67 dogs and 23 puppies have been rescued from a puppy farm by the ISPCA and Dogs Trust after they were reportedly found caked in their own faeces.

The dogs – which include Maltese, Bichon Frise, Shih Tzu, Pomeranian and Jack Russell breeds – were found to be living in bare concrete runs.

A number of the animals were suffering from serious skin conditions as well as eye and teeth problems which required immediate veterinary attention.

All of the dogs involved were less than three-years-old and were passed into the care of the ISPCA and Dogs Trust through the relevant local authority.

According to an ISPCA press release, the dogs were removed from the premises after the establishment failed to meet upgrades previously outlined by the local authority.

The CEO of the ISPCA Dr Andrew Kelly has thanked the local authority involved in the case for taking action and said “these dogs will now receive the care they deserve and will be rehomed over the coming months when they are ready”.

“Dogs are not cattle or sheep and have very different welfare needs including the need for socialisation and the company of humans. They simply do not get that in these large scale puppy farms,” he continued.

People with information about rogue breeders or suspected animal abuse cases have been asked to contact the ISPCA National Animal Cruelty Helpline in confidence on 1890 515 515 or make a report online through the ISPCA website.

If you're in the habit of sacrificing a made-up face for an extra ten minutes in bed in the morning, it might be worth noting that that very habit could be costing you a lot come pay day.

Yes as much as it sucks, a pair of American sociologists have found that physically attractive people generally tend to make more money than those of us who are only of "average" good looks.

According to Marie Claire, researchers Jaclyn Wong and Andrew Penner found that "attractive individuals earn roughly 20 percent more than people of average attractiveness”.

But before you get too upset and start blaming your financial woes on genetics, it might be worth noting that the study shows the relationship between good looks and income is reduced when grooming is controlled for – which basically means that by wearing makeup to work, you boost your chances of making more money.

While it was previously believed that women's looks have a greater effect on their pay check than men's, this study actually found that perceived attractiveness is of equal importance for men and women when it comes to their income.

The report states: “Further, while both conventional wisdom and previous research suggest the importance of attractiveness might vary by gender, we find no gender differences in the attractiveness gradient.”  Wohoo for equality!

Interestingly – and again stressing the value a bit of slap can have in the workplace – the researchers did note that while grooming can fully make up the looks-income gap for women, it can only fill in half the difference for men.

So next time the man in your life tells you make-up is a waste of money, you now have the info to put him straight.

Lamar Odom was reportedly removed from a Delta Airlines flight last night after getting drunk in the airport lounge and then vomiting on a plane.

According to TMZ, the former pro-basketballer was seen “pounding down” beer and whiskey in LAX’s Delta Lounge before drunkenly boarding a New York-bound flight.

Passengers on the plane reportedly saw Lamar vomiting in the aircraft’s kitchen area before making his way to the toilet where he continued to throw up with the door open.

Lamar – who has a history of drug and alcohol abuse – was then escorted off the plane by staff before returning to his seat again ten minutes later.

Shortly afterwards the athlete got up again to go to the bathroom, before being removed from the plane for a second and final time.

The fight eventually took off without Lamar and safely arrived in NYC 40 minutes later than scheduled.

The incident occurred the same day it was reported that Lamar’s ex Khloé Kardashian has kicked him out of the Calabasas mansion she was renting for him so he could recover from last year's near fatal overdose.

In May the reality star filed for divorce from Lamar for the second time.

Ten years ago we’d have lolled at the idea of photographing our dinners and sharing snaps of our day-to-day life online, but times have changed.

And while Instagram and Snapchat are now verbs in modern-day discourse, the vast majority of us know where to draw the line when it comes to getting snap-happy on the internet.

Unfortunately, not everyone is as savvy on this front as a 31-year-old plastic surgeon and father-of-two from the Ukraine has recently proven.

Sharing photographs of his unconscious patients on the operating table, Edgar Kaminsky has come in for considerable criticism from Surgeons at the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

While they acknowledge that the surgeon has a loyal fanbase online, they have found fault with the nature of the photographs he shares.

“Pre- and post-op pictures, when they are used professionally and respectfully, can be very helpful for patients,” Mary O’Brien, consultant plastic surgeon and BAAPS council member told the MailOnline.

"But inappropriate use of photos and social media is exploitative of vulnerable patients," she argued.

Suggesting the surgeon has more interest in gaining celebrity status than maintaining his professional reputation, she added: ”And it is my view, that during an operation, a surgeon should be focusing wholly on that operation, and not on marketing for his own personal gain.”

Defending himself against the criticism, Kaminskyi said: “All my broadcastings in Periscope are organized after the agreement with my patients.”

“They sign an appropriate document. I do not take social networks as a mean of communication, only as an advertising engine,” he added.

Back in our parents’ day, air travel was considered the absolute height of sophistication.

But with the advent of last-minute flights, online booking and reduced fares, we’d be lying if we claimed the same for our generation.

For the vast majority of millennials, most flights trigger the same level of excitement as the morning commute – none, whatsoever – and yet there are some airlines who still manage to capture a little old-school magic when it comes to air travel.

Acknowledging this through their leading Airline Rating system, Skytrax have awarded Aer Lingus its distinguished 4-Star rating thereby placing it among the top 40 airlines in the world for quality and service.

Commenting on the accolade, Aer Lingus Chief Executive, Stephen Kavanagh, said: "We are delighted to have achieved a 4 Star rating from Skytrax which recognises our product offering, service and overall guest experience as word-class.”

With Aer Lingus announced as Ireland’s only 4-Star airline, Stephen continued: “The needs of our guests are central to everything we do and this achievement not only confirms that our service enhancements are responding to those needs, it also confirms our status as global leader within the air travel industry."

Mike Rutter, Chief Operating Officer, is determined that the Irish airline – recognised worlwide by the shamrock on its tailfin – will maintain the high standards for which it's been known since its establishment in 1936.

"We will fight on a daily basis; to maintain that rating; to continue to deliver punctuality better than our competition and to retain a listening ear to our guests."

"We are thrilled to have achieved a 4-Star rating from Skytrax, to receive official recognition for Aer Lingus’ world-class product offering and service," he added.

It looks like Simon Bird has grown up a lot since his days on The Inbetweeners as the comedian has revealed that he is now a father.

In an interview with Heat Magazine the actor admitted his wife of four years Lisa Owens gave birth to a baby boy six months ago.

During the joint interview with his Friday Night Dinner co-star Tom Rosenthal, the 31-year-old actor joked that his son is already “quite judgemental” after Tom said that Simon’s baby has a “slight judgemental air about him”.

Simon – who met his wife while preparing a script at Cambridge – then said: “He’s only six months old but I feel like he’s already patronising me.  It’s great.”

The Surrey native’s big break came when he was cast as Will McKenzie in E4’s hit show The Inbetweeners back in 2008.

He has since starred in the two Inbetweeners movies and Friday Night Dinner, as well as creating a comedy panel show called The King Is Dead for the BBC.

Unless you're naturally introverted it can be difficult to imagine how draining social situations can be for the more introverted among us.

In an effort to shed light on the lived experience of an introverted individual, 18-year-old Rabai Kapoor performed a spoken word poem which has struck a chord with thousands of people around the world

Charming and insightful, the teen explained how watching other people interact with each other can leave her feeling insecure and – in some cases – downright envious.

"I hate people with charisma, and self-confidence, and their lack of social anxiety," she told her audience. "And then go up to people and start conversations. Who does that?!"

Reaching out to her fellow introverts, Rabia said: "This is for the people who have great ideas and funny anecdotes to share, who never get heard."

"The people who could potentially change your life, but are talked over," she added.

Commenting on the video which has been viewed thousands of times since its upload in recent days, Rabia told BuzzFeed: "I don’t write poems, but I wrote this when my friend convinced me to perform at Open Sky Slam."

"I was petrified and I refused for a very long time," she admitted. "To know that I’d be on the stage with a mic, in front of 300 people, and no one would interrupt me – it was a frightening thought."

"But I’ve received messages from people about the poem, and it’s so overwhelming," she said.

One to watch, ladies.

Ah, like many of us, Ariel Winter has caught the tattoo bug, and now's she's onto her fourth inking in only seven months.

The actress showed off her new art in Hollywood hotspot, the Nice Guy nightclub, and we absolutely love it.

Sweeping her hair over her shoulders, a lion's head tattoo was revealed on the top of her back.

Ariel opted for a black and white realist sketch which seems to be her favourite look in tattoo design.

The Modern Family star was certainly out to impress on the night too, as she wore a plunging white dress, with peplum detail around her waist and topped it all off with a sexy, vampy make-up look.

Slay, girl.
