Contouring has had its time in the spotlight, and strobing is just getting in on the action, BUT, have you heard about baking your makeup yet?

If you’ve ever watched Ru-Paul’s Drag Race, you’ve probably heard, and seen, the fantastic results this makeup hack can have for your face.

If you want a flawless, crease free and long lasting makeup look, you need to get on board with this trick. Beauty bloggers on YouTube are starting to get in on the trend and provide the rest of us cosmetic novices with useful advice on how to nail this look.

It takes a little more time, but the results are worth it. Plus, Kim Kardashian’s favourite makeup guru is a fan so you know that this is legit the way to ensure your face is flawless all day and night.

Basically, the method involves applying your under eye concealer and blending with a damp sponge to avoid any creases. Then you apply more concealer, yes, it’s an awful lot on makeup, but the long lasting results are worth it.

Then you dust on your translucent powder, with your fluffy eye shadow brush of course. Now you’re ready for the baking part, and no, you don’t need an oven for this step, relax.

You use a wedge sponge to pack your powder over the concealer coated areas, generously, and leave it to sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Then get that fluffy brush back out and dust it off.

You are now baked to absolute perfection. Get ready to look red carpet flawless every day of the week; if you’re willing to set that alarm an extra 10 minutes early.

Take a look a more in-depth look at the ‘baking’ technique in this tutorial, sadly, no cupcakes are involved, apologies.

After all his antics last week, we can’t exactly say we are surprised.

It has been reported that Kourtney Kardashian and her long-time love, Scott Disick, have called time on their relationship.

The couple, who have been together since 2006, have three children together, Mason, Penelope and Reign.

Sources have confirmed to E! News that the couple broke up over the 4th of July weekend.

“Kourtney has always taken Scott back and been by his side, but now with three kids it has gotten old. Kourtney has to do what’s best for the kids,” the insider revealed.

Scott has been making everyone ask just what exactly is going on with their relationship in recent weeks. It was only one week ago that the reality TV star caused a storm of controversy when he was pictured caressing his ex-girlfriend, celebrity stylist Chloe Bartoli, on holiday in Monte Carlo.

Things between the 32-year-old and the mother of his children seemed even more strained when he was pictured with Ms Bartoli, yet AGAIN.

Throughout their relationship, the 36-year-old Kardashian has remained by Scott’s side. She has endured numerous cheating rumours and stints in rehab.

But according to the source, Kourtney is now “over it.”

“She’s fed up. It’s humiliating and disrespectful. How much more is she supposed to take?”

The insider revealed that the most worrying part of Scott’s recent behaviour is that he “does not seem to care about what he’s doing.” Scott has reportedly been hanging out with a bad crowd recently and is “unravelling.”

“He’s been in trouble before, but this is on another level.”

Of all the people you would think about seeing in the press area for a Nicki Minaj concert, we didn’t have Taylor Lautner high up on the list. Or, at all, actually.

But, there he was. Sporting his new buzz cut and a Nikon camera, the Twilight star has made the move behind the lens these days it seems.

The 23-year old was in the press photographer’s area at London’s Wireless Festival on Sunday evening. He is probably not one of the people demanding a refund for his ticket after Nicki showed up two hours late then.

The Michigan native has seen a slowdown in his acting career as of late. While co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have gone on to star in a number of successful films, Taylor has been keeping a low profile since Breaking Dawn Part 2 hit cinemas in 2012.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that at one point Taylor was able to earn almost €7 million per film not too long ago.

However, following the critical disaster that was Abduction in 2011 (it received a 4% score on Rotten Tomatoes), the roles seem to be harder and harder for Taylor to come by.

The buff heart throb is obviously not going to let himself sit by idly if this weekend’s activities are any indication.

He seemed to be taking his photographer duties very seriously as he snapped photos of Nicki’s controversial concert.

The US music star ended up stuck in traffic en route to her performance which left her fans waiting for hours before she made her appearance.

Her lateness meant she ended up interrupting David Guetta’s set and fans were not impressed.

The Mirror reports that after some fans had to leave the festival and miss Nicki’s performance, they’re demanding refunds for their tickets (which can cost up to €100) , with some taking to Twitter to voice their outrage.

From Guinness to Ulysses and even Colin Farrell – it is no secret that certain Irish traditions are celebrated around the world, but, there is no export more loved than the Irish pub.

And now it seems that the idea of the Irish pub has been taken one step further.

Last month, Michael McNamara and Eoghan Cahill launced The Paddy Wagon in Boston. The Paddy Wagon is none other than an inflatable Irish pub.

Co-founder Mr Cahill explained to Irish Central just why they thought a blow-up tavern would be a good idea.

“Irish pubs are known all over the globe as being the most fun, entertaining and welcoming bars in the world. So, we wanted to take this one step further and bring this authentic Irish bar experience to people’s backyard.”

The idea was taken from the inflatable pubs that have been gaining popularity throughout Europe in recent months. Michael and Eoghan decided to take this idea and give it a twist from the Emerald Isle – and what better place to do it than the most Irish place outside of Ireland, Boston.

The budding entrepreneurs described the appeal by explaining just how much they have replicated the beloved Gaelic pub.

“The outside of the bar looks like a traditional Irish pub complete with fake brick walls and a thatched roof. We also offer seating for outside and inside.”

The inflatable pub also includes a fake fireplace and a full bar where drink can be served… with no looming calls for last orders either!

We all have that same morning routine don’t we? North, the little diva, summoned it up pretty well in Instagram form.

Wake up: flawless. Think about the day’s outfit: complete and utter chaos and ensuing meltdown while sitting on the side of the bed.

Also, the fact that the Irish weather is just having an absolute laugh at our wardrobe’s expense right now does not help. ‘Do I need a coat?’ and ‘What if it gets hot after lunch?’ are questions that plague us daily.

Oh, and then there’s also the timeless classic of a predicament, I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR! Wardrobes full of all kinds of fabulous pieces but do you think we can summon the inner strength to coordinate before the working day? Nope.

Here are some of the most common thoughts we had when trying to dress ourselves before we leave the house.

“I’m going to plan my outfit while I’m in the shower, or having breakfast, or doing my hair… or just never.”

“I should have bought that dress when I had the chance…”

“I hate everything I own. Why did I even buy all these jeans I hate them!”

“I need to iron this. Crap.”

“But will anyone notice? The office is kinda dark, right?”

“Nobody even looks at me. Why do I care what other people think?”

“I’m amazing and I can wear whatever I want.”

“I’m going to be late.”

“Do I even like this? Yes. I do. Go with it.”

“Is that snow outside?”

“I’m wearing my sunglasses anyway. Chic.”

He's known for his amazing lifestyle – which often involves the best parties, yachts, A-list events, and famous girlfriends.

But Lewis Hamilton, fresh from his win at the British Grand Prix yesterday, showed his love for the simplier things in life in a touching Instagram post this afternoon.

Captioning the shot, 'my best buddies,' the F1 champion can be seen holding a tennis ball aloft in front of his two transfixed bulldogs, Roscoe and Coco.

And just days ago, the 30-year-old was seen riding his motorcycle with the pampered pooch also on board.

The two-and-a-half year old canine has been spotted on the red-carpet too: he attended the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year Awards with Lewis late last year.

He furthermore has a pass to the coveted Formula 1 paddock – something which sponsors and corporations pay around €1.5m to secure.

Given to him by F1 billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, Roscoe’s pass even features his photograph, in which he dons an expensive pair of Beats headphones.

Half way through the season, Mr Hamilton now leads the 2015 championships ahead of Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel.

And among the many fans quick to offer their congratulations was Kris Jenner.

The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch is rumoured to be keen to see Lewis and her daughter Kendall in a relationship, and indeed the sportsman has been hanging out the teenage catwalk model since his split from singer Nicole Scherzinger in February.

"She really wants Kendall to date him," a source told The Sun recently. "Lewis and Kris have become friendly in recent months and she thinks he's perfect for her daughter."

So maybe this is the key to a long lasting celebrity marriage.

Actress, and wife of Les Miserables actor Hugh Jackman, Deborra-Lee Furness has said that she’s banned Hugh from working with a certain A-lister.

In the past Hugh has gotten up close and personal with a number of Hollywood ladies including Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman. But, Angelina Jolie is the one co-star Deborra is not allowing Hugh work with.

Not too surprising considering Angelina does have a history of romance with her co-stars; Johnny Lee Miller (remember that weird wedding t-shirt?), Billy Bob Thornton, and rumours floated that she was with Colin Farrell for a while too.

The couple were interviewed by The Today Show and asked how they cope with seeing one another getting hot and heavy with other actors.

Deborra joked “I’ve told his agent he’s not allowed to work with Angelina.”

While we’re sure that Deborra has absolutely nothing to worry about, we do empathise with the 59-year old, considering Angelina is known for being the woman of many men’s dreams. Also the fact that she hasn’t ever been afraid to date her co-stars. And then marry them- ahem, Brad Pitt.

After 19 years of wedded bliss and two children, Oscar, 14 and Ava, 9, Deborra just isn’t willing to take any chances.

The blonde Aussie told joked in the interview that she doesn’t have anything personal against Angie, “I’m sure she’s very nice and I love what she’s doing – shining a light on awareness for adoption…just kidding.”

The couple were interviewed before they took part in the Adopt Change fundraiser in Melbourne, Australia.
During the interview the pair also revealed that they never spend more than two weeks apart when working, a promise they made early in their relationship.

“We’ve managed to keep that,” 46-year old Hugh said proudly.

So Deborra probably has nothing to worry about after all!

We can all relate to the painstaking process of trying to find a part-time job. However, we DEFINITELY don’t all come out with the same results as this guy!

Christopher Kellie was 16-years-old when his mum drove him to their local McDonald's to drop in his CV. Instead, he left with the beginnings of a prosperous modelling career.

The 21-year-old Glaswegian explained to the Daily Record how applying for a job in the fast-food chain led to his new life.

“I had just turned 16 and my mum told me it was time to get a part-time job. She drove me to McDonald’s in Rutherglen and I handed in my CV.

“I had just got back in her car when this crazy woman threw herself in front of it and started shouting at her to stop. I rolled down the window and she asked if I would like to be a model.”

It turned out that the “crazy woman” was none other than the co-owner of the modelling agency, Colours Agency, Alison Bruce.

Christopher admitted that it took him a while to warm to the idea of calling Ms Bruce for an appointment as he thought he’d “get a slagging” from his friends but they actually loved the idea.

Mr Kellie has since become one of the nation’s top male models, having worked for brands such as House of Fraser and Barbour.

And it is certainly a good thing that the modelling worked out well for him because, as Christopher said, he “never heard back from McDonald’s.”

If you're already worried about letting your workout routine fall by the wayside as you enjoy a summer of music festivals and dancing in the mud, don't panic just yet.

Tech company Withings carried out what has to be the coolest study of all time when they calculated how many calories the average festival-goer burns in one day at a music festival. With the help of detailed site maps and distance-tracking tools, the researchers were able to get an accurate idea of how many kilometres were travelled and how many calories were danced/walked off each day.

The average reveller will burn anything from 2,300 to 3,400 calories a day, which amounts to close to 10,000 if you're spending 3-4 days at your festival of choice. Of course, if you're choosing acts like Sigur Ros over Avicii you might find you burn less calories, but that's a personal choice.

Withings focused only on UK festivals, but here's their findings to below to give you an idea of what you'll be burning off at Longitude, Electric Picnic et al. And considering the SHEmazing! team checked out their own activity data after last month's Body and Soul Festival and averaged about 15 – 18 km of walking/dancing per day, the estimations below even seem a little conservative.

Glastonbury: 3400 calories burnt off each day and 8.2 km walked

V Festival: 3,100 calories burnt off each day and 7.4 km walked

Reading Festival: 3,000 calories burnt off each day and 7.6 km walked

T In The Park: 3,000 calories burnt off each day and 7.2 km walked

Leeds Festival: 2,900 calories burnt off each day and 7.4 km walked

So don't feel too guilty about queuing up at the burger stand or trying out the pie truck… you'll burn it off soon enough.

So once again it’s Monday – the ultimate day of good intentions and solid aspirations to change for the better.

But it you feel like you need a serious kick up the bum when it comes to your diet (especially if your weekend meals consisted of chipper, Eddies, pizza and noodles), there are a few simple steps that can make a real difference.

For one, it’s time to stock up on the following:

Fillet steak: Good quality beef – of which this country is awash – is great for giving you a dose of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), a compound that studies have shown help to whittle your core. (PS for the more adventurous, kangaroo meat is also high in CLA).

Coconut flakes: So long as they’re unsweetened (check the label) they're loaded with medium-chain triglycerides that are burned as energy rather than stored like other fats. Hurrah!

Spinach: Studies have shown that a spinach-packed juice every morning can really help you shed weight. The reason? Thylakoids – which are found in abundance in leafy greens such as spinach. They help you to keep you full AND burn fat. Double-win.

Barley: Great for when you need a carb-hit but want to stay away from an entire loaf of Brennan’s batch bread. Barley just doesn’t get the praise it deserves, in fact. Stick it in a soup or casserole, or cook it on its own as an alternative to rice.

Cherries: We all know that staying up late is bad news for your waist-line – so get a really good night’s sleep by snacking on cherries. They’re a natural source of the sleep hormone melatonin – something which helps to regulate your hunger.

And if you're looking to lose weight fast, don’t forget about these gems either:

  1. Yogurt
  2. Tomato
  3. Balsamic vinegar
  4. Honey
  5. Almond butter
  6. Cinnamon
  7. Garlic
  8. Lime
  9. Coriander
  10. Dark chocolate

PLUS! Two easy-peasy sweet treats to try…

Crunchy energy bites
Mix together 3 tbsp honey, 175g uncooked barley, 50g chopped cherries, 4 tbsp almond butter, and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon.

Roll into eight circles (like a biscuit), and place on parchment paper.

Then refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, before serving.

Keep in a lunch box until you want more.

Chocolate-covered cherries
Break 30g of good-quality dark chocolate into a heatproof bowl.

Microwave for 15seconds before removing and stirring. Pop back in for ten seconds if required, and repeat until the chocolate is melted and smooth.

Then dip four/six whole cherries in the chocolate to coat.

Place on a plate and sprinkle with one generous tsp of coconut flakes.

Eat immediately!

Ruby Rose became a household name overnight… Literally, overnight. One day she was an Australian TV presenter and then season 3 of OITNB aired and BAM – she was a global sensation.

But as with all rapid rises to fame, there are most certainly its drawbacks.

For the 29-year-old model, this includes having to postpone her wedding to her fiancée, Phoebe Dahl.

Ruby, also known as Justin Bieber’s doppelgänger, explained to People that when she initially signed up for the show she thought things would be a little bit more hectic but that she never anticipated the level of fame that she would reach.

“I don’t think anyone knew that my character would be taken so well. We want to find the time to plan the wedding, but now I think it’s going to be, like, next year.

“Originally it was going to be this year, but I feel like that’s a bit too ambitious,” the actress explained.

The DJ also revealed just how much she is enjoying being engaged to Roald Dahl’s granddaughter. “As it turns out we love being engaged, and I love the word ‘fiancée’.”

The former MTV presenter also revealed that when they do finally get to tie the knot, she plans on wearing a tux for the ceremony.

“I want to do a tux, like a really nice fitted suit. Givenchy or a Tom Ford,” Ms Rose divulged.

Maleficent, Simba, Cinderella… While these are some of our all-time favourite characters, we don’t quite know if we would be naming our kids after them.

Although, it seems that there is one Disney film that has sparked quite the baby name craze.

For the first time since 1917, the name Elsa has climbed its way back into the top 500 most popular baby names.

According to The New York Times, a total of 1,131 babies last year were named after Frozen’s leading lady.

This surge means that Elsa is now the 286th most common name given to new-born baby girls.

With Frozen 2 having been recently confirmed we can only imagine what number Elsa will be at on the list next year.

Surprisingly, the name Anna only jumped one spot in the overall rankings of popular baby names last year, landing at number 34.
