It's the best thing ever when you're on a long journey and out of the blue, a Supermac's pops up along the motorway. 

No more starvation, no more travelling (for a while), and you can just indulge on a burger and chips. Yum.

Well, you're going to be spotting a lot more of the fast food outlet across Ireland as it is planning to open six new stops along various motorways. 

The company's founder, Pat McDonagh told the Sunday Business Post that the rise of the economy means he's making expansion plans for the next year or two.

"There’s increased employment out there and there’s a bit of confidence coming back into the market again,” he said.

The first to see its doors open is a new outlet on the Galway Plaza on the M6 in Febuary which will create between 70 to 100 new jobs. Sweet. 

That will be followed by four more restaurants along motorways in the next few years.

Kylie Jenner has gone all out for her new video/photoshoot this week. 

The 18-year-old uploaded a series of pictures and a video to her website, thekyliejenner.com, of her wearing bondage-style lingerie while she wriggles around on a fur blanket. 

The reality star turned to her fave photographer for the shoot, Sasha Samsonova, and even borrowed a few looks from her big sister, Kim, showing off her bum in a black thong. 

She's also seen hugging a random man in one part of th video, which we're sure Tyga wasn't too happy about. 

One thing's for sure though, she certainly started her New Year with a big BANG.

Well, another lady, another break-up. 

Leonardo DiCaprio and model Kelly Rohrbach are no longer an item, People have reported.

The pair, who first got together last summer, apparently split up months ago but hid it from the media. A trusty source told the website that they have remained "friendly and super amicable."

People have also claimed the Leo's work is what's to blame for the split, and reassures us that, "there is no one else in the picture."

But she also has an exciting time ahead of her as she's going to star alongside new-dad, The Rock in the upcoming Baywatch movie. 

Pamela Anderson, eat your heart out.

There's some big news on the celebrity relationship front today, and for once it's not another break up.

Nope, this time love birds Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift have reportedly moved in together AND are talking about possibly getting engaged. Yay!

E! News has reported that while Tay's house is under construction, she has moved in with her beau and now that her tour is finally over, the pair are talking about making things a little bit more serious.

A source told the website: "They are definitely talking about their future together and the possibility of one day getting engaged.

"It's really cemented their commitment to one another."

Can you IMAGINE Taylor in a wedding dress? She might even look better than a Disney princess.

Mark Zuckerberg might not have been portrayed as much of a feminist advocate in his biopic The Social Network, but in recent years he's done a huge amount to change that image.

And with a new daughter at home it's no surprise he's been inspired to show a little more support.

The Facebook founder had an epic response to one grandma's sweet comment today – and it's been getting a huge reaction from fans.

A woman named Dorothy commented on Mark's post about his hope to create an in-house computerised butler, saying she encouraged her granddaughters to "date the nerd in school" as he might one day turn out to be as successful as Mr. Zuckerberg.

Mark's response? Don't DATE the nerd, ladies… BE the nerd.

Brilliant.

Today, January 4, was a truly grim day for adults all over the country.

After almost two weeks of pretending the outside world just didn't exist, we were thrust back into the reality of early morning traffic, awkward chit-chat with colleagues and staring the clock down as 5.30pm approached.

Of course, if you're anything like us, you probably promised yourself that this year, things would be oh-so different. You'd jump out of bed with a spring in your step, before sitting down to a delicious breakfast of kale and water.

Or something like that. Here are a few of the lies we all most definitely told ourselves over the last 24 hours…

The night before
'I'll set my alarm for 6.30am, but I'll probably wake up naturally.'

 

6.30am
'Who really NEEDS to get up early, though? There's no point. None.'

 

9am
'I can totally survive on porridge and soup until payday comes around.'

 

1pm
'But spending all my remaining money on this juicer is an investment, really.'

 

2pm:
'I'm meant to be off caffeine, but the Starbucks Red Cups will be all gone soon. Must avail.'

 

3pm
'Ah no, I have to have a slice of cake. Just to be polite like.'

 

6pm
'Gym time! I'll probably go, what, six more times this week?'

 

8pm
'Okay, that was hellish. I've earned this glass bottle of wine.'

A healthy bout of social media stalking is acceptable – expected, in fact – if you've just started a new relationship.

After all, who wouldn't want to get the dirt on their other half's ex, even if all you end up finding is a bunch of Christmas photos and holiday snaps?

The only rule to keep in mind when you find yourself deep in the depths of Miss Ex-Girlfriend's Facebook/Twitter/Instagram page is to proceed with CARE. One wrong step and you could find yourself accidentally liking a picture and totally giving the game away.

That's exactly what happened to singer Gwen Stefani this week, it seems.

Eagle-eyed fans of country singer Miranda Lambert noticed that, of the 2,000 likers on one of her recent tweets, Gwen's name was top of the list.

Gwen's currently dating Blake Shelton, who split from Miranda just last year, so there's a whole lot of relationship politics going on between that threesome right about now.

We'll bet Miranda was only delighted to find out that Gwen had been indulging in some social media stalking – and the faux-pas was made all the more cringeworthy by the fact that Gwen doesn't even follow Miranda on Twitter. Awks.

Some fans have speculated that Gwen's "like" was something of an olive branch to Blake's ex – especially seeing as Miranda herself is also dating someone new. 

The singer posted a sweet couple snap of herself and new man Anderson East on Instagram just last week, letting Blake (and Gwen) know she was moving on.

Who knows – maybe they'll all organise a double date one day?

As the daughter of Victoria and David Beckham, it's no surprise that four-year-old Harper already has a wardrobe to die for.

Chanel, Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Gucci… yup, she's got more high-fashion labels to her name than we could hope to afford in a lifetime. But in a recent social media snap of the tot, it was her adorable hairstyle that caught our eye, not her clothing.

Harper's big brother, 16-year-old Brooklyn Beckham, shared an adorable snap of the pair strolling the beach during their family's Christmas getaway, with the little girl's hair styled into five long, dark braids.

Is it wrong we're taking hairstyle inspo from a four-year-old?

The Beckham clan have been enjoying a festive get-together with a difference this week, heading to a remote paradise island with TV chef Gordon Ramsay and family. 

Doting dad David shared this gorgeous snap of his four children taking in the New Year's Eve celebrations, captioning it "Happy new year from our beautiful babies."

And if Daddy Beckham has anything to do with it, little Harper will have enviably long hairstyles for a while to come – as he's admitted he refuses to let his wife give the little girl so much as a trim.

"About a year ago, my wife said, 'Maybe we should cut Harper’s hair.' And I was like, 'No! We need to grow it. Do. Not. Touch'" he revealed to Yahoo! Style recently.

"Since she was born, we haven’t cut it. That’s why it’s pretty much down to her knees."

A new app called Change4Life Sugar Smart can help you to see how much sugar you're really consuming every time you eat. The app works by scanning a barcode of a product, which then shows you how many grams or cubes of sugar are in each product. 

It even gives you a little breakdown to make things a bit clearer, like one cube of sugar is the equivalent to 4 grams of the sweet stuff. 

We reckon you'll soon be put off reaching for that extra biscuit/glass of wine/leftover Christmas chocolate once you realise exactly how much sugar you're taking in.

Anyone who watches Keeping Up With The Kardashians knows that Kim has a rather tough love approach to her brother Rob. 

But, in the most recent episode of the reality series, Kimmy made a fairly harsh comment about her brother. 

In the episode, which was filmed while on a family holiday to St. Barths, Kim, Kris and Kylie start a conversation about Rob, and Kim begins to mock one of his tattoos. 

She talked about how he got his a tattoo showing the face of his ex-girlfriend, Adrienne Bailon, covered with an image of Rita Ora – who is now an ex-girlfriend too. 

"He covered it with a life-sized Barbie doll of Rita that has now turned into a Cabbage Patch Doll," Kim joked.

"Have you seen it lately? It was like a Barbie doll and he's gained weight and it’s like a huge Cabbage Patch Kid. Huge!"

We know she's into tough love, but we're thinking that comment might have been a little bit too harsh. After all, we're all aware of how he is struggling with his weight and won't appear on the reality series anymore.

Now, we can really understand why.

Things are certainly getting serious between Gigi Hadid and bad boy, Zayn Malik. 

The model shared a photo on Instagram of her new beau holding her cat, Cleo. Zayn's naked torso is on show, identifiable from his arm and chest tattoo.

But something that Gigi cropped out is the image of Zayn's former flame, Perrie Edwards, that is inked on his right arm. 

On New Years Eve, Gigi also posted a snap on Twitter of her wearing a Bradford City Football Club t-shirt, which is Mr Malik's hometown footie team. 

Bradford City posted a cheeky response to the tweet, but Zayn was quick to answer back:

Fox News is known for it's loud presenters and irrational statements that are made live on air. 

Now, some of these statements can be absolutely ridiculous, so, Irish comedy channel, Facts, rounded up a few Irish men and women to air their opinions on Fox's most controversial moments.

 

Let's just say, they were less than impressed and quite shocked, to say the least, at some of the news items.

And, we really don't blame them.
