Honestly, who looks at the back of your neck? Most of the time it's either covered with your hair, a scarf (because Ireland is cold) or a jacket; so, do we really need to add ten minutes onto our already daunting beauty routine?

Well, some people think you do. A new trend covering Instagram lately is NECK contouring.

Beauty vlogger Makeup Wearables created this quick IG video to show you how to contour your neck.. if you want to bother.

She claims the beauty hack will work wonders if you're opting for an up-do hairstyle, but we rather have people looking at our hairstyle rather than our necks.

It looks a little messy for us, considering you can't actually SEE what you're doing, but hey ladies, whatever floats your boat.

He's just made it OFF our TV screens, but it seems that Jeremy McConnell isn't going anywhere fast.

The CBB contestant is set to make his presenting debut on Xposé this week, teaming up with the show's usual presenters.

Speaking out about his first stint at presenting Jeremy said, "I’m looking forward to meeting the Xposé team and having the craic. This is my first presenting job and it’s a great opportunity. I think Peter will be glad to have another male in studio for a change!”

He's following the ranks of reality stars presenting on the show, including Nicola Hughes and Jodi Albert. But we're looking forward to seeing his skills for the role.

Sam Faiers' new show The Baby Diaries made it's debut last night, but it wasn't all cribs and balloons for the show's main star.

Sam's boyfriend of 16 months, Paul Knightly, also made his TV debut, but viewers weren't too happy about his presence, branding him a "man child" five minutes into the programme.

The couple welcomed their first child together late last year, but people on social media weren't one bit impressed about how he acted leading up to the birth of their baby.

The "controlling" property developer refused to move in with Sam when she was six months pregnant. He also refused to COOK for himself, asking his girlfriend to make him beans on toast while she was in the middle of breastfeeding.

Leading up to the birth, Sam is heard telling Paul, "I feel like you haven't been around," and on top of that, he took a two-hour nap while she was in labour.

Sweet, huh?

Many took to Twitter to voice their views about Paul:

Oh and did you hear? He also scored his own mother:

We just don't know what to make of him AT ALL.

The annual Stuff Your Face With Pancakes Day is on the horizon, so we’ve compiled a list of four alternatives to the classic (but admittedly delicious) butter/lemon/sugar combos.

These treats are definitely worth skipping dinner for…

1. Peanut Butter Pancakes

A recipe that incorporates every #fitfam fanatic’s favourite condiment, these pancakes are just the right amount of sweet and salty. Pair them with some raspberries or a drizzle of honey to bring out the flavours. Make sure to use crunchy peanut butter to get the desired consistency. Recipe available here.

2. Paleo Pancakes

If you’re a Paleo follower but still want to have some indulgence to celebrate the advent of spring, try The Civilized Caveman’s super easy paleo banana pancakes. With only four ingredients, you can’t go wrong.

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas – mashed (the riper the better)
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup nut butter
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Combine all of your ingredients using a blender (or some elbow grease if you don’t have one) and mix well until you have a batter

2. Grease your frying pan with coconut oil and pour your batter making 3-4 inch pancakes

3. Cook 2-3 minutes per side and then flip for 2-3 minutes

4. Serve topped with some butter or topping of your choice

3. Chocolate Protein Pancakes

These amazing chocolate protein pancakes are an amazing way to get involved in the Pancake Tuesday fun while sticking to your high protein workout diet.

You can switch up the chocolate protein for vanilla or banana for a different twist, or try cooking some banana slices into the batter on the pan from an extra fruity twist. This recipe from Jennifer Meyering is one of our favourites.

4. Oatmeal Pancakes with Blueberry Sauce

Tired of your morning oats but want to stay full until lunch? These oatmeal pancakes are a little bit more ingredient heavy than some of the others but they’re worth the effort!

The buttermilk gives them a nice tang and the cinnamon adds some great extra flavour. If you want to keep your sugar intake low, instead of blueberry sauce, use fresh blueberries and some Greek yoghurt as a hearty and healthy topping. Recipe details here.

BONUS – The Classic

You need to have a staple pancake recipe in your life and THIS IS IT. It's foolproof, tasty and you probably already have all the ingredients in your cupboard. There is no excuse – to the kitchen with you. Happy Pancaking…

Ingredients

  • 100g plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 300ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil (plus extra for frying)
  • Pinch of salt

Method

1. Put the flour and a pinch of salt into a large mixing bowl and make a well in the centre. Crack the eggs into the middle, then pour in about 50ml milk and 1 tbsp oil. Start whisking from the centre, gradually drawing the flour into the eggs, milk and oil. Once all the flour is incorporated, beat until you have a smooth, thick paste. Add a little more milk if it is too stiff to beat.

2. Add a good splash of milk and whisk to loosen the thick batter. While still whisking, pour in a steady stream of the remaining milk. Continue pouring and whisking until you have a batter that is the consistency of slightly thick single cream. Traditionally, people would say to now leave the batter for 30 mins, to allow the starch in the flour to swell, but there’s no need.

3. Heat the pan over a moderate heat, then wipe it with oiled kitchen paper. Ladle some batter into the pan, tilting the pan to move the mixture around for a thin and even layer. Quickly pour any excess batter into a jug, return the pan to the heat, then leave to cook, undisturbed, for about 30 secs. Pour the excess batter from the jug back into the mixing bowl. If the pan is the right temperature, the pancake should turn golden underneath after about 30 secs and will be ready to turn.

4. Hold the pan handle, ease a fish slice under the pancake, then quickly lift and flip it over. Make sure the pancake is lying flat against base of the pan with no folds, then cook for another 30 secs before turning out onto a warm plate. Continue with the rest of the batter, serving them as you cook or stack onto a plate. You can freeze the pancakes for 1 month, wrapped in cling film or make them up to a day ahead.

It seems like it's not all rainbows and sunshine for Louis Walsh as he has been rejected by TV3 for his Ireland's Got Talent idea.

The music manager is very eager to set up the show, following the success of Britain's Got Talent in the past few years.

TV3 boss, Lynda McQuaid confirmed to the Irish Independant that she spoke with Louis and heard him out, but ultimately rejected the idea.

“We’ve had a long debate, myself and Louis. But I don’t think Ireland’s Got Talent is very TV3, I don’t think it would work,” she said.

“I don’t think we have a culture of working men’s clubs, which is where it came out of,” she told the paper.

“My feeling is that an Ireland’s Got Talent would start to feel very parochial, very quickly. So it’s been ruled out," she admitted.

“He’s not happy about that, because that’s the one he really wants to do – he thinks that the talent is out there.”

Sorry Louis, its seems like your time may have passed.

Yep ladies, you read that right. Matt Damon is finally coming back to reprise his role as Jason Bourne.

We honestly never thought we'd see another Bourne film, but there you go – he surprised us all.

Now, whether you just can't wait for all the thrills of this dramatic spy movie or you just can't wait to see Matt Damon topless again, you won't have to wait very long as the premiere date is this July.

We hate it when our favourite shows come to an end, and now Julianna Margulies' The Good Wife is heading to the TV graveyard.

CBS made the announcement during the Superbowl last night, telling fans that the hit legal drama will end after this season.

They promoted the last season, saying it has "hundreds of twists."

"But the biggest Good Wife surprise yet…This is the final season. The final nine episodes begin next Sunday," the promo said.

"Telling the story of the Education of Alicia Florrick is the creative dream of a lifetime. It was always our plan to tell it over 7 seasons. We wanted the story to have a beginning, middle, and an end," said the shows creators.

"We are forever grateful to our fans, cast and crew and CBS. We're excited to celebrate the final 9 eps and bring the story to its natural conclusion. Here's a spoiler: the last episode will be called 'End.' Thank you for a GREAT ride!! R & M."

It seems that Kim Kardashian had a rather special workout buddy this weekend.

The reality star tagged along with her sister, Khloe and her ex-hubby Lamar Odom to go for a hike.

Kim shared a photo on Instagram of an open road and captioned it, "Super Soul Sunday time before Super Bowl Sunday time with Khloe & Lamar."

At the side of the photo is a mans arm which we're guessing is Lamar. We're also guessing this is going to end up on Keeping Up With The Kardashians as they've been filming for the next season.

It's so good to see Lamar back on the road to recovery, and we're looking forward to all the drama that's going to happen on KUWTK next season. #OurGuiltyPleasure.

Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has given us the first glimpse of her stunning wedding dress.

The singer wore a semi-sheer lace dress with a high thigh split as she walked down the isle in Barbados last month.

In the first picture of her dress, she's standing beside her husband Justin and bridesmaids Cheryl and Nicola Roberts.

Former girlband star Cheryl Fernandez-Versini commented of her BFFs look, telling Hello, "The only way I could describe her is breathtaking. She literally took my breath away.

"I have seen Kimberley in so many beautiful outfits and with gorgeous hair and make up over the years, but this was on another level. And her beauty was coming from the inside out," she gushed.

"To watch your best friend marry the love of her life and having experienced their relationship flourish over so many years is something I have never experienced before.

"It's meant the world to me to be a part of their special day and I wish them all the love and happiness in the world because nobody deserves it more."

OK, so Kimberley Walsh kinda has all the #BrideGoals AND #BFFGoals any of us could ever want.

Beyonce was undoubtedly the star of the Superbowl half-time show last night. She is Queen Bey, afterall.

But, there was one heart-stopping moment when the queen herself nearly fell over.

But, as it is Beyonce afterall, she proved herself to be the ultimate showgirl by saving a disastrous fall by flipping over in an excellent freestyle dance move.

The mum-of-one was in the middle of an erratic performance when eagle-eyed viewers spotted her stumble as she sang her new song, Formation.

And the little blunder didn't go unnoticed by fans either:

Meanwhile, she also announced a WORLD TOUR this summer, and we're so friggin' excited.

Beyonce is coming to Dublin once more… Now the only question is, who will score tickets?!

As the election date was selected last week, a flurry of campaign posters happened to magically appear on nearly every lamp post in sight.

But something quite magical indeed was this Harry Potter-themed election poster for Fianna Fáil.

In case you missed Harry Potter (where have you been??), that's supposed to be Lord Voldemort and he's using a spell that makes people to lose their memories.

It was created by artist and designer, Morgan Art, and we just think it's brilliant altogether.

Ever since it was announced that the cast of Friends were getting back together again (minus Matthew perry, *sadface*), we couldn't help but think about all the questions that went unanswered.

Like, where the hell did Gunther go off to? Did Ross and Rachel get married? And did anyone pull on Monica and Chandler IRL?

These are all very good questions, but we have to say we want the answer to the last question the most.

Well, it seems like we might just get our answer as in a sneak peek video for the NBC special, presenter Andy Cohen asks the gang if anyone actually had to sign a contract to not sleep together. Wow.

The special episode for director James Burrows will air on February 21, and we hope our Friends air out their dirty laundry in the meantime.
