In graphic phone footage taken by a journalist during Friday night's terror attacks in Paris, one woman's fight for life was clearly visible.

Hanging from a second-storey window ledge, the pregnant woman appeared to be struggling, unable to jump down to safety or to climb back inside.

After the footage went viral and was shown on news channels across the globe, millions wondered what had become of her, and indeed, if she had made it to safety.

Thankfully, new reports confirm that the woman in question survived the attacks, after one man came to her rescue and pulled her back in through the window.

The woman, who wishes to remain unidentified as she recuperates, connected through a third party with her 'hero' on Twitter yesterday, and was able to thank him for helping her.

Her saviour, who also prefers not to reveal his identity, described to French newspaper La Provence how he had run onto the stage of the Bataclan to try and protect himself from being shot. He saw the woman hanging from a window in front of him and did his best to help her.

"She was pregnant and was pleading with the people below her to catch her if she jumped," he recalled.

"Below it was chaos. I went through the other window and attached myself to a ventilation shaft.

"I was 15 metres off the ground. I held on for five minutes then the woman, who couldn’t hold on any longer, asked me to help her get back inside.

"So that’s what I did. I don’t know where she went following that."

The man was later taken hostage but made it out safely when French police stormed the building.

At least 89 people lost their lives at the Bataclan when they were shot by gunmen wielding AK-47s and wearing suicide vests, during a concert by American rock band Eagles of Death Metal.

The shootings were part of a co-ordinated attack on Paris, which saw 40 others killed in six other locations across the city.

For some time now, the people behind the legendary Barbie doll have been trying very hard to shake the blonde’s reputation for giving young girls unrealistic beauty standards.

In a new ad, their latest efforts to squash stereotypes surrounding the dolls are out on display with pretty adorable results.

Their new Moschino doll is pretty amazing, and it’s not surprising that everyone would want the chance to play with it, and that includes boys.

Barbie may still have a tiny waist and feet that look like they will always be in stilettos, but now it seems that she’s suggesting it is perfectly fine for young boys to want to play with dolls too.

In September, Mattel’s “You Can Do Anything” ad for Barbie made the Internet very happy with its empowering message. The idea behind the ad was that when little girls play with Barbies, they can imagine themselves in the roles of college professors, coaches and veterinarians.

Mattel have now featured a young boy in the ad who informs us that “Moschino Barbie is so fierce,” and adds to this claim by ensuring she is accessorised like a boss.

This Moschino ad is the first time a boy has been cast in an ad for Barbie, and the power of a designer collection aside, people were clearly excited about the doll.

The €140 limited edition doll, which came with mini designer T shirts and accessory items, sold out on Net-a-Porter in under an hour, according to Women’s Wear Daily

Ok fine, so we’re maybe a little bit old to be playing with Barbies, but this is probably the most fiercely fashionable doll there is, and we want one.

Unfortunately, they are completely sold out. So we will have to be happy with watching this very trendy ad over and over again.

A weather warning has now been issued by Met Éireann – with areas in Dublin, Wicklow, Galway, Clare, Kerry and Limerick being told that west to southwest gusts will reach speeds of 100-125 km/h this afternoon.

The ferocious conditions are expected to continue into tonight. It's all part of Storm Barney – the successor to the recent Storm Abigail.

The Met Office in the UK has furthermore warned that the unsettled weather could disrupt flights from Heathrow and Gatwick airports – potentially causing travel chaos for thousands of Irish people.

Meanwhile, Met Éireann forecaster Willemien Phelan warned last night: "A depression is forming in the Atlantic and an orange weather warning is likely to be put in place. We will be monitoring it closely.

"The southern half of the country will be mostly affected. It will hit from 10am onwards.

"There will be very strong winds in Munster and south Leinster. The winds will peak in early afternoon with the southern half of the country definitely feeling it."

Over the weekend, the tail-end of Storm Abigail resulted in significant flooding in Donegal, while heavy rain also caused damage in Wales and north-east England.

He's reportedly spent some €7m keeping his HIV positive status a secret, but Charlie Sheen may now be facing yet more financial – and indeed, legal – woes.

The 50-year-old Hollywood star has been married three times and is resident in California. There, it is a crime for someone to have unprotected sex when that person knows he or she is infected with a "communicable disease" (such as HIV).

If convicted, he'd face six months in jail. And if it was proven in court that he knowingly had sex with another person with the specific intent of transmitting the disease, then he could be looking at eight years in prison.

Of course, Charlie has not specifically said if he's had unprotected sex or not. However, he's already settled several cases with people who were involved with the actor and who were unaware of his HIV status.

One settlement is said to have occurred as recently as last month.

Police sources have told TMZ that as of yet, no one has come forward yet complaining Mr Sheen exposed them to the virus.

The actor is father to five children by three different women: Cassandra, 30, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profit; Sam, 11, and Lola, 10, with ex-wife Denise Richards; and twins Bob and Max, 6, with ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

He was fired from Two And A Half Men last year after going on repeated drug and alcohol benders. Charlie then went on to have a very public breakdown, giving a semi-incoherent, now-infamous interview to ABC’s 20/20.

Today, Mail Online is reporting an exclusive which details Mr Sheen's many personal troubles.

Saying he has become a "recluse in his own home," the website adds that the actor is addicted to crack cocaine, which he would smoke while repeatedly watching his old movies.

Mail Online adds that both male and female porn stars were paid anything from €23,000 to €32,000 a night each to "hang out with him" at his upmarket home. He is said to have had sexual relations with numerous men and women working in the adult entertainment industry.

Radar Online says Mr Sheen has been HIV positive for four years, with The National ENQUIRER breaking the details of his cover-up yesterday.

Any coffee addicts in your life are going to be feeling quite smug with this news.

Researchers have said that people who report drinking three to five cups of the caffeinated deliciousness are less likely to die prematurely from certain diseases.

These included heart disease, suicide, diabetes and Parkinson's disease.

Even better news! Both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee were shown to have benefits, said the study by researchers at the Harvard University Chan School of Public Health.

The study compared people who do not drink coffee, or drank less than two cups daily, to those who reported drinking "moderate" amounts of coffee, or up to five cups daily.

The study did not prove a cause-and-effect for coffee and the reduced likelihood of certain diseases. However, they uncovered an apparent link that is in alignment with previous research, and that scientists are interested in studying further.

"Bioactive compounds in coffee reduce insulin resistance and systematic inflammation," which according to first author Ming Ding, a doctoral student in the Department of Nutrition, explains many of their findings.

No protective effect was found against cancer in this study. Some previous research has pointed to a link between coffee consumption and a lower risk of certain cancers.

The study was based on data gathered from three ongoing surveys of some 300,000 nurses and other health professionals who agree to answer questionnaires about their own medical conditions and habits over the course of 30 years.

"In the whole study population, moderate coffee consumption was associated with reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease, diabetes, neurological diseases such as Parkinson's disease, and suicide," said the findings.

The experts did warn that coffee may not be right for everyone. Shocking, but true.

"Regular consumption of coffee can be included as part of a healthy, balanced diet," said senior author Frank Hu, professor of nutrition and epidemiology at Harvard.

"However, certain populations such as pregnant women and children should be cautious about high caffeine intake from coffee or other beverages."

The latest in social media news is something we honestly don’t know how we feel about.

It seems that every new app is just trying to beat the ones that came before it, and now Facebook has decided to tackle some of the newcomers. While Snapchat might not seem like such a fresh face (especially with all those bizarre filters) there are some aspects to the app that Facebook are keen to adopt.

The latest development will see Facebook imitating Snapchat’s disappearing message function.

The company are testing out a new feature which can delete messages an hour after they are sent. According to The Independent:

"If the feature is available, users will see a small egg-timer pop up in the top-right of their messages, next to the information button."

"Pressing that turns it on, and will mean that anything that gets sent will self-destruct, then it can be turned back off in the same way.'

Snapchat is becoming one of the most powerful forces in social media so it’s no wonder Facebook are trying to introduce this new feature.

The app is a firm favourite for selfies lovers around the world. With close to 100 million users, according to Fortune, we’re not all that surprised that Facebook is attempting to recreate one Snapchat’s most famous features.

At the moment, Facebook is testing the newest update in France and all going well it would be set to be introduced in other countries in the not too distant future.

Porsche has filed a response to Meadow Walker's wrongful death lawsuit.

Two months ago Meadow alleged that the Porsche Carrera GT lacked safety features that could have prevented the accident. Now, the car company is defending themselves against several accusations.

In court documents obtained by E! News, Porsche alleges that Paul "knowingly and voluntarily assumed all risk, perils and danger in respect to the use of the subject 2005 Carrera GT."

The company goes on to state that the "risk and dangers were open and obvious and known to him and that he chose to conduct himself in a manner so as to expose himself to such perils, dangers and risks, thus assuming all the risks involved in using the vehicle."

The company also believes that Meadow is barred from receiving any compensation because Paul was both “a knowledgeable and sophisticated user of the car."

In September, Meadow and her lawyers filed a lawsuit alleging that Porsche knew that the specific car in Paul's case "had a history of instability and control issues."

In respond to the company’s latest statement on the issue, Meadow’s attorney is continuing to argue that her father was not at fault in the tragic accident.

“It is beyond regrettable that Porsche is trying to deflect its own responsibility by blaming the victim—Paul Walker—for his own death by getting into the passenger seat of its Carrera G.T."

The statement continued: "Contrary to Porsche's assertions, the facts are clear: Paul was the passenger in a car that was not designed to protect its occupants in a crash on a dry, empty straightaway in broad daylight and at speeds well below the vehicle's advertised capabilities."

Jeff Milam, Meadow’s attorney concluded by saying: "If Porsche had designed the car to include proper safety features, Paul would have survived, he would be filming Fast and Furious 8, and Meadow Walker would have the father she adored."

The news surrounding Lamar Odom’s health has certainly been more positive than during his initial hospitalisation. Khloé Kardashian recently sat down with Ellen and described the progress he has been making since he was first hospitalised.

Sources recently told TMZ that the former basketball player and spouse is having trouble recognizing familiar faces. Now People reports a district attorney in Nevada may press criminal drug charges against him.

During the initial investigation, police came to Lamar's hospital room in Las Vegas to collect a blood sample. This was then sent for testing to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police lab.

Officials with the Nye County Sheriff's department have now asked the district attorney to pursue the case as a criminal matter. In a statement to People, Nye County District Attorney Angela A. Bello said her office would review their request but has declined to give further details.

“The Nye County Sheriff's Office has now asked the Nye County District Attorney's Office to review a request for prosecution against Lamar Odom for Use of, or Under the Influence of, a Controlled Substance.”

Lamar was found unconscious at the Love Ranch in October.

Reports now indicate the former NBA star may be having difficulties recognizing friends and family and could have long-term brain damage.

Last week, Khloe told talk show host Ellen that they have not yet told Lamar how he ended up in a coma. She said that there is a fear that if he knew the extent of the situation it would “set him back” in his recovery.

“He's really confused a lot we have to remind him. Every day is different. Sometimes he knows who the president is, and his birthday, and other times he thinks he's 26.”

After a very shaky start indeed to their Euro 2016 journey, Martin O'Neill's side have come out victorious.

Ireland will indeed be heading to France next year for the tournament, following a 2-0 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina at the Aviva Stadium this evening.

The Irish went into the break with a one goal advantage thanks to a 23rd minute penalty from Jon Walters, who missed out on last week's away game to Bosnia after picking up a suspension in Ireland’s defeat to Poland last month.

He then scored again after the break, just 20 minutes from full time.

Despite his suspension, Walters was considered a favourite for tonight's line-up, having scored three goals in the nine qualification games he did play in.

After drawing 1-1 against Bosnia under the fog of Zenica last Friday, Ireland could have walked away victorious with a scoreless draw, but clearly didn't want to win using such high-risk tactics.

"I think it's more dangerous to try and play for the draw," soccer legend Ray Houghton told Radio 1's Sunday Sport.

"You leave yourself very vulnerable to giving away one goal. You could keep it tight for 80 minutes, then you give away a penalty or a needless free-kick."

And indeed, a loss for Ireland – or a draw of 2-2 or more – would have seen the Bosnians qualify.

Fans took to Twitter in their droves after the final whistle:

Roll on 2016!

We're used to seeing LIam Neeson as the clean-shaven, perfectly-groomed action man, but in a snap that has hit the Internet this week, the actor has taken on a whole different look.

Liam is playing a lead character in an upcoming Scorsese movie called Silence, and the freshly released picture has caused quite a stir online.

The Taken actor spoke about his role at the Los Cabos Film Festival and explained that he had to lose 20 pounds for the part.

"[Scorsese] gives 200 per cent. He's intimidating. He requires absolute silence on the set – if he hears one tiny sound, it shatters it for him."

According to online reports, the new movie will be based on two Jesuit priests in the 17th century who have to face a long road of violence and persecution.

Adam Driver and Andrew Garfield will star alongside Liam, and Daniel Day Lewis is also rumoured to play a part in the film.

Silence is planned to debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2016.

Who knew tying your hair in a bunch of knots could be SO cool? That's what hair stylist to the stars, Sarah Potempa created when she did this gorgeous braid for Buzzfeed, and frankly, we are obsessed.

It looks totally complicated but it's really simple when you break it down step by step:

Loop braids

This is literally just tying your hair in knots and it's beautiful.// Hair styling: Sarah Potempa

Posted by BuzzFeed Style on Sunday, 8 November 2015

First, start with a triangular section of hair from your hairline going back to your crown – just like you would with a regular French braid.

Next, separate that section of hair into two pieces and tie them in a knot tightly.

Once that's done, hold the two ends in your right hand and pull another section of hair from the left side of your head to create another knot.

From there, hold the ends of the two pieces of hair you just knotted in your left hand and grab a section from the right side of your head to create another knot.

Then continue this on both sides until you come to the end. And viola! a deadly braid in under two minutes.

He's kept his health issues private for years, but tomorrow Charlie Sheen will reportedly reveal to the world that he is HIV positive.

Rumours kicked off last week when a "blind gossip" style piece was published by Radar Online, suggesting that a well-known Hollywood actor with a string of famous exes had HIV.

After a tabloid report this morning claimed Charlie was indeed the "mystery star," the actor is now apparently set to confirm the news himself on live television.

Popular US morning show TODAY announced via Twitter this evening that the former Two And a Half Men star would be taking part in a "live revealing interview" with their host Matt Lauer tomorrow morning, November 17.

According to E! News, two separate sources have confirmed that the HIV reports are indeed true.

The 50-year-old star, who has been married three times, has allegedly been keeping his diagnosis a secret for years, and has spent in excess of €7million to stop it going public.

According to TMZ, the actor confided in a normal of people he thought he could trust over the years, but news of his diagnosis was soon leaked.

After hearing the rumours, "several of Charlie's former partners" are said to have contacted him, resulting in pay-outs worth millions to keep them quiet. One settlement is said to have occurred as recently as last month.

In a further effort to keep his diagnosis under wraps, the actor reportedly requests that guests to his home sign non-disclosure agreements before entering.

Charlie is father to five children by three different women – Cassandra, 30, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profit, Sam, 11, and Lola, 10, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and twins Bob and Max, 6, with ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

The last few years have been somewhat of a rollercoaster for Charlie, who was fired from Two And A Half Men after going on a weeks-long drug and alcohol bender that producers at Warner Bros referred to as "dangerously self-destructive conduct."

The actor then went on to have a very public breakdown, giving a semi-incoherent interview to ABC’s 20/20, coining his now-infamous phrase "winning."

Since the news went public this evening, the normally outspoken star has remained quiet on social media.
