.

By now, it's highly likely you have a Bellamianta product nestled among your other beauty essentials.

The self-tan range, which is based and manufactured in Ireland, seeks not only to deliver a golden hue to our pale Irish skin tone, but caters to customers who understand the importance of treating the skin beneath the tan.

By using key ingredients, which help to capture, maintain and develop moisture within the skin, Bellamianta has become a  firm favourite with the Irish public.

With over 20 years’ experience in the beauty industry, Bellamianta founders, Lisa McDermott and Linda Stenson, chat exclusively to SHEmazing about their journey to the top of the beauty industry.

What gap did you see in the market? Why did you think you could fill it?

Lisa: As Linda and I both worked in retail we spoke to customers everyday and knew what people wanted, which is the best product for their budget.

We had noticed skincare had taken a very firm direction towards cleaner ingredients and we knew that people genuinely cared about what they put on their skins but didn’t necessarily want the hefty ‘Organic’ price tag.

Linda: We began to work on a skincare line, always intending to create a tan as part of the range.

We quickly realised that there was no other tan that was ‘Clean’ on the market and we took all of that skincare knowledge and put it in a tan. We pride ourselves on our ethos which is ‘affordable luxury.’

What was the highlight of your first year?

Lisa: The weekend that we launched the mousse we sold out within days. From that we were inundated with stockist inquiries and we literally couldn’t keep the stock on the shelves.

We had to triple all our manufacturing runs. It was at that point we realised this is going to be big, however we never it expected it to get this big this fast. We knew we had a good product but we also knew we were going into a market that was saturated and it would take time to gain our market share. We were very wrong as it happened very quickly for us.

Did you both always have an entrepreneurial spirit?

Linda: Yes, we have always taken pride in our work regardless of what role we were in and wanted to grow our skills to be the best we could be. We have always had entrepreneurial goals so it was more about when we were going to take the leap of faith, rather than when.

The five words that sum up our business are:

Luxury, Ethical, Exciting, Fast-paced, Rewarding

Can you comment on both being mums and running a high-octane business?

Finding balance between family and work is really difficult and can be impossible at times, we think any mother whether they work outside the home or not, juggles so much everyday. We have just become extremely good at prioritising and making lists!

High point of the first year?

The highlight for us was selling out of the mousse a few days after launching. It was totally unexpected and so rewarding.

Has your relationship always been professional together?

Yes, we met while working together and just hit it off and decided to go into business together.

What’s your brand ethos?

Our brand ethos is affordable luxury, using the cleanest ingredients while never compromising on performance. Our motto is ‘we didn’t come to play the game, we came to change the game’

What are your plans for the next year / five years?

We plan on expanding Bellamianta carefully to other territories, we say carefully because although we have huge international interest it’s very important for us to maintain the quality and integrity of the brand so we will take our time and expand when its right for us.

If you had to share three top pieces of advice for women in business, what would it be?

1, Believe in yourself, you can do it. 2, research and get advice from as many people as possible, 3, Have a plan, know your niche and know your market.

Dublin City Councillors want bin charges to be scrapped.

The Councillors are calling on the government to implement the motion, as they believe it will receive similar backlash as the water charges did.

They held an emergency meeting last night and voted in favour of the motion.

According to 98fm, they also supported for the local authority to take back control of collecting waste.

The new pricing scheme for bin collection is not yet known, however it is due to come in in September.

There's no word yet on wether the government will act on the motion.

Celebrity style is one of our favourite sources of inspiration when it comes to styling our own fashion friendly looks.

With festival season upon us, we're checking in on what the celebs are donning to the three-day events, and one blonde singer's style was giving us life.

Mollie King rocked a gorgeous playsuit at BST Hyde Park, where Justin Bieber, Green Day and Phil Collins all headlined over the weekend.

The summery sweet playsuit was trimmed with pom poms, so minimal accessories were all that was needed.

The former Saturdays singer teamed her playsuit with a pair or white runners and a festival staple, the khaki army jacket.

PrettyLittleThing Dobby mesh pom pom playsuit €33.75

The one annoying element about taking inspiration from the celebs is that the looks can often be from inaccessible designer collections, but luckily Mollie's playsuit is from PrettyLittleThing.

The playsuit also comes in black if worrying about keeping white pristine at a festival just isn't your prerogative.

Team yours with runners and camo like Mollie, or try toughening it up with black biker boots, a leather jacket and a trilby hat.

When we watched the Quidditch Championships on Harry Potter, we cheered for Gryffindor to take home the house cup.

And now, you can cheer on Ireland in a real-life Quidditch game.

Yep, Ireland is taking part in the European Quidditch Games in Oslo this week, and we're looking forward to seeing the skills the teams learned from the movies.

This will be the second edition of the biennial tournament, where countries are split into three groups of five teams.

Ireland is grouped with Slovakia, The Netherlands, Poland and Sweden.

The first ever European Games were won by France in 2015, and now Ireland is looking to take home the Quidditch trophy.

If you fancy catching a bit of the action, check out the link in the tweet above, where you can watch a live stream of the event.

We all know the fear of checking in to your flight and finding yourself in the middle seat stuffed between strangers.

Or worse, sitting right next to the engine on a long haul flight, with the dulcet roaring of the machinery ensuring that you don't get a wink of sleep.

You can always choose to pay that tiny bit extra to get the seat of your choice, but how do you know which seat is the best for you?

A post shared by Morgan & Liv (@fantasticphotos___) on

July is the busiest month for sun-seekers, with Dublin Airport recording its busiest period ever last July when almost 3 million passengers passed through the airport.

Travel search engine KAYAK.ie has done a bit of research on the best plane seats, so depending on your choice of airbus, there are a few great seats up for grabs.

The Airbus A320, used by Aer Lingus for short haul journeys, has one seat we should all be clamouring for.

Seat A1 is secretly known as the best seat thanks to the extra legroom, but it's also the quietest seat on the plane.

There is a significant distance between yourself and the roaring plane engines, so as well as disembarking quickly, it's nice and quiet for some shut-eye.

A post shared by Annet Sokolova (@annetochkams) on

The only downfall is that it can get a bit chilly at the front of the flight, so bring a jumper for warmth.

If you don't manage to wangle A1, aim for rows 1 – 10 for the quietest seats.

Rows 1, 12 and 13 are also your best choices for a bit of extra legroom.

When it comes to the worst seats to avoid, rows 29 and 30 are the seats receiving the most complaints from disgruntled passengers.

The reasons cited are less legroom, limited reclining space and close proximity to both the toilets and crew galley.

If you're a fan of having  strong Instagram snap from the plane window, there are a few seats to avoid as well.

Steer clear of seats 10A – 12A and 10F – 12F, as these seats offer the poorest window view.

A post shared by Soma Gergő Szebellédi (@szebsom) on

In the Boeing 777 aircrafts commonly used by Emirates or Delta, seats in rows 44 and 45 are the least desirable with similar complaints.

Seats at the back of the plane are proven to have the most leg room, so tall people take note.

We know which seats we'll be angling for…

Could this finally be the Friends reunion we've all been waiting on?

According to the latest claims, Lisa Kudrow and Friends co-creator Martha Kuffman are in "serious talks" about a Phoebe Buffay spin-off, and we couldn't be more delighted.

InTouch reports that the pair are keen to shoot a spin-off series and have even been discussing plot lines for the show.

Lisa and Martha are currently working on Netflix series, Grace and Frankie, together, so these "serious talks" could be more than just rumours.

An insider close to the pair said that Phoebe "would probably be divorced now and living back in NYC."

The source also teased a Friends reunion as "it's only natural that she would occasionally bump into her old Central Perk gang.

"It would be an epic TV moment. If there’s anyone that can make that happen, it’s Lisa," added the source.

It has been no secret that fans of Friends want the show back on air, but this could be just the thing we need to fill the void in our hearts.

It seems like Jedward are having a great 'ol time on Single AF.

The twins began filming the show two weeks ago, and were quite successful on their first dates, which both ended in good night kisses.

However, it's one of the other Single AF contestants who they seem to be getting along with quite well.

John and Edward took to Twitter last night to share a video of them teaching Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham a few Irish phrases.

Some of the sentences included "póg me thóin' and 'Conas atá tú?'.

We have to admit that Farrah didn't get off to a great start, as at the beginning of the clip she said, "tell me some Ireland," before trying to say "Irish," and then going back to "Ireland" again.

Hmmm…

Her pronunciation wasn't the best either, but as many of us can't even remember the Irish words we learned in school, we'll let her off.

It's an interesting watch, to say the least.

Is anyone else guilty of forking out fifty quid on an eyeshadow palette, because you just really like one or two shades?

Well, same.

But let's get serious for a momento – that is SUCH a waste of money (but we can't help it sometimes!)

Anyway, this got us thinking about palettes in general, and we began a hunt to find the best eyeshadow palettes out there – that we'd actually use.

Yep, we have found a wonderful edit of palettes that tick all the boxes – filled with colours we love, and actually want to use.

We will no longer be blinded by the excitement of a shiny new palette, only to find that the colours are actually not for us!

Have a gawk, and let us know what you think:

If you're the kind of person that can spot a typo a mile off, or seeing a grammar mistake makes your blood boil, then you're probably a bit of an introvert.

A recent study published in the journal Plos One found that certain personality types can become more aggravated when met with a grammatical error.

computer, desk, electronics

The study called If You’re House Is Still Available, Send Me an Email: Personality Influences Reactions to Written Errors in Email Messages (yep, it's a long one), saw 83 volunteers evaluate emails about an online advert for a new housemate.

The emails were split into three; either a well-written application, one with spelling errors, and one with grammar errors.

The results showed that both typos and 'grammos' had a negative impact on the application email and that introverts were more likely to judge typos more harshly than extroverts.

The authors of the study,Julie E. Boland and Robin Queen, said: "The primary contribution of the current study is the finding that personality traits influence our reactions to written errors.

"Although personality traits have been linked to variation in production, particularly the use of specific lexical items, this is the first study to show that the personality traits of listeners/readers have an effect on the overall assessment of variable language."

We live in a world where unrealistic body expectations are the norm.

From plastic-pumped celebrities who mould our beauty ideals to shop front mannequins with legs so lithe they could snap, the female form is constantly under scrutiny.

While usually these expectations have been confined to women's weight and body shape, the humble vagina is the latest body part with an altogether ridiculous beauty ideal being imposed upon it.

And by humble, I, of course, mean the amazing, life-giving, efficient, temperamental, and wondrous vagina.

A new product has been developed targeting owners of the aforementioned organs, and the 'intimacy capsules' aim is to prettify the vagina with – wait for it – glitter.

While we love a bit of glitter to adorn our festival faces, shoving a capsule full of the sparkly stuff up our vaginas does not sound all that appealing.

The capsules are designed to be inserted into the vagina, and your body apparently dissolves the capsule to create glittery emissions.

As well as making discharge and sexual secretions sparkle, the capsules promise to change the natural 'flavour' of the vagina to make it taste like 'candy. '

A post shared by kyle (@dudley_ky) on

'The flavour is sweet like candy but not overly sweet, just enough to make your lover feel that your Yara (water-lady or little butterfly) is what all vaginas are supposed to look, feel and taste like; soft, sweet and magical!'

The fact that this company insists that vaginas are supposed to taste like candy and secrete glitter is completely ridiculous, and reinforces negative stereotypes about women.

The concept implies that the natural operations of a vagina are sub-par, and that women should stride to be precious, magical little creatures with sparkly vaginas.

Why should the vagina have to deal with the pressure of beauty ideals involving glittery discharge?

What will be expected next, a post-coital fireworks show straight from the cervix?

The issue here is the potential for unrealistic expectations, and this product's promotion of what a vagina 'should' be, ie candy-flavoured and embellished with tiny iridescent flecks.

And I get it, this product is a novelty boudoir item, but the implications are there.

There is also a health and safety issue, as honestly, these Passion Dust capsules sound like a yeast infection waiting to happen.

Oh, but if your body does respond badly to being stuffed with glitter, it's just one of the many 'joys of being a girl,' according to the company.

'Scientifically, you have already inhaled or ingested more hazardous 'glitter' and chemicals than what is in our capsules,' reads the website (we'd love to see the 'science' behind these claims).

'You have not gotten sick from those chemicals in your body because the amount that you have ingested is so small that it would take an extremely significant amount to cause you any bodily harm which is why these glitters are deemed FDA approved.'

'If you've ever had vaginal issues you had them before you used Passion Dust anyway.'

'If you've ever had a yeast infection I'm sure it wasn't caused by glitter, it just happens sometimes (Oh, the joys of being a girl!)," they add.

They also recommend that your 'special time of the month' should be given the glitter treatment too, so you can 'at least make it a pretty mess' while expelling your uterine walls.

I'll take my au natural clitoris over a glitoris any day, thanks.

Within three decades, we won't be making babies naturally, apparently.

That's the opinion of one Stanford University professor, who believes that making a baby will be carried out in a lab.

Hank Greely, the director of Stanford's Centre of Law and Biosciences claims that the reproductive process will start by parents choosing from a range of embryos with their DNA.

Even though this already takes place for people who struggle to conceive, Hank thinks it will become cheaper and the safest option in the long run.

The process would involve taking a female's skin sample to make stem cells, which would then be used to create eggs.

The eggs are then fertilised by sperm cells, which produce the embryos.

"I think one of the hardest things about this will be all the divorces that come about when she wants embryo number 15 and he wants embryo number 64,” Hank said at Aspen Ideas Festive, Tribune reported.

“I think the decision making will be a real challenge for people. How do you weigh a slightly higher chance of diabetes with slightly lower risk of schizophrenia against better musical ability and a much lower risk of colon cancer? Good luck.”

Well, it'll certainly be interesting to see.
