If you overdid it on the chocolate and rich food this Valentine’s Day don’t worry – we have just what you need.

Replace your rice with quinoa for an easier-to-digest meal without skimping on taste. Quinoa is a superfood and is a source of complete protein.

This meal would make a great lunch that you can bring to work or college with you.

What you’ll need:

Serves one

  • 125g quinoa
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 small tin of sweetcorn
  • 1 avocado
  • Handful of black beans, either tinned or soaked overnight and cooked
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parsley (optional)

What you’ll need to do:

  1. Prepare the quinoa and black beans as instructed.
  2. Half the cherry tomatoes and chop the avocado into small pieces.
  3. In a bowl combine the cooled quinoa, beans, sweetcorn, tomatoes, avocado and season.
  4. If you would like a little more taste, drizzle some olive oil and balsamic over the top.
  5. Add some parsley or coriander for extra taste if you have some.

Chat-up lines are generally considered to be cheesy and hilarious – because they are.

That doesn’t mean they can’t work for you though. If you pick the right time and an approachable guy, a chat-up line be cute and engaging and may even work, although we’re not guaranteeing anything!

These chat-up lines will show a potential date that you’re quirky, have a great sense of humour and are fun. What more could they want?

1. Did you just touch my bum? (No) Damn.

2. Did the sun just come up or did you just smile?

3. Is it hot in here or is it just you?

4. Well, here I am. What are your next two wishes?

5. My friend over there wants to know if you think I’m cute?

Prince William was guest of honour at last night’s BAFTAs and even got a high-five from Tinie Tempah at the start.

The Duke of Cambridge was greeted like a Hollywood star when he arrived on the red carpet, with deafening screams from the crowd that not even Leonardo DiCaprio could muster. The Prince then took the time to pose for a few selfies with his adorning fans because he’s a lovely lad.

However, it wasn’t  just the fans outside who were excited to see him, as Uma Thurman and Leonardo DiCaprio asked organisers what they should do when the Prince entered the room. When they were told to stand, Uma Thurman excitedly said: “‘Great! So exciting to meet a prince.”

As the president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the 31-year-old had the lucky job of presenting the BAFTA Fellowship Award to Dame Helen Mirren for her contribution to the film industry.

When presenting the award, he jokingly said about the actress who played the Queen in the movie The Queen, that she is “an extremely talented British actress I should probably call Granny”.

Oh and did we mention the high five?

It looks like Kendall Jenner is getting in there with the big names of the fashion industry.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star bagged a front row seat next to Anna Wintour at Topshop’s Unique fall 2014 presentation yesterday.

This is a huge deal for the 18-year-old beauty, as it would be for any youngster who aspires to make it in the fashion world.

She even shared her excitement with her Instagram fans as she wrote: “front row at @topshop #excited.”

No one can deny that Kendall is quickly becoming a fashion insider at this stage, as she even hit the runway for Marc Jacobs’ Autumn collection earlier this month.

She’s definitely becoming the one to watch – we wonder how Kim is going to handle this!

Selena has essentially grown up in the public eye and her style has evolved just as she has from being Disney’s sweetheart to a very chic and stylish young woman.

Selena’s first look is a gold glittering t-shirt that really jazzes up an otherwise normal daytime outfit.

We love crop top and skirt combos and this one is especially cute.

Jumpsuits are very trendy at the moment and this monochrome version is beautiful and has a great neckline that we love.

Selena’s final outfit is an absolutely stunning old Hollywood style dress that we are obsessed with. If only we could go to our debs again we would wear this!

Going on a trip with your other half is bigger than you think. In some cases, some time away can help a relationship flourish. But in other cases, going on an extended trip as a couple only ends in war (if not worse).

Here are some important tips for travelling with your partner:

Plan it together

The idea of your boyfriend planning a surprise holiday is nice in theory. But, you will only be disappointed if things don’t turn out how you would have liked them to. So make sure you both decide on a destination and compromise to make it work.

Have romantic moments

Take some time out of living the life of a tourist and do something you know you would never get the chance to do at home. Go for a romantic dinner at the beach or a midnight cocktail under the stars.

Expect some bumps

With flight delays and weather conditions, not everything will go as planned. Remember to stay calm and collected. To make the most of your holiday away, try not to let the little things get to you.

When over 1,200 people were asked whether or not they would have sex with someone they knew had an STI, the feedback was pretty scary.

About 19% answered ‘yes’, up to a quarter said it would depend on the STI and 26% said they would have sex with someone with an STI because they believe a condom would keep them protected – oh dear.

It’s no surprise that nearly one in five of those interviewed admitted they once had an STI in their lifetime. Even more shocking, nearly half of those interviewed admitted they’ve had unprotected sex with someone who had an STI.

These figures are quite frightening, if we’re honest. There’s no reason to jump into bed with someone who has an STD – it really is a big risk on your part.

Your health is your wealth, ladies – remember that.

Facial hair can be a huge embarrassment for ladies of all ages and it can really affect self confidence. However, before you resort to staying under your bed covers, you might want to try these handy tips.

Tweezing

This only works on annoying strays that are located under your chin or near the jaw line. Make sure you have good light and only pluck one at a time to avoid scarring.

Depilatory cream

Using a depilatory cream for your face is quick and efficient; however, always do a patch test and use sparingly.

Waxing

This can last up to about four weeks so it is not surprising that it is the most popular form of hair removal.

Bleaching

This is handy for fine, excessive hair as it turns it a lighter colour. If you do go this route, make sure you use plenty of moisturiser as blenching can dry the skin out.
