Remember the movie that told the story of a 10-year-old boy named Jack who, due to a medical disorder, aged four times as quick as his peers?

Starring Robin Williams, Jack was – like the vast majority of Robin's movies – a feel-good tearjerker which had us pressing rewind time and time again.

And while we were definitely rooting for Jack the whole way through, we'd be lying if we said our primary school selves weren't somewhat intrigued by his classmate Louis.

Every now and again, we wonder what ever became of the actor who played good ol' Louis, and thanks to the wonder of social media we now know and can confirm that Adam Zolotin is – in anyone's language – an absolute ride.

According to Cosmopolitan, while he didn't exactly set Hollywood alight, Adam, now 32, did manage to eke out somewhat of a career in acting, but mostly he focused on becoming a total hottie.

You, ladies, are very welcome.

When it comes to reality television couples, very few were as well known – and openly disliked – as Speidi.

Transitioning from a small-town all-American girl, Heidi Montag was as seduced by the bright lights of Hollywood as she was the party-boys who lived it up there, and it wasn't long before she met and married wannabe playboy Spencer Pratt.

Speidi was born, and sales in crystals went through the roof.

At the time, the couple appeared unfazed by the negativity commentary which surrounded them, and happily played up to their superficial reality star image. 

But it seems like it's taken the best part of a decade for the couple to realise that their time in the spotlight was limited, meaning their extravagant lifestyle and over-the-top spending would have to come to an end eventually.
 

"We should have stayed in our reality TV lane," Spencer told PEOPLE magazine. "We were keeping up with the Joneses, but we were going against Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes."

"I felt like I was someone I wasn't," Heidi admitted. "We had business managers who told us to stop spending but we acted like we knew what we were doing."

Despite cashing multiple six-figure cheques for their role in The Hills, and raking in millions for various other appearances and endorsements, the couple managed to squander the lot.

From designer clothes and security staff to crystals and €3,000 bottles of wine, Speidi spent like there was no tomorrow, and are only now realising the impact their choices had on future plans.

"Everyone else on our cast had houses and we had nothing to show for what we'd done," Heidi explained. "I was like, the haters were right! It was sad."

Damn those haters and their logic…

Matt Damon is currently promoting the latest instalment of the Bourne movie franchise, and while chatting to Spin, he told them that he was in Dublin not too long ago.

Now, you'd think an award-winning (and very hot) actor would make every single girl in a ten mile radius run to meet him, but alas, nobody did.

Matt came over to Ireland at the end of last year while he was on a short break from filming Jason Bourne – and he even ticked something off his bucket list!

"We had a weekend free and it just happened to be the weekend that U2 was playing two shows in Dublin so we went 'that's where we'll go'.

"It was awesome that gig, it was like a bucket list thing," he added.

And when asked if anyone bothered him, Matt said he was totally left alone, even when he went for pints after the show.

"Oh completely (left alone). Everybody was so unbelievably nice it couldn't have been any better."

Saying that, if I had bumped into him, there's no way I'd let him go without a selfie. It's Matt Damon guys, like c'mon…

Ariana Grande and her backup dancer, Ricky Alvarez, were first linked last summer when THAT video of her licking doughnuts was released to the public.

However, after almost a year of dating, the couple have called it quits, but remain good friends.

A source close to the Break Free singer said:  "She broke up with him. He didn't cheat or anything, they just found it difficult to make it work. They are still friends though."

The 23-year-old has deleted all signs of the relationship on social media, leading many to believe that she may not be coping with the break up very well.  

However, apparently Ariana is doing great and is "happy to be single and do her for a little while."

It would seem as though Kendall Jenner has a new man in her life, and he is a very famous musician.

According to pagesix.com, the young model is dating hip-hop superstar, A$AP Rocky. 

The pair were papped in Paris back in June, during Men's Fashion Week, and since then the rumour mill has been spinning with speculation into their relationship status.

Adding more substance to the relationship rumours, the two were spotted at a restaurant last weekend after attending A$AP's show in New York. 

A witness described seeing the new couple, claiming “They were coupled up at the restaurant… hugging, flirting and acting like a couple. His friend said that was his girl.”

While nothing is official, a source close to the 20-year-old reality star said that "they're not really together, but are definitely texting and talking and hanging out." 

Despite appearing all cosy with A$AP, Kendall has also recently been romantically connected to professional basketball player Jordan Clarkson.

However, if you ask us, A$AP seems to be winning the battle for Kendall's affection.

It's no secret that most celebrities – excluding, of course, Selena Gomez – get a helping hand when it comes to their social media accounts, and yet the public get a real kick out of having it confirmed in the form of a public Insta eff-up.

After falling victim to a less than perfect edit this week, Little Mix had fans flooding their page with tongue-in-cheek comments about the girls' contribution to social media.

Uploading a photo of a cab advertising the bands' fragrance Wishmaker, the girls appeared thrilled, writing: "So surreal…we’re on the side of a taxi."
 

"Who’s got their bottle of #LMWISHMAKER? Let us know what you think! Launch event tomorrow," they added.

Unfortunately for the lovely Little Mix ladies, they didn't realise their original upload also included the line 'How's this copy Jade?', and only went ahead and posted it.

Fans and followers of the Black Magic singers screengrabbed the original and wasted no time ripping it out of the band online, commenting: "How's this copy, Jade" over and over… until someone took the phone out of their hands.

Sure look, if it can happen to our Lord and Saviour, Scott Disick, it can happen to anyone…

Every tea drinker knows the devastation of having to fish a soggy biscuit out of what was once a perfectly good cup of tea.  But thankfully this tragic experience can now be avoided forever more as science has determined which biscuit is best able to withstand the test of tea.      

A group of scientists at The Institute of Physics used a robotic arm to test the dunkability of ten different types of biscuit and officially discovered that there is nothing better for dipping in your cuppa than a plain old McVitie’s Rich Tea.

When compared to classic treats like Fox’s Party Rings, Milk Chocolate Digestives and Bourbon Creams, the humble Rich Tea surpassed all expectations by holding its shape for ten whole minutes.

The Rich Tea also absorbed more tea than any of its competitors by soaking up an impressive 14 grams.

The McVitie’s Digestive came second of the bunch as it managed to stay together for 4 minutes and the Fox’s Party Ring came third despite sticking it out for ten minutes because it only managed to absorb 1 gram of tea.

Maryland Chocolate Chip Cookies fared worst of the bunch as they only took 45 seconds to fall apart once wet.  The scientists concluded that the cookie’s crunchiness is what led to its loss of shape.

According to The Daily Mail, the robotic arm was used to place each biscuit exactly half way into a mug of tea for 15 seconds to ensure no external forces could throw off the results.

Despite it all sounding very official, we're sure there will be plenty of tea-loving people ready to contest these results.

Hovering near the scales – also known as The Sad Step – before gingerly stepping onboard often signals the beginning of a fitness and nutrition plan which you SWEAR you're going to stick to this time.

And while experts are blue in the face reminding us not to get hung up on a single number and focus instead on dress size, muscle mass and measuring tapes, many of can't bring ourselves to ignore that scales completely.

Reminding her followers that weight gain doesn't equate with failure, one fitness blogger took to Instagram to share a snap which shows her at three different weights.

Despite a difference of just 5lbs between her original weight and current size, it's clear the blogger's body has undergone an incredible transformation.

"When I first started #bbg I was 8 weeks post partum and 145 lbs," she wrote.  "I weighed 130 before getting pregnant, so based on nothing besides my own warped perception, I decided my "goal weight" should be 122 and to fit into my skinniest jeans."

 
After reaching that goal, the blogger explains that she then gained 18 lbs and began changing her perspective on weight, writing: "I finally learned to start measuring my progress by things that matter — strength, ability, endurance, health, and HAPPINESS."

"Take progress photos and videos," she advises. "Record how many push-ups you can do, ect. And if you can, your BFP — there is only a 5 lb difference between my starting and current weight, but my body composition has changed COMPLETELY."

 "And if I didn't say #screwthescale long ago, I would have gave up on my journey," she admits. "So to the little teeny tiny voice in the back of my head that still said "wtf is this- not 140!?" last week when I stepped on the scale, I say SCREW. YOU."

This girl is our new fantasy BFF.

Listen guys, our phones are practically part of our bodies at this stage, and if you say they're not, you're telling a fib.

Whether you mainly use yours for calling, texting, gaming, social media or trying to organise a mini-reunion on Whatsapp for the girls at the weekend (which never ends up happening), there is something that you will always need your phone for.

So when our batteries run out, it's not ideal at all. In fact, I'm going to say that we can feel a little bit lost without them, right?

Any die-hard Scarlett Moffatt fan will know that Gogglebox wasn't the Geordie's girl's first foray into reality television.

Oh, long before the Moffatt family invited us into their front room, the family's eldest daughter got a taste of fame during her role in MTV's Beauty School Dropouts.

And it was in this 2013 show that Scarlett and Jeremy McConnell got up close and personal.

Before the Dubliner ever laid eyes on former Hollyoaks actress, Stephanie Davis, in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Jeremy had his sights set on Scarlett, and the feeling was mutual.

Commenting at the time, Scarlett made her feeling for Jeremy known after a sneaky shift, telling producers: "He’s the sexiest leprechaun I’ve ever seen in my life."

But it wasn't only our very own Jezza who caught Scarlett's eye at the time, saying of another cast member: "Richard might not have much going on upstairs but reading never gave me an orgasm."

Indeed Scarlett, indeed.
